ccc's tips:

1. make more horizontal stripes and drop it to the bottom line to increase chances of clearing the bottom line jellies.

Need help, cant get this level, got down to 2 jellys, with 1 move left, luck is the only way to beat this one!! Has anyone beaten it?

Anonymous said...

two color bomb combo clears the liquorice quite nicely

Anonymous said...

Can anybody open this one on you tube I can't there is a lego block there

Anonymous said...

combine 2 wraps in the left and right jellyrows.. the jellyrows in the middle can easily be cleared by exploding the wrapped (with or without a striped).
I also combined 2 chocolateballs.

I cleared this level in 2 days with 16 moves left.

Anonymous said...

Got close a couple of times, but still haven't found the sweet spot with this level. Stripe/Wrap combo is useless (or is this just an iphone bug? as it barely breaks any jelly just goes right through them), so it's only going to be luck that clears those bottom left and right jellies.
Two candy bomb combos helped get close.

Anonymous said...

This one is HARD!! All I've figured out is:
1) get a vertical stripe in the middle and busy the candy covered in jellyl-- then mix them. This eliminates the whole middle row of jelly.
2) wrapped + striped is useless
3) 2 wrapped mixed helps if you can get them in the right place. And as always; chocolate + striped helps too.

Someone said to get horizontal stripes in the middle hole to help but that's impossible.

Anonymous said...

Pretty important difference on iOS vs. online versions...

Obviously you need to get a vertical strip in the middle column to unlock the stripe and wrapped candies from the marmalade. Then when you make the stripe/wrap combo, on iPad it will only clear the center section. But on the computer, it will also clear one column of licorice in both the left and right sections (as it should).

I still haven't passed the level but at least I'm not wasting time trying on my iPad/iPhone any longer. :-)

Reb said...

Yeehaa, completed the level last night after hundreds of attempts over a week or more. It was more by luck than design. In all attempts I have combined the wrapped with stripped candies in the centre section.

In my successful session I did this and very soon after a colour bomb 'appeared'. The next move I was lucky enough to make a colour bomb right next to the first. I combined the two which left just 2 jellys to clear.

Unbelievably, after hundreds of attempts of this level, I cleared with 24 moves to spare, 24!!!!!!

Good luck everyone, it's down to luck and perseverance!

Reb said...

In addition to the above, in case anyone wondered, I did this and all levels on ipad2 without boosters

Played this level for 2 days. Passed it by using two sprinkles.

after level 350 the play is not fun anymore. It sucks!

Anonymous said...

I've got down to 2 and 3 by using two choc sprinkles together....waiting for that move again!! It's not hard...40 moves is the hard part...only at it half a day so I won't complain yet...enjoyable level to a point but I will try it on computer to see if there i a difference before I go back to i phone which i find easier to play on

hopeloos said...

Easy??? i've been playing this level for a 300 times! It sucks. I quit!

Anonymous said...

Lost count how many games I played over last day and a half being left with 1, 2 or 3 so many times with moves left but cldn't get to them...strange how the combos on board would dry up at that point.
Anyway..I finally got a game with a couple of choc sprinkle/stripe combos and one with 6 moves left..and only a few on each corner to clear....bingo!! Left me with one jelly right bottom and low and behold I had the move to clear it!! Unreal...hated this level cause I nearly got it out first shot then it was crazy!! Good luck.
I DID TRY TO GET OPENINGS ON BOTH SIDES BEFORE I RELEASED THE CENTRE BOTTOM SO THAT IT WAS GOING TO BREAK THROUGH A LITTLE AS LICORICE WON'T BUDGE WITH WRAPPED/STRIPPED ALOONE....and that helped in the successful game. Good luck...now lets see what the next level will be!!

Anonymous said...

Very frustrating level!!! Lets me get a couple combos to think I'm getting somewhere, then just goes to next to no moves!!

Anonymous said...

Much easier on computer completed after twenty tries. Impossible on phone bombs react differently.

Anonymous said...

Try to get a color bomb combo, that wiped out all the licorice, took a level off the "merengue" blocks, and finiah off the jelly however you can after that. I only play on my iPhone, not impossible, just need to be patient.

I have been on this level for a week, and it is impossible....I have been patient, I cannot get even close, and you know I am a smart player or I wouldn't be on this level!! I am convinced it is not possible without payed for boosters, which annoys me to no end!!

Anonymous said...

