Candy Crush Saga Level 656

Tips for level 656 Candy Crush Saga
You need to collect 4 wrap/wrap combos in 40 moves for level 656.
2 of the combos are already on the board frozen in ice.
To unfreeze the given combos you can use either a stripe/wrap combo placed in the correct line, or colour bombs,
Be careful not to explode any of the wraps before the pair is unfrozen.
Just look for wraps all the time. Stripes will be easy to make but apart from to open the wraps in ice you don't really need them. Don't try to make too many at once, look for patterns where you'll be able to get two together. The conveyor is useful for getting wraps together, but look carefully at what's coming along so your precious wraps don't get blown up by candies moving along the conveyor.
If you're good at making wraps you may be able to complete level 656 without using the ones provided.

I'm getting worried about King. I'd think twice before having a swastika design for a level.

Oh. My.; Gosh. The only good thing is there are no bombs. I can make wraps but there is almost no way to protect them from being accidentally exploded. Was it really necessary to put two impossible levels together?

Mmmm, got it in my 2nd try, with 3 stars: piece of cake...

Good luck from the Netherlands!
Keep on rockin'

After actually getting it 2 twice the game froze up and it didn't count :( 3rd time was a charm! this one is not easy, its the luck of the board!

I suck at making wraps!!! True confession!

This is one of the few levels where you want to use your "lucky" candy boosters! Every time you match one you will get a wrap and every time it blows up a new lucky candy will fall so eventually you get enough wraps to finish the level.

Wrapped candies were always hard to make for me, now we need four combos?! Why not just make it a timed level, too!

Anonymous said...

I thought about using the "lucky candy booster", but only have one and never used one in a level before. I watched the video one more time and I swear the next game I played looked just that board. Got it with 20 moves left!

I finally went through all the levels and was completely frustrated and happy when I finished. With both 655 and 656 I eked them out with one star. When I completed the whole run, I went back to try for three stars on each. I not only got the three stars, I got them repeatedly. Did they make the level easier in the past few days or does the board get easier once you beat it?

just liked 655,misery level again

This level was not so hard as level 655, and I got it on my seventh try. The player is given two wrap/wrap combos, but they are frozen. It's important to unfreeze them at the same time and then immediately detonate them. You should try for them first, and then form the other two wraps. If you have adjacent wraps in the lower right part of the main board and two frozen wraps in the lower right, setting off the wraps will destroy the frozen ones. It's important to not waste the two gift combos, because wrap/wrap combos are hard to make. Two is hard, three and four nearly impossible. Vertical stripes in the conveyor or wrap/stripe combos help unfreeze the frozen wraps. Use a sparkly only if the two wraps are the same colour. Stripes form easily in this level (why can't they form this easily in level 655?).

What is a lucky candy booster?????

Bill. said...

Again difficult but not tedious. Need to unfreeze the wrapped candies then detonate. Very difficult to get wrapped candies without them being blown up.

So after finally completing 655 after much sweat and tears I am now stuck with this - cruel!

Anonymous said...

What is a lucky candy booster?

Anonymous said...

Lucky candy booster is the red button with a tick on it

Am really stuck on 656 and am thinking it will be the end of the road for me. I really love this game , have no trouble forming wraps but before I can match them they get blown up. Have been playing cookie jam and it is very challenging but doable unlike candy crush. Please King do something about this level as I would love to continue this game.

Decided to give 656 one more go and would u believe wraps everywhere on board and succeeded in getting it with 3 stars. Only posted yesterday that it was impossible. My advice to anyone stuck on this level leave it for a while and go back and try it on and off. It worked for for me and have now reached 660. Whopee my faith in King has returned.

Frustrated on this cruel level. So many attempts no one was successful.

I hate wraps

This level is hard enough but when you are about to beat it CCs blows up your wraps for no reason they decide when you win I have really enjoyed CCs until this level because there was no reason to blow up what took me forever to make come on CCs be fair.....

Anonymous said...

Not so bad....took a few tries. Ignored the set up wrapped ones and made my own. Janine Marie

Anonymous said...

I think this may be the end for me. I can make plenty of wraps but they blow up before I can use them together.

Anonymous said...

