Hints & Tips for level 417 Candy Crush Saga

Open up and use the two coconut wheels as soon as possible, move them vertically so they shoot 3 stripes across to the right to clear some cream.
Before you use them make sure there are 3 candies under them so that you get the full benefit, if there are cyclones or dead spaces you won't get a stripe...
Then concentrate on making as many horizontal stripes as possible. A stripe/wrap combo will clear loads of cream and also knock out the cyclones for a few moves, giving you more chance to make good moves.

More tips.

You have 3 ingredients to bring down the entire left column and then over to the right hand column that is filled with 4 and 5 hit blocks. All of the 6 cyclones are over on the right side initially, but shoot over everywhere, so try to move the ingredients down and shoot a few horizontal striped candies over to help clear out more. You are given 2 coconut wheels that you should use vertically right at the beginning before you lose them to plow through some of the blocks at the top to make room for the ingredients once you are ready to bring them over. and then down and out.

yeah, no need for skill on this one, you just do the one move you have left after the stupid tornadoes trample everything...

Anonymous said...

I agree - this level is idiotic with absolutely no skill - you need a LOT of luck. Almost always there is only 1 or 2 moves.

Anonymous said...

Level 417 is a stupidly designed level with unfortunate luck only. I really want to give up Candy Crush because of this level.

Anonymous said...

Totally agree with above! I think I will give it up too... I think these guys are running out of ideas and are now just coming up with stupid ways to slow players down... What a shame, it started out as a great game and is now turned into a waste of time.

Anonymous said...

Yes. Totally agree. I don't want to spend time on this game now because of such a stupid designed level of 417.

Anonymous said...

This has to be the dumbest designed level for this game. No skill, total luck, and overly frustrating because of the tornadoes. I'm over it!!

Anonymous said...

Yes, yes and yes. Totally bored of waiting for the right time for it to give me what I need to clear this one, boring, boring, boring

Anonymous said...

Agree with you all - this is the worst designed level of the game. There is NO SKILL involved as you are lucky to have even one legal move - even if you don't want to make it. What happened to the creativeness in designing levels? I hear that the following levels in this "tornado" set are similar - nearly impossible. I've tried this about 300 times. Even the charms and boosters are pretty useless though I suppose if you bought 30 hammers or a 100 extra moves you might make it. Has anyone other than the lucky players in the videos beat this? None of my friends have yet.
Any level with more than ONE tornado needs to be redesigned...

Anonymous said...

Has anyone noticed if any developer has ever made any comments in this forum? Has any poorly designed level ever been redesigned? This one needs to go I'm afraid.

Anonymous said...

So agree with the comments on top.I'm giving up becoz of this level too.

Anonymous said...

Yes, let's all boycott by quitting. If they ever redesign this level, please share here so that we can consider whether to play this stupid game again.

Anonymous said...

Agree with everybody, worst level ever - pure luck required. Hope the idiot who designed it (and got it past QA) comes by here to see how his\her work is appreciated... Such a shame because lots of levels are very difficult but fun to do, because you can try to plan your moves - here any attempt to plan anything is a complete waste of time, as even if you do manage to get a stipe + wrapped together, a tornado will blow something up on purpose :(

Anonymous said...

Every time I have the opportunity to make a wrapped candy, the game freezes up on level 417 and I have to close the game...it already sucks away any chance you have at planning your moves, but then when you luck into one, it just freezes up? Really?!!

Anonymous said...

This level freezes on me all the time. It's frozen in 5 out of the 9 times I've played this level.

Anonymous said...

I wouldn't normally resort to nefarious means (and have happily paid money to buy boosters to get past difficult but fair, well designed levels in the past, and will do so in the future), but I categorically refuse to pay for boosters for this stupid level. Completed it using firefox....

Anonymous said...

This happens to me as well. It's frozen 1/3 of the time in the middle of the game. To correct this means reloading the page and losing a life.

Like everyone before me, this level is pure luck based, no skill required. It just depends if the game god is with you or not.

I have been on this level for a week or so and still not beaten it. Truly frustrating.

Anonymous said...

I can confirm that this whole tornado set is completely stupid - I happily made it to level 417, paying for a few boosters on the way, but absolutely hate the designers of this set (6 tornados on a split level - seriously? No available moves - reshuffle costs a move - seriously?). I know the idea is to generate income, but I sincerely believe that this is not the way to do it.

I've spent approx EUR 10 to date on this game, which I consider to be an extremely fair price for the amount of gameplay I've experienced. I've quite happily sent money to hammer one remaining jelly or for extra moves on a difficult, but FAIR, level, and will continue to send money to the developers on this kind of enjoyable, FAIR, level. However, I will not spend anything on levels where you only have one valid move at a time or the game seems to deliberately destroy your plan to do anything useful. After 50 plus attempts with completely random occurrences destroying the gameplay, I simply load up the game in a certain browser and move on....

Hopefully future levels will not be so badly thought out - should this be the case, I'll be willing to spend money again rather than resort to alternative methods.

Unknown said...

I agree with the above. I did get it on the 4th try, but had 2 frozen screens. I guess I can give them a poorly designed level but the frozen screen did piss me off. One time, I believe I crossed a coconut wheel with a stripped candy and there was only one tornado for a couple of moves. Not sure what happened, bug or by design. Also, tried bringing a coconut wheel to the other split screen and then vertically hit the creams. I did it, it was interesting but that was a game that froze on me. Well, Candy On!!! Dean

Anonymous said...

What is with this level keep freezing? Stuck at this for over a week, so sick of this game. Wish I can just quit.

Anonymous said...

Same here, it just keeps crashing. Please fix.

Anonymous said...

The tornadoes are huge fails on the developers' part. They remove any sort of strategic value the game has which is really what sets CC apart from other games. You have to think and plan 2, 2 or even 4 moves ahead to succeed. Very challenging and exciting. But this level is the complete opposite of that. You're lucky to have more than one move to choose from and you just have to make the moves and hope the game lets you win. Those rare moments when you get an opportunity to plan ahead for a special candy, the tornado just wipes it out. Every time. And then there's the freezing.

The closest I came was having all three acorns within three rows of the bottom with 12 moves left. But the tornadoes never let me get near them. This level is a joke even without the freezing up.

To the developers for future levels. Remember to keep STRATEGY a part of the game. THAT is what makes your game better than the rest (tornado levels notwithstanding).

Anonymous said...

THEY PUT 6 TORNADOES, TIME BOMBS, BRICKS, 2 SCREENS AND CRASH OF THE GAME, AND WANT THE PEOPLE TO PAY FOR THAT. COMPANY SUCKS AND PROGRAMMERS ARE JUST A GROUP OF GREEDY IDIOTS

Anonymous said...

This level keeps freezing and I have to refresh and start over again. Keep losing lives every time that it freezes. Any suggestions? Getting very frustrated!!

Anonymous said...

The tornados are instructed to **** up your game and when you're almost there then there is this well designed bug that freezes up the game , so dont bother to play just pray to be lucky .

Anonymous said...

Same here. It's very frustrating.

Anonymous said...

this level is plain stupid

Anonymous said...

This level is pissing me off so bad that I am thinking about quitting this game. The reason I and most players who like this game is the fact that we can use strategies. With the tornado on this level, 90% of the time there is only one available move on the whole board because everything else are blocked by the tornado or broken. How can you strategize when there is only one possible move. Basically, this level is all luck and no skill.

