Candy Crush Saga Level 734

Tips for level 734 Candy Crush Saga
You have 20 moves to get one ingredient down and out of the exits.
The problem is all the exits are blocked by locked cells which need the 4 keys to unlock them.
In order to collect the keys you need to unlock the striped candy in the middle using a stripe or colour bomb, then hit it again with a stripe or colour bomb to fire it off and collect the keys.
Once that is done the ingredient will fall on move 6, with 5 moves left to get it out of the exit.
Be very careful once the stripe is unlocked that you keep moving and don't cause the board to shuffle, if that happens your stripe will move and you will lose your chance of collecting the keys and it's game over.

For the first time, after Loads of goes, I managed to clear the middle stripe and the keys only to find NO ingredient until there was just 6 moves left!!!!!!!!!!!!! to get it from the top to the bottom!!!! I even had a sprinkle ball which was no help at all!
It was hard enough to actually clear the keys without this stupid problem. Why?? Getting the ingredient down in 6 moves without the other bits would be a game in itself. I have loved Candy Crush but after managing to clear the keys and to find it was still down to just a lucky board I think has finished me with this. I will go till the end of the day but then thats it. I like a challenge but not a sheer frustrating game of chance/luck.

Unknown said...

Also was ready to hang it up...but then managed to hit the middle striped one and then got lucky and got a striped/wrapped combo....but then used one of my free hammers to actually drop the fruit...

If you have any pink donuts saved up, this is a really good place to use it. Just click it before you start & it makes getting the keys MUCH easier!

Hate this level....snooze fest!!!

Anonymous said...

Utterly boring. Used to look forward to playing. This level is next to impossible and all you can do is make the one move that the board gives you. No strategy at all. Going to use up my free boosters and quit. days on this and it is just stupid.

Anonymous said...

only 20 moves??? are you kidding me???

Second day on this level and I managed to make a sprinkle and a stripe ,thought sure I was going to clear but no! the board reshuffled and my middle stripe moved ,I could greet candy crush ...sigh ,wonder will it be another 24 hours before I get another decent chance ?

dirty vegas said...

I played solitaire game and was given 5 lollipop hammers that enabled me to free the keys and unlock the stripe and still couldn't free the cherry , you couldnt make this up ,unbelievable ..shocking !!! when the cherry fell I had all those moves to collect the cherry and still couldn't do it ,seriously candy crush it's enough to make me pack it in , I feel conned .

Do they even try out these levels before they release them to the public? This could be the most senseless, boring level yet (and that is saying a lot)! I keep hearing about how hard 735 is, but I do not think that I will be able to keep my interest up long enough to make it past 734. They should at least drop the fruit when you clear the keys to make it somewhat interesting...

Leslie said...

Yep, another senseless level. That video is so encouraging with special candies just falling on their own! Good thing I am really busy with something else or I think I might just close up shop on CCS, as well. It is so boring that I am not tempted to spend any time on it.

Rob Hawkins said...

Wow, this level is shit. Need a lollypop hammer to pop the candy below the bottom conveyor once the ingredient drops down there. Aside from that, it's just boring repetition until you can get 2 vertical stripes to pop the center candy and get the keys.

Anonymous said...

This one may put me off CC for good finally. No strategy at all - every time I get the stripe in the middle free, the board reshuffles. This one really stinks!!

Anonymous said...

I thought the comments above were exaggerated, but they're not. My first try and I got the licorice off the middle stripe, but the board reshuffled before I could get the next layer. This is really hard. Will I quit? Heck, no. I'll have to try at least 100 times before I reach the point of quitting. Really good point noted that you don't want the board to reshuffle after you get rid of the licorice. Of course, you have no control over that.

Anonymous said...

Arghhhh. I came so close. In one game I got two sprinkles that I used to set off the stripe opening the locks. Got the cherry down to the next to last level but didn't have any lollipops to get the cherry the final step. I'm not a happy lady. :-(

Anonymous said...

Using a lollipop hammer I was able to clear the keys/locks and could have used one more lollipop hammer to drop the ingredient, but I didn't have enough points. Can't get enough points with some combos. I may be off CC for a while cause this level is just too darned hard. I feel like I'll never get through.

Anonymous said...

