Very tricky level. This took me a couple of days and dozens of tries to complete. I can't see there is any way to clear the boards without smashing the cake as early as possible leaving plenty of moves to clear the jelly.

When the cake has gone and the boards shaken, try to get combos. I was lucky enough to get a striped/colour bomb combo.

I completed the level on my very last move and was very pleased to do so.

There seems to be a bug on the Android version. Any combo I make on the right side of the board does not seem to clear the pizza nor the licorice. Any one else has the same experience on the Android?

A very difficult level because the possible moves are just NOT there. You can waste a dozen consecutive moves of 3 combos that do nothing...just because there is nothing else to do. Even the video shows the game keeps reshuffling because there are no combinations to make.

I got lucky without any huge blasts. I was able to clear the cake 1/2 way through the game and that then provided lots of combos. (I played about 20 games before beating this) Try to get rid of the cake as soon as possible. Wrapped candy & stripe help a lot.

One tips that is important to note. If you make a horizontal candy on the right candy and want to use it to to clear candies or cake on the left....it will not blast through the black licorice. I found this out the hard way!!

Good luck!! PM

This level is ridiculous, it only gives me one possible move at a time and none of them do anything. That's not a game, it's blindly following a computer programs instructions. Where's the enjoyment in that? Oh right there is none, so like a whole load of other levels in this "game" you just need to repeatedly play it until it gives you the candies you need. Not a good game.

Did it thanks to the help given here. Money came close when I cleared the cake first. Played about 10 times and cleared the cake in the first 10 moves which then left me loads of moves to,concentrate on the jelly. Going to bed a happy bunny! ....... or maybe I'll start the next level .......

Anonymous said...

I had 35 moves and still got left with 2 candies!! I have been left with one 3 times...i'm not even enjoying this level..it's boring..as a matter of fact this whole episode is very repetitive and although i like the gun blast the first game of this episode it's got old!! plod along..i'll get it out.but it's BORING

Anonymous said...

Clear the cake straightaway or just stop the game and retry. After that just luck the left hand set is more difficult to clear.

Ricardo Jimenez said...

It might be faster if you can destroy the cake in a few moves. But that is not always possible (in fact, very seldom is). The first move is of course on the left because you have the right full with licorice. After first move, black tiles move to the left side from the top and liberate a few on the right. If you can start playing on the right right away clearing the licorice. If not, try to do a move on the left on the top candy to help destroy the licorice. As soon as you have fairly clean right side, then work on the left without the worry of filling with licorice, try to destroy the cake then ASAP. It involves a lot of luck anyway... get combos.

"if" i had unlimited lives, this is a level i would not feel guilty about it, half the time 10 moves in you know you are destined to fail

Anonymous said...

It's a very simple level actually... you ABSOLUTELY MUST CLEAR THE CAKE WITHIN THE FIRST 10 MOVES... if you do not and the licorices falls to surround the cake, then the game is over.

There is nothing more to this level. No skill, no nothing... just pure luck of the draw.

By the way, if you do happen to clear the cake in the first few moves, then you have to be lucky enough to draw a choco/stripe or some other combos.

Happy Luck Everyone!

This level is a pain in the butt. I'm getting tired of playing it. As others have said, if you can't clear the cake fairly early on, you're doomed to fail. Even if you do, it's still hard to get good combos. This is an example of a poorly programmed level. Any time it has to continuously shuffle the candies to give you moves, there is a problem with the program.

Jude said...

Although the horizontal striped candy can't blast through all the licorice it will take out the first one in the row. So if you can line it up with the cake then you can start to free up the cake even if it has been surrounded. I very nearly completed the level by doing this, so all is not lost if you don't free the cake in ten moves. Makes it harder though ;)

Beat it after 40+ lives.
This episode is the hardest so far!
If you can not blow the cake in the first 15 moves, it's almost impossible.

Anonymous said...

programers: are you interested in why this level is ZERO fun? it's because the whole game is forced moves. we make the one and only move on the board and then you must shuffle, repeat of the same, repeat of the same until game is over. even using boosters i've only busted the cake open 2 times. the idea of a game is to PLAY. if we aren't playing it's just not fun. this is pure honesty here.
lolo

Anonymous said...

hey this is lolo.
I just now passed. not from having any skillful moves or special combos and i didn't use any boosters. plain and simple, i passed due to a lucky board. there is no other way to pass so do beat yourself up over this level and don't waste money on boosters for this particular one. just wait for the lucky board. when you are frustrated just walk away and come back to it later. eventually that lucky board will show up.

I have only played this once so far and I can see what everyone is complaining about! On all these exploding cake levels, I look at what is around the cake before I start playing. If it looks like there aren't moves to break it, I hit the back button and create a new board! I don't lose a life and it gives me a fighting chance.

Anonymous said...

This level is boring. If you can't get the cake cleared you have no chance. Even if you clear it it is luck to complete this level.

Anonymous said...