Anonymous said...

Just passed this level with extra moves.

Anonymous said...

i'm fed up with all this s***t!!!come on guys, this is NOT the candy game that we all loved!!!

Anonymous said...

THIS LEVEL SUCKS.

Anonymous said...

This level only shows how stupid the developers of this game are becoming and also shows how greedy they are too. Where's the STRATEGY here??? Seems to be a way of slowing down players in completing all the levels as you developers are seem to be running out of ideas.

WilliamPorygon said...

What a garbage level this is. A lot of previous levels required too much luck to even get a chance but this one is ridiculous. They don't even seem to care about disguising the fact that you have to be lucky anymore. Six tornadoes are way too many; there's no way to play with any strategy. Far too often you only have one possible move repeatedly so you're just going through the motions instead of actually making choices. And they're always setting off powerups in the least helpful places, or blocking me from getting to the bombs. :(

Anonymous said...

What I have found 2 or 3 times (in addition to your comments), is that there will be absolutely no move possible, none, so it just sits there without re-scrambling. That may be what you're saying about "freezing". I wasn't sure so I thought I would mention it. I think I'll quit too. I've said it before but I can't see any purpose to keep trying.

Anonymous said...

I played for this level 417 about 300 times +; drag me about 1 month; and finally get through on 7th August 2013!
Although many people saying that the Cyclones / Ternadoes are destroying and annoying or worst, it will be also ‘lucky’ to have them to destroy the time bomb when you have no moves to eliminate the time bomb.

After so many times of trying, I have to admit that this level 147 needs a huge luck to get through. When I finally passed this level with another 1 move left only, so this is a lucky day for me!

I write down some advices which might help for those who are still trying for this level :-

1. Try to survive until the last move and not kill by the time bomb as it run out of time; even though you fail to fulfill the order –> dropping 3 ingredients to bottom;

2. Try to activate Coconut Wheel to make it horizontal strip candy to strike across the right hand side 3 layers counting from the second top layer; u will need these 2 Coconut Wheel to help you for doing so, this will help you to break the level 5 of cup cakes down to level 3 of cup cakes, and hopefully the Cyclones / Ternadoes will help you to break the remaining cup cakes for you (this is why the Cyclones / Ternadoes help for the purpose); and give you more space and movement on the right hand side;

3. Try to make horizontal strip candy at left hand side and strike across to right hand side cup cakes; which if possible although it is difficult and your planning movement will be destroyed by the Cyclones / Ternadoes!
4. Try to make vertical strip candy at left hand side and drop to right hand side then only use it to make a passage for ingredients to drop through; again if possible; although it is difficult and your planning movement will be destroyed by the Cyclones / Ternadoes!
5. TRY and try; cross your finger and hope for the best; you need this TWO to get though this level!!!
So, don’t’ give up until one day you will get through! Good Luck!
A player from Malaysia

Stupid. stupid level. I wanted to smash the screen every time i played.
Yes, this level, you need LUCK.

WilliamPorygon said...

Okay, after three days of the game teasing me with constant boards that go nowhere and the occasional near-miss sprinkled in, I just beat this level... with FOURTEEN FREAKING MOVES LEFT. First two moves let me set off a vertical stripe in the left column, getting one of the coconut wheels to the right side immediately. Then all of a sudden the game had no problem with letting me work the second wheel down until I got it on the right half, and even let me make power-up combos without the tornadoes blocking me (a striped/wrapped at the bottom of the left half as well as two wrapped next to each other on the right half!) I was completely dumbfounded... recorded the last few moves when it was obvious I was going to win, but wish I had gotten the whole round... the whole level is definitely about whether it's going to let you win or not. Good luck to anyone still trying.

g said...

Yes, I passed this level without any booster and still left with 3 moves, i'll say all u need is luck luck luck.
Only thing u could do is try to use the donuts to clear the 1st 3 rows of block on the right panel and pray hard the tornado doesn't ruin your good move!!!!

MaryK. said...

Who ever wrote this level has lost the plot...what is fun about a over numbered bunch of tornadoes blocking almost all valuables moves. They have obviously lost the objection to customer satisfaction! It looks a hell lot of unhappy customers here. Let us boycott this idiotic game and see if they care enough to do something! And for god's sake update the mobile version so we are not tied down to our PCs. Wake up you folks at King.com! You are gravely disappointing your customers with this level!!!!

I am sooooo very tired of this level. Although I thought level 410 was going to see the last of me, this level is ten times worse. I have come close a couple times. It was fun while it lasted, but it looks like I may be leaving Candy Crush with bad memories of cyclones and one-move options that don't get you anywhere.

Anonymous said...

I am beginning to wonder if there are actual levels after 417. This is the most absurd level ever. Most of the time you only have one move available (if that), and there is no sense planning/preparing any moves (if you do have options) because the cyclones will just destroy all your plans. Since I have many friends & family playing, I will probably come back once a day to give them lives and maybe try my luck or play previous levels with my 5 lives. Otherwise I think I am done with Candy Crush. Good luck to everyone else still trying.

PuspitaHassei said...

Finally i passed this level today after play more than 100 times
Yeap this level totally only need LUCK.

but i try to give any hint that make me win this level (but it still need very big luck to create this hint)

1. Try to make combo between coconut + stripe so it will attack horizontally 6 rows in right column

2. You should use coconut in row 5 and move it up, so it will attack row 2,3,4 (if row 2,3,4 have hole it will make easier to crack another wall)

3. try to make horizontal stripe as many as you can

4. try to make vertical stripe in below screen, so it hope when there is luck, it will move to right column

5. rainbow + stripe or stripe + wrapped candy is awesome combo for this level. but trust me you need REALLY BIG LUCK to have this combo (no skill needed)

6. Try to kill some tornado by blow with wrapped or by stripe.. it will help you to gain another combo if not many tornado disturb you in left side. but do not kill them all since it also help you to crack the wall in the right side.

7. The last is.... PRAY before play. because this level only need LUCK LUCK LUCK LUCK

Good luck ^^V

I did not find this game as difficult as I expected and read about. It seems that most time bombs always had jellies around them that allowed me to eliminate them. I also found opportunities for color bombs and stripes.

I ended a game with 2 jellies below the final ingredient and I had two unused lollipops that I had saved. Done.

I'm guessing I was really lucky.
Good luck!! PM

AlettaMotion said...

I had 3 moves left and allready brought down 2 of the 3 ingrediënts.
The third one never came?

AlettaMotion said...

Oke.
I was stuck for 2 months at level 410 and I heard someone talking about 417, being a more disaster.
This level took me 1 evening.
I used 1 lolly pop hammer (I got that one for free).
(for level 410 I needed 4 lolly pop hammers :p)

Tips:

- Use the tornado's in your profit. Don't kill them, they destroy most of the obstacles.
- Beware of the bombs.
- Don't try to make any color stripe/packed candy (or other) combinations. You don't need them to pass this level.

I think the tornadoes aren't that bad. Sometimes they're actually really sweet, for killing the almost exploding bombs :).

Good luck everybody!

thanhtam23 said...

