If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know on our FB group and I will try to change it.

Adrians Tips
You start with 19 "colour bombs" on screen (locked with jelly, trapped by cream) ... and need SIX more.
Tactics are initially to open up at least one colour bomb, so play anything near to them ... ie which clears the cream.

Once one (or more) is open just play the open colour bomb against a candy ... this will open up at least one more ...

Repeat this, but as it opens up look for developing lines (vert/horiz) of 5 to make another colour bomb.
Once the board is over half open you need to take care NOT to clear everything ... so DON'T play a colour bomb onto striped (for example) as this will fire off all (at least, most) of the colour bombs ... rather keep using them individually toclear out one colour, therefore improving the chances of a new line-of-five being there/easily developed.

Once you have got the required no. you can always play one onto another to finish quickly (but for relatively low points!).

After EVERY swap, keep checking for developing lines of 5,  they are easy to miss! Personally I love this level ... it's different and fun ...

I keep replaying it (and still only have 2 star on it!)

I was stuck for a few days and was totally playing it wrong, used your tips and managed to do it straight away with 3 stars

Thanks Adrian! I agree with the above post. I read your tips and the very next time I defeated the level w/three stars. I avoided making stipes and wrapped candies because I did not want explosions until I could get all my color bombs made.

Thank you! I thought my love affair with candy crush was over when I landed on this level but after reading your tips I passed at the very next attempt!

Thank you so much for this, it worked! It still took me a little bit to get it, but using your method made it so much easier! I never would have gotten it the way I was trying before! I got 300,000+ too!

Thank you . I haven't got clear yet,but I have been down to just needing 2 colour bombs to complete game. And believe me that is some achievement cause I've been at this for approx 5 WEEKS!!! But now you've made so easy to follow hopefully I won't be too long now. Thanks again

On the second attempt i managed to use this strategy even before reading on this blog and achieved three stars (349,000+ points). This is personally my favorite level by far! color bombs are the best

I never comment on these things, but your tips actually helped me solve this in one game - thank you for the tips! I also got three stars!

Was stuck for months. I had totally given up until I read these tips. Got it the very first try with over 250,000 points and 3 stars. Thanks!

I do not see how it is possible to make 6 colour bombs - the most I ever manage is 2 or 3. Even in the video, we never see the player make more than 2 or 3 - at the end of the game, with 2 moves left, (s)he still needs 14 bombs and there are only 11 on the board. Yet, by hitting 2 bombs together he manages to win the game!? I don't get it.

Good suggestions. If you do not like the board, i.e. creating a combo in 2-3 moves, blast away ONE combo frugally to change the board. Blasting one combo at a time gives you more chances to see better boards. I created the required 6 with 17 moves left. Wow!

1) given a board, you should identify a few moves to create a color bomb. If not, it is not a bad board. My threshold is 3.
2) for a bad board, blasting away one color bomb. Treat those color bombs as a ticket to a new board. Use them frugally. You need to repeat this as many times as allowed.
3) this is a corollary of 2). Never merge two special candies together unless you have all 25 color bomb on the board already.

weeeeeeeeeeeeee only 8 lives needed and i got 3 stars! with 6 moves left. this one was filling up with color bombs lol as candies were dropping lol may the rest of the game be like this. and i read all comments before every level for any hints. i dont bother watching videos.

Where have you been, Adrian????? After three days on this level, I looked, again, for help, and there you were! I don't know why you haven't been able to get three stars. After reading your tip, I did, first try!!

Anonymous said...

Have just completed..3stars -224,000! Took me ages tho!

I think your tips are really great...but I am still getting stuck with needing at least 2 more choc bombs ...oh well ....probably hasn't clicked in my brain yet ...off for another try !!

I can't for the life of e get this work in y favor

Love your tips! I beat the level on the first try and got 3 stars. It was challenging not making the stripe and wrapped candies. Thanks so much for posting.

Easily one of the best tips for a candy crush level I've ever read. I totally played it wrong the first time, clearing all the bombs first - but I beat it immediately using this strategy. 442,660 points!

Thank you so much. I was about to give up on this game until I read this. Thank you.

Just mad that at level 197 all my gifts were removed...

Requires a little patience after each move to check for combinations. Avoid making stripes or wrapped candies.

i complete this level with 3 stars, with 4 lac 26 thousand points, using color bombs 1 by one simple color boundings , like green is less so i make combination green and color bomb , after that green all disappear and like purple is maximum on screen u make color bomb once more .,and this strategy works

I used your tip on my next try, after trying this board about 20 times, and made it to #1 on my leaderboard. Great tip.

Anon of 6th March - I do hope you didn't really spend that much money. This is a game! The point is to have fun. Reaching the end is not a great achievement other than for the fun of it. I have actually reached that end - level 575 as of a couple of weeks ago, and don't spend a single penny/cent/whatever. Nor did I have any help from Facebook friends - I had to do 3 quests after every episode. I have found this forum helpful, though. Please, people, don't spend money on it and if it frustrates you too much - give up, find something more worthy to use that time and emotional energy on.

Tips really work!

LEVEL 202 COMPLETED!!!!! Don't use all your colour bombs in one big bang. Target one candy
colour at a time. HOWEVER, when choosing a candy colour to target
with one of the colour bombs, don't just choose any old colour, look to see which colour has most pieces on the board. In this way, say if green has 15 colours on the board and red has 9, if you choose green you get rid of more candies and therefore have more room for, hopefully, an incoming colour bomb to appear. I followed this strategy. It didn't work the first time, but on the second attempt I managed to position a group of blues in a way which I suspected, with some hard thinking and intricate moves, I could get another blue on one side of the four blues (notice that when I say four I mean three in line with a gap and the fourth hovering above the gap.) You then have to negotiate an extra blue, in this situation, on the side of the row with just one blue, rather than on the other side, which will create a three in line and knock the whole thing out. So I was doing this and also trying to maintain a nearly similar pattern among the greens a short distance away. Through carefully juggling the moves in this way I suddenly noticed I had managed to create a row of five, with one of them hovering out of place just above the gap. BINGO!! Just slotted into place and that was my last colour bomb completed. RESULT!! That's how you do it. Hard work but determination and following this strategy should get you the result too.

c/candycrush.
My second time around the board at this level. First time round I got there by firing all the colour bombs at once.

This time, I withstood the temptation to match a colour ball with a colour ball and just matched each with a colour candy one at a time, to try to get more chances of making another colour ball. Worked first off, though it probably will take a couple of tries.

It isn't a hard level, you just have to look for developing spots where you can make some of your own colour balls and eliminating one colour out of the board at a time will help.

Amazing, worked like a charm. Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I’d been stuck on this for ages but using your technique I’ve just finished with a score of over 420,000 and three stars!
