Candy Crush Saga Level 400

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 400 Candy Crush Saga by Cookie
The aim of level 400 Candy Crush Saga is to clear all the jelly. There is jelly under all the blockers and bubblegum in the middle of the board. The first move should always be to make a colourbomb at the top of the board and when you use it you should get more colourbombs. Don't use it on the blue candies and they will be the ones to give more colourbombs.
Once you have made a start try to clear the bubblegums by making moves beside them whenever you can, the bubblegum will help to clear the blockers and jelly.

I've gotten close ... Just needed one more a couple times. Can't seem to get it...grrrrr

Is this level even possible on IPad? Been trying for two days!

Think I'm the only person stuck on the lvl grrr!!

Keep as many explosions as possible certainly need some luck.

WHAT??? I think this level sucks the closest I've gotten is needing 2 more. I hate making the spotted candies I can never get it set up rite.

this wasn't too bad of a level - lost many games with still needing 3 chocolate balls. It helped me to save the chocolate balls on the bottom to eliminate just one color - this left me more options for creating a new chocolate ball. good luck!

And i thought 400 would be an easy level, i finished it and just happy to move on., 400 is a big milestone!
Thank you for all your tips and videos!
* Open up all the frozen candies, make a wrapped + striped combo to remove chocolate in the middle and unfreeze the color bombs.. You only have to make 6 more color bombs.
* Open up each color bomb one by one. When you use 1 color bomb, stop to check the board for potential color bombs, do the move to make more color bombs then use the next color bombs.
* Remove an off color the one with less color candies so there would be more opportunities to make more color bombs with candies of the same color.
* Do not expose all color bombs at the same time. Do not make a color bomb + color bomb combo, it eliminates all candies therefore you lose your 14 opportunities to form more color bombs. - LEI

Struggled for 4days on iPad, couldn't get closer than 3 remaining. Switched to laptop and cleared it second go with 14 moves remaining. Thank goodness for the multi-platform/versions.

Way too easy. Did it first go on the ipad with 18 moves left. Must have been a lucky day.

I could not get close on my IPad and used many lives in my attemp. I was successful in just a few rounds on my PC. As suggested above, I found it best to use the color bombs individually. A wrap and a chocolate bomb automatically gives you another chocolate bomb!

struggled at first but eventually luck of the falling candy created the extra freckles i needed success cant believe up to over 400

Combine wrapped candy with a glitter ball and you get another glitter ball - after I read this tip I won the first time trying (after playing for several days). Played on iPhone

I found using the freckles to clear the candies with the least colour on the board worked for me. Once I started doing this I passed in my next couple of goes.

My strategy was to get rid of all the choco balls at the bottom with the least amount of moves possible. This opened the board more for me to make the additional 6 needed.

But this doesn't register!

I counted the chocolate bombs as I exploded them & got to 20 & they said that I still needed 2 more! Ready to quit!

Been on this level two days, was getting a bit irked as I'd tried it on iPad iPhone and the Mac!!!

I needed to read the tips - thanks everyone there's one I haven't tried and that's the color bomb and a wrapped!! Im sure it's going to work.

yep Im back,(the post above).

thanks for the tip whoever said 'color bomb+wrapped'!! but have to admit, in my haste and stupidity i bought £3 worth of boosts and they didnt get me anywhere! feel dumb abt that.

the good thing is i made it WITHOUT any boosts.

yep take the tip keep making color bomb+wrapped it works!

i still haven't completed this level but i tried the wrapped candy with a colour bomb and the new colour bomb it made did not count towards the 20 count!!! Has this happened to anyone else? what a pain!!

Getting fed up. I thought colour bomb + wrapped should be good and clearing one colour at a time to improve chances but even when I make extras they don't get counted! Playing on iPad.

I hate this level! Like some of you said, I would get a wrapped candy and a color bomb, but it didn't count. I've tried all these suggestions and I'm still stuck! Guess I'll just have to get lucky. BTW, I'm playing on an iPad or a Samsung Galaxy 3, if that makes a difference.

I'm happy to have made it to 400, but that's as far as I made it. Been stuck on this for so long that it's no fun anymore. Just same old board with same old results after weeks. Happy Candy Crushing!

This one is easy on PC. After many tries on iPad got it on third try on PC with 23 moves left

Grammajz says: When you can exchange one color bomb with any color. Then immediately exchange another color bomb with a different color candy. This minimizes the number of colors of candies on the board and increases your chance of making a new color bomb. Do this often and check each time to see if you can make a bomb. Good luck. Not too hard.

That previous comment worked for me like a dream. First, I avoided setting of the wraps and stripes near the chocolate factory (as they can easily wipe out most of your choc sprinkles). Then, I used my choc sprinkles to minimise colours on the board, one sprinkle then immediately another sprinkle. Then I repeated that. I formed my extra six this way. After a few times of doing it differently, this way was sooo easy, but maybe I was just lucky

Have now got this again as a quest. I'm ok on getting the 20 choc balls but cannot score the required 300000. Always end up 20-30,000 short. Any ideas? Is it best to keep playing or finish in as few moves as poss and then let the score rack up with the stripes generated with the non used moves?

I'd just like to say thanks to all the great people who post on these pages. I just passed this level with 21 to spare after reading all the posts. I'd been burning up all my bombs asap and I DIDN'T KNOW that a wrapped/choco bomb combo always give another choco bomb. That's how I did it. Thanks again, all you helpers.