@AlletaMotion: the key point here is you need very very much lucky to pass this level, you don't know the tornadoes will explode bomb for you or not. Sometimes, it even prevents you to do that then boooom, you loose 1 life :) And you really cannot "kill" the tornadoes, if you do that, it make no sense, they will come back after 3 or 4 moves. Besides, how can you pass this level without combinations???

mk said...

@AlletaMotion, I do not agree you do not need combinations to win. How do you suggest the right side be cleared since there are several layers of jelly? Face it, if you did not have the hammer you would not have beat this level so for those like myself who have never used any booster and have gotten to this level, perseverance and MOST of all luck RULES!!

Anonymous said...

I keep getting game over even when I have a lot of moves left and no bombs ready to explode. This is the end for me. I have played this game since last year back when nobody was playing it and I had to pay for tickets. But it's getting that it is no longer any fun.

Nicholas said...

@AlletaMotion Come back when you have a stripe+wrapped on the right, all cream cleared and all fruits on the right side, and you don't use the combination WTH
I managed a few colour bomb+cocnut wheel coincidence. This removed one layer of ALL cream. Are you sure that you will obey that "no combination rules"?
Believe me if you get lucky, those combo will come by themselves and you can beat it. What it takes is no strategy but extreme luck.

I love when I come on and see lots of comments...means I'm not going throuh a "dumb moment"...I only tried this with my last life on PC, BECAUSE THEY WON'T UPDATE IPHONE!!!! So I'm here while I wait for lives!! WTF!! GET WITH THE PROGRAM programmers AND UPDATE iphone!!!...I find I can relax on iphone and have limitless lives, plus when stuck on levels you can get yr brain into a rythym and strategize!!
Now for this level and having read all the comments. I so love the come backs to Alleta Motion...if this person wants you to believe you don't need combos..she's full of it..One game and I hardly broke thru the right wall. Yes the tornado can hit a bomb and I was down to 1sec and killed one, but it also killed a lot of my combos like everyone is saying. 410 was a nightmare and it was pure luck that within 8 moves I got two choc/stripe combos and killed this game after a week of trying!! I thought CC was over for me as I've never taken that long. So i will take the pointers above and I'll be back when I get thru...if I get thru...wasting turns killing bombs will probably see me thru haha. AND I also agree with a comment above, I think they put levels like this in to slow us down!! Funny thing is having a few easy levels prior to this I knew a stinker was coming..luck all...and come back and let us know when you pass...cheers Marie
oh p.s. I have a few friends stuck on dreaded 350..!! remember that folks...oh dear. I've passed them all and they were so far in front of me..so I feel kinda pleased with 'moi' and I'm told Candy Crush war is on between us lol..but i'm too far in front to care hehe

Anonymous said...

Oh yeah Aleta Motion or whoever you are...lets not kill the tornadoes 'cause they will kill the bombs!! right....your'e advice was crap...your'e talking a load of crap!! 5 games in a row I got killed off and the last game I was more than half way thru the right wall and had to waste a choc freck I was saving to no avail!! When you get lucky, if you do....savor it...when you can't get thru a level don't come on here posting stupid theories as it's impossible on this stupid persons comments

Anonymous said...

♥ Aleta says not to use any combinations which is wrong. I finally got this after a day and half. Combinations are key! I was lucky to get striped and wrapped over to the right side and clear up some jelly. I had 6 moves left! What a miracle. I just kept trying. Luck will eventually be on your side.

Anonymous said...

Thanks anonymous at 5.23 am! I don't want to give up but after about 30 tries i'm getting annoyed. Managed to get close twice with all my fruit sitting there a few moves away...buying extra moves I feel is futile cause the tornado might come and block me anyway. I'll try for a miracle too but I am not enjoying this and I do like a challenge but trying to set something up or hoping to make a good combo is usually wrecked...grrr

Anonymous said...

I freaking hate this level. I plan a move, and can be sure the tornado will make it impossible to do it. I get a striped and wrapped candy and get set to detonate, and the tornado ruins it. I swear it knows my next move because it is thwarted each time. I HATE IT! I have played it about 100 times and I only have managed to get 2 acorns to the bottom once. I sometimes can't even get any candies beyond the 2nd row in the right side. Beginning to see an end to this game. What's the point of playing if there is no strategy involved.

AlettaMotion said...

Damn people, learn to spell my name. If you're not able to do that, I can understand why you can't pass this level. It's called : being stupid.

I was just explaning how I accomplished this level. Maybe I had just luck, but you don't need to be pissed at me for my way of playing.
I was just trying to help, that's all.

AlettaMotion said...

And -‘๑’- /3®¶tÙ‰ -‘๑’- ,
You are right, you don't know that the tornadoes will kill the bombs, but sometimes they do, and that is the luck.

But if you don't kill the tornadoes, the next thing will help you:
You have 40 moves, and 6 tornadoes. 40 x 6 = 240. The tornadoes will be in 240 different spots in the level, killing the candy or obstacles. They will make it hard for you on the left side, because there you are trying to make combo's and stuff, but on the right side they will help you, by destroying the obstacles.
That's all I was trying to say.

Anonymous said...

I see in the videos that the tornadoes wont go away with the stripes candies...but is not like that when I do it

whats wrong??

Ontploffer! said...

what a stupid level! even not playable!

well Anonymous from 7 sep. at 8.06 am...This level is so stupid that I leave this game. The makers of this game are so insane, they don't know what they can make the funny...so leave the game and get a life

This level is just as stupid as it gets. You can't plan any moves. The tornadoes will wipe them all away. And the bombs too? What the ef? How can they possibly publish this level? Someone needs to get fired!

Why this level have screen for choice bording or not in the last live? This is not bording, this is total stupid level. Pls King's develop update the choice to Stupid.

To Aletta....you got dumb freaking lucky...don't call us stupid..we would't be at this level if we were!! Just count your blessings!! On the other hand I'm waiting for the update on iphone and have only played this level about 20 times as I hate playing on FB 5 games at a time and waiting...prefer to go back and achieve higher scores or more stars which has been a lot of fun actually. I will get this stupid level out...got a few fruit through, just a few moves away from this totally ridiculous level..I'LL GET DUMB LUCKY LIKE MORTON BUG DID cause there's no freakin skill in this crapola!!

Anonymous said...

does anyone know what happens to extra lives on facebook, if you accept them they don't add on if you have 5 lives and if you don't accept them does that mean you loose them? On my iphone I can save them????? pls if you know let me know thanks via my email missbrissy@gmail.com

Ontploffer! said...

The only thing we can do is: send a email to the maker of this game and only then we can make the game again playable!!!!

Anonymous said...

I agree with everyone. This is a very stupid level. Whoever came up with this idea is/are totally sick in their minds. All they do is to destroy almost any chance for you to clear a bomb, or create any special candy by jumping right in front of you. There's very little chance to pass. Is that what they want?

Anonymous said...

Als er niets asan gedaan wordt ben ik weg...wat een klotespel is het geworden!

Anonymous said...

I just love the new feature at the end of one of your failed attempts - did you find this level good or boring? Unfortunately my choice of response was not an option - it is as boring as shit.

The level is preposterous. I have come nowhere near. Bombs explode, and if I can defuse them in one move, the tornado screws up one of the colours almost without fail.

Alas, this sums up King.com. A money-grabbing enterprise that stops at nothing to squeeze your cash from you. Let's make the level ridiculously hard and prey on the weak-minded and addicted players who MUST pay for boosters and what-not to succeed. Well, you ain't getting a penny out of me, nor another minute of my life playing your mindless game any more.

