Hints and Tips for level 275 Candy Crush Saga
Original video which may still be on mobiles.

Here are tips from an anonymous player.. Thank you.

I just beat this level! The trick is to allow the chocolate to grow around the two in the corner to "shield" the bombs from falling.
Work on getting each side cleared of Jelly while making sure to not make any moves that will blow up the chocolates in the two top corners.
If you do blow them up, you have to get lucky enough for a chocolate to grow back there or switch it with a regular candy.
Once you have almost all the jelly removed you need to be lucky enough to get a multicoloured candy matched with a stripe candy and hope for the best.
I was stuck for about a week but got lucky enough to have everything work in my favour. Good Luck!

How do you complete level 275. I have played over 100 games and no matter how careful I am to steer clear of the two corners where the bombs are, they always open up from a cascade due to playing near the bottom. I have managed to get this far without using boosters but this level is impossible. Help.

Anonymous said...

I'm stuck at the same place and for the same reason. I will say that I inadvertently noticed that if you replace the bomb with another ball so that the bomb is part of the 3-piece match and another piece takes it's place in the corner they will stop replicating, but with only 3 moves before it goes off it's near impossible to set up, in an upper corner, being blind to what falls next. Grrrr....

This round is no fun. The way it is set up, it requires no skill, just luck.

Anonymous said...

When you get close to having all jellies cleared, use a multi- colored candy combined with a striped one and wipe out the rest of the board.

Unknown said...

I enjoyed playing this game until this level. It's now utterly ridiculous and unfair. I'm done. At least make it doable!

Anonymous said...

I just completed this level without boosters, and the way that I did it was to avoid the corners at all cost. When you DO release a bomb in the corner, pull it out as much as you can and get rid of it and a bomb will not appear again in its place. Hope this helps! :-)

Anonymous said...

I think this level has done me in. I don't mind a challenge but at least make it doable

Anonymous said...

Yep. I think I'm done too. I am happy that I got this far.... There were times I never thought I'd get into the triple digits. But not all games are meant to be beaten I guess, and this is a perfect example of that. Bye Bye CCS!!!

Anonymous said...

this level is just stupid its the biggest con into getting people to pay like $2098402347280 for stupid lives as its sooo impossible to complete. ( mind you the smart ones know how to get free lives ) victory will be mine!

Anonymous said...

It is pure luck to clear this board. I got lucky enough to get two chocolate balls on top of one another, then worked on the jellies praying my lucky set up would not get bashed. Once the corner bombed appeared, I combined the chocolate balls. Luckily I had enough jellies cleared before I ignited the chocolate balls. Good luck with this board.

Anonymous said...

This level isn't nearly as bad as some of the other 'luck' based levels previously (208 springs to mind). Yes you do have to be a bit lucky but if you use the right strategies, 275 isn't as hard as it seems. Avoid the top chocolates and jellies immediately next to it, go for the jellies below. Decrease the chances of accidentally shattering the chocs shielding the bombs as much as possible by avoiding pairs of aligned candies on the top row. Stem the growth of chocolates by breaking a few once every few moves, every move you break a choc, it doesn't grow. Be careful with combos until you get to the last few jellies...You have plenty of moves to play with so you can do this!

Constantine Markellos said...

Sorry gang, was down to 6 moves and one jelly. At this point the board got colder than Pluto with moves. So down to one move, torture or lollipop. Sucker won. I had busted both jellies at different times, and was able to plug the hole by moving the jellies out by making a combo along the horizontal axis. I figured that was all the luck the game was going to give me. BTW, the computer recommended moves, where do they come from? If I followed those moves, I'd still be on level 2. Dean

Anonymous said...

I've been on this level for a week and I'm just about done w/this game! It's a total set up. I was down to my last square a few times and had many moves left and wouldn't you know, there weren't any plays to be made at all! Ridiculous! You don't fool me King.com....you're game is so rigged it's not even funny! Bye Bye Candy Crush...Thank god I didn't waste any of my hard earned money on you!

Anonymous said...

I hate this level!!!

Anonymous said...

So do I, frustrating.

Anonymous said...

I agree with previous comments, even the fish expose the bombs, no help at all, give us a break King

Ryan Brennan said...

There is bugs in this level. I cleared all jellies and never touched the bombs with 8 moves to go and it said I had one left. I defiantly didn't have any left. Cleared them all and got 64/65. It's a fix to get you to buy boosters. I never buy any boosters. There has been levels i was on for two weeks. I don't mind waiting but fix the bugs!

