Candy Crush Saga Level 514

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 514 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 514 is an ingredients level, you have to collect two hazelnuts to complete the level.
Don't worry about the ingredients to begin with, the first one will drop from the top of the board when you make a move and the second one will appear as soon as you collect the first one.
There is no need to clear all the blockers to collect the nuts, you only need to clear the ones underneath them so that they can drop down to the exits.
The best way to collect the nuts is to make vertical stripes and stripe/wrap combos, you can then use these to clear a way through the blockers. You could also use a colourbomb switched with a stripe to clear away some blockers too, but these are harder to make, especially with 6 colours on the board.

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know in the comments and I will try to change it.

The only tricky part of this level is IF the game has to reshuffle after you unlocked some of the locked pieces—then it may be more difficult to clear the bomb in time. Other than that, the level is pretty straightforward.

On the contrary, I'm finding this level to be extremely difficult and the worst by far in this episode.
Working with only one third of the board, there are 6 candy colours and matching, even three of a kind is usually confined to one possible move, and more often than not, a non-productive move.
Lots of shuffling because moves are hard to come by. Also, very difficult to make special candies or combos.
Will keep plugging away, but definitely one of those levels which relies on pure luck than any degree of skill.

I hate this level. You can only get one move at a time which usually does does absolutely nothing. Then it reshuffles the board and if you have a stripe near the middle it will put in on the ends where it's useless. Can't even get close to clearing the bomb. Stupid level that relies on luck.

This level does take a lot of luck and I'm grateful that mine kicked in after about 10 games. The only thing to really concentrate on is to knock out the time bomb - which takes two goes as the first hit simply clears the cage and a second is needed to explode the bomb itself.

Absolutely a level where you need a lucky board. Not a fun level and yes, I agree with Jem, it's the wordt level in the 500 episode so far.

Just wait for the stripe in a lucky place which clears the bomb. Whenever the bomb is cleared, it's an easy one.

The blocks are away when you hit them twice, so it's pretty straigth forward... after, after, after the bomd is cleared. So, focus on the bomb and get frustrated by the board being shuffled all the time... LOL

Up to the last level sofar, than, we move forward with the stupid bird that falls all the time:-)

Good luck from the Netherlands

Passed it on my fifth attempt! I reset my board until I got one with a move in the center. I cleared the merangue and was able to make a wrap/stripe combo that took out the bomb completely. Both ingredients were in columns right next to each other so I concentrated on the areas around them. Finished with 3 stars.

Jen, I couldn't have said it better. Gotta be very lucky early in this game to get to the bomb!

Guess I got lucky, finished on the 4th try with 3 stars. Cot a chocolate ball and did away with the bomb, that helped a lot. The rest was just basic play. Good luck to everyone!

got it first try with 23 moves left! was lucky and able to get rid of the bomb really fast then the rest was basic moves! have fun!

This was a level with a lot of luck needed. I got it on the tenth try. On the first nine tries, was not even close to getting the bomb, but on the tenth try, luck shone on me and I was able to dig down to free the stripe above the bomb, using that to break the cage and then a subsequent stripe to get rid of the bomb. Then, I got a sparkly against a striped red with lots of red on the board That dropped one acorn and left the second one candy above the exit with fourteen moves to go--but I could not clear it until I managed to set up and use a can't-believe-that-worked series of cascades to get rid of the last candy and drop the second ingredient with one move left. This was a definite luck level.

Boring, nothing but boring, A joke compared to the last 100 or so.

I have not been a really lucky player, but this one I guess I was. I got it on the first try with 32 left. I got quite a few vertical stripes right where the nut was coming down, then the other one came down after it.

Got two wrapped candies together which blasted the bomb away with plenty of moves left.

I used a coconut wheel, and cleared the board in 10 steps.