Good luck to those who can still stomach making the one unnecessary move in the left-hand column and hoping it does something beneficial. Other than that, you're doomed to fail.

Ontploffer! said...

Good Bye Loosers maklers of Candy Crush!!! You're really insane!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

omg AFTER so many attempts and trust me I didn't spend minute after minute on this ridiculous level I managed to get this out. I went days without playing cause THEY WON'T UPDATE IPHONE...and playing on FB is boring with 5 lives. I just logged in as I had messages and wanted to unlock eps for peeps etc., I had extra moves and used them...played one dumb lucky game and saw an opening finally on right side where I could make moves and then I get an apple in and look for the others only to realise that they were in and I look and see a tick!! and SUGAR CRUSH...what a stupid level but. Did nothing differrent just kept making combos and tried to let them go over to right side where I could. I had a couple of moves to spare so the extra moves prob helped...but yay yay. Good luck and don't give up cause if i got it u will

Anonymous said...

false alarm, there was an update on iphone but it didn't move past 410 grrrr

Anonymous said...

i tried a different approach and it worked. i was able to get the pink donut wheels to drop over to the right window and used them to shoot vertical stripes down. this way, it does more damage to alot more of the blocks. i hope this helps.

Anonymous said...

i absolutely hate this level. i have gotten to the part of bringing 2 ingredients down, with 15 moves left, and the 3rd ingredient never came out. i thought this was a mistake, so i tried the level all over again, and came to the same conclusion. the 3rd ingredient never came out! what the hell!

Anonymous said...

kan er een update komen!!!!!!!!!!!!???????

Anonymous said...

The third ingredient only seems to come out when you have just 10 moves left.

The thing with the donut wheel is inconclusive. I have tried to activate them both from their starting square, so they take out 3 rows of cream (top row is most important). And I have tried to only activate it with another stripe, so it takes every row on the right-hand side. I have never been able to activate them both with stripes though because the friggin' tornadoes nearly always screw me over.

Anonymous said...

kortom...a shit level

Anonymous said...

This is by far, the most frustrating level yet. The developers are just greedy and messing with us. Seriously, 6 tornadoes!? Only one move at a time - we cannot attempt to make special candies. Along with that, we have bombs and multiple layers of cake to get through. IMPOSSIBLE. I refuse to spend any more money on Candy crush until they fix this level. I see nothing but complaints about this level, they need to take a hint! NO FUN!

Anonymous said...

Freaking stupid level. This level is programmed in such a way that you only have one or two moves each time so they are ultimately controlling the game. Seems pointless to me. Every time I have a move planned boom it's gone. And I have had the same problem as a few others. One time I had about 15 moves left and the third hazelnut never came down. So pissed.

Anonymous said...

Check the credentials of the person who 'designed' this level. They should be fired. WTH kind of level is this anyways?!? Challenging is so great but this!?!? I would classify this level as an epic FAIL.

Anonymous said...

The tornadoes actually help a lot, they clear the jelly and will sometimes take out a bomb. This level only took about 10 lives to complete for me!

Ontploffer! said...

Just do like me, send every day an email to: candycrush@support.king.com with the link :http://candycrushsagaallhelp.blogspot.nl/2013/06/candy-crush-saga-level-417.html

ask them to read it, maybe this will help

I never thought this day would come, but I am no longer addicted to this game thanks to level 417. A 2 year old could play this since all you have to do is click. The game pretty much tells you where to click and there is usually only one or two spots. Nothing much happens, because the tornadoes take all the special candies out. And if they don't, they let a bomb go to ZERO and blow it up. This is NO FUN....I didn't even use up all 5 of my lives today. Going to bed and sleeping seems like a much better idea than to deal with this nonsens

Anonymous said...

I'm joining the many, many players in this blog who are calling it a day. This level is just a nonsense. Any decent moves that become available are just destroyed by the tornadoes.
I managed to clear two of the nuts in one game but the third nut failed to descend.
If this level is not fixed - and I will check this blog from time to time - my Candy Crush days are over!

Shawn said...

Twister candy do destroy blocks and sometimes time bombs, but I still HATE it!
You need so much luck because of so few choices, (one or two most of the time) and you prey for miracles!

Shawn said...

Even though I hate this level, it is doable.I beat it finally after over 50+ fails and was stuck for more than 24 hours!

Here is some tips:
1. Try to survive from the time bombs! I usually can survive 1 in 3 tries to the last move (40th). Funny thing is, once you get to the last move, you will see it's very close to beat it, usually one or two fruits left. That gives you some hope instead of despair.

2. Use the wheel wisely. I usually use one on the first three lays of the right blocks, and the other one at the bottom.
Wheel on strips are good. It gives you 6 stripped candies instead of 3. Wheel on top of the right board also good. But the reality is, it's very hard to do.

3. Even though I hate twister candy, I have to admit it is your friend on this level. It destroys the bricks and let the fruits flow down. If you can survive to the last move, you will see it doesn't matter that much whether you use the two wheels perfectly or not.

4. Always bring the fruit to the bottom as soon as possible. Because you want them to drop first when the path on the right is open!

5. Make horizontal striped candies as many as possible, and it is the second priority of any moves. (the first is eliminating the time bombs)

6. Stick to the plan above, and cross your finger. The miracle will come!

I haven't taken the time to read all the comments others have written, but I did see the hint to use the wheels ASAP, and the reason why they should be used. In one respect, that is a valid hint; however, please know that if the wheel combined with a horizontal stripe, it will create a horizontal striped candy across each and every row, and then activate that row across to the other side. This is the absolute most benefit you can get from that wheel - IF - you can get lucky enough to get a striped candy next to the wheel. If not, then you'll wish you had rolled the wheel early (as in the hint), because rolling it later only breaks the bricks at the bottom and does not allow candies or fruits to flow down. Good Luck everyone! - Evelyn (PS - Don't cross the wheel against a wrapped candy - as it creates all wrapped candies - which do NOTHING to dispense of bricks on the right side!)

Anonymous said...

One more observation to share: The timed candies only drop down from the left and right columns, and they can't drop down at all until the wheels are dislodged from their original positions. After the wheels have dropped down (or been used), you get one timed candy for each and every candy destroyed in the right and/or left column. This means that if you destroy a column of 3, 4, or 5 candies in either of those right or left columns, you will get an equal number of timed candies dropping down. The more timed candies you have, the more you will need to divert your attention to destroying those timed candies instead of lining up to get horizontal stripes. . . THUS, if you can work primarily in the center two columns to get your vertical lineups for the horizontal stripes, you will get more efficient use of your moves. . . Luck is a huge factor here, but when possible, but if you get choices at all - keep this strategy in mind?? - Evelyn

Passed this level with pure luck on last move ... it's annoying when it's luck not skill involved.

Anonymous said...

If you're lucky enough, combine the donut with stripes vertically to make the whole column stripes. Still this is a stupid level which is all luck, luck, luck. No skills.

Anonymous said...

This level is totally controlled. Every move is dictated by the tornadoes. If you set up a moe it is always blocked.
Almost every time I play there is no choice - only one move available each turn.
I will only pass this level when candy crush decides it is time!

Anonymous said...

My game ends at 410, I've updated and still have no new levels. Why is that?