My God is this a freaking boring level. No strategy. Just a matter of a perfect board. Not letting the cherry drop till move 6 is insane and unfair. It should drop when you open the middle and it would still be hard. Posting for luck.

Anonymous said...

I'm getting ready to throw in the towel on this level. I'm able to get the ingredient down and out, but I don't have enough points. How do you get enough points?

anton said...

Well this level beats them all, obviously the developer of this level didn't try it enough befor releasing it on us because it is nigh impossible to get past. I've managed to unlock the middle stripe candy once in about 50 goes that's as close as I can get, don't have any lollipop hammers to use which is the only way I can see that it can be done and I'm not buying any, even then people are saying that doing that they still can't get enough points!!!!!????? really, I think that's me folks.

Anonymous said...

Some how manage to complete it after many tries and without booster sheer luck

Unknown said...

What helps me is not to play till the end, but when you see you can't make it press the exit button. After 5 or 10 exits, the board gets easier. I played this level about 20 times ( not much, I have been on another level for 3 months) and pressed every time the exit button. Now got a board with 2 striped candies and a sprinkled bomb. First time I released the keys and needed 1 lollipop to finish. On to 735!

Anonymous said...

I left a couple of comments above about my despair over this level. Well, I finally got through with a sprinkle ball that got me the points I needed and took off the first layer of jelly over the center stripe. Then I used a lollipop to set off the center stripe opening the locks. The cherries moved down to the bottom along the conveyor belt and I used another lollipop to get it to go down. Finished with 2 stars. So relieved to be off this level.

Anonymous said...

what really bothers me about this level is the fact that I have gotten this far in CC and I actually don't understand how to even play this level....scary

Anonymous said...

As others have said this is stupid in that it is mostly down to luck, but also having unlocked the keys with 12 moves to spare I just had to make pointless moves until the fruit appeared on move 6. Then there was no way to get it finished other than buying hammers which I won't do, as all available moves were away from the fruit.

No skill at all, so no fun

Anonymous said...

Don't waste your time or money on boosters on this level. I have used up lots of them. You opt to use one and often the board gives you only one move that involves wasting your precious coconut wheel, chocolate bomb, stripe, or wrapped candy. Still stuck, waiting for a lucky board.

Janine Marie said...

I was bored with trying to get past this level. Used a coconut wheel for the first stripe. Then made the second....then, the darn fruit would not drop!! Finally, used a had to move the fruit so that I could ued a lolipop to get the fruit out. Yup, three boosters for one level.....but I had lost patience! Janine Marie

Anonymous said...

After driving myself crazy, this is how I did it: start with a chocolate bomb and a coconut. Use the choc bomb on the colour of the centre piece which will unlock it and then use the coconut to eliminate it taking the keys with it. It then takes a while for the cherries to appear and there is some luck with getting it in the 6 moves you have left.

Anonymous said...

Finally did it with 3 lollipop hammers. Wait to use the hammers when the fruit has dropped to the lowest level. This took me several lives. Smash the licorice off the center striped candy. Hit the center stripe one again to set it off to free all the keys. Hit the candy right under the fruit.

Bill. said...

Used three bonus hammers silly game.

Anonymous said...

I doubled up a wheel along with sprinkle ball. The first time it took forever for the fruit to come down and I couldn't get the combinations to work. The second time I lucked out and I had enough moves and a striped candy to push it through.

I think a sparkle ball with a hammer would be great, but I didn't have a hammer. Sparkle to unlock the stripe and then hammer to use it right away. Then hope for the best. Not a fun level, is more with luck then skills. Can't imagine solving it w/o extra items.

Rain Thompson said...

Is this an impossible level or what? UGH

Anonymous said...

This is the WORST level! No strategy. Usually only one available move. Even with luck getting the striped candy to fire, the stupid cherry doesn't show up until 5 moves to go. I used to have fun with this game. This one is ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

Ha,,. when you do finally remoe the keys.. You get FIVE yes FIVE moves to get the fruit down to the bottom.
Total joke of a level and smacks of please play for extra boosters and please pay for extra moves.

Rain Thompson said...

RIDONKulous!! Another lucky board game. It is absolutely impossible. UGH!! 75 lives and four days of labor pains.

Anonymous said...

I began to restart the level before I began playing unless I saw an immediate opportunity for a special candy. I beat the level with no boosters shortly after I began doing this

Unknown said...