It definitely doesn't work right on android. Stripe/wrap combos don't break jelly properly and don't clear the sides.

Shawn said...

Agree with the comment above:
Play this level on PC and it's MUCH easier! Because once you use the center wrap/strip combo, it opens up the side column half.
On my android version, it doesn't do that and it makes it at least 10 times harder!
Tried it on PC and past it after less than 20 tries!

Anonymous said...

Tired of the chocolate and the bombs and the cakes that have to get blasted to even start to clear the jelly. Was so happy this level didn't have the cakes but the chocolate is a killer. Can't clear the jelly. Each level is becoming too difficult to pass. I used to be able to breeze through four or five in between the hard ones, but they are all hard now. Not fun anymore.

Anonymous said...

Finally beat this level after one week. Was lucky enough to get 3 chocolate balls near the end and just used them one at a time to clear the 3 remaining jellies. Almost gave up though!

Anonymous said...

finally done with this level after 20 days..honestly the game is more of luck to have rigt combinations at right time and right place...best were the wrapped candies..two of them together one the sides will do most of thed job...try it...dont loose hope...

Anonymous said...

There's no doubt in my mind that the game decides when it's going to let you win. That's why you can play hundreds of times and then finally win with an obscene number of moves left. This isn't the first level that's proven that. Perseverance is really all you need, period.

Anonymous said...

Thank you to whomever posted to play this level on the PC! I'm going to try it tonight. I can only get down to two jellies on my Android. Thankfully, this is not a boring level to play! Lots of combos come up, which makes it fun but I am having trouble making a sprinkle/stripe combo! Happens only occasionally.

karen underwood said...

Oh my..finding this one really hard

Anonymous said...

I am finding this level as hard as 147, which I was stuck on for over a month! I have gotten down to a single jelly once in about 100 tries. I find if I get a sprinkle/stripe combo near the end, it helps clear the jellies. I played on the PC last night but didn't get good set ups. On my phone, I can just hit the back button. I'm not giving up but man this sucks!

Anonymous said...

I finally passed this brutal level! I got very lucky. A couple of moves in, I got two sprinkles in the center of the board. They wiped out all the licorice and freed up the wrap/stripe in the bottom center. That combo wiped out more jelly. It was then just a matter of clearing jellies and managing the chocolate. Phew! It's all about the luck of the board on this one!

Anonymous said...

another impossible level unless they throw you the lucky board. I do not think this is fun anymore. I have had stripes and wrapped candy with choclate bombs and all sorts of things but when you get to the bottom it is inpossible.

Anonymous said...

uuuugh! I hate this level! so many irritating obstacles, not enough moves, jellies so spread out......uuuughhhh. not sure how long this is gonna take!

karen underwood said...

Omg is it true it will only work on pc.. Central column combo doesn't work on my android..def only clears central column. I have spent ages trying different things and now to read you need to go on pc to complete it is annoying.

Anonymous said...

Did it on the iPad, finally.

The strategy is different though because the wrap/stripe combo doesn't work like it is supposed to work.

First, detonate a color bomb+color bomb to clear licorice. Tough to get but it was the only way.

Then, detonate the center wrp/stripe combo.

Last, finish with strategic moves and hopefully a color bomb + stripe. I had a few color bombs at the end to get the last few colors still in jelly.

Took me AGES until I had a board to accomplish this.

Anonymous said...

I was only able to win this on my pc. The licorice does not clear on my phone. Was able to beat it after 5 tries on my PC.

Anonymous said...

One hard level!! Beat it on my iPad. You need two chocolate bombs next to each other near the bottom half of the board, a few remaining moves to clean up the remaining jelly and a deep breath to make those moves count!!!

Anonymous said...

What a crap level...Play it on a PC, not on your phone if you want any chance of passing this one.

Anonymous said...

But can't use the PC unless you are using Facebook, correct? If so, does anyone know if you can 'temporarily' connect to facebook and then back without losing your level?

Anonymous said...

I meant that I am currently using my ipad (which stores my info on my ipad)...so I will not be able to use the PC, correct?

Anonymous said...

These level are becoming more & more ridiculous and almost tedious. Why the hello do we want to play a game that is at times almost impossible to win unless they give you a lucky board? I had 5 spotted in one board in this game & still could not win as you could not make striped ot wrapped to go with it. It is crazy and no longer any fun what so ever.

Anonymous said...

the game is connected to / synchronized with your facebook account so that you can play on thousands of devices if you wish to meaning you are each time getting 5 lives

Anonymous said...

