Candy Crush Saga Level 265.

Tips for level 265 from an anonymous player..

Tips: before you combine the multicoloured ones with the stripped ones, try to count HOW MANY of the particular colour are on each line (there are four lines - and if they are not enough of the particular colour (in my case blue), try to get more so more blue candies will turn into stripped blue ones when you combine.
I did so, and managed this level :)

More tips from Remo Shen.

This is a little tricky as all the jelly is double jelly, off to the sides and you have bomb dispensers once you eliminate the pieces. The helpful part is all the jelly is in the same 4 rows so you can can create horizontal striped candies and set them off in those rows, that’s the most common way to get through this level. If you can create a color bomb and mix it with a striped candy you can do major damage and it will make it a lot easier to pass this level in 30 moves. The hardest part is keeping track of all the bombs and making them disappear when needed.

can you post some tips?!!

Anonymous said...

I could use some too. . . this board sucks

Anonymous said...

It's horrible! HELP!!

Anonymous said...

This level is insane! No one has any hints? how is it even possible? I could see if there were only 4 colors but 6??

Anonymous said...

This level is impossible!!

Anonymous said...

You need to make a color bomb and a striped candy. That looks like the only way.

Anonymous said...

Finally! You have to use color bombs & stripes & I did first one side & then the other! Only got 1 star, but don't care! Just glad to be past this level!

Unknown said...

Only way I could do it to - concentrate on trying to make colour bombs and combine with stripes - had to do it twice in my game to finally win it - don't think about popping jelly without these combinations - good luck.

Anonymous said...

This doesn't even work, I had that combo 6 times and it still didn't clear the jelly.

It's all luck, nothing less, nothing more.

Anonymous said...

I had 6 color bomb/stripe combo's and it still didn't clear the jelly.

It simply doesn't work, you need pure luck to finish this level. They need to either revamp the level or remove it.

This level's a gong show. I don't believe I've ever seen such a buggy level. Bombs dropping with 1 tick before they detonate; candies self destructing for no reason, un-usable color bombs (yes I couldn't move them into other candies). Unbreakable jelly (sounds funny but it really is ridiculous when the last jelly you need to break, doesn't break.

It makes you wonder what King.com's vision is with Candy Crush. They have an asinine pay method for power ups that have no guarantee to even help you pass the level. You can't stack more than 5 lives. They have all these buggy levels and never both to fix them, yet they have the odasity to make a commercial to promote the game.

Why don't they make a commercial talking about how buggy, lopsided, and pay driven the game is instead?

This may be the level that does me in. I even combined 2 color bombs and it didn't make a difference. Too many of these boards are pure luck.

I'm considering quitting because of this level. It's just not fun.

I've only been stuck on this level for a couple of days, and no amount of combining a color bomb with striped candy has helped. I haven't had two color bombs yet that didn't get accidentally exploded by something else before I could swap them, so I have no idea if that will work successfully.

The video above looks like the person won by sheer luck. I wonder how many times they failed first.

Also, thank you, everyone. It's at least nice to know that I'm not the only one who is really annoyed by the way this game works, regardless of how much fun it can be.

I know you guys will either hate me or not believe me, first try, got it. 1 striped/wrapped in the middle, 2 color bombs/striped combo with the last single jelly lined up (no skill just happened). I even lost a color bomb after an exploding wrapped candy took it out. I will say 90% luck, I only made a few moves to get color bombs. I was dreading the comments especially bcs people this far know what they are doing (this isn't level 30) and those bombs and tucked away jellies always give me problems. Don't worry, I suck at timed levels. Keep trying. Candy on Dean

Anonymous said...

I totally agree, no fun at all, have been stuck here for days, no matter what you do the bombs explode, patience is one thing, but my patience is about to explode as well. Have swapped coloured balls with stripped and with wrapped, makes no difference, give us a break King.

Anonymous said...