After 655 I was hoping for an easier level afterwards, but not so. I have been able to get close twice, down to one combo left. Things that have helped: a sprinkle to open one or more of the wrapped candies on the sides. Striped candies to do the same thing. Just be careful not to set off the open one before opening both candies or they will both explode. Getting the two sets on the sides is crucial. Then it's a matter of getting two more sets. (I say that likes it's easy!!) I figure it will take a week of playing this level -- at least I hope it's only a week (lol).

c/candycrush here

It's a bit of a tough level but oh happy day, I am through.

It's not hard to make wraps but it is almost impossible to stop them exploding. Stripes are useful to unlock one of the wraps on the sides, or if you get lucky and can detonate from the sides, to unlock 2 at once. Colour balls are useful for that too.

But to be honest with you, I knew I was in with a chance right at the start, when two wraps fell out of the top and landed next to each other. Combined them straight off before they could self detonate. Found they had opened two of the wraps on the side. That was two ingredients down. Then a stripe in the right spot detonated itself and released the other two wraps. I did make 2 wraps myself and was lucky they were near each other. Finished with 27 turns left.

My conclusion:
The level is very possible but if you are a mortal player and not a super whizz, you will have to wait till the system gives you a little bit of help-which it eventually will.

Mind you, the special candy booster sounds a good idea-never thought of that or I would have tried it.

I have trouble making wraps too but to get two together four times without everything exploding...might give up!

I lucked out with a couple of sprinkles near the beginning that allowed me to get rid of the jelly over the wrapped in the corners. So that allowed me to complete two orders early. Then I made a couple more wrapped near the conveyor belt and completed my third. Struggled to get my fourth. I had one wrapped sitting near the bottom. Made another above it. Then with one move left I used two pink lollipop hammers to eliminate the candies in between my two wrapped. Used my last move to combine my wrapped for my final order. So I completed this level with the help of two sprinkles and two pink lollipop hammer boosters.

Anonymous said...

The two pink lollipop hammer boosters were freebies from the daily spin of the wheel. Many don't help me because they get used too early in the game. But the pink lollipops can help a lot when I remember to use them.

I read the comments and decided strategy was the way to go. After failing on my first attempt miserably, I really thought it out for my next go, and I got it out. This is what I did:

1. Had an early opportunity to make a sprinkle to wipe out a jelly covered wrap combo in the top corner (they were the same colour). Then detonated them. WoW! 1 down, 4 to go.

2. Got a wrap. Focused on making another one near it. Avoided making stripes. Decided to use a free spin lollipop to align it. WoW! Got it out. 2 down, 2 to go.

3. Focused on clearing the bottom corner of jelly covered wraps (also same colour) but no sprinkles to be found. Had to use horizontal stripes. THis took quite a few turns. Got them cleared then detonated them. WoW! 3 down, 1 to go.

4. Focused on making final wraps near each other, avoiding stripes. Decided to use a free spin hand to align them.. WoW! All done with spares to move and 2 stars.

I love hearing from the players who say how easy the level was.
Why are they in here in the first place? Do you ever go to visit the Tips page, when a level is so freaking easy. NO. Neither do I. I just move forward.
I am now calling shenanigans on those players who post how easy a level was & how quickly they pass it.
LOL

Anonymous said...

And why are you here?

It's a free world - people can post what they want.

How do you know why people post what they do? Not everyone is like you.

Lighten up and play a game of CC.

Worst. Level. Ever. Waiting for a lucky board......

Anonymous said...

Stupid stupid level. Oh how I hate you candy crush !!!!!

Kelly said...

I've been on this level for several months, the first time that's happened. I use to play a level until I beat it, but this one has me stumped. I play maybe once a week now. The wraps have always been the hardest candy for me to make and I to wonder why people come to a tip page if it's so easy! LOL

Anonymous said...

This level cheats. I finished it twice and it did not give me credit. So, now I've been trying for days with no luck because every time I make a wrapped, it blows up before I can get two together. So frustrating!

Screw you troll!!

I fkn give up....so nany lives wasted...multiple check mark boosters. ...this level SUCKS!
The game steals the booster but never puts any in the game.
wraps just explode and you keep trying and you keep losing..
Done....

I'm sure this level was written by some geek that needs to get laid. It's stupid. I'm sure a lot of people quit because of frustration.

