Tips for level 452 Candy Crush Saga.
This level has changed slightly since the video was made, the board is the same and the orders are the same.
ie: Make and explode 80 stripes of any colour.
But there are now no further mystery candies appearing as in the video once the first one has been used.
The mystery candies don't really make a lot of difference as they rarely give a colour bomb and quite often give bad things like bombs and icing.
The only way to complete the orders on this level is by matching a colour bomb with a stripe at least 3 or 4 times.
Try to avoid making wraps once the cream and chocolate is partly cleared and concentrate on what you need.
Colour bombs and stripes!
It's not a difficult level if you think carefully and don't let the chocolate take over.

UPDATE.
If you have a different board to the one shown follow this link to see the correct one

Hmm weird, I see your getting those questionmark eggs a lot. I only receive one at the beginning. Bug?

Anonymous said...

They must have changed the level so it only has the one at the beginning. All the videos posted of this level are from mid-August, and there have been a lot of people complaining about the problem of only one mystery egg starting this week in September. I don't know why they'd do that, it's practically impossible otherwise.

Anonymous said...

Yes, me too...the other videos show multiple mystery eggs popping up throughout the play and I too only have the one initially. Not fair to for the earlier players to have such an advantage. Is this a bug, again. If so please fix.

You need to make at least FOUR color bomb and stripped combos to beat this level.
Finally passed it with 2 moves left!

Anonymous said...

Spent ages on this level but cannot get many chocolate balls. What's the secret?

Mike C said...

I'm not sure if they've changed this level or what, but I passed it on my first try. Open up the board as quickly as possible and then just make color bomb/stripe combos.

Anonymous said...

Only played it once so far - no mystery eggs and no chance of making color bomb :( Oh well, guess I'll need a few more tries and hopefully a bit of luck.

Anonymous said...

Got it on the third time, yep make color bombs / stripe combos - I needed 4.

Anonymous said...

This is about the stupidest level ever. By the time you actually attempt to break through the bars and get rid of chocolate you only have a few moves left to attempt making color bombs and striped combos. This level frustrates me. The only time I came close was when I used like 3 boosters at the beginning and still felt like I Was too far away! Seriously how much money do they need to make to make a game enjoyable anymore. Seriously. I give up.

Anonymous said...

There is definitely only 1 special candy in this level, and a lot of the time, its not so special, (chocolate or 5 layers). The best I got in like 50 tries is 20 left. This is such a tough one. I spend too many moves trying to get the stripes next to the bombs. Killer level.

Lei said...

My goodness that was a difficult level! It took me a lot of lives to pass this level with 1 star but who cares i passed it! I even topped all my friends which was weird, it was that difficult.
Requirement: 80 striped candies in 40 moves
* I only had 1 mystery candy in the start of the game. Use that and hope it is a color bomb so you can make a color bomb + striped combo.

* With the number of striped candy required you must at least make your first color bomb + striped combo when you reach your 30th move. That was what I figured if you still have not made your first combo by 30th move then more or less you are not going anywhere.

* Make a color bomb first then do your best to make a striped next to it. Not the other way round.

* Remove the chocolate and locked candies so you have room to make combos and you would not be thinking about the chocolate covering everything. Focus.
Good luck!

Easy level. Completed on my first try. I mixed a colour bomb with a striped candy about 4 times and vuela! I don't know why you're all moaning about eggs, with only 4 colours it's so easy to make colour bombs

Anonymous said...

Smartass. It's not easy to make color bombs at all. Don't talk to us like we're beginners, when we have all reached level 452.

This level is another impossible level, unless you get lucky (or the game makers decide you have spent enough time and/or money...) and they throw you an easy one, with a chocolate bomb in the first easter egg and several more appearing conveniently close to striped candies.

This happened to me, too. Tried it 50+ times without even getting close and then finished the game with 12 moves left.

Bill. said...

Very tedious level need to have a clear board and then a lot of luck. Carefully look at each position before moving. Finished with one move left.