The designer of these levels seem to have forgotten that candy crush is their cash cow. You need player to play the game. This level has no skill required, no strategy, just lots of patience. You will not achieve this level without the right board, that may take a few goes, that may take hundreds. I think this level will bore a lot of players and make them leave the game. I am very close to that level of quitting. Come on designers sort it out, too many level lately have been purely about luck

Anonymous said...

Pff. I totally agree with the comment above. This one makes no sense at all. Virtually impossible to achieve. Only with a tremendous amount of luck you'll pass this level. Come on King. I will never spend a dime for boosters. I'll quit the game first and I'm on the edge of doing so. JJ from Holland

Anonymous said...

Pff. Totally ridiculous this one. I'm handing in my stuff. I'm ready with this bullshit

Anonymous said...

Pff. One effort more and made it. Pure luck. 2 speckled bombs and a wrapped in the right place did it. No strategy involved, just pure luck. Only tip, play slow to catch every possibility. Good luck !

Anonymous said...

Used coconut wheels and unlocked all keys in two moves. Then, fruit didn't drop until the last 5 moves--not nearly enough time to move it around the conveyor belt to the exit. Frustrating!

Anonymous said...

I used the coconut wheel to unlock the striped in the first move, which gave me time to make and line up a vertical stripe to unlock the keys. I saved the next coconut wheel until the fruit showed up. I had several moves left over. I'm pretty sure I could not have done it without the wheel.

Anonymous said...

JanC here. I too caved after reading all 40+ comments here, and waited til I had two hammers from the daily spin, then rolled boards for one with special candy ready to be made ... Every time til the last one, that did me no good and if I hadn't gotten the center stripe uncovered by move 12, I quit and started over. The level is so disgustingly annoying (def one of the worst), I only played a few games a day. When I got my shot (center stripe activated, both bombs gone), I made as many special candies as I could while I bided my time for the six moves remaining. The but dropped, I was able to get two stripes together to get it to the lower board, then used the two hammers to get it off the conveyor and then out. Shame on KIng! For such transparent manipulation!

Anonymous said...

I read ahead to this blog as I was waiting for new lives and I thought I was going to be stuck. I must have made at least four verticals but ended up getting the keys with a colour bomb to unlock the centre stripe and one ony verticals to hit it again. By this time the ingredient was out on the belt and it took 4 goes to get it down. First go , no lives lost

Anonymous said...

This is the most boring level yet!! Absolutely no skill involved and usually there's only one move option

Anonymous said...

Stuck n this level for several weeks. Did not even play it. Just spun the wheel and saved hammer and coconut wheel. Then played and used the coconut wheel in the beginning, then the hammer, this unlocked the locks and I got lucky 2 moves after the fruit dropped with a vertical stripe that lined up with the fruit and brought it down! Level 735 and 736 were easy for me but I am now stuck on 737 and will have to spin the wheel for some helpful boosters. It is a tough one.

Most boring level ever - game deleted!

Anonymous said...

Boring, boring, boring, boring... and did I mention Boring???

Anonymous said...

Ridiculous level. Such a bore and waste of time.

Anonymous said...

Took the advice above and ended the game early about four times then next game I played I had success!

Anonymous said...

I am not one to complain... If I get to a level that is difficult to beat, I go back in again to play a different strategy until I beat the board... no, i don't believe 100% in 'lucky' boards. We are all here because dedicated the time it takes to kick the shit out of each level by doing different things... But I have to say, this was the most annoying boards I played... and yes, if it were not for a 'lucky board with 4 or 5 chocolate bombs, I would still be on this level... I must have used atleast 200 lives on this stupid thing.... now that I am done venting, off to the next challenge... HAPPY CRUNCHING!!!

Anonymous said...

cherylcandycrush here.

Seriously frustrating level.
No sooner unlock the striped candy in the middle than it does a reshuffle and that's game over. or else make a stripe and it explodes before I am ready or else I can't detonate it when I am ready.

I knew things were going well for me though when I at long last had a colour ball move next to a stripe. All my Christmases had come at once. Detonated them and wasn't expecting much, but wowee. It unlocked the middle stripe, then detonated the middle stripe, then made the cherry fall all the way to the bottom and out.

I just sat back and watched in astonishment. Oh yes, life is good. no boosters either (mind you I wasted a few coconut wheels in earlier tries.)

