Hints and tips for Level 472 Candy Crush

This level has been changed!
The locked cells are now opening when you match the candies within them, so a lot more difficult than originally..
You now have the problem of matching all the locked cells as well as the iced candies.
As usual try to make sure that every move does more than one thing.. ie: unlocking locked cells whilst setting up a stripe or wrap, unfreezing ice and unlocking adjacent cells etc. Keep your eye on the rainbow candies so you can set up the next move.
Once the rainbow candies are gone they don't come back so pretty straightforward specials and combos to get rid of all the jelly.

I am very lucky on this level after bad luck on 471.
First try beat it with 22 moves left. Two color bomb and stripped combos did the trick!

This level is bugged! I couldnt even make a move before it booted me because they had to 'reshuffle' the candies ti get possible moves and then it ended it as there were no more possible moves. Ridiculous!!!!

yes im having that problem, only getting one life at a time, and sometimes it just boots me off, as no moves, ho hum, nopt hard level if i can play it lol.

Would love to actually play this level. So far, every time I've tried, it just reshuffles and I have no moves. Major bug.

Well, when it does finally give you the chance to play, it's an easy level.

Oh my!!! I have lost two lives without even making a move. Since there are no moves it reshuffles once. If no moves, the game is over and you loose a life. This makes no sense.

well, the time it lets me do it, its done itself for me o.O !

Yep boots u off if no switches initially. King.com swindlers. Only game on line I play that conveniently locks up, defaults. don't spend any $ trying to defeat. These guys are GOP to the core!

Same problem, try to play, says "no moves", reshuffles and the game is over..... just lost 2 lives without ever making a move. So long CC

Yes, the level is buggy with the initial candy match problem. However, I played this level around 20 times and maybe got 5 game overs. 20% isn't great, but it isn't worth rage-quitting over considering that you don't need to burn that many lives trying to beat it. As another commenter said, 2 striped/bomb combos generally do it, especially one early.

Just have faith because the next level is a lovely, old-fashioned skill level with lots of explosions.

Sooooooooooo frustrating. I get lives, the game wastes them in one go, or two if I get lucky. Completely unfair. Really unhappy.

Completed with the aid of bonus fish from the daily bonus wheel.

Candy crush people, please fix this bug and give us a fighting chance to beat it!! Losing three lives out of five is an absolute joke, they should be ashamed.

What a joke this level is:
- displays initial board
- immediately says "no moves, shuffling"
- "you lose"

Then it displayed the infamous "how fun was this level?" meter!!!
And then of course "sorry, out of lives".

I think the developers know that once you're such an addict since you got this far, they can screw with you head.

I noticed that at first, the cages broke when I made matches next to them. Then at some point, they didn't. I had to match the candies in the cage. Is this another glitch?

Anonymous said...

Quite possibly the dumbest built level to date. Lost 3 straight lives without making a single move due to no possible combinations. Whoever created this level needs to be slapped in the head.

Same old, same old, unless you get a great board, you may as well kiss it good bye. I note there have been a number of changes in this level.........wonder why?????

Woohoo! Got it 1rst try. Got real lucky and got 2 chocolate balls together which cleared a lot. Then just basic moves, cleared the rest. Guess it's my lucky day. lol

This is beyond ridiculous! I've lost a LOT of lives because the board starts out with zero moves. When are they going to fix the flashing suggested moves that are, in fact, moves that can't be made due to them being in cages? grrr!!

Got this one on the second try, always had an opening move and saw lots of moves that included the locked candies. However, the real reason for getting this level is luck; manoeuvring candies together to get a sparkly--and a second one forms one candy away. That candy was cleared, the sparklies swapped and that broke all the locked candies and cleared most of the jelly. Then it was just jelly mopup with lots of moves left.