Anonymous said...

Haven't finished it yet but have come very close. My strategy, do not attempt to make striped candies until you've cleared almost all the cages and chocolate and made a color bomb. Avoid making wrapped candies unless you're pretty sure you can use it with a striped candy immediately to clear out cages and chocolates.

shadow said...

Finally After about 30 lives... I beat it! Focus on making color bombs first. The stripes are easy to get but ignore those until you get the color bombs first. I too only had 1 question mark candy, and was often frustrated when that turned into a block or worse, a chocolate! It is possible! I hope they update the android version soon, it only goes to level 440.I can only play on facebook so these take longer than they should. Facebook needs to update where we can have our envelope. That way extra lives we are sent aren't wasted... Just sayin'

Anonymous said...

Must have spend over 100 lives by now, but no luck. 4 chocoball/stripe combos doesn't do the job, need 5. But any chocoballs I make get destroyed or even eaten by chocolate. Very frustrating. Ready to quit.

Jennifer said...

These last few levels have been fun and this one was no exception, even though it was frustrating. I realized right away that the only way to beat it was a chocolate ball mixed with striped candies at least four times. So I set about playing smart. I tried to create chocolate balls any chance I could. And I got more and more frustrated. Finally I decided to just play because the last 150 levels or so have been based strictly on luck, I figured this one was too. And sure enough, I passed, not by my playing smart and creating chocolate balls, but by just playing and the game giving me chocolate balls, which "coincidentally" enough ended up right next to a striped candy. I ended up getting probably about 90 stripes with eleven moves left. Just another level based on luck, so hang in there and eventually the game will give you what you need too.

Anonymous said...

B.S. I have had 5 stripped mix with disco balls and still needed 14 more to pass. Probably tried about 200 times so far. It just gets ridiculous. Only one mystery egg to start. There are tons of vids online of people beating this level n they all get at least 2 eggs every turn. Its just King adjusting levels to maximize profit....

Anonymous said...

Not to sound uppity LOL but why do some of u keep mentioning 'they are greedy?' 'how much money do they have to make?' Its your choice to spend. I am on this level and have not spent one single cent on the game. Its all do-able.
Now I agree some are VERY frustrating and I have had my 'bitch' time when that occurred. For me this level is hard. I cannot pass it! But I will not be bitching about money cos I do not spend it as this game is Free people. Enjoy and good luck. Sending that thought to myself as well.

Anonymous said...

Agreed with above. I have gotten to this level without spending a single cent nor used any booster. Been at this level for a week, finally been able to get the 4 stripped color bomb combo with 1 move left and still end up two stripped short of the goal. Will still keep going as it is all luck. Good luck with the Anonymous who posted above.

Anonymous said...

Thank u to 15th Nov Anonyomous to my above you comment. Still not passed and like u have even gotten to one piece left. A VERY tedious and getting to be somewhat boring, but as before I'll pass it somehow:). Good luck to u too.

I've only played this twice. The second try, I got two sprinkles together which cleared the whole board but it was too late. I don't think this level is nearly as bad as the ones with tornadoes. Stay tuned! I have never bought boosters but I'm worried about Hell's Cluster, coming up in the 460's!

Anonymous said...

This level definitely takes patience to make the sprinkle/stripe combos needed. It's not so much luck of the board as it is skill to see opportunities. The closest I've gotten is 20 combos left! Challenging but fun when the combos are made and go off!

Anonymous said...

I have been playing for 4 days now. The closest I've gotten is 6 stripes left! I agree with the comment above that you need to get the first combo before you have 30 moves left. This is definitely challenging!

Anonymous said...

UGH! Just made it down to one stripe left!! I didn't get any sprinkle/stripe combos until the board was completely open either! This couldn't be any more frustrating if it tried!

Anonymous said...

Does anyone else see a daily booster wheel as an option now? I have one on my phone. You get one spin per day, for free! My first spin was a sprinkle though I didn't pass the level!