I love a fun and challenging game but this is rediculous ! It's obvious after reading these posts that King.com does not care about their gamers. This level is a joke. I've been playing this game for months now and have enjoyed it very much. I have made it thru some tuff levels but I see no hope for this level. When the fun turns to anger and frustration its time to call it quits and find another game!

Unknown said...

Just did it. It is a matter of luck and mixing the colour bomb with a striped sweet. I tried it before and mixed the colour bomb with a striped sweet three times with no luck. Keep at it. Just try to get the colour bomb and the stripped sweet without disturbing the bombs.

Anonymous said...

I did it with a color bomb, striped candy/wrapper candy combo against one of thee sides, another color bomb to defuse a time bomb, and then finished with a color bomb/ striped candy combo. I was only able to get 2 stars, but passed it.

Unknown said...

I'm with you on this Teri - getting frustrated with it now

Unknown said...

I'm considering quitting I cannof pass this level for anything i thought yhe other levels were hard...holy moly

Anonymous said...

Abandon all hope.... LOL!! I have not passed this either and I'm hating it now. It gets to that point with some of these that seem impossible and your game ends very quickly. All I can think is to focus on creating color bombs and stripes to get through it, rather than looking at the bombs and jellies... there is no hope!!! LOL... and you need an AWFUL lot of luck besides, which means you'll play it 100+ times first...... ugh!

My Dog Training Center, LLC said...

Took a few tries. Moved the bombs out into the playing field so other candies held the places after I cleared out the jellies. Finished with a striped candy/color bomb combination.

Anonymous said...

Okay, here is how I finally beat the level. After losing all of your lives KING games will ask you to play another one of their games and if you do they will reward you with 5 lives and 5 lollipop hammers. I got the hammers and proceeded playing this level again. First I made a color bomb. Then I created a stripe candy. I then made combinations adding as many candies of the same color as the striped one created earlier. After combining the stripe with the color bomb it cleared most but not all jellies. I removed remaining jellies by making color combinations until I was down to my last move. I then used 2 of the lollipop hammers to destroy the final 2 jellies and mercifully the level was completed. GOOD LUCK!

Unknown said...

It just happened, I quit a few times when the bombs were all over the place, then I got a board in which ALL but one jelly contained purple. Made a color bomb to combine with purple, picked off the other color & then suddenly I was easily able to make 2 color bombs which fell right next to each other! The AI just gave me what I needed, about 4th try. Quit if impossible & wait to be able to do that. King must have made the level easier, to stop people from giving up.

Unknown said...

I combined the color bomb with a striped purple, don't know if that made a difference, wanted to be clear. I would say, stock-pile lives from your friends & wait to get a board with the same color in all jellies. It makes it do-able.

Anonymous said...

I agree, the key is making color bombs and striped candies. Work on bombs before trying to clear the side jellies. Once the jellies turn to numbered candies, it really limits the time you have to make bombs. This took me about 20 games, but I liked the challenge. PM

Anonymous said...

I concur 100%! I've been stuck on levels for days before, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. Not even excited to play anymore, feels more like a chore, and well, you know how most of us feel like doing chores...

Anonymous said...

This level is frustrating and not particularly fun! I have a feeling it's one of those that I'm just going to have to suffer through until I get a "lucky" board. I love to check this site so I can see if it's just me who is having trouble with a level. Misery loves company! ;) Wish me luck!!! I'm back at it!

Anonymous said...

Oh my god !!! almost sorry i read this thread now lol. i have only been stuck a few hours but i will keep at it for a while as i can see from some comments and the video it can be done .....with luck lol

Anonymous said...

The day after I posted this comment I managed to "get lucky" and got past it! I hate to tell ya, but the next level is almost as bad! I hate time bombs!!!

Anonymous said...

that was above and i just passed thr level. i combined 2 "jazzles" then 2 colour bombs side by side with a striped candy and was surprised when i passed ! to be honest wasnt really trying i had almost given up. next level looks as hard lol

anonymous said...