Anonymous said...

So annoyed by this level... as everyone else said, the tornadoes take out most, if not all, of the decent moves I set up for myself, especially wrapped and striped candy. I get that King needs to make it more difficult so people don't pass as easily so they aren't at the end of the game waiting for more levels, but this is ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

Because this level has been f***ing stupid I've gone back and replayed some of the earlier levels and that reminded me why I loved playing this game. It was fun, you had to use skill, plan your moves. This level is nothing like that. This level has nothing to do with skill and has none of the fun that the earlier levels did. No fun no more.

Anonymous said...

Agree with most of the comments on this blog... that being lucky is the best tool you have on this level! Of the many levels that I have battled through to get here, level 417 sticks in my mind like 350 and 410... there is always a stinker in there to frustrate.

I have used many of the 'strategies' that people have noted here (coconut wheels on the first three levels of the right, and as many horizontal striped candies as I can muster around the tornadoes) and have come close on many occasions, but not close enough (that is, two out of the three fruit many times). I have never managed to get a striped candy with the coconut wheel.

I am positive that I will get there eventually. May the odds be forever in your favour!

Anonymous said...

This is the most frustrating level. I hate it! I don't mind having to work to get past a level and I've paid for extra moves. But this is just stupid. Think I'm now done with candy crush... we had a good run...

Oh my god !! Candy crush was random and pure luck at level one. The odds were judtore in ones favour. The level has a problem. When I have no moves the bag does not come out and shake up my candy. Everything sits there and I have no move. this has happened twice. I have to reload and lose a life.

What do I gain when I play to level 417 and became champions in every previous episodes is weight.
I am interested to know how popular this level players voted for. Only King.com can tell.

Anonymous said...

I resolved never to download a King.com app a long time ago and this level has just reinforced that. Would love to know how they think this kind of levels adds to the player experience. When you have got this far you really do not want a level which is entirely down to luck. The tornados are a ridiculous addition and it seems the developers are really clutching at straw in ways to make you purchase add ons, something I will never do

Anonymous said...

stupid level, has nothing to do with strategy, just luck, wish they remake this level because it is no fun playing this....

Anonymous said...

Is anybody else using an iPad (2 not updated yet) having problems with this level. The problem is with the special candies and reshuffling. Example, on several occasions I have had a wrapped and striped move available and it said no more moves and reshuffled. Then I had a chocolate bomb and a striped, same thing. This has happened enough times now I have noticed it only does it when there are no solid moves left. Very very frustrating to say the least. But I am not on Facebook or on a PC so I am stuck, if I reload the game I lose everything. Is anyone else experiencing this?! Thanks! Deb

Anonymous said...

Goodbye Candycrush, I have now deleted the game from everything I own and will never be returning to it, thanks to this level. I think everyone before have pretty much summed it up - it adds nothing to the player experience, and most certainly isn't a "fun challenge" when you design the game to be frustratingly stupid and only dependent on dumb luck.

Archer said...

Hi everyone, till now i always took comments on the unsolvable levels. This 417 is definitely one of them. Just now I completed it, probably with a lot of luck and little amount of tricks. What I felt will probably help:
-- Try to create a color and match with a stripe
-- Try matching striped with wrapped
-- Save the coconut wheel till it reaches the other panel

For me, two sets of stripe + wrapped did the trick...

Anonymous said...

I did it after two days. I'm so happy. I had two color ball/striped combinations plus a striped/wrapped before and still ran out of moves. So I thought I would never be able to beat this one. But suddenly, when I already thought, this game was lost as well, a block in the middle of the right column got cleared and the hazelnuts all zig-zagged down and disappeared. It was plain amazing. :-) And that time I didn't even have so many combinations, just a few striped.

A good thing is you can restart the game as many times as you want. Before you make your first move, of course. I tried to start with a wheel/striped combination (you have to be able to make a stripe right under one of the wheels, so the wheel will fall above it) and I think it helped. Good luck to you, just keep trying, you will succeed eventually. - Gabi

Anonymous said...

Beat this level on iPad 2, no boosters. All you need is three things! Luck, luck and freaking luck! Good luck! Preseverance is also the key to beat this one.

Anonymous said...

I agree with whoever said that you will complete this level when King decides you will complete this level. I have had every one of my games blow up with a time bomb whenever I get close - the tornadoes make sure I can't get rid of the bomb. There is absolutely no skill involved in defeating this level. Extremely frustrating and almost enough to make me give up the game.

Anonymous said...

Thanks to the fellow iPad 2 person and everyone :) I did get through it a few games later, but the glitch is still there on the later levels, I guess I should have been clearer.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem on this level, after posting the above post I dug a little deeper and saw it mentioned on this site level 410, kinda surprised king.com hasn't fixed this glitch with an update. It has just started with this latest saga. Have a great day! Deb

Anonymous said...

I hated this more than any other level I've done. I was only stuck for two days, but it was a mindless, no strategy two days. I finally ended up getting everything with one move to go thanks to a striped/candy bomb combo.

Good riddance.

Anonymous said...

I hate this level. Not because it took so long to defeat (took me 2 days), but because it's the least fun level in Candy Crush. ZERO strategy. It's all luck. Took nearly 40 tries, but I managed to get very lucky when the tornadoes arranged the grid into a stepladder shape. Plop, plop, plop, the candies dropped.

Anonymous said...

WTF, the person who design it is a little boy playing with us.......

Anonymous said...

Wow, I never thought this would happen. A little while after I woke up this morning, I suddenly remembered that I would have a full set of lives...but I didn't feel like playing! This level is just so incredibly BORING. Boring, boring, boring. Surely this is breaking some cardinal rule of game development?

Bill. said...

Just completed I quite enjoyed the challenge took about twenty attempts. Pink rollers first then just look for combinations. Concentrate on rhs asap. Bombs biggest pest whirls can help.

Anonymous said...

Ok third time the board was reshuffled when I was just about to swap a wrapped candy with a striped one. WTF? Anyone else having this problem? Can't take anymore frustration and I have been pretty patient up until this level. Goodbye.

Saw a few comments regarding lost lives and thought maybe some of you don't know the trick yet,

If you want free lives and you are on your phone or tablet.
Go into settings
set the clock forward a month (or any amount of time)
open the game to check you got your free lives
go back into settings and switch it back to automatic time.

No more waiting or bullshit!

Everytime I come here to get some advice to pass a level I find the same negative posts: “I quit”, “stupid King” and things like that. I have found so many frustrating levels on the way, and it always seems the most difficult, but when you get through that sensation disappears. I learnt to trust Candy Crush, if you don’t find any challenge on your way this would be so boring. I have to say that I’m thankful to get stuck sometimes. So please, stop using this to complain and writing helpless posts. This level is very frustrating, but I’ve been very close many times. And listen to this: if you’re able to put a coconut wheel on the right side, it can be more useful than any other movement. Try.

Anonymous said...

Hey Facebook has added extra coconut wheels to make this level easy! Try it there. Android will never work.

Tracey@ODC said...

Do it in the computer. You only need to get 1 acorn down as opposed to on the phone. Did it first go.

Anonymous said...

Finally beat this stupid level! Here's how: combine both coconut wheels with a striped candy vertically. This will make the wheels create 6 rows of striped candies instead of just three. The level becomes easy from there on.
Once I figured out that the coconut wheel / stripped candy combo creates 6 striped rows, I beat the level in one try.