RetroAEROSMITH said...

what i find with the wheel or any other freebie power up they throw at you is that i 99% of the time have the worst game of my life and the booster gets wasted. Those people that claim theyve never used boosters are lying...ive never paid for them but have aquired boosters through playing on facebook, the freebie wheel, playing ten levels of a certain other king game to get lives and hammers...these are all boosters. if i hadnt had the odd hammer on a remove the jelly level then id never have got this far. Never paid but have used boosters which is a claim most can make...never paid or boosted is bull.

Anyway this screen can be a right mare but if using a mobile device you can exit the screen before moving to restart with another board, i did this and afer a few goes had the first move to make a sprinkle choc. This whole area is probably where ive been stuck the longest in the entire game- not the screen, the area- the only other horrible area was the Christmas holiday area.

Im not going to post stupid tips as we all got this far and know how to play the game, but before making the most obvious move, stop and look again as i find myself rushing to try and make a move.

Anonymous said...

This level is pretty hard but I finally cracked it with 4 moves to spare but it's taken me about 30 attempts! Keep making colour bombs but accept that you'll lose a couple which seems a huge waste.....

Anonymous said...

I notice that usually in the beginning you usually easy to get lucky to make the chocolate candy.. But when its only like 30 stripes left.. Suddenly its always ao hard to even make a strip candy.. Maybe its the Algorythm?

Anonymous said...

I have been at this level for 4 days now. While I am becoming an expert at making coloured bombs I am no closer to achieving the orders. Never get below the 20s. I can never get the 4th coloured bomb that everyone says you need - even when I use the extra moves I have been sent. Do not see the point spending money when you need more than 2 stripes!!!

Anonymous said...

Got 79 of the 80 on firtst try......think it might be a the games way of torturing me today. Janine Marie

Anonymous said...

On the videos of people completing this not only do they more boosts but there are 4 colours rather than 5 when I play.

Anonymous said...

Not sure how some people passed this level so easily. I have been on it for 3 days and have not come close. If I get 2 colored bombs on the board and a strike next or one the second one gets destroyed. Will keep at it.

Anonymous said...

Just finished this level after over a week of trying.
This is my altime favorite level, very tough but never boring.

Been at this level for at least a week, and soon feeling like im going into raging madness over it! DAMN

So frrustrating. Have not even come close. Guess its encouraging to read comments and know that some folks have been successful.

Stop complaining. If the game is fun, play it. If it's not fun, don't. I think this level uses much more skill than previous levels. In fact, after all the luck required lately, this level is refreshing! The art of making chocolate balls is like chess. It's probably my favorite part because of the depth and I'm still discovering techniques. To those who think they are Candy Crush experts because they've reached level 452, reconsider. Perhaps you have only plodded along and discovered exactly what the game leads you to discover and nothing more.

If 3D Chomp has just been solved, surely there are Candy Crush secrets that not even the developers have found just in chocolate ball making! Maybe King is trying to make money. What's wrong with that? I've not played a level yet that took me more than 40 tries, and most are less than 3. I believe there is still enough strategy - you just need to look for it and stop considering yourself already Candy Masters.

Anonymous said...

Agree with most of you.

This one is hard but not impossible.

The key is to only concentrate on getting the sprinkle/stripe combo. Ignore clearing the board. Ignore the chocolate. Chain reactions will take care of those.

Other than that, it's the big bad L-word on the board your given.

Anonymous said...

Pretty ridiculous when you can get 4 striped spotted combos and still not get it. Games has been changed since the video too, so that is not much help. Will take lots of luck, just like the other levels in the 400's.

Anonymous said...

Might be time to change the video since this was obviously done before they changed the game to make it harder and bears little resemblance to the actual game now. You will need a lot of luck to get this by getting at least half a dozen striped spotted combos. Been trying for over 50 games & its not happening.

Anonymous said...