The hammers did it, there was no other way for me to finish.

Anonymous said...

I just finished this level. I got two color bombs next to each other TWICE. You obviously have to get the 2nd pair in 12 moves or the bombs will go off. Don't even try to get the jellies one-by-one, it's pointless.

Anonymous said...

It is not as hard as I thought, finished with two times chocolate balls, mix it with the same color of the color bomb. I was lucky the color bomb that appears is almost all the same color.

Graham842 said...

5th time I did it after failing on the first time then reading this post. Had 2 coloured bombs and the choice of blue and purple. Had lots of purple on the board and 4 in the slots on the side. After exploding I was left with one wich was dipatched in 3 moves. I can understand how this could be a very bad level and it certainly takes some care.

Anonymous said...

♥ Yep, color ball + Striped candy is the answer plus a lot of luck with the right kind of board. I got it after 10 lives.

Anonymous said...

Use the first 15+ moves to set up as many special candies as possible. Wait until you have 12 moves (or as close as possible) to begin to actually get rid of jelly. That way you don't have to "maintain" the bombs.

Anonymous said...

hmm, got 3 wrapped & striped and still cannot clear it, waiting for the dream board with same coloured bombs discussed above. Wish me luck. A bit of a stinker!!

Anonymous said...

Tried, tried & tried for days now. Hate this level. Cannot get even close to a board like in the video!!!

Anonymous said...

I had no idea how to do this but I got lucky and managed to make a color bomb in a few moves and a striped candy right on top of that. After that I had about 25 moves to clear 2 jellies on the same row and managed to finish JUST in time because a bomb was at 0 on literally my last move. This game is all about luck, I've realized. Just keep at it and eventually you will get lucky! :)

Anonymous said...

Guys, this level was SO hard to me that I was close of giving up (although stuck only for one day).
I tried with combining colored candies with striped once few times, with no success.
then I restarted again, I mixed a stripped blue candy with a multicolored one only ONCE - and I made it.

Tips: before you combine the multicolored ones with the stripped ones, try to count HOW MANY of the particular color are on each line (there are four lines - and if they are not enough of the particular color (in my case blue), try to get more so more blue candies will turn into stripped blue ones when you combine.
i did so, and managed this level :)

Anonymous said...

After a couple of attempts I came on here..when I saw the comments I thought...ok this ain't going to be easy. I struggled with making coloured bombs, and when I did struggled to match them with a stripe!! Finally after about two hours I got the right combo and like the comment above, I was sitting on a blue and continued to clear other moves to bring down more blue...which I did thankfully, exploded with about 12 moves left and I only had one jelly left which I hit. I also had many wrapped candies formed that I think helped when I exploded the bomb!! Stick with it..it's horrible but I've been stuck on others for a lot longer..the next level is OMG..!!

Anonymous said...

After reading this blog, it did help to concentrate on top only releasing bottom towards end.somehow I got the board that allowed stripe combos and i went so slow and got it out..reckon it took 100 lives and fortunately with an iphone by moving yr clock forward, a day or month, returning to game u hv 5 lives..but b4 u start playing go back and put yr clock on auto..you do this through settings. If you don't put your clock back to auto this won't work...and always get the game back up and be sure to see yr 5 lives..then revert back to auto on clock

wendy said...

I just passed this level, FINALLY...after about 100 tries!!! The only way I was able to pass this level was to get two chocolate balls right next to each orher. Good luck y'all!! :)

Anonymous said...

I read the hints and then got it first go. Concentrated on getting a coloured ball and some striped candies. Swapped the coloured ball with a striped candy, that took out most of the jelly then got rid of the rest using horizontal striped candies, worked well!

Anonymous said...

I have been stuck here for days, but once I read the comments here I rethought my 'strategy'. After focusing on making combos and not on popping the jelly, I beat it in 2 tries. I was totally stuck, but that really helped! One striped/package, one bomb/stripe, one bomb/candy (which activated a helpful stripey)!