Candycrush god is with me. Not only got through this level 734 but whizzed through 735 in the same round of 5 turns and that level is supposed to be hard too.

I think sometimes CC just sends some easier rounds.

Czar said...

I was looking for a long hard time getting past this level after initial tries and reading comments on this level. After reading some got through without using boosters it acted as a catalyst. Always has been and I got through the next day with one star after "only 2 days".Good enough for me and they said 735 was going to be very tough too but I got it with 3 stars on the second attempt. Haven't spent a single cent and have never used boosters.

Pugmom said...

Have to wait for lucky board. After unlocking bottom of board I had to use two of my free hammers to get ingredient down. Worth it to get away from this level

Anonymous said...

Well I had almost given up hope of ever passing this level. Stupid, stupid level, makes no sense to me and almost impossible to win. Came on to this page to try and get help and saw the comments about using the lollipop hammer. Next time I went into the game I found I had 18 lollipops so I basically cheated by usng hammers on all the keys and once the ingredient showed up I, luckily, got it into the bottom top row straight away so used the hammer again to break the two underneath and so level done. But such a sad way to play it! I enjoy the challenge of most of the levels but this level was totally ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

Absolutely ridiculous level. I used a color bomb and pink donut to "win" it. I kept starting over until the donut was in the third row down at the edge, and the color bomb was close to the color of the stripe under the licorice. Use the bomb, then the next move make vertical stripes to knock out the keys. The other donut cme into play to bring the fruit down. Not at all the way the way I like to play, but after about 50 tries using no boosters, I was more than bored. At least this way there was a strategy I could employ.

Anonymous said...

Ugh!! This level is ridiculous ! Usually only one move available ..I was down to where I had keys unlocked and no fruit in site. Then I had almost won when dang, no moves left. Do not see where chocolate ball helped at all. I had chocolate ball next to stripe, guess what, reshuffle. I know this level can be beat because others have done it but frustrating to say the least...

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the tip that said to use a stripe to unlock the licorice, then wait for cherry to drop to bottom row, then use a lollipop hammer on that middle striped candy to unlock the keys. Worked for me!

I like your tips, but there's something wrong with the videos. And move to another page is very hard.

You know Candy Crush programmers, ever since the computer games have been added to higher levels they are just plain stupid. Have I hired a new programmer? if so, can we have the old one back? At least he did not insult us by setting up stupid, 'here have 5 moves to get a piece of fruit down now' levels that has no skill only luck. Why has this game turn into more of a casino rather than using our brains?

Anonymous said...

This was the most stupid level ever! Luckily beat it by using all my lollipops! Saga needs to come up with some better boards.

Anonymous said...

I have really enjoyed CC until now, This level is merely a game of chance, and you can only make the one move given to you, no skill, or strategies involved,,, BORING !!! I prefer the levels that allow you to think and make choices :-( Even level 733, which was a total pain allowed you choices and a fighting chance,,,,,,

Anonymous said...

Followed Janine's suggestion and used a coconut wheel. The first wheel unlocked the striped candy and the second wheel I was able to pair with another stripe that cleared everything and it was a few moves left to bring down the cherries and finish the game.
Spent many frustrating tries before this. But the coconut wheel was a breeze.

Anonymous said...

I got lucky and managed to unlock the stripe in the center on my 3rd move then used s free lolipop hammer to explode it snd clesr keys. But by the time thr fruit fell onto the board I handily 6 moves left. Used another hammer to grt it down and next move dropped it. I thought " that was easy but only hsd just over 6000 points. NO WIN!! This level is set up to mske you insane.

Anonymous said...

This level is intended to make you frustrated so that you end up spending money on boosters to get past. It's purely luck as the moves are mostly limited to just one. This means you're not given any chance to use strategy. If you stick with it and play it enough times you'll probably get a game that lets you go up to the next level. Boring.

Anonymous said...

Waste of time. If candy crush can't be bothered to make decent levels, I can't be bothered playing them. Words on tour here I come.

Cat said...

After many wasted lives and resets for stripes which then exploded prematurely, then using just coconut wheels and still losing, this free booster combo worked. Coconut wheel and choc ball. I reset until wheel was positioned to get center candy without setting off choc ball, then dropped ball to the bottom, where it should be safe until needed for ingredient. Worked first time. Luck is needed for ball to be adjacent to the right color to drop ingredient, but I think that will only take a couple of tries. Stupid level. Wish I'd tried this earlier, and good luck to all.