Anonymous said...

417 is easily the most frustrating level so far. I almost quit.

After over a 100 attempts on the mob app I finally got through by purchasing 5 extra moves and using the lollipop hammer. But you need to get close and pray the tornadoes don't sabotage your clever moves. Use the coconut wheels to wipe as many cream block then mix all the striped and wrapped candies you can. All the best!

Anonymous said...

stuck on this level.
have try many tactic but need multiple luck at the same time.

I have tried to combine coconut + stripe twice and reduce two layer but still was kill by the bomb. I do believe if one try many times, you will overcome it BUT I cannot help laughing when I saw the comment from the subsequent level. It seems that 419 is again a stupid level requiring most luck. I am tire of spending my time on a slot machine game.

Anyway, thanks to the candy crush as it gave me 416 levels free.

Anonymous said...

This is the worst, I cleared all of the jelly and put in $10, the last nut never came! I give up. Leaving this stupid game!

Anonymous said...

Don't use the pink rolls if you don't have to, wait for one of them to go all the way down so it ends up in the top of the right side, try to get it either in the left or in the right corner, not in the middle. then make sure that there is 3 normal candies next to it and play it horizontally. That's way more effective than playing it vertically from the left side. Ofcourse, you need a lot of luck, but u need to use your brains to make a good strategy too! It's not "the dumbest level ever because it's only about luck". I have come to this level without using a single extra booster exept for those you get for free in the beginning of the game. There has been a lot of frustrating levels that has made me wanna quit but eventually i've figured out a working strategy and the luck has been on my side as well. This level is not impossible or dumb just because it's difficult.

bobskin said...

this level is so mind numbingly boring i ask myself why bother?Irealise i'm playing for the sake of it and nothing else, what a complete waste of time.
To make matters worse it asks you for your opinion with that 'funometer' thing,i wish it had crap as an option.

Anonymous said...

Step 1: concentrate on releasing, then using, the pink wheels. Attempt to get them lined up so the horizontal striped candies go across and hit lines 2, 3,4 of the right hand column.

Step 2: from then on, just concentrate on staying alive by eliminating the colour bombs, while the tornados wipe out the chocolates. Dont bother concentrating on making strped horizontal candies, but use them if there is an opportunity.

Step 3: be patient! It doent take much to get the nuts down once you are able to work on the right hand column, and that doesnt happen until you have about 15 moves, or less, left.

Jen said...

Totally agree with Cebollix...Cant understand people complaining...If they made it any easier, we'd all be twiddling our thumbs by now...I've been on this a few days now, but still enjoying it. Makes me laugh everytime I set up a combo and they bomb it!! But then, that's the challenge...Enjoyed level 350 too even thought it took me 5 weeks to complete!! Stop moaning, and enjoy ;)

Anonymous said...

After about a week of trying, I'm trying a new strategy. I'm not using the donut until I get it over to the right side of the board to maximize the number of blocks I hit. Haven't got it yet but I'm getting closer than when I focus on just the top three rows.

Anonymous said...

My tactic is

At the very begining :

-using donut + stripe to reduce 1 layer

- using another donut to attack the row 2 to 4

Thoughtout the game :

- do not attack tornado, let them help you to remove the stones

- create stripe as many as possible

Jen said...

Thanks to some good advice on here, did this one after 3 days...the best advice was to get pink donut over to the right hand side as it clears a lot more than if you do the horizontal ones on the left hand side...and ofcourse, a bit of luck!! ;) Good luck everyone

Anonymous said...

I always read these blogs and it looks to me like the developers actually improve things before I ever get to the level. In earlier posts, everyone is frustrated and ready to quit. In more recent blogs people have passed it. On my second try, the tornadoes had cleared a path on the right side and two ingredients pinballed themselves to the bottom and were gone. I ran out of moves before I could get the third one. It was about 5 rows up. I think 35 moves is not enough. Perhaps the developers need to make it 40? We've all made it this far and that in itself is a feat! I still have not bought boosters, though I came close on level 410. Actually had my credit card in hand!

Anonymous said...

Can someone tell me about the supposed extra coconut wheels on Facebook? Someone mentioned that in an earlier post. Someone else said you only need to get one ingredient to the bottom on Facebook as well. I tried last night on my PC and everything was identical to my phone!

Jen said...

Don't dot it! @ buying boosters...Ive not, and wont, feel like its cheating ;) Thing is, these levels now have to be harder as we will run out of games...My facebook level 417 was the same as on my tablet as someone recently mentioned. Honestly, if you can get past Level 350, then this one is a doddle...360 took me 5 weeks!!

a7mad.3ezz said...

this level is 90% skill with 10% luck .. even if it appears to be 100% luck ..

it is difficult, so pay attention and wait for openings .. once you break through some cream blocks, you are in for a win !

Anonymous said...

Was there an update that made this level easier than before? I was stuck at this level for about a 6 weeks. Only came close once or twice out of maybe 100 times. Lost interest and was only playing sparingly past 3 weeks. I played about 4 games today and each time I came close. I passes it on my fifth attempt.

Anonymous said...

Passed this level today after reading all tips and strategies. This level is totally controlled by the soda cyclones! These cyclones destroy your every good move but it was not as difficult as level 350 or some other levels.
Some tips that might help you pass:
1. There are 2 frozen coconut wheels in the left and right columns, when you unfreeze those and use those wheels, time bombs will start falling as above them are bomb dispensers.
2. Unfreeze the right coconut wheel first, if you can combine it with a striped candy and roll it downwards to make horizontal stripes the better. Eliminate the middle to the lowest blockers doen below.
3. Unfreeze the second coconut wheel on the left. Let it fall to the lowest row of the board. Better if you can match it with a striped candy you get 6 striped candies and eliminate more blockers. Roll it upward.
4. Those are 4-hit and 3-hit blockers in the right part of the board so concentrate on clearing those. You do not need to clear every block though as the 3 ingredients will just pass thru the openings!
5. Watch out for bombs you must eliminate them before the cyclones does damage, they will place these bombs on places where you have no moves. I lost the level a lot of times to these bombs trapped everywhere.
6. Take your time before doing a move don't be in a hurry. Be smarter than the soda cyclones. I made a color bomb but I already cleared the level without using it. You can pass this level without boosters. Played this on iphone using it in a landscape orientation if that trick helps because using it in portrait position i lost levels and have not even unfreezed the coconut wheels! Good luck hope that helps. -LEI

Anonymous said...

I just got to three moves left (before a bomb exploded) and the third ingredient still hadn't dropped, anyone else had this problem?

Anonymous said...

This level takes pure luck, no skill needed! You will rarely have more than one move possible so just take it and hope for the best. It took me around 80 games to pass this level and there was nothing special about the game I won. In fact, for a second I thought a bomb exploded when I couldn't make another move, I didn't realize I had won.

Anonymous said...

I did all sort of combos, coconut+striped, coconut+freckled(gives the whole row of striped candies), striped+freckled, striped+wrapped, just no luck!!! The bombs keep exploding, and tornados seem to spoil the good moves. This level is boring, worse than all the ones I was stuck before. At lvl 410 it was at least possible to calculate moves ahead, here you cannot plan anything as tornados spoil it. Stupid level! I even earned lollipops on facebook and used them, no luck :(

Anonymous said...