Anonymous said...

Actually I've detested most of the levels in Holiday Hut! What was an enjoyable and fun game at times has become an exercise in frustration and futility! Unfortunately, I've come this far and just want to finish the stupid game. There should be a warning after the Candy Crush commercials on TV!

Ryan Brennan said...

Finally got it. It was frustrating but don't give up. Create colour bombs when u have the chance. I was down to 15 jellies left and combined a colour bomb with a striped sweet. And then the moved after the same again. This level is all luck of the board. Good luck.

P.s. don't buy boosters. Never buy boosters.

Anonymous said...

Me too - finally got it. Thanks to all the tips above.- read them!! Patience is also required. Dont play when your tired. Your frustration will be your downfall. Keep your wits about you. You have been through many bad levels to get to here. Your checking this site out because your near the end of your thether. hang tough and your get there. Also - are you learning the lessons they are teaching you - gaining skills and then when you have all that mastered - you also need the bit of luck. Coloured bomb with strips are your friend near the end.

Jinger Kat said...

Just got here but already know it'll be a while!!!

Anonymous said...

I did it! I tried the level a couple of times and decided to come here because it seemed impossible. I read all your takes and ideas went back in, took my time and beat it! Thanks everyone!

Anonymous said...

this is so frustrating. just when I got a chocolate square to come and cover the bomb, the game said the bomb exploded and then it froze. grrrrr

Anonymous said...

this level sucks.
even staying away from the upper corners, still the bombs come out of a cascade,

then you have only 3 clicks over.

this level is sh........

Anonymous said...

This level hangs my phone frequently - if the chocolate grows over the bomb as it counts down to zero I have to reboot the phone. It is a very frustrating level in many ways but so were some of the earlier ones.

Anonymous said...

If your iphone and facebook cancies are linked -- delete candycrush from iphone. reinstall. reconnect to facebook. Voila, you're at 276. Yes, it feels like cheating, but....

llyman said...

Mine does this too! I hate THIS LEVEL

llyman said...

I am so desperate, I tried this.. but it started me right back at 275. Bummer... I was excited that it would work!

Anonymous said...

Thanks for your comments - they helped me win this level. Keep your top corners protected until the end. Releasing fish may only cause you to expose the 3 bombs in the corner too soon. Once I followed the tips provided, I won 2 games later. PM

karen underwood said...

This level sucks. You can not always protect the top corners and 3 moves is NOT enough when the bombs appear. Sort it out

Anonymous said...

My tablet did it last night.. I kept rebooting until I figured out I could just force close the app. Still frustrating, but better than having to reboot the whole thing

Anonymous said...

After about a week and a half, and over 200 lives, I don't know what I did, or how I did it, but I finally got through this very difficult level. ALL of the levels are doable, it just takes patience and persistence!! Oh, and I didn't need the use of the chocolate balls...it's just the way I worked the board. GOOD LUCK!!

Lisa Williams said...

Completely agree. Ugh!!

Anonymous said...

This level was so easy... Why is everyone complaining so much?

Anonymous said...

Using the extra moves friends send you seems to guarantee that particular game will end within 30 seconds, they are always wasted! Fish with stripes will always uncover a bomb. Those fish are just a pain. Frustrated, very frustrated with these bombs you really have NO chance of clearing. Just want to move on to a more fun level, but can't.

cyradis said...

oh you never finish the game, they keep making new boards. Sorry!

Carlz said...

I just finished this level after 4 days. It was quite frustrating but I discovered that if you can, do all the jellies except the ones around the bombs of course. Leave the fish til last if you can and they will target the remaining jellies, so you won't have any bombs drop til the very end! That's how I managed if afte all these lives!

Anonymous said...

Thank you Anonymous for your most valuable tips. Following your advice, I have just passed this difficult level after two attempts. :D

Anonymous said...

I haven't cleared it yet, but after about 30 or so tries, I've twice gotten down to only one jelly remaining. With a little luck of the right color popping up at the right time, I could have cleared either of those times. It's doable, but challenging.

Anonymous said...

Not too bad...I got it cleared after another 20-ish tries, and with quite a few moves left (though, if my final combo of a fish w/ a striped candy hadn't cleared the last couple spots, I'd have been doomed by the bombs). It was a tough one, but Level 213 took me longer.

Anonymous said...

If I had a dollar for every level BEFORE 275 someone said that, I'd have at least $100, which isn't a lot, but I'll take it. I'm stuck on this level now, but I'll move on. We DID finish 274 levels to get here!