Quite a difficult level! Glad i am finished with it!
Candies and licorice would fall from the right bix to the left box. There is a pudding cake in the middle of the left box.
* The first priority here is to clean the pudding cake because when it is cleared cannon will go of and clear everything. Your first moves must clear it before the licorice starts blocking it.
* In every move you must eliminate a licorice so that no licorice would come down.
* When i have no more moves that could clear the pudding, I restart because it is difficult to clear the left board with horizontal stripes especially when it is blocked by licorice.
* When the cannon goes of and clear the board, start making combos to massively clear the board.
* Before you make your first move, if you see there are no moves to clear part of the pudding cake then restart.
Good luck! Happy crushing!

Absolutely ridiculous level. Every second move in most games is a reshuffle as there are simply NO MOVES!!! You cannot clear by making combos in the right hand side so basically the whole tjhing is pointless unless you get a good board at the very start. A total waste of lives!!!

Anonymous said...

Yeah, it's just a time (and life) waster. It gives you only a couple possible useless moves, and then reshuffles and gives you another. Really nothing you can do here but play and play till the game decides to finally let you through I guess.

Bring back the fun... I want out of this level!!

I am playing this level on IPad. If you do not clear the cake before the licorice invasion, you might as well hit the restart button. That means the first 4-5 moves usually determine your fate. Even if the cake is gone and the canon blasts, the computer controlling the flow of candies seems to ensure failure. (That is also true for other levels, as well) The PC version is probably more doable, as it is with most levels. On the IPad, you just have to play until the computer gods decide to give you a break. But that means it not really a game based on skill, merely luck and chance.

Anonymous said...

What an utter disaster of a level. It'll constantly reshuffle because you have no moves. One jelly left at the very end of the level? Board almost clear? It'll still reshuffle because it's laid out in a way that you almost never have any free moves.

Seriously. Disaster of a level. It's not fun, designed to siphon lives away from you and your wallet.

I'll keep trucking through and hope I get a lucky board that lets me win. It's that or stop playing.

Anonymous said...

OMG I thought I would get a break after level 374 but this one is just as bad, if not worse.

Anonymous said...

This level is a complete waste of time. Board re-shuffles after practically every move. Rarely clear the cake, let alone get combos to clear the jellies. What is the point of this level.....

Anonymous said...

This level is so stupid and annoying. If you don't clear the cake before the licorice starts falling into the left box then you might as well just restart the gsme. Success depends very much on luck and not on skills at all.

dirty vegas said...

I seems my comments are not being posted ,if this one gets through its to say that every second move is a reshuffle and I've exited the game more than Ive played because it is pointless carrying on when the liquorice takes over the board .. sigh !!!

Anonymous said...

What I did was focus on working on the right hand side and clearing as much of the licorice as I could so that when I started working on the left, it wasn't dropping down licorice. After trying this strategy I was able to clear it on the first try.

Joni said...

Very good idea to focus on BOTH sides of the board. You really do have to clear the pudding cake early or no chance. Then I just made as many combos as possible. I got lucky and got a chocolate ball with a stripe. That did it. Took about 25-30 tries.

Anonymous said...

Yes we would all like to play from the left board. But even with the shuffles I have not had opportunity to make moves on that side. I get maybe 3 moves on left side to start and that's it on the right side board. The rest of the game is forced moves of 3 of same color. When I do manage to get a stripe or wrapped close together it shuffles them so they are on different screens and are of no use to me. Playing on iphone 5 updated to 7. What a pain. Wouldn't most people that failed at their jobs like the creator of this and some other levels of these games be disciplined? Please get some new game creators.

Anonymous said...

Previous text should say after the 3 moves on the left screen then no more opportunity on left board then I have no choice but to continue to play on the right side. That's when the nightmare begins.

Most of the last 10 or 20 levels required a lot of luck. Of course, you have to be skillful to use that lucky combinatiion to pass the levels. But, as you have reached these levels, you most probably have those skills. So the game became more and more dependent on luck, and a lot of tries. You do not have to think about the strategy as there is only one. That removes the fun of the game for me.

Lenora Peary said...

I cant believe some of you guys did not know that you can't shoot thru the licorice after coming this far!! Also you do not HAVE to destroy the cake in the first 10 moves I didn't do it until I had 16 moves left and to do this I used a horizontal candy - twice on the same row.

Anonymous said...

This is the most boring and uninspiring level yet. No skill required just pure luck.

Anonymous said...

What is the point go this level other than to make people buy was wondering when I would detox and now I the time, silly king needs to be enjoyable and challenging not impossible

Wendy said...

Agree that very little skill required initially, before pie broken. Also agree need to break pie early, or restart. I freakishly broke pie in first 7 moves and then had 42 to finish. I had got a lucky fiver and stripe combo gift from the computer in order to do this. Pkgs and stripe combos are your friends after pie broken. Skill does come into play here, so plan your moves carefully as new licorice can limit your moves. Concentrate somewhat on the left panel as falling candies will break jellies in right panel for you. Do be careful to watch upper corners to ensure those get broken early, and of course watch for special combinations. Finished with 6 moves left, but only got 1 star!