I'm beginning to think this level is impossible! I had all three ingredients on top of each other, with one candy standing between them and freedom! I ran out of moves. I am so tempted to break down and buy lollipop hammers. I have probably played 100 games by now. I've tried every strategy mentioned. Using the coconut wheels across the tops rows of merangue seem to work the best. The bottom seems to clear on it's own. That's all I've got for now!

Anonymous said...

I have finally just passed this level after much frustration - and how I did it - pure luck I just got some really good moves - truth be told I was on the phone and was not really concentrating on what I was doing. One trick I did find was that I would not anticipate a move until the tornadoes had moved - this lessened my frustration when they messed up the move I had planned. Good Luck.

Anonymous said...

TO THE DEVELOPERS:
We all know that tornadoes never hit the ingredients so the game recognizes certain aspects. I have played enough times to see that once we work the right side of the board and actually have moves over there, the tornadoes directly attack our potential combos. I know they also land in the blank spaces occasionally. Could you please give us a chance and revamp the game so the tornadoes on the right concentrate more on clearing the merangue and less on trying to mess up what players are doing? Hard does not even come close to describing this level. I like a challenge but this seems almost impossible. Thanks King, from a CC fan.

If I wanted to play a stupid slot machine that is all luck I'd play that.... Silly me for wanting to play a strategy game! I hope they ditch the stupid tornado soon!!! I hate them.

417 is just a dyslexic 147!!! LOL Both levels are the worst of the entire game!

Anonymous said...

I agree with bobskins comment. What it needs on the meter is crap!!!!!! No skill here and as the comments above its for the dyslexic.!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Is it worth $5 to stop being frustrated and start having fun again? I think so. Use the wheels right away to get at the top 3 rows of cream (use the right wheel first). Don't let the wheels drop below the top 3 rows of cream because you want 2 whacks at those rows. Then keep the bombs diffused to stay alive and let the tornados break through the top cream til you can start using candy combos to chip down the right side. You'll get very close at the end. Then c'mon, buy a couple of extra lives and a hammer or two and get on with it! Then you won't have to rant here and you can move on and have fun.

Anonymous said...

It's like they don't even give you a chance.

Anonymous said...

Seriously it's hard enough with six cyclones, are the bombs really necessary. I never use boosters as I regard that as the cheats way. Guess I will wear the screen out on my ipad soon. LOL. Good luck everyone.

Anonymous said...

After hours of this level i think its time to say goodbye bombs bombs bombs then only one move i have used extra moves but it still isnt good enough for King games

Anonymous said...

After a week of playing hundreds of times, I finally passed this level! I did not use boosters. I ended with one star and 3 lives left. I'm just happy to be done! I got lucky as I had all the ingredients on the right. I got two vertical stripes. One cleared a lane and two ingredients fell through. The last ingredient was on the right, on top of merangue. I couldn't move it over so I figured I would lose yet again. I fired off the other vertical stripe down the same open lane and it sucked the ingredient along with it! I don't care if I only got one star! This is one level I will never play again!

Anonymous said...

I have never said this before but I think it's time I quit :(

I finally passed this level after 200+ attempts. I knew that all I needed was luck and I wasn't wrong. I had been stuck for more than three weeks, but it was last week that I started using a new strategy, which was I started a game only when it gave me a perfect starting setup where you can make a horizontal striped candy right below one of the coconuts. Then, as the second move, you can switch the coconut and the striped candy that will make 6 horizontal blasts. It's small difference, but I think it was worth trying. I just went back if I didn't get this setting. On average, it took 20~30 attempts I guess. Even though strategies might help, however, I think still you need a lot of luck to pass this level. If someone thinks they were clever enough to pass this level thanks to their strategies and tactics while others are struggling because they are unwise, I would say they are wrong. I have to admit even with the strategy I mentioned above, it was pure luck I was able to pass it today. So again, all you need is luck. Good luck to everyone.

Anonymous said...

One more thing, it would be really good if you could use the coconut on the right side vertically. But I figured out it was actually not worth to aim that, since along the way, even if the coconut doesn't get activated unintentionally, usually the ingredient arrived there earlier than the coconut, or the coconut falls in a 2nd of 3rd line instead of staying in its original line, so you could not make the most of it. Actually I tried this tons of times but succeeded to make more than one vertical blasts only two times, in which I still failed to pass the level because of time bombs afterwards.

Anonymous said...

All I can say is don't let it beat you. I seriously thought of giving in after a week or so but finally I got through with three moves left. No boosters and completed on the ipad. Hooray I'm moving on.

After a frustrating day trying over and over again i google it and found an amazing tip that help me a lot, try to pass the gum to the righ side board and activate them horizontally. I just finished this level after 2 tries, i had luck coz the tonados didnt activate the gum before i could pass them to the righ side. Try it out and cross your fingers...

I learned that if you don't break open the pink candies on the top left n right the bombs won't come... just wait it out n try n make lots of horizontal candies to take out as much of the wall as possible before breaking open the pink ones.

Anonymous said...

I don't understand this level at all. I have no say in playing the game as the game only allows me usually one move or very very rarely two moves at all. Therefore the game is playing me? I think this may be the end unfortunately of a game I love as I never even get to break the creams across from me to see how the game can develop as a bomb always finishes me off early. My he game ends then not through my carelessness but because there is no possible move to kill the bomb!

What a shame this level lets the game down so badly.

I will go up to about 100/150 games then will have to leave it.

I'm finally done with this dumpster fire of a level. I play on the iPhone, and have never used a booster in getting this far.

It's doable, but the game simply has to let you win, as there's very little room for strategizing, with all the garbage thrown into this level like the twisters and 6-move bombs. All you can do is put yourself into the best possible position for luck to take its course.

You do this by using the coconut wheels to blast the top 3 rows of blockers, as soon as possible. If you can only get the top 2 rows, don't worry about it. Sometimes blasting the top row helps, as it may give you a move that wasn't initially there.

No matter what you do, more than half the time, the bombs will get you anyway. I've had many promising setups ruined by bombs cutting my games short. And if the bombs don't frustrate you in any given game, it's likely that the twisters will.

I've seen many comments saying to give up if you don't get X, Y or Z immediately. I disagree. The game I eventually won, I didn't have that great of an initial setup. I got the top 3 with one coco wheel, then the top 2. Then, the game allowed me a couple moves on the right side of the board, which RARELY happens. Somehow, then a couple vertical striped candies dropped into the right, and then, before I knew it, with 3 moves left, there was an unexpected explosion, and all the nuts magically fell to the bottom.

It wasn't really that great/special of a board. So I say, play on, even if the board looks unlikely at first. All it takes is a few lucky moves to get things going on the right side.

I am so busy fighting tornadoes and bombs, I forget to bring down ingredients...LOL. So, until I get a decent board (screen), I am playing get the bomb and beat the tornado...LOL. Good luck to me and good luck to you.

I am speechless, I got on level 417 last night and completed it today. I was shocked when all of the fruit went down. 3 stars and the 3rd highest score among my friends. Work the right side of the board as soon as you have enough moves to make matches. Once I was able to make a move there I just concentrated on that side trying to make matches and didn't pay attention to where the fruit was. Good Luck.