Anonymous said...

Hopeless! This game used to be fun!

Anonymous said...

I was dreading this level after reading all of the comments. I got it on the second try, finished with 3 stars and the highest score in my group. I had several of the colors line up with the ends and then got one color bomb and one stripe and that did it. Good Luck. I am sure I just had a lucky board.

Anonymous said...

This level- seriously! It's a crock! Probably just what I NEED TO QUIT.

Anonymous said...

I was getting frustrated with this until I looked at the poster's tips here and it only took two color bomb and stripe combinations to clear the jelly for me. that was great advice - forget about the jelly, just make the combo's.

Anonymous said...

Two sprinkles and striped combination worked for me!

Gavin said...

I've just managed to complete this after being stuck on it for 2 days running. It's a bit of patience involved... the idea is to get a stripe + cookie combination.. then shortly afterwards get another stripe and cookie combination. Once all jelly has gone it'll auto complete.
Can be frustrating sometimes with the bombs ticking down and nothing you can do about it... that's where the patience comes in.

Anonymous said...

This is the worst game that was ever invented. King is a bunch of sadists. Word is going around to all to dump this ridiculous game and move on. Nobody even cares any more whether they finish or not. Games are for enjyment. This game is for people who have nothing better to do with their lives and enjoy being frustrated.

Anonymous said...

Can't get the sprinkles and stripes to work for me. This is now day 4. Double sprinkles don't work and neither do stripes and wrapped!! I am about DONE.

Anonymous said...

Frustrating level but it can be done, mostly with lots of luck and some skill. I finished the level with three stars and moves left by combining 5 candies to make a sprinkle then combing it with a striped candy. This move cleared the first level of jelly. Then, repeat and it will explode the rest of the jelly. Good luck!

Pauska said...

Thank you all for the good advice. I managed to get twice the brown + striped and that cleared the table :).

Judi said...

I did it after about 6 goes! Forget at the start about aiming for jellies; just concentrate on getting a few combos and then once that has happened pick off the last few jellies.

Anonymous said...

I was lucky with my blue stripe and sprinkle combo. By good fortune the 3 right side jellies had blue bombs and I was able to swap a blue candy into one of the left side jellies. More luck - this left blue candy turned into a vertical stripe for and after the combo I ended up with 1 jelly left, soon cleared. So I recommend matching your sprinkle candy with a stripe of the same colour as one or more of the bombs

Anonymous said...

I was beyond frustrated on this level. The KEY is to make the dark sprinkled candy bomb and mix it with a striped candy. Once you do this once or twice the level is a piece of cake. Just don't focus on any of the jellies at the beginning

Anonymous said...

I too am stuck on this level. I play a game for enjoyment but when it gets this frustrating it is time to move on to another game. So it is bye bye to candy crush for me.

Anonymous said...

Tip: the bombs drop whenever they are cleared so you can stop this by swapping a bomb sideways and putting a non-bomb sweet in it's place. e.g red bomb, blue candy, red candy, red candy. this stops the bombs dropping. Only a temporary respite, as you need to clear each jelly twice. That's where the sprinkles+stipes combo can clear the second jelly, if you are lucky.

If you hate the level, play on FB and use the fun-o-meter to record your dissatisfaction. Maybe they'll take notice, but don't hold your breath. They have mouths to feed...

After reading those of you who successfully completed 265, it took me 2 or 3 attempts. The secret is the color bombs. It took me 1 color bomb with a stripe and 2 separate color bombs firing on their own. Ignore the bombs.

Anonymous said...

I tried everything, including bombs with striped candies, striped candies with wrapped candies, etc etc. It is just boring. I ended up buying a hammer when I was left with just one jelly to smash. I considered mysself lucky to have only one jelly left.
No fun!

Susie said...