Anonymous said...

SERIOUSLY?!?! ANOTHER sucky level! I don't like the time bombs, ever, but 3 seconds... in the corner... where you can't get to it? UGH! Okay... back at it....

may said...

I played like almost ten times before I realized it was doable. I realized it when I ran out of move and I had one or two jellies left. After that, a couple more tries and I passed! with one star though. It actually took less tries to complete than some awful levels before this.

Anonymous said...

Any level with the timed bombs is just stupid and not fun...why not just make all the levels timed...this is just not fun anymore...this game will be like angry birds...very popular then fall off the face of the earth

Becca said...

Wasn't sure I'd ever get it. Near the end, it's pure luck. I "saved" my chocolate ball and managed to get a striped next to it. I carefully cleared as much jelly as I could (it always seemed to work better starting closer to the middle or bottom and staying just as far away from the color bombs as possible). Someone here mentioned letting the melting chocolate cover the space next to the color bombs...and that's a GREAT idea. Once I had as many of the other jellies cleared as I could, I used the ball and striped combo to make other striped and it took out all but three jellies. It was pure luck that those had the right colors next to them so I could clear them in three moves...right before the bomb would have exploded. Took me a week of playing about 20-25 games a day to pass this one. Once you do...take heart. Level 276 is simple...no chocolate, no bombs and a large screen with lots of opportunity to make great combinations. Passed it on the first try.

Anonymous said...

YAY!!!! I finally completed this level! I am SO RELIEVED! As others have said... play as close to the middle as possible. Once you have at least two chocolate squares in the top corners, you have room to pick away at the edges a little bit. Any time your little fishies go flying, it helps to pray that they don't hit the squares next to the time bombs! I finally got lucky with a chocolate ball at the end. Thankful to hear that the next level is easy breezy. Good luck, friends!!!

Anonymous said...

Ridiculous! At least I am smart enough NOT to spend money on lives and boosters. Convinced the toughness of these levels is to take your cash!

Anonymous said...

Great tip. thanks. This is one evil level :(

Anonymous said...

I've passed this level after a couple of days (level 208 is the one that had me for longest!) The thing that helped me was to avoid breaking the top chocolate if possible BUT then when it accidently got broken and I couldn't match the bomb out I just ensured that NONE of my following 3 moves broke any of the chocolate on the board, and the chocolate re-grew over the bomb. On the time that I passed the level this occurred 3 times!

Anonymous said...

Finally passed this level after stuck for 4 days. It is hard, but not that bad. Key: Make chocolate ball and stripe (safe it for last minutes), meanwhile try to clear up the jelly as many as possible, be carefull not to open the color bomb. Combine the ball and the stripe at the last few moves, if you are lucky it will clear all up or maybe just left few pieces of jelly. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

I agree this level makes you want to quit playing altogether! I dont mind them getting difficult but this ones insane. This level has taken all the fun out of candy crush for me.

Anonymous said...

After reading the tips above it toko me 1 game to make it. Stay Always from top corners and play in the middle

Anonymous said...

Start in the middle and let the chocolate build up around the top corners to protect the bombs. Then pop as many candies at least once, and work the sides, if you clear the chocolate protecting the bombs in the corners, work the other side to let the chocolate build up again. Keep the fish for the end as these will clear candies hard to get in corners. Set up a multi-coloured candy and striped candy towards the end and pray :D

♥ OMG! This level is evil! Took me 2 days and many many lives. The Candy Crush Goddess finally granted me a good board!! At one point the timed bomb was revealed then the chocolate covered it saving me! I continued with a color ball + Stripe and finished it. What a miracle! You truly need a miracle with this level. The feeling of completing it is just out of this world.

Anonymous said...

i,ve got a tip if you somehow get a colourbomb and a striped together save it until the very and try to leave the fish too when you have cleared most of the jelly unleash colourbomb and striped that wil take uit the rest(i had to clear one easy jelly though)

Anonymous said...

I agree... so many levels seem impossible and then all of a sudden it works. I just got to this level and can tell I'm going to be here awhile... unless luck kicks in. I have lost of zeal with so many back to back levels like this one. I'm playing this less and less all the time. Guess I'm kicking the addiction slowly. lol

Anonymous said...

I completed this twice but it won't let me continue saying that I have to get better scores or more stars. Is this rigged?

Anonymous said...

Can someone please tell me why do I have to keep on playing 275 until I get more points and/ or more stars in order to move to a higher level? I already have 2 stars with scores of more than 150,000. I completed this 3 times already. This is so frustrating. Pls help!!