This level is bullshit, you can't make any decent combos to do any good before the spinners stuff it up,so how the hell can one pass this level, becoming bored with this,on thee verge of just deleting the bloody game, what were you thinking KING :(

This by far is the most tedious, boring level for me ever. No planning or skill needed, just patience. Been playing for a week with no luck, til the candy crush gods gave me 3 color bombs in a row. Spent 70 lives or so on this level.

Passed this level on pure luck. Just to give you an idea of how MUCH this is just luck, and not skill, I was playing this level for what seems like the millionth time, it was late at night so i was exhausted, so I was just absentmindedly moving candies around...and without even realizing it, I passed the level. I wasn't even TRYING at that point. Pure. Luck.

By the help of tornados, computer itself plays fucking game instead of players. There no needs damn skill.

Wimps. Took me half a day, and almost did it several times. The cyclones clear a lot of the right side for you.

Try and coconut the top so the top of the right side clears first. Then, there is room for candies to drop over there as gaps appear. Make some low vertical stripes at this point, and they will drop to the right side, also try and drop some wrapped low on the left to have them drop to the right.

I ended up with a striped-wrapped on the right side and that cleared enough diagonal holes to shoot the ingredients through.

FWIW, release one of the doughnuts, and let it fall to the bottom. Work back at the top to release the 2nd. Fire the second so that it creates horizontal fire, wiping out the top right row. This will drop the 1st doughnut to the top right. Use that to fire down the blocked row.

Played a few times this morning on phone. Got disgusted because I been on this level for a week. Threw my phone again, thinking impossible. Got on the computer Facebook, played one time, and beat it!!!!!! Don't ask me how. On the last move I made the one move I had and it sucked the last fruit down. Go figure. You win, when it lets you win.

Wow!! It's amazing to me how many people complained about this level. It's subpost to be hard. It's a game!!! That's what makes it fun. Keep trying you will eventually get past it like I did. Or maybe you should just stick with words with friends.

I'm still working on this level, but have found it interesting when I cross a wrapped candy with a coconut wheel. It leaves a string of wrapped candies, which detonate and wipe out much of the candies. Now, if only that could happen on the right side...:-)

This website is so helpful. Thanks for all of the ideas. I have passed several levels shortly after reading your posts. :-)

It seems all I'm doing is clearing the bombs. This level is just random, as other already wrote.
On top of that, it tells me "no more possible moves" when I do have moves left.
Think it's time to quit candy crush.

This level requires only dumb luck! I, apparently, am not one of the favorite players that get blessed with a lucky board. Although we have had past lucky-board levels, none were anywhere near the level of luck needed to get this board. It is virtually impossible to rid oneself of this level without the cooperation of King. Good luck all. I have set a 100 try level for this one. If I don't make it, the delete button will finally be hit! Can't believe I made it this far without boosters, only to get to a level that all of King's boosters would not help one bit. I so wanted to get to the end! But if I cannot move forward after 100 tries, I will finally go away.

Had to give in on this level and buy extra moves, there's no way of doing this level without being very very lucky or buying a booster, good luck to all.

Anonymous said...

Wow people! It's a game and the higher level, the harder it is. Yes, on this level you need luck, but you also have to be strategic when you can. Took me two weeks to move on to level 418 without boosters. It is possible. Don't give up.

Those twisters are NOT random. I rarely make it below 20 moves left because the twisters negate any chance of killing off the bombs every time. I also had it happen 2 times now where I had a striped and chocolate ball next to each other and the twisters wiped both pieces out. LOL This level has nothing to do with skill, it's just dumb luck, period. Hint to the developers: It's also very, very boring. The twisters alone or the bombs alone would have made this a hard level but both make it just boring and annoying.

I've never shouted so many expletives at tornadoes before and I'm not even from Kansas. Anyways I think this is where I'm giving up. I have 4 friends in front of me. 3 of them are this episode, 1 is on the next. I worked so hard to catch them but this level just isn't fun to play.

This level is an absolute joke, not fun!!
Have played on PC, iPad and iPhone, there have been other difficult levels.....but this one takes first prize.

now I know why they call them tornado's!! they always seem to blow up my moves...as soon as I go for that big move - in swoops the tornado and whisks it away..man..if I was only faster than a swirling tornado!!! it does seem easier on the laptop than on the tablet tho...just gotta keep going!

This has to be the most moronic level I've played on. I don't mind if a level is hard, but this is just stupid.

I've managed to get two out of three nuts down, then a bloody tornado is guaranteed to scupper the last couple of moves.

I've been playing on this less and less lately. If I don't complete this level by the end of the week I'm giving up on it and finding something more productive to do with my spare time.

Just uninstalled Candy Crush on my android phone, FB, and Desktop.
I'm so done. And I promise you I will never be back! It's not fun anymore when I can feel my blood pressure rise every time I play this level. I'll be much happier playing something else!

Strategy:
1. Pray
Try to let the coconut wheel to the right. I've only been able to do this once, which also happens to be the time I beat this terrible level.
2. Pray
3. Chocolate bomb+coconut wheel is extremely useful, but I've only had it for twice.
4. Pray
5. DO NOT MATCH WRAPPED WITH COCONUT. It is never useful.
6. Pray
7. Try to use the coconut wheel to strike the upper part of the right side if you can't put it there.
8. Pray
9. Make horizontal moves whenever possible. Sometimes, some horizontal stripes will appear 'cause of this. (PC) You need vertical moves on mobile.
10. Pray
11. Low vertical stripes and wrapped candies should be sent to the right before detonating.
12. Pray

This level totally stinks. How are you supposed to pass when all it does is blow up any moves you set up. You cannot plan or even work to make a combo because of this. I am sick of games that are basically entirely reliant on luck. Why would you keep playing knowing you are going to lose each time until the game decides to let you pass!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I agree. Impossible level without luck. I have reached this level without spending any money and can't even use extra moves that have been sent to me because I play on iPad. To me paying for hammers etc is not solving the puzzle so I refuse to do it. I will give it to Christmas and if I still haven't got past this level I will delete the game.

Anonymous said...

Wow. Hundreds of attempts on another level that will rely basically on a large amount of luck to pass. I refuse to spend money so it may be goodbye from me.

Anonymous said...

I agree with most of the comments above. A total waste of time unless you have nothing better to do than wait for a lucky board. Tornados wipe out anything useful you might make. Why bother!!!!!Thanks to this level, I am finished with this game.

Anonymous said...

just a bloody joke.! why would you bother with this game anymore!!!

Anonymous said...

Last day of trying as there is no fun after over a week of hundreds of attempts while relying basically on total luck to get a decent board in order to win this level. I think I will uninstall this game after that.Has to be the dumbest level invented as anytime you make a decent move the tornados come & just wipe it all out, except for the bombs ready to go off!!!

417 in one word is 'luck'. This may be where I give up CC.

Anonymous said...

Made it this far but I am now soooo bored to death and frustrated that I am about done!!!!! This level is flat out not beatable unless you spend countless BORING hours playing it!

Anonymous said...

Finally passed this level... this is what i learned. 1. Try to keep your ingredients together on the right side. 2. Match the coconut wheel with a striped and it turns the whole side of the board to stripes. 3. Work on the top of the right side first... ifu wittle it down you can get a special combo and all 3 (if kept together) will follow it down. Thats how i did it :)

Make a few moves (the only moves you CAN make that are not blocked), can't clear bomb, boom... game over. :<