The only thing you can do is wait until Candy Crush decides you can win it. No amount of strategy will help.

Good luck! And if the developer of this level reads this blog.... here is some advice... Get a life!

Been on this level for a month. Have come close once. Can't wwin this one. This sucks

Got 655 on the 1rst try, guess now I'm paying for it on this tough level. Oh we'll, gotta keep trying. Good luck everyone!

Came to this blog, because I was stuck for what seemed like FOREVER on this level. Having the special candy was IMMENSELY helpful!

Anonymous said...

I'm thinking I got very lucky with this one. Made it through on the first try (on my last move), and without being able to use the two wrapped candies in the upper-left corner.

Anonymous said...

I have never been very good at making wrapped candies so to have to make 2 together four times is a nightmare for me..please give me a lucky board king so I can proceed to enjoy the rest of the game 😘

Jeanette Lowe Lowe said...

Think this is where I leave Candy Crush. This is an impossible level. You make a combo and the board is so fragile it explodes. Been stuck for weeks. Bye bye king

Anonymous said...

I am stuck in this level and frankly I think I am gonna look for another game to play, a game that will give me FUN, cos this CC game is giving me way to much frustration!!!
I dont need that crap feeling and lets face it KING does control the game it will eat your boosters and make you frustrated for no reason!!
I dont mind trying levels but there is to much control of King in it most of the time.
ITs like the feed them selfs of my frustration....
NO WONDER THEY LOOSE SO MANY PLAYERS!!
Games should be fun not mess you up!!

Chad Duerksen said...

After about 100 tries, this level is definitely impossible. Every time you make wrapped candies, they automatically blow up if you try moving them. So it's virtually impossible.

Meta Spence said...

Fed up with Candy Crush...especially 656. Have played this many times but when I try to get more than three wrapped candies any that I set up get blasted off the board.Joined Candy Crush for fun but it's no longer a fair game and I'm not prepared to wait weeks for a "good board" or spend endless amounts of cash in the hope.

Anonymous said...

On my Ipad, I finally did it! Woo Hoo, yay team…..
My strategy was this:
1. I reset the game until I got two wrapped candies of the same colour (top left corner)
2. I then used my chocolate sprinkle (which I had won in the daily free spin wheel) This got rid of the jelly on top of my wraps. BEFORE I MADE ANOTHER MOVE, I combined those two wraps.
3. I then created horizontal stripes so I could clear the jelly on the two wraps in the other corner.
4. As soon as I got two wraps together, I combined them, before making another move
5. Then I created some more wraps but I made sure that there were NO COLOURS anywhere near the wraps (No surprise detonations here)
6. The last two wraps were in different columns so I eventually moved one and then used my free lollipop hammer, to align them both up. I combined them, passed, heaps of spare moves left and I even got three stars!
So everyone, pls pause and really think about your next move as much as u can!

I hate this. I am not getting even close. Sheeeesh!

Anonymous said...

Getting very bored with this level, this might be the one that finishes me :(

Anonymous said...

and three tries later, cracked it, woohoo!

Anonymous said...

This level sucks. I hate these CC games that "toy" with you. Spend time making the wraps and for no reason, they keep exploding. I have tried many of the suggestions posted as well as my own common sense, but don't blow it all up after I have wasted my time planning each move. King........you suck!

Peggy F said...

Thank you Candy Crush. This level has broken my addiction to the game. I do hate levels where you can only win when the game lets you. There's no challenge and all we're doing is moving the candy around hoping the game will cooperate.

bv said...

Been on it for two weeks. This will sever my relationship to candy crush. Things sporadically implode!

MNranger said...

If you have one of those check marks available, you can use it as a great help because it will turn into a wrapped candy for you.

Anonymous said...

Its not possible under normal gane play. You need 4 cany hammers to take out the frozen bombs in the corner when you start otherwise it is just not possible. A truly ridiculous level.

ABSOLUTELY FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Found this level very difficult as every time you got a wrapped it detonated itself. If I find a level difficult I always leave it for a few days and collect boosters. The tip I found most helpful was to use the lucky candy (the one with the tick on ) It really does seem to give wrapped candies galore. I also used the lollipop to get 2 together because otherwise they just detonated. I did spend longer planning moves as well but finally got it! Hate collecting orders .