Rachel said...

Oh no! Took me FOREVER to clear the one before! Was hoping for an easier level. I hate to come this far and quit, but if they are not fun, they are just boring and frustrating!

Anonymous said...

This level stinks! They give you no chance to break the pie on left. Ready to quit. Not even a fun level!

Anonymous said...

Well, that's me done. Tired of annoying levels that present only the luck of the drop, tired of being frustrated at constant obstacles, tired of boring levels like this one. I can only say I'm glad I paid no money to the sad money grubbing arseholes who created this. To come this far and just find myself bored shows a remarkable lack of imagination on the part of the designers.
To everyone who is continuing, the best of luck and happy crushing.

Well, I FINALLY got a lucky break and cleared this level. Had to buy 5 extra moves but it was SO worth it! Key seemed to be break the square cake as early as you can, not always possible. Good luck everybody, you sure need it for this badly designed level!

Anonymous said...

For me this is absolutely the worst level throughout the entire game, must have used over 150 lives now and still no luck!!! Keep hoping for a lucky board as there is no skill that can be used just pure luck. Really think this level needs to be reviewed because im sure alot of players will give up on this one! Im pretty close!!.

Anonymous said...

i watched the video very carefully and started off like they did, not allowing all the licorice to take over and making stripes, it worked! good luck!!

Anonymous said...

Yep, I do! Frustrating as all get out

Anonymous said...

I haven't beat this level yet, I seem to have 2 moves less than what I need, but I think I have a good strategy. You know how you spend almost all levels trying to set up for more moves?

Don't do that. Try to make it so the board reshuffles. The second that you are able to get a match in the right hand columns, do it. Try to clear as many as you can as soon as you can, this helps to lessen the amount of licorice that will take over your ship. Licorice WILL encroach upon your cake, but you could lessen the impact. Make matches on the right, and if you have a combo on the left, leave that for the last move possible before a reshuffle.

Try to look at the reshuffle as a new "free" board. Also, make it a priority to leave spaces for there to be a combo on the left side.

As always, you need that lucky board. This isn't an easy level, this is the kind of level that you curse at and swear that this is the level that will make you quit candy crush.
Clear that licorice!

Anonymous said...

It took a few tries using this method, but it did finally work! Playing on iPad, I kept restarting until I had a board that gave me at least two moves on the left side to the LEFT or bottom of the cake so that licorice falls more on the left side.

As soon as possible, begin taking out licorice on the RIGHT. Try not to touch the left until all licorice is cleared. If lucky, you can get a horizontal stripe that isn't blocked by licorice, or just enough regular moves to clear the cake. Then it is just a matter of clearing the jelly in a regular fashion.

This worked better for me than concentrating on the cake. If the licorice is gone from the right, it won't spill into the left side and you'll have a lot more moves.

Anonymous said...

cherylcandycrush here.

The trick on this level is t keep the left hand side alive-easier said than done, because all that coiled licorice comes down and you can't do a thing.
Try hard to clear the pizza cake in the bottom middle of the LHS. This will cause the cannon to go off and this will clear the licorice and open up the whole board on both sides, as well as clear some jelly.

I got a freckle bomb with a wrapped candy and that did an amazing amount of damage on both sides, so
-concentrate on LHS while you can
-aim to clear the cake if you can
-then aim for combos

Good luck. I got through in about 10 turns, if that is any guide.

Cleared the cake on my first go at this level and left one jelly. Since then have tried numerous times and not even come close. Am so wishing I had used one of my saved toffee hammers to get rid of the last jelly. Such a frustrating level as it seems easy when you look at it!

Anonymous said...

For once, I didn't have to come here for hints and tips. I was expecting this to be a killer level with their being 2 posts, but I did it on my second go.

I didn't clear the cake early. I avoided it as much as I could and cleared one layer of jelly with normal moves. Not too many special candies, just ordinary match 3 candies. When I did destroy the cake, and the whole board was cleared I only had a handful of candies left to remove with about 17 moves left.

Luck does help with the way that the candies fall, but compared to some levels this one was easy. Good Luck!

Michelle dv said...

Thx for the great advice - I focused on the cake. If it looked futile, I ended the game early as it was just too frustrating even midway. On the 10th go I got the cake out, and then two choc sprinkles helped me get through the jellies quickly.

Anonymous said...

In the end I found that the judicious use of the hammers I had saved up proved really helpful, first to finish smashing the cake (only needed one) and then using another three at the very end to smash the last few jellies. I was so sick of this level I thought this was a good use of those little freebies (I always seem to get a hammer on the daily spin for some reason)

This is really a fucked up level and a screw in the ass. I never thought this bad about this game until this level. I have played many levels for a week or few days but never felt bored. But after trying for few boards on this level, i really wanted throw away the phone. There is no fun and hope at all to progress on this level. What kind of a jerk this level's must be.....son of a bitch.