30 tries so far, closest I got was 7 stripes left after using 4 stripe/chocolate ball combo's. Fun level though, my board will come ! Iol.

Anonymous said...

Woohoo! Got it. 4 combo's striped/chocolate did the trick. Not bad lol. Next :).

Anonymous said...

almost got it on my 6th attempt, with one less striped candy...4 color bombs still didn't do the trick, duh! guess i have to try harder.

Anonymous said...

I wonder if I'm trying to go too fast? I never have had more than 2 sprinkle balls. I guess I'll slow down and look the board over more carefully. I agree with some of the above comments. If you are having trouble and are mad, don't complain, quit. I have come close a couple of times, but eventually beat the levels. Sometimes you just need to take a CC vacay!

Anonymous said...

Absolute pile of shite level, from getting 10 striped candies in total to being 12 away from total. Pathetic sequences, pathetic mystery eggs, all in all a pathetic frustrating level! 2 weeks + stuck on this level on pc, andoid and iOS - goodbye and stick your candies up your arse, this level is a bridge too far.

Alicia said...

This is one of those levels that are much easier on a PC, since there are fewer colors. After being stuck forever on my tablet, tried playing it on a PC and finished in less than 10 tries, with 6 moves left and 3 stars. Good luck to you all, try playing it on a PC!

Anonymous said...

OMG! Finished with two combos left. Frustrating, but I always say, if I can get that close, it CAN be done. And that was on my iPhone.

Anonymous said...

extremely difficult! finally managed it after getting the 3 extra moves from other players since i had been stuck on it! need to go really slow and make chocolate bombs whenever possible and just hope you can make a stripe near it, lol! doable but you need to plan each move!

Anonymous said...

Got this one on Facebook, playing on a Windows tablet, on the fourth try. It was obvious that the necessary approach was sparklies and stripes. I concentrated on the sparklies, looking to make one on every move. I sometimes had two or three on the board at once. Then I worked to get a stripe next to it. Wrapped/striped combos early in the try was useful to open up the board. In the end, I used four sparkly/striped combos to get this one, and the last one had a luck element, a purple stripe against a sparkly with a lot of purple on the board. I had ten or more stripes than I needed to get this level.

Anonymous said...

What helped me get this level is to focus only on making striped from top to bottom and keeping an eye out for opportunities to make chocolate balls. Don't worry to much about making space or about getting rid of chocolate. Quite often if I did get a chocolate ball I would get two so I would first use one to delete the color that isn't under my chocolate ball striped combination so that that stays intact and it will bring more of the striped color in the game. Else your second chocolate bomb will just explode and be of no use. Do not try to get more colors of your striped by eliminating threes, it will cost to many moves that you need to get more chocolate bombs.

Anonymous said...

Oh and also don't worry about using the striped unless you can form more striped that way. Don't explode them in threes they will set of a chain reaction anyways once one is set of and you want to have as many of them in the game to get one close to a forming chocolate ball.

Anonymous said...

PC version is different from mobile version. This level is hard on PC, as it does not clear the chocolate when the bars are cleared next to it. Buggy level

Anonymous said...

cherylcandycrush here.

This level was pretty hard for me, took a few days. Some previous levels have been worse though, at least I got close a couple of times with this level. Did it on PC.

Tried booster (colour bomb) a few times but it didn't work for me as I usually found it self detonated before I could make a stripe near it, or else I would have no matches anywhere and be forced to use it with an ordinary candy.

Basically, I think you have to wait to be sent a reasonably good board, to some extent. You need to have started with a colour ball/stripe match pretty well by move 30, as someone else said.

I got lucky and had a couple of colour balls self-generate and have a match to make a stripe very close by. You pretty well need to make FOUR colour ball/stripe matches. I ended up finished with 10 moves to go, but that was luck.

Before that, I was often finishing without getting anywhere near the score and either with a lot of stripes or a few colour bombs on the board, but not both together and nothing near each other.