This level is a total waste of time to try on iphone. The center striped wrapped are no use on that and break very little. In fact this has to be one of THE worst levels ever. It is totally reliant on a lucky board and all you ever seem to do is make combos that do not break bugger all!!!After over 2 weeks and hundreds of games, the closest I have been able to get is 5 left. This is definitely a level that will make me quit!!!

Anonymous said...

After reading the comments on here I was lucky enough to get down to just one left on the next game. I used my last, very carefully hoarded, lollypop booster to get past this level, hope I did the right thing! Good luck everyone, if I can do it, so can you! (Well with a little help admittedly!)

Anonymous said...

I've been stuck here for awhile now. I still try but only half-heartedly from time to time, not as much as I used to... losing enthusiasm for this game and not really expecting much but more of the same. After 382 levels, guess I'm realizing you only get through when the game decides to let you, but these last levels now have been more frustrating than fun. Wish the game would NOT go to this extreme... it should not take this long to get through a level. They DO become old, boring and frustrating after 100's of attempts to get through, of course! I hope they will someday decide to keep the game closer to fun than ridiculous frustration.

Anonymous said...

Which level finally made you quit the game? For me it's going to be this one.

Anonymous said...

After being stuck on this level for days now I decided to see what kind of tips I could find here.
I've tried them all. I've had two color bombs side by side, two wrapped candies side by side..... to no avail.
I hope I pass soon.

Anonymous said...

I just finished this level, no boosts...took about 3-4 days. I got 2colour bombs side by each, then 2 outer colour bombs used to cut some jelly...it can be done, you just have to hope for a lucky break.

Anonymous said...

This level is getting on my last nerve!!just can't seem to get anywhere near clearing the jelly on the sides..darn chocolates ...and the wrap/stripped in the middle does not clear the dark x's on top of the jelly...5 days now on my tablet and not even close!!! Just don't have any umpf any more...getting boring playing the same thing over and over and over again!!!

RacingRobin said...

I'm done. This level got me. I can't stand to play it anymore!! Done!!

Anonymous said...

After playing for a week on iPad, using dozens of lives, I finally fired up the PC and won in two attempts. MUCH easier on PC than mobile deivice. Whew...glad to be done with this level!

Anonymous said...

Cool, a level where the only way to come even remotely close to beating it is to get a color bomb+color bomb combo. I've played about 50 times so far and haven't gotten that a single time.

No wonder all my friends are stuck on this level...they all gave up because it gets boring as S*** to play this same buggy level over and over.

At least go make the stripe/wrap combo work like it's supposed to. You break more jelly by busting each separately, which is obviously a bug.

luckylau said...

This level just stinks..can't do anything on my android...nothing breaks thru the left and right blocks of jelly..the most stupidist level ever..why keep playing when all I do is quit because in 19 moves left still can,t clear jelly on the right or left..see ya CC...

Anonymous said...

Yeah just stop playing when you hit this level. Bugs/frustrations:

Color bomb + color bomb is pretty much the only way, but even this combo won't clear all the licorice. Some is apparently "falling" when the bombs go off, and remain intact in the corners. BS.

The stripe/wrap combo in the middle breaks almost nothing. Don't use it. Blow them separately.

Chocolate will "seek out" your color bombs and swallow them even when there are tons of other candies for them to swallow.

Last but not least, I had 30 lives stockpiled that literally disappeared when I hit this level. Utter BS.

This has been my main site for Candy Crushing Tips n Tricks so thank you all for getting me this far.

I have to say a big thank you to king.com for allowing me to level 382, it’s been great fun but it’s time to call it a day now as I can’t be crushing candies at the age of 42, paying the mortgage, spending time with the family and keeping down a full time job…..lol.

This level has thankfully broken my addiction.

I will lastly say that the game algorithms are definitely wrong for this level (by now you should all know that this is a game of pure luck, no IQ of 150 required at all in getting this far), but saying that, it’s been great fun and totally addictive up until now.

My tips? I can confirm the earlier posts that there is an algorithm difference between playing on a PC and a smartphone (at least for this level, a big one). I can confirm the other bugs mentioned prior for this level (expecting a stripe after careful planning but getting nothing at all).

For those patient enough, keep trying. You will (as I did after 100+ attempts) actually get two sprinkled candies side by side as if it was magic, without giving it any thought.

