Candy Crush Saga Level 109.

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 109 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

Tips: Level 109 is an ingredient level, you have to collect all the cherries to complete the level. This looks a lot worse than it is because there are a lot of cherries to collect. You will need to clear the marmalade from the cherries and clear the blockers from the bottom of the board so that the cherries can drop. Stripe/wrap combos can be very good as they will clear a lot of marmalade and blockers in the same move.

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know on our FB group and I will try to change it.

Your initial advice - the first priority is to lose the bombs - is as useless as it is obvious, since no mention is made of how to get rid of them.

I think that Adrian's tips are helpful. They give you an idea of how to play the stages that seem impossible to get through.

Luck has to be in less than 9 MOVES, not seconds.

To get the bombs, you need to have a horizontal blast at the bomb level. To create it, start from upper part of the middle Jelly patch. I originally started from the bottom and it was always too late.

This game turned around for me when I realized that the bombs number were MOVES, not seconds. I began to clear a lot of levels in the episode without too much difficulty and this website explained that to me. And I am a very ordinary player.

Just cleared 109; really it is more the combination of candies you get, rather than skill; After taking care of the bombs, I got two cluster bombs together and they cleared the board. But I did not need to try too many times before the right combination occurred.
Parents. And I used no boosters

Thanks for the tip! Helped a lot

Now that I know the bombs are moves and not seconds - makes it a lot easier.

I agree with you. You have to have a horizontal line blast to get rid of the bombs. I have done this twice, now try to get rid of the two gels on the side!!! Also, probably not many advertisers so you don't get the option of viewing an ad to get extra life. I find I am playing other facebook games and going back to Candy Crush less frequently.

I just started this level and have not beat it yet but I did discover something that helps when it comes to losing lives... As soon as you start the game, before you make ANY moves look and see if horizontal match on the level of the bombs is even remotely possible, IF NOT push the go back to menu button (again BEFORE you make any moves) and it won't take away a life... Continue to do this until you get lucky with a chance to make the correct bomb in the correct place... It takes time but at least you don't have to wait hours to get more lives...

Yes I am replying to my own comment but I just wanted to say that I just beat the level and only lost one life overall... Like I said I just kept going back to the menu and restarting when I saw the board was impossible... When I saw my chance to take out the bombs I took it and it was easy after that... I am playing on my Ipad so I don't know if this method works for people who play on the computer...

I don't know how you guys are not using lives by hitting the back button...I lose a life every time

For those who thought it was SECONDS and not MOVES...how can that be?! These bombs were in the levels below this one too and only now you noticed?! LOL

Going back to the menu and restarting until you are able to get a striped candy worked for me. It also helped to

This "tip" about the lives is a crock.

It should work on your phone game app, it does not work when you are playing through facebook on your computer

A lot of this game is luck. And a lot of it is making stripped candies to swap and getting a few chocolate bombs....

On face book notifications I am told that 5or 6 people has given me lives, I go to the game board only to find only 1 life, what happens to the other lives that my face book friends have given me ? Happens quite often, like every day !!

Veronica, using the back button did the trick. Just passed the level by going back until I had a favorable candy allignment and did it without losing any lives, on the first try. THANK YOU!!! Great advice.

What is a go back button please?

Anonymous said...

I play on a computer. There is no "go back" button.

Using the back button works, you shouldn't lose lives, you will however lose gifted moves if you use the back button.

"Go back" button: do you have a menu button on your game board? Mine looks like a big arrow in the lower left corner. That menu includes a "help" button. The "go back" button on the menu looks like a page with a left-pointing arrow across it. (You can't "go back" from a timed game without loosing a life).

Found the top difficult to get horizontal combinations once the bottom bombs had been blasted.

Can anyone explain how the candies move, how do I get near the locked ones on the edges.