So just keep plugging away and eventually a reasonable board will come your way.

But I tell you this: There were a couple of times near the very end of a game where I was down to one more stripe needed and had a couple of colour balls on the board but no moves anywhere to make a stripe. If I could have seen candies to switch with the red hand so I could make a stripe, I would have used it in a heartbeat.
Don't be ashamed to use a freebie red hand or hammer on this level if it helps.

Michelle dv said...

40 odd lives and 5 sprinkles each combined with striped did it for me. I suggest that you ignore the mystery eggs and making stripes - just focus on making sprinkles and then make a stripe near it. The stripes are easy to make when you need them. If you happen to get a stripe next to a wrap while you still have lots of licorice or chocolate, use it to wipe them out. Tedious yes, but so glad not to have cyclones or cakes.

Raylo said...

Ugh! So boring! Come on Candy Crush!!! Throw me a bone every once in a while!

Anonymous said...

After more than 100 lives and seven days I've had it! The sprinkles that I work so hard to make explode for no reason. When I do make one that doesn't explode, impossible to make a stripe next to it. Much too frustrating! Where is the fun? Goodbye CC.

Anonymous said...

Stuck on this since two weeks now... Once left with only one combo to make... Grrrrr... God knows when I will clear this level. First of all making a chocolate ball is so difficult and when you make either it gets exploded or the striped candy don't fall beside it...... Very frustrating....

Unknown said...

This is by far the WORST cc level ever. Not enough moves, coupled with chocolate and caged obstacles...I mean c'mon. I've been stuck for over a week. So get this juicy lovely crap. Hope y'all are listening. I got close in one game. Paid 99 cents for 5 extra moves when I died. Didn't finish. Paid another 99 cents for 5 extra moves. Still didn't finish. Then was about to throw my phone in toilet when I saw next extension of life was 4.99$! No thanks. After paying $2 I expect to win. The board had 3 chocolate balls!!! No stripe possibilities. In 10 turns. Not one. I'm ashamed to say I paid that amount and still lost. Was I supposed to pay $7 to beat this level??!! Is that what u want King?? Btw not EVERYONE has a fb account. Not extra lives given means buying.

Unknown said...

Hello all. As a further update I am STILL on this blasted level! I hate it. It is pure luck. To those who have passed it I'm jealous lol. I'm not ashamed to admit I buy the odd boost but what can even help? Nothing. Are u listening King? Your hard core fans who do buy the lives/boosts are insulted. I will uninstall and spread the word. This is ridulous to expect people with lives( job, children etc) to just waste their vvaluable time on a level like this. It is not fun anymore. An almost impossible task coupled with the inability to buy a guaranteed passing of level makes this pure garbage. I am venting because I've had it. This is beyond maddening. As a gamer for over 30 years I've beat almost game I've tried. But this...this is not recreational fun. It is a farce to siphon money. For shame.

Unknown said...

This is such a difficult level. I've tried a hundred times and cannot seem to get enough sprinkled balls to match with the stripes. Help!!!

Élise said...

Yes... So hard to do... Seems impossible... I feel like the others and have no fun anymore.

Anonymous said...

This is the level that I say shove it, I will stick to cookie jam and other fun games done with this crap

Lucia said...

I beg to differ. It IS a difficult level. "Thinking carefully" does no good at all if the moves aren't there and combos keep getting destroyed before they're set up.

Anonymous said...

One of the worse levels ever!!Been playing it for weeks. I've used boosters-paid for extra moves--and it won't let me pass! So9 happy for you players that pass it so quickly!! I've asked for help-o9n board--watched video---I think its buggy...I've passed levels on Soda. I can't afford to dish out anymore money--for nothing to boot too....yeah---I'm upset...Prolly ready to delete this useless time consuming, frustrating, wanting money so you can go on and on..it just gives me a headache now...I think I'm setup to pay- to win....good for you guys that fly thru this sheet.........