Anonymous said...

I am done. Been stuck here for days. Doesn't matter what I do, even if I strictly work the center only, something exposes a bomb. This game is no longer fun. CYA!!

Dawn said...

Finally beat this level, cascades are the enemy!! Work from bottom then middle i saved the bomb made by six row until the end then blasted final boxes. No powerups needed but alot of patience!!

Anonymous said...

I just finished this hell of a level what a relief!
The most helpful tips were:
start eliminating jelly from the bottom going up.
Do not let chocolate block the topmost row as your candies will stop coming down.
Form a wrapped + stripped combo in the middle w/o hitting the bombs.
Do not eliminate the chocolate covering the bombs.
Never use a chocolate + stripped combo because it will always expose the bombs!
Use the fishes and chocolates for last minute jelly elimination .
If you have exposed the bombs just restart. New bombs just keep on falling down there.

LEI

Anonymous said...

I took a lot of all your advice and I just got through it - stay in the centre, avoid the fish, try and get the chocolate to stay around the 2 top bombs and moved a bomb to make the three in a row. Worked a treat - thanks all.

R. said...

I finally completed this level. I stayed away from the top corners as much as I could, while still breaking chocolate to avoid it completely blocking the top.

With maybe 7 jellies left, I swapped a chocolate freckle thing with a fish and it released a series of fish that targeted the remaining jellies. I was never so relieved. I hope this tip helps someone!

RacingRobin said...

Well King games. You finally got me at level 275. I can't possibly attempt any more lives. Why in the world would you make a level that is very nearly impossible to accomplish? No matter how hard I try to avoid those 3 bloody second bombs going off I can't do it! I've been trying way too long. There have been some tough levels but this one is the worst. I so wanted to make it to the end. Way to go. So sorry I've wasted so much time on this game.

Bartje said...

Completed this level 13th time I tried, just leave 2 blocks chocolate on top corners, then clear out at least 1 layer of gelatine on each block, and all gelatine on the middle+bottom (I liked to use striped+wrapped combo).
For clearing gelatine on the tiles next to the corners you can use the fishes, they will clear the gelatine, but won't destroy the chocolate on the adjacent tiles!

Anonymous said...

beyond a joke - ridiculous

Anonymous said...

Was able to do it with the advice in the comments. You've got lots of moves. In the beginning clear as little as possible. Stay in the middle. Then get a chocolate ball and keep it until near the end. After reading the comments, I was able to clear this level using only a set of lives. Thanks all.

Anonymous said...

This wasn't too bad, took me about 15 tries. The advice here is good, just be patient and think about each move.

Anonymous said...

I can't pass it, but it's entirely luck. If the fish don't set off the bombs, a chain reaction does. I understand the suggestion about letting the chocolate cover it, but I can't control when the chocolate covers the corners. I'm very frustrated and have really dropped off playing this game because of this level!! I can't even figure out a boost to buy that would help....

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the tips! I finally made it through this level. I agree it was evil!!!

shelly said...

phew! just finished it. I took the advice from above (thanks so much) but did something a little different to others at the end. put a freckle (coloured ball from six pieces) with a fish. the fish will zap some and then change colours and zap others - was enough for me to clear the board. good luck all - it is doable but a hard level for sure.

Leslie said...

Like others have said before me, LUCK! I was disgusted with this level. Second life in this morning and I really don't know how I beat it. I kept one bomb under chocolate. The other I got lucky and was able to move it out of the corner, for good! That left more freedom to blow stuff up. I guess that helped. In a blink, I had one jelly and 3 moves on the bomb. 2 moves and boom! Now it is Monday morning and no one is on-line to give me tickets to cross the bridge. Very predictable.

Anonymous said...

They just made it easier, the top corners now need to be "bashed" three times, not once, and the bomb has 8 moves not 3.

I had been stuck here for 2 weeks and then once they changed the set up I passed first time

Anonymous said...

I've read all the comments but to no avail. This is the level that has seemingly broke my addiction at least. I'm done, because it is just not fun any more ):

Anonymous said...

After 2 weeks and more frustration than I care to admit, I deleted candy crush. 275 is impossible. Every time I got close, a bomb would explode after 2 tries. Not worth the aggrevation. Sorry king but this level sucks.

Shawn said...

It took me tow hours and 20+ tries to pass this level.
It's hard but fun!

Anonymous said...