Combine them both to get rid of the liquorish and then basically, hope for the best however, this did nothing but tease me and I was still unable to clear the level....by a long way.

Anyway, time for some Cover Orange 2.

Holly Molly, they make how much per day from Candy Crush??? I’m in the wrong business.

Good luck fellow Crushers. Time to finally clock off.

P.S. I advise you all to watch “Star Trek The Next Generation - The Game” episode.

Look/Feel familiar? ;0)

Regards.

Eyes Wide Open.

I too have been on 382 for what seems like forever and I also am about ready to call it quits bc not only have I tired and gotten every type of combo possible....I even got down to within one three times but refused to pay for extra moves that would probably not work anyway...AND now the last two times that I've signed on to play the first thing I notice is that ALL my extra lives have been taken!!!! How in the world am I suppose to get past the level with them now taking all my extra lives??? Frustrating :-(......has this happen to anyone else???

Anonymous said...

Yes I've lost me extra lives and moves before, and how come the extra lives you have on a mobile device are not available on a PC and I can't seem to find my extra lives if I don't accept them when I first go in. If I already have 5 lives there's no way to use the extras.

I'm also stuck on this level. Tried PC and iPad. Keep trying, I guess. Frustrating though!

Anonymous said...

So you can only beat this playing on PC?

Anonymous said...

I had a lot of success with the following strategy:

1) ignore the centre block completely, it will resolve itself or you can clean up at the end.

2) work on both side blocks as much as possible. Wrapped candies are good cos they drop down.

3) work on getting colour bombs, and on putting two of these together. Once you get one colour bomb, the next one is not far behind so dont be tempted to use it too soon.

With this strategy, i had 4 goes that were close and got thru on the fifth.

I have been on this level for - I don't know how long! Today, for the second time, I came to read comments, as I do when truly stuck. I had even given the game up for a while.

Well, decided to open my laptop up and give it a try as people seem to have better luck on it. I beat the level first try, I'm not even sure what I did. I know I had one color bomb early on, but it went off on it's own. I did near the end manage to get a wrapped and striped on the right side, not through any tactics, not sure how, and it removed all but two jellies, until only reds landed in spot and burst what was left.

I'm still a bit puzzled.... better go see what level 383 holds for me...

Anonymous said...

If you are playing on a phone, you MUST be lucky enough to cross two chocolate balls early. Got mine at 30 moves left. Ended up with 5 moves to spare when i finally completed it. This is BY FAR the most difficult level in the game up to that point. If you havent already, you must learn to maneuver two or three moves ahead to get choc balls.

Anonymous said...

Whoever designed this level deserves to get a strong kick to the groin!!!

Anonymous said...

Read some tips as this is by far the hardest level so far (iPad). For about one week, I concentrated on getting double color bombs. After 10 games with double color bombs I gave up on that strategy. I now can get close (within 2 or 3 left) every, say 20 games, by concentrating on opening the left and right sides as quickly as possible. You apparently have to get luckier than I have (over 500 serious attempts). Getting rather tedious now. They could have incorporated a bit more strategy versus the luck factor. Oh well, bye bye Candy Crush! You used to be a lot of fun! Deleted.

Anonymous said...

I was stuck on this one for quite a while (android). Two colorbombs definitely did the trick to finish this one (19 moves left!). Obviously I had good fortune with the board, but the trick is to really focus on creating the colorbomb combo. All other strategies seem completely futile. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

I created a Visual Basic program to let me keep track of my progress on each level. After each game I leave myself a comment. I have tried this Level (382) 27 times thus far. I was one away once. It appears that it's a good idea to clear the blockers as soon as possible. Otherwise you get those annoying-looking jellies with no colors! Doing a bomb-stripe is best with few (or no) blockers. Yes, a bit of luck does help! I think I will be able to do this in under 100 tries. By the way, it took me 411 tries to nail Level 380.

Anonymous said...

well after about 5 frustrating days and so many lives i cleared level a lot of times today 1 or 2 jellies eventually things combos clicked
cleared the layers first thing then lot of striped and horizontals and combos bombs etc just keep pluggin away will get in the end
happy new year and keep crushing

Anonymous said...

So King....when we say that a particular level couldn't get any more infuriating, it wasn't a challenge. This level sucks, it's impossible and I'm convinced NOT meant to be completed by conventional means. PLEASE either dumb this one down or add moves to the level. I'm ready to call it quits.

Anonymous said...