You really will get lucky if you persevere. A colour ball and a horizontal striped candy combo did it for me. Try and get as many combos going on as you can before you even clear any of the jelly, that way you are not fighting against the time bombs. Try not to clear any jelly until the final 12or13 moves. Good luck everyone!

Anonymous said...

Just completed 265 after about a dozen goes. Secret is to use coloured balls and look to see which two outer lines have the most colours that you can blitz with the ball. Keep on crushing!

Anonymous said...

What do you mean "make this combo and then that combo". I can't even get stripes or colored balls to TRY to make combos!! Once I get one ingredient , it blows up before I can even get the other! I have never even used all of my moves as a bomb always explodes before! This is impossible.

Anonymous said...

Ok, I followed someone's advice and concentrated on making combos and not on the bombs. I made 1 sparkle/stripe, 1 wrap/wrap got one vertical striped in one of the jellies on the right, a stripe/stripe & finally 1 horizontal stripe. 3 stars and high score. Whoo Hoo

Anonymous said...

This level is doable. Just don't let the bombs become your objective. Open up one side, address the bombs long enough to get the jelly, then go over to the other side & do the same!

Anonymous said...

Thanks for all the tips. Was finally able to get 3 stars by getting 3 or 4 bombs next to a stripe each time and a bomb next to the purple I needed for the last one. Don't know what I would do without all of you giving suggestions. Thanks so very much.

Unknown said...

Finally did it played other games got hammer..used color bomb and stripped bomb and the candy i stripped was available on both jelly walls..left with one ..hammered it..:P

Anonymous said...

Do NOT like this level!

Anonymous said...

This wasn't too bad once I read this blog. Abandon attempts to clear jelly on individual basis, go for the speckle ball striped candy combo. Once you have that lined up, make as many 3 candy combos of colors other than what you have lined up as a wrapped candy with the speckle ball. The idea is to populate the board with candies that will convert to wrapped once you mash the combo. I did this and had only two jellies left to clear and 12 moves to spare. Tried the two speckled balls together but I think the strategy I described is more effective.

Anonymous said...

If you think this level is hard, wait til you get to the next one! LOL!!!!!!!! Enjoy your game folks!

Anonymous said...

How many levels did I say "This is impossible"' yet here I am, saying it again. I haven't got it yet, but close with 7 taken out. Put the game aside for a couple of days, I found that helped in the past with the frustration. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

For all of you not passing this it's ok. I have thought a few of these levels were ridiculous thus far and they were. Yes the game seems to cheat, takes your moves, puts stripes and bombs on opposite ends of the board where they can't be used. Sh*% blows up for no reason.... I have literally spent $100's of dollars on this game in the past but no more! It all comes down to one thing.... Luck! It will be your turn to win eventually just hang in there, this too shall pass, if you laugh instead of throwing your pad (which I've done hahaha) it won't bother you as much, good luck all.... Literally

Tips:

Before going after the corners, you need to concentrate on getting the special bomb combinations and setting them off all at once.

If you get a multicolored candy ball, try and match it with a striped candy combination.

Two wrapped candies switched with each other will cause a huge explosion. Better yet, two multicolored candy bombs (rare) usually clear the entire board).

When you have a bomb, try to "switch it out" i.e you need to make a match where you pull the bomb out to the board and pull a color into the corner. This stops another bomb being dispensed.

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush
Hard so far.
Never seen so many bombs in my life-constantly being wiped out.
Only tip I have so far is the same as anon above. If you possibly can, move a bomb out from under the dispenser, switch with a plain colour and that will stop it dispensing any new bombs. This level self-generates a lot of matches though, so don't expect it to hold out for too long, but it does give a short break.
I think as always, combos will be needed.

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush

Horrendous, still on it. Got close a couple of times with one jelly to go.
Sometimes you are handed easier games than others, for sure.
All I can suggest is if you want think time before a move, take your hand off the mouse and the bomb times will stop ticking over, it gives you a chance to see if there are any good moves. Hasn't helped me a lot so far though.

