Candy Crush Saga Level 254 Tips and video

New hints and tips showing how to pass level 254 Candy Crush Saga without using boosters by Cookie
You now need to make 5 colourbombs and 8 each of stripes and wraps in only 20 moves.
Don't worry as this is not as hard as it sounds. The best, and maybe only, way to get the stripes and wraps you need is to make a combo by switching a colourbomb with a stripe or a wrap. Switching these will give you one of the colourbombs and all the stripes or wraps you need. Do this with both a stripe and a wrap and you will have almost all the orders collected.

The mystery candies may also give you what you need as you work, so match them as much as you can to see what they give. Once you have all the stripes and wraps you need concentrate on making any remaining colourbombs, look very carefully at the board to see where you need to move candies to make those colourbombs. Remember you still have to use the colourbombs when you get them to make them count.

Well I spent many lives trying to use the given stripes/wraps and chocolate bombs. Once I got the jelly off them, and opening up a couple surprise candies I had stripes , wraps and colour bombs all over the place but not close enough to crush. I know, stating the obvious but  just agreeing with what everyone says is the problem with this one.
Once I inadvertently cleared  the board, and had the entire field to play with, it seemed easier to just make my own and use the cascade given "gifts" to make my combos.
The stripes and wraps can be moved around so learn how to do that but the colour bombs, if you can't drop one on top of or next to another one, just detonate it to remove a color from the board making it easier to make other candies you need. The colour bombs were practically given to me and the wraps seemed to be the most elusive so I focused on those. Go slow and try to predict the outcomes of your moves. You also need to factor in a lucky board. If your surprise candies give you bombs and chocolates it's an unlucky board, if you get wraps and colour bombs it's a good board.. good luck and hope you get it soon.

The only way I managed to clear this level was to get the striped and wrapped combos done as soon as possible and before clearing the cream. Once you make these combos the explsoins from them will clear a lot of the cream. then be careful of the striped cany bottom left as it may kill you chocolate bomb

♥ After trying around 5 lives, I finally got a good board and finished it with 29 lives left! That got me up to 3 stars at exactly 140,000. Luck and skill combined to get your orders. I combined the wrapped candies first since it's the hardest. I thought the color ball would be hard but it isn't too bad. They provide 1 of each on the bottom but didn't have to use them at all.

This level seems to cause wrapped/striped candies to blow up randomly, even if there's nothing around them that matches their colors. Anyone else seeing this? It's happening to me on both iPhone and Facebook. Is it a bug or deliberate?

No issues with random blow ups!! Got this on 2nd attempt., mystery wrapper next to another wrap., bonus so i get that first., A color bomb up top i created next got it down the bottom to the one exposed..easy..then I had 20 moves to create my stripes..3 stars..not too hard..just go slow

I too have random blowups from wrapped/striped candies. It is very annoying. I feel like it is taking me forever to clear this level.

Random blow ups constantly, finding it very difficult to work thru this level, very very infuriating!!

Got it after about 10 lives, had random blow ups but I think that was caused by all the moves, ie you can have all the combos u need on board n one move would blow everything up....total frustration with that, as then u needed to make more of the needed combos. keep going all of a sudden your combos will be together.

Very frustrated on this level . I too have the blow ups . Enough to make me quit this game. I like challenges but this is getting ridiculous.

This level may make me quit. Random blowups that I can't stop no matter how slow I go - which is a seriously annoying unhelpful comment. Do you honestly think we aren't careful?I have been close then a random blowup happens and I'm back to square one. Don't see a way around it.

Passing this level is pure luck. They really need to fix the random blowups. They do not follow the rules so there is no way to predict what will happen. I got incredibly lucky because one of the mystery candies was a sprinkle ball that opened right next to a sprinkle ball. This is the ONLY reason I passed because you cannot maneuver them. Fortunately I had enough moves left (barely) to match 2 striped which is the easiest to get. I was able to match 2 wrapped early on. Good luck on this one people.

Try not to break any of the jelly/candies on the bottom. It's much easier to get special candies this way. I worked on this level for days with no success, but when I finally tried it this way I beat it easily on my 2nd try.

I really DON'T like levels like this one! It is not fun because there is no way to predict the moves.

Was getting frustrated read this blog. Cycled through boards till I got one that allowed for creation of a wrapped candy on first move. Didn't matter I guess because I ended up exploding everything including the entire bottom two rows of freebies. Made a chocoball up top and then another in bottom and clear space in between to join the two. After the dust settled had two wrapped side by side. 30 moves left to join a couple stripies, easy peasy finally!

Too many random blow ups. Work do hard to get and move special candies and the whole thing just blows up over nothing. definitely too frustrating.

IDK why but people are ALWAYS complaining about candy crush levels...like seriously if you're just going to complain about every single challenging level then why are you still playing?? -.-

I too am seeing a lot of random explosions. And I am going super slow. After ten lives I still have not succeeded but it is a little enjoyable to play the board. Will give it a few days.

C/candycrush

Hard level. Lots of random blowups, so don't think even for a minute you'll be able to save special candies for too long. Even specials on the other side of the board from where you made the move get detonated.
But the other side of that is you'll get some random luck too and colour bombs that pop up together.

Just keep playing-this is a matter of several days worth of play. I must have played about 80 games before I got through, but it is not as hellish as level 245.

It is levels like this that make people quit. Candy Crush - fix the random blow ups! Don't care for levels that are pure luck and take forever to complete!

Completed on very last move. Very tedious. Free bottom bomb then just luck.

I'm getting the random blow ups too. Everytime I think I'm creating a great setup, an explosion takes it away from me. Very frustrating! I don't know if I'll ever get thru this levelm

As so many people have stated this round seems to be pure luck. I was stuck on it for weeks. I read everyone's comments and realized I wasn't doing anything wrong. By a sure fluke the next time I played I passed the round. I agree that the random explosions are frustrating when you are trying to set something up.

I was about to give up on this Level..
Endless Lives wasted in Trys just to
get one out of three Combos..
I cleared it after 3 Days..
My Tactic:
Make the Board open, nevermind those
given Candys at the Bottom..
You want to create as much movement on the Board as possible till the point you got a Special Candy.
Then you have to be really careful not to jinx it. Dont give up, you will get the Lucky Combinations soon!

I quit. terrible, bored, and really angry. never back to this game.

Played this level at least a hundred times. Did everything right. Random blow ups have finished me off. Goodbye Candycrush.

Dont worry about the breakung the cream at first and compartmentalize the orders. Get the stripes completed then the wrapped completed and then color bombs. Once I did it this way I got it on the first try- after many, many tries of random combos and random explosions. Good luck.

I agree with the above. VERY frustrating level. If I strategize to set up a combination and it blows up what I set up, I should get the credit!! Revamp this level.

I finally did it!! Be patient, it may take a couple of days.