Pathetic On Ipad and android, have not tried on pc yet but will give it a go before deleting app off of both mobile platforms. These ridiculously impossible levels have spoilt a relatively good game. Why do the chocolate makers have to be there? This level would be hard enough to clear without them!

Ladilove said...

Made it through this just after a couple of days. Try to break through the licorice as best you can with vertical hits to get candy in its place. Then work on getting combos and choco+stripe combos to blast the jelly. I had one jelly left and had to break out the lollipop to smash it. Good luck!!

Anonymous said...

This level seemed nearly impossible on mobile. Then I won on my first try on the computer. The wrap+stripe in the center jellies cut through more of the side licorice coils.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone beaten this on a smartphone? Combos break way less jelly there vs. on my computer. Example 1: The wrap+stripe doesn't break near as much as on PC.
Example 2: 2 colored balls on phone didn't even clear all the chocolate. It cleared some, but not all.

I get way closer on my computer but that's really not where I'd like to play. Too bad this game sucks now....it was fun while it lasted.

after many levels and the night levels.... this one us kicking my butt. the closest I've been is 19 :-( not happy King

What a ridiculous level. After many attempts 0n android switched to PC but after several attempts and getting close on several occasions my patience has run out.Why continue something that is based more on luck than stratergy. Not fun anymore.Time to find something else.

I've been on this level for far too long, it's getting very frustrating! I think it might just come down to luck as to what falls down. Not good :(

SueJ said...

Got so frustrated on my I-pad where I usually play - had played this level for days. Linked to facebook where I was able to play this level on my computer - got through on first play!! Had loads more extras, and liquorice went much more easily. Went back to my I-pad and continued playing!! Feel a bit of a cheat but hey... now I am past that horrible level! Good luck! :)

Anonymous said...

As others have correctly stated, this level is close to impossible on an iphone. I have gotten lucky and had two color bombs next to each other which did clear the licorice, but still would require a lot of luck (color bomb and striped combo maybe two times).

This has become less than fun and too tedious at this point. Mostly luck involved. It was fun for a while, but this has ended my candy crush playing. Finally!

Anonymous said...

This was definitely a hard level, and took me thirty-two attempts to get it. Following the advice here, I played on the computer (or my Windows tablet, which was how I finally got the level). The secret was not getting two sparklies together, which I could not do, but getting wrapped/striped combos on the sides, which opened up the lower right and lower left sections and allowed candies to drop in. This came after the initial wrapped-striped combo in the centre. Thus, the secret appears to be... 1. play on the computer, not a mobile device. 2. use a vertical blaster to set up a wrapped/striped combo in the centre, setting that off. 3. concentrate on getting the blocking cream away from the lower right and lower left. 4. attempt to get wrapped/striped combos on the sides, as they do major damage. 5. striped/sparkly combos are not too useful. 6. ignore chocolate unless it gets out of control. Accept that all the levels in this episode (levels 380-395) are hellish.

David said...

It took me a MONTH to finish this stupid level. I refuse to link to Facebook, therefore I was stuck trying to get this thing done on my Android. It feels as though they make it harder on phones/tablets just to push IAPs. SO FRUSTRATING!

Anonymous said...

Yea, did that. Didn't work. Another frustrating level.

Bostoncreampuppies said...

Ok, so after being stuck on level 382 for almost two months, trying all the tips on here, I finally went and played it on the PC through Facebook, and cleared it on my first try! I usually play on my ipad, but there's definitely a bug because the stripe/wrapped combo in the middle bottom don't clear any of the licorice on the bottom, but on the PC it clears a lot like it's supposed to. How frustrating, I wasted all that time. Now I'm wondering what other bugs/differences there are between the mobile versions and the PC version, and how the heck I got this far on a mobile device in the first place! Usually the tips I read on here help a lot when I'm stuck on a level, but beware, if you're stuck on this level on a mobile device, go try it on a PC, huge difference.

I got the two color bombs together and it did do wonders but left with one jelly and no more moves. Haven't been that close since.

I was stuck on this level for weeks on my android. I didn't even get close to completing.

I read a few comments on here, saying play it on the PC (read facebook). I passed it first go. Honestly, the level is not even close to the same difficulty level.

I am amazed, the facebook and android versions are completely different.

I've been playing for weeks om iPad and iPhone and habe not even come close. Time it say goodbye to C C as it's not fun anymore. The free boosters wouldn't help unless you had at least 10 pink balls to use to crush the last 10 moves since that's the closet I've come!atdre