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush.
Through it at last!
The system self-generated some colour bombs and striped candy, I combined them a couple of times and they wiped out a lot of jelly, plus put normal candy under the bomb machines. I then used a lollipop hammer to wipe out the last of the jellies.

My advice is to combine candies where you can, wait till the system sends you a good game where you can whittle it down to only one or two jellies. Watch how long is left on the bombs and if there is time, use a lollipop hammer. Got to love that free wheel.

HarHarHar said...

Here's how to beat this level. Honestly, it is pretty simple this way. Took me two tries after going this route.

I did not try to crush the jellies until about 15 moves left. I spent the first half of the level making all of the striped and wrapped candies possible. I never once made a bomb on the attempt that I beat it.

With about 15 moves left, I took out a couple of the jellies and worked my way to other jellies. Around 10 moves remaining, you don't have to worry about the formation of the bombs when you crush the jellies.

After attempting it this way, it only two me two tries to be successful. The first try I got 6 of 8 and only ran out of moves, no bombs went off.

Bill. said...

Two chocolate bombs did the trick.

Rita said...

Here's a tip: try to stay away from the two sides where the ticking time bombs drop because then you're always chasing them and the chocolate. Try to make your striped candies in the top or the middle. I actually won this level with this strategy. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

Helps a bit if you can replace bomb with candy after jeelies are cleared

Anonymous said...

Hey that's not fair...The video shows a lot easier board. The jellies are visible and have candies on it. On my board I don't see the jellies and that means I have to make it visible in two more moves and then a bomb falls out. So instead of two moves to clear a jelly I've to make FOUR moves!!!! So that means it makes it more impossible! I've had colored bomb mixed with striped, but still didn't work...so after be here stuck for ages...I'll quit, it's no fun anymore (and the (wrong) video makes me more angry!!!).

Anonymous said...

Totally impossible level. Must have used over 200 lives.Had one jelly left plus my 3 extra moves which would have done it and the game ended, still showing 3 moves.BORING.

Anonymous said...

I too was getting a bit frustrated.
what did help was as opportunity came, I would switch out a 'bomb' with a color tile. Then destroy the bomb.
on the "free spin" wheel got the fish. Created a color 'sprinkle' candy and sat a bit to figure out a plan.
first took the double layer midrange/chocolate off. Used some horizontal stripes to clear first level jelly.....then sent in the fish..who ate most of the remaining jelly. When the remaining 2 bombs happened to both be blue...killed them off with the sprinkle candy. Level passed on 1try.
I also always Google the level I am on and read the tips or strategy.
I.e. if on level 205, I google
candy crush level 205 strategy.
it helps a lot. Also switch devices.
if I am having trouble, I switch to laptop computer. Often it's easier for some reason...but not always.
hope this helps.

Anonymous said...

This level is absolutely doable, and without resorting to lollipop hammers, but forget about systematically clearing the jelly as the bombs will surely get you.
1. Check the board before starting and exit immediately (thus avoiding using a life) if it doesn't have immediate opportunities to create a color bomb. Then you need either a stripe or a second colour bomb to clear a serious amount of jelly, and probably to repeat the trick. You will get there in the end. It took me at least 20 attempts though.
2. Like others, I'm finding these higher levels much less fun and will give up soon. I like to treat the game as a logic puzzle, and the satisfaction comes from being able to see several moves ahead to achieve an objective. Spreading chocolate is ok, a few bombs are ok, but not both at the same time - just too distracting from the main task. But no other game ever get me interested even to 280 levels, so kudos to King software for that.

Thank you!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!! Your advice worked!!!! Get stocked up on as many bombs, stripes, and wrapped as possible before making moves. Had to use 1 hammer (thank you Wheel) to clear last jelly. You guys are wonderful. Now on to the next 'fun' 266! Will check out your advice before starting. All take care -- I need you.