I recommend that if you have a Facebook page you go there to complete this level. I was really struggling on my iPhone to pass it, went to fb to keep trying and passed it within a few tries. The big difference is that the bombs are an 8 count instead of 3 which is very helpful when paired with the other suggestions for passing the level!

Anonymous said...

I'm still trying to pass this level. But I do agree with some of the other people. I think if I'm ever going to get past this level it will be through Facebook. Besides the bombs having more time. Instead of the top corners being covered in chocolate, they are "bricks" (I don't know the term). It doesn't automatically uncover the bomb if you clear near the top corner. I'm not giving up! I will eventually pass this level! (I HOPE!)

Anonymous said...

Read.the comments after losing my first five lives and waiting to regenerate. Thought I'd be here for days but it's not that hard. Need to go slow and be careful. Leave the chocolate in the corners alone. Indeed let some more chocolate grow around them the help provide a cushion against cascades. Clear slowly and methodically. Release the fish without combining them with any special candies - they don't help much. Set-up a chocolate ball and set it off with a striped candy when you've cleared as much as you can. It was a surprise that I made it during the turn I did. Didn't think I had cleared enough before I had to release the chcoclate ball or let the bombs explode but I was fine. Took me about 15 tries. Patience!

skyserene said...

I've read just about every post on how to pass this level, on trying many many times I finally did it but not quite as I expected. As posted by many others you do need to keep the chocolate corners protected by trying not to touch the chocolate beside it. I passed it by going very slowly, considering each move so that anything I did, didn't send of a reaction that took the corner chocolate out. If in the event it does don't worry try again in the next attempt. Slowly remove every jelly, I was able to do this being lucky also that the fish didn't damage my corners. Once every jelly was done the chocolate was still in those corners but I passed the level. I never used a chocolate ball, only used 3 stripes and one with a wrapped candy early on in the game. Every level has a trick to it, this level is hard but easy if you follow these guidelines. I played it hard for 2 weeks until I simplified it in my mind. Good luck everyone.

Anonymous said...

After a couple tries, I came here and thought to myself, after reading comments, how hard this level was going to be. Very next try I made it! Just let chocolate fill the top by clearing sides and middle when possible, don't do combos till the end, it will open up those 3 move bombs and then it's pretty much over. Good luck!

This episode has been the least enjoyable only one game away from the next episode is what has kept me going hoping that the next episode is more enjoyable ,I've tried everything and took the advice from fellow posters but can't clear all the jelly ,those wee bombs are deadly ..I wait patiently for a miracle because there's no way I'm clearing this level in the near future .

I finished level 275 on candy crush on the I phone 5.
I can honestly say that Holiday Fun was far from fun.
This chapter of games are very evil very evil. The creators of this level are Evil. It is like they designed this level to only let you come close to winning every 50 tries or so and then missing it by 1 jelly. Just to wear a person down hoping to force us to pay the 99 cents for 5 extra moves. Time to call it quits since I am at the end of chapter of no fun holiday fun. It is good bye for me until the winter. Good luck to everyone. Be assured the comments for all the levels are right on target. You can check ahead of time before playing any level and know what you are up against based on the number of comments. What's wrong with consistency of difficulty for all levels?

Wow 275 was a killer, each time I was close the bombs will go. After trying and trying, the only solution for me was having two sprinkled chocolates together. First wait till you get out as much as you can before letting them off.
Good luck

Anonymous said...

I was able to clear this round after a couple of days trying, not as long as I had feared. :)

The trick is to clear as much of the board as you can without popping either of the two corner chocolates. At the same time, try to have a power move set up and save it for later. When you feel you have cleared as much of the jellies from the board as you can, use the power move (especially, if you can, the sprinkled ball and stripe), and hope for the best. If you're left with just one jelly, hope you can clear if within 3 moves. That's how I cleared the level, on the very last move before the bombs went off.

Anonymous said...

Go for the centre jellies and nick the sides now and then. Watch the top left and right corners and if there is a possible combo on the cards try to drop one of them .Hope it helps a touch and good luck.

Anonymous said...

Same here, can't be bothered any more. Too much luck needed in tg level

Anonymous said...

I hate this level - been on it for more than a month now. I was sure I had it done and the F&*%ing game went into melt down - just as well I have a frozen shoulder or my pc would have been through a wall or window.

Anonymous said...

Not sure if this is the hardest level so far. I don't think it is, but I do think this level is horrendous...

Anonymous said...

I hate this level, but i can't stop playing it. I spent almost 100 lives already, so frustrating :(

Anonymous said...

The level is a challenge. The rub is the 2 bombs w/very shot fuses that appear in the upper corners if you are not careful. The solution I found is to avoid the upper corners and fight my candy crush instincts by playing "small." No special combos for the 1st 35-40 moves. Every time I used a special w/a fishy I lost the game. Use simple 3 candy combos along the middle & lower portions of the board to clear the jellys & keep the chocolates at bay. If you pay attention & get a little lucky you'll end up w/around 10 moves left w/of releasing the bombs. Now it's time for mass destruction. I used sprinkle candy w/a stripey on move 43 & had it beat by move 45. Challenge yourself to lose the level by running out of moves instead of losing to the bombs. Learn this lesson & you'll be well on you way to a victory. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

Someone on here mentioned that the fish will clear the jelly but not the chocolate, and this is not the case; they clear both, so it's best to not release them early on. I made that mistake and they cleared one of the corner chocolates I was trying to leave :-(

Anonymous said...

I just beat this level, no boosters. Leave the top corner until she absolute last ones. If they open up by falling candy do anything to replace the bomb with a candy. Leave the fish on the bottom till the end. Clear everything else. When you have maybe 5 jelly to clear. Combine a fish with a striped candy. You may need 2 of them, fish and stipe candy at the end. Follow the instructions and some luck.

Anonymous said...

The higher the level you get the more challenging and boring this game gets! The timed bombs are a bit ridiculous to deal with CONSTANTLY as you go through the levels. Candy crush needs to cut out the bombs or at least make it more possible to win without having to play each game 200 times!

Leigh Ann said...

My fish won't got anywhere near the bombs. Even when I had a chocolate bomb/striped fish combo that whole school of little spotted fish steered clear of the bomb.

Leigh Ann said...

"I recommend that if you have a Facebook page you go there to complete this level .... The big difference is that the bombs are an 8 count instead of 3 which is very helpful when paired with the other suggestions for passing the level! "

Someone must have read this blog. The bombs on FB are only three moves now.

Leigh Ann said...

I did it. The fish were no help! I broke as much jelly as I could staying away from the corners and had a chocolate bomb and a stripey next to each other that I reserved and when I had just a few jellies left I went for it. The next episode better be better.

Anonymous said...

Just finally passed this round. Clear the middle n chocolate growing sides with a wrapper candy n stripe. If you cant get the sparkle candy wait n get the wrapper with a stripe for the last corners. Its tough it can be done I was stuck on other levels far longer then this one...now I need a train ticket wahoo

Matt said...

How many levels have you passed that somebody (maybe even yourself) said was hopelessly impossible? And yet you're here. I haven't beat it yet, but I've gotten 63 out of 65 jellies twice so I know it can be done Yes, no matter how careful you are, sometimes those upper bombs are going to pop out too early, and then you're toast. Still, with 50 moves to play with, I think this is an entertaining level. (Now ask me if I'll feel that way in a WEEK...)

Anonymous said...

I read all the tips then cleared the level the same day. Clear the center, avoid the upper extreme chocolate corners, then invoke a series of striped candies (chocolate with a stripe if you're lucky).

Anonymous said...

Finally after don't ask me how much time (less than a week), I passed this unholy level, managed to beat the level on the very same move which the bomb was going to explode.

Note: The hardest level ever is still the Level 147 (DAT stupid anchor-shaped thing and those damned bombs).

Anonymous said...

Clear out the center and lower part of the board, but WAIT until the very end to use the booster fish.
Disco ball & stripe combo is very effective here, but may trigger the 2 bombs at the top. The bombs are hard to neutralize because they explode with just 3 moves, but they often get covered back up with chocolate, so you can get back to working on the board.

2 months and still trying... Getting to the point where I don't play now as I get so frustrated.... Hmmmm no skill just luck needed and that's something I don't get often :-( giving it a few more try's and I'm deleting the app... Was fun, it's now been ruined.

Problem in this stage and previous all is; in order to clear you have to be error free from the very start can't do. Luck does work but still when stage ends you have 3 or 4 jellies to clear. Last if u have that boring and Whoo option than atleast 90% have selected Boring for this stage, why didn't that stage is out or changed or bombs on just single side. Sucks.

What a boring level. My last two games have exploded a bomb on the FIRST move even though I was working on the bottom row in the middle. There is NO way to get rid of bombs in 3 moves when the bomb is in the corner. Couldn't King have at least given us a chance by making the bombs explode in 10 or even 5? I suppose I'll eventually get lucky but I certainly play A LOT less when my lives are over in seconds. Makes me realize there are other things to do in life. I suspect this is not what King wants however.

Well I finally got a good board and passed. All I can say is what everyone else has said - be extremely careful to leave the bombs in the corners covered till the game is nearly over and it's hard to decide when that is. Build up as many special candies as you can and try to keep from using them as long as possible. Try to save some fish till the end. And having said all that it still is a matter of luck. I have to say on the board I won I did not have any sprinkle balls - just wrapped and stripped and some fish. Good luck.

My sister in law and i loved this game until this level. We have been stuck on this level for TWO WEEKS now and have on gotton close to beating it once. THIS IS SOME BS!!!!

Anonymous said...

This is close to the worst level yet! I was on it so long I was SERIOUSLY giving up. I'm not one to threaten, but I hated this level. No fun at all. So, I did what I said I WOULD NOT do, and that's when I got down to 63/65, I bought my way out. It was worth it tho, because even tho I haven't passed the next level, it is better than this one! Hang in there.

This level is very hard but doable. You must protect the bombs with chocolate until the very end or your toast. 3 moves is just not enough to get rid of them unless you are very lucky. Play very very slow and carefully. I have not beaten it yet, but have come close a couple of times. Waiting for my lucky board!

Anonymous said...

Thanks to previous posters...I thought I was going to be here for weeks, but I followed everyone's advice, and had a bit of luck! You definitely need to keep those corners covered, and mixing the sprinkles ball with a striped candy definitely did the trick. I had a bit of luck mixing a striped with a fish, and then a wrapped and striped came together, and voila, I was done. Good luck!!

Rarely manage 10 moves without bombs exploding no matter what I try. Worst kind of level, impossible and so short your lives are gone instantly. Maybe it'll break the addiction, I don't even want to play it.

really hard....those darn bombs!

The most obvious tip for this level is to avoid clearing the chocolate in the upper corners until near the end. If they clear inadvertently, and you have more than five moves left, you might as well hit the "quit" button because anything else is a waste of time. The one exception is if you can clear the bomb by swapping it with a regular candy. The bombs have very short fuses (two or three moves), and they keep coming. Thus, it becomes impossible to clear jelly. Also avoid striped/sparkly combos because they will inevitably expose the bombs. Stripped/wrapped combos are good as long as they can be kept away from clearing the chocolate in the upper corners. I got this level on the fifteenth try, but with some luck. I exposed a bomb, but could swap it out with a regular candy and then chocolate covered it again. The last move to clear jelly was a vertical blaster that got the blocking chocolate int he other corner. I was uncertain if there were any jelly left under other chocolate, but, based on what others had said, I was glad to see "Sugar Crush" come up. Thank god this awful series of episodes with the bombs is finished, but what horrors await in the next fifteen?

As I have said before… I don't mind a challenge, but some levels are plain sadistic. I have spent time and money to buy boosters to get this far… and this is not a matter of patience or skill, just luck. Plus the bombs in general are mind shattering and nerve wrecking. Good by Candy Crush. You are not getting any more money from me, it's unfair and developed by people who seem to hate us.

cherylcandyrush here.

Plain sadistic, this level.

Watch out for the op left and right corners and on NO ACCOUNT clear them, because those are bomb droppers. And not just any bombs. They are stuck in the one spot at the top, with only 3 moves to clear them. If you do clear them, another drops and same deal-3 moves. Game over.

I suppose you could try for a bomb swap with a plain candy and that would block the bomb fan, but you would have to get lucky.

Even avoiding making a match-each time the system makes one ad exposes a bomb. Let the chocolate grow there if you can and avoid matches, no matter how tempting.

I do not care for bombs, specially these 3 move ones. This ould be my waterloo.

After 2 weeks-- had one move left and one jelly--got the jelly BUT the bomb went to ZERO and I lost. So a bomb at 1--with 1 move left is still not good enough.

I´m working on this level and I enjoy it, although I haven´t yet succeeded but I know I will eventually.
I have noticed that there are basically two types of commentators, the optimistic-constructive-helpful ones and the complainers-lamentators.
I definately seek the first group, the second can leave CCS and lick their wounds somewhere else

Hi!I complete the level 275 but the game does not appear my friends in order to ask them help and take the ticket to the next level. Any help?
Thank you

Eindelijk - ik ben er doorheen..... Weekje ergeren moet je er voor over hebben. Grijp de uitdaging om level 275 te overwinnen. Succes!

c/candycrush here.
It's a hard level, for a lot of reasons but partly because as the choc spreads, you can't always remember if there was a jelly under it on not.
My best advice is to watch this closely and note what is cleared. If you get down to only a few visible jellies left AND you know there is none under the chocs, then use a lolly hammer if you have enough moves left. Just double check the jellies are not double jellies.
This is how I got through. I had about 7 moves left and 4 jellies.
Smashed them all. Now they have the free daily spin you can collect lolly hammers over time. This is one level where it is worth using a couple.

I hate this level and feel ripped off with each game played - sometimes only 2 or 3 moves, even strategically avoiding the 2 corners - but one is randomly hit, then the bomb goes off and the game's over - no fun!! I play at least 50 games per day (probably more), closest 60/65, seems impossible although some obviously have gotten through it. I'm about to give CC away - refuse to pay for boosters and luck just isn't coming my way!! No longer is CC enjoyable.

Stick to the middle until you have a lot of chocolate around the top corners for protection. Took a while but finally managed to do it. Tricky level. Hang in there. 56

Hardest level I've yet encountered. Came so close to just quitting the game altogether. I guess it really only took 3 or 4 days and maybe 50-100 games, but I never even came close until I finally beat it, so it seemed hopeless. In the end, I won by triggering a color-bomb against a striped candy when I was maybe 25 or 30 moves in and had cleared all the obvious stuff from the center of the board, then accidentally released one of the 3-move bombs. Since the game was about to end, I triggered the colour bomb-striped candy combo and hoped for the best. It cleared everything. Thank goodness, I hate this level.

This level will make me give up Candy Crush for good. What an absolute joke. I know it is not meant to be easy but this is ridiculous, no skill required really just pure luck. Money grabbers.

im seamie walsh, i dont need to be anonymous, i like games that are fair but this level of candy crush is not and it its a bad reference for its makers , i quit and i wont be back

Anonymous said...

as folks have said above it is doable - took me 3 attempts and that was it. Try and leave the corners until the end and also the 3 fish at the bottom - use the fish when only got those 2 corners left.

I have completed level 275 with 3 stars but it won't let me play any further, it just says soon there will be more levels to enjoy and until then replay games you have already played?? I have never bought any boosters or lives to complete any of the levels. Is this the reason it is not allowing me to go any further??

Anonymous said...

Try updating the software because there are over 400 levels. I made it to 5 jellys and consider that a victory!

Anonymous said...

This is the end of the line for me. No matter how careful I am to avoid the top corners something happens to uncover the bombs, usually a cascade. I've not even come close to success. This level is ridiculous and I will not pay to move on. Well done King, I wonder how many other players you have lost here. Quite a lot I reckon. Bye bye

Anonymous said...

Don't give up! i finally finished this level, i followed the advice by others given above, no boosters were used. my strategy was making as many stripes in both directions and a chocolate bomb, clearing as many of the jelly's as possible, trying not to show the bombs and waiting until there were no more moves then setting off the bomb and stripes, if you are lucky it clears most of the jelly and you can clear the rest within the 3 moves the bombs give you! clear the middle first and let the chocolate protect as long as possible! clear the bottom before the top!! good luck!

Anonymous said...

so. my average is 4 moves before dying on this level.

doesn't matter what I seem to do, I move ANYTHING, it's bound to cascade and free up a b-s bomb... dead in 3 .

I've tried probably 200 times?
closest I've gotten was within about 1 to clear,

this is the most boring level I've played yet.
takes no skill, no thought, just absolute luck, and LOTS of it.

I've followed all the advice in here, and still cant get close.

I finally beat this level after many many weeks playing and very frustrated. Follow the tips, try to keep to the center, and bottom as much as possible to keep from getting the bombs exposed. In the end, I think as usual, it was pure luck that gave me a bunch of stripes together that just about cleared the board.

The key is playing this on a computer and NOT a phone or tablet. The bombs, when played on a computer through Facebook, have 8 moves, not 3.

Finally did it! The tips on
here helped me and I was about to give up. I tried tips from other sites that did not work! I started in the middle and finished it off with a striped candy and a fish! I got through it in about 7 tries! Thanks:)

I am done. Games are for enjoyment not total frustration. Thanks Candy Crush for taking a fun game and ruining it with such ridiculous difficulty. Goodbye.

I have yet to beat this level but here is the trick - DO NOT PLAY ON YOUR PHONE.

The bombs have an 8 move fuse on the computer version.

It's a complete waste of your time to keep trying this level on your phone.