Kfmconsulting said...

Doable but not a fun level. Did it on a lucky board afer many tries. First stripe opened the center candy stripe and the second set it off to eliminate the keys. Getting the cherry down is tricky with only six moves but did and used a lollipop on the final move. Very frustrating level!

Anonymous said...

Passed this level with 1 star, so it is doable.
My tips: Only play the board if you can make a vertical stripe, wrapper or sprinkle ball with the first move. I found that opening and closing the board produced a "lucky" board every 5 or 6 times. No wasted lives. After your 1st special candy.....it will be easier to make another. I had the center stripe blasted and keys unlocked 9 moves in. Next watch the flow of colors on the conveyor belt....try to isolate as many common colors to the bottom 2 rows. At the 6th (or 5th) move left....the fruit will drop....get it to the bottom asap. Finished with 2 moves left.
Lastly, please remember that this a forum for "tips" not gripes. Complaining won't get you anywhere.....and as far as King wanting you to spend money.....I did this with NO boosters. Use your brain....you'll get there.

Unknown said...

Passed this by matching 3 of same colors horizontally, one being a stripe. The stripe has to line up with the locked stripe. It has to be on inside of moving tracks (closest to the locked stripe). Got the fruit down & it took 1 extra move to clear it.

Anonymous said...

No point!

Wpalatka said...

I do not mind hard. But I do mind tedious - - no strategy required - - just keep playing and playing until that lucky board comes along. Would much rather be tearing my hair out over a hard-to-solve level.

Anonymous said...

I got it! No clue how! I had only one move available..did it and got it!

Charlotte said...

Played games that didn't seem impossible when I kept opening and closing games until I was able to make a vertical stripe. For some reason this increased the chances of making more vertical stripes. It's irritating that the ingredient doesn't drop until 5 moves to go because often I'd get that far only far only to find that I didn't have enough moves to drop it to the bottom, but I got lucky with a vertical that dropped it straight down. Doable but requires luck.

Anonymous said...

Fellow CC. After a couple attempts I realized I had to use a free bomb from my free spin, kept going back until the board also gave me a set up for another bomb. Needless to say, I cleared the keys within a couple moves. The fruit dropped and within 2 moves the fruit dropped. It may take more than one try for you but once doing this got it on the first try. Don't give up, you will get it.

Anonymous said...

How do you spell BORING I HATE LEVELS with no strategy just waiting on lucky board hang it up cc when it gets this bad

mum of 3 said...

I must have got really lucky! I got this on my first board. Managed to make a vertical stripe to open up the middle one then a speckled candy to activate it and finished with one move to spare.

Anonymous said...

I unlocked the keys one time and the cherry never came down. I call total bull. I would have won that game. I had over ten moves. I got lucky. Since then? Nothing, not a single attempt has been successful. Sometimes, I think that they're messing with us.

Anonymous said...

I had no idea how to approach this level until I read so many of your helpful comments. I think the most important one is to continue to reset your first board until you can make a vertical striped candy or a chocolate bomb. This may take quite a few resets but they do appear! Vertical candy best used to get horizontal striped candy in middle but can also be used at either end to grab a key. Seems like when you get a good starting board, the luck keeps coming. Still took a number of tries and I signed out of several "good start" boards, but finally was successful in getting keys before fruit fell at 6 moves. While waiting for fruit to drop, make as many special candies as you can. In my case, I did get it to drop to bottom but then had only one move left so used one of my daily bonus hammers, which I rarely use, to crush the candy below the fruit which then made it drop. So glad to be done with this level and so happy for all the tips others share. Thanks

Ridiculous level, time to find a new game

seriously stupid level ever, 5 moves left when the cherry appear ! WTH !

Hp.fruity said...

I managed to release the stripe and blast the keys as got a stripe and sprinkle (luck) but had to wait for the fruit and still couldn't get it down. If I manage to get a stripe now it moves and blasts in the wrong place. Or if I manage to get the stripe out to blast the keys I run out of moves. Very horrible level.

Anonymous said...

No problem, I used coconut wheel and beat it third try :-)

Anonymous said...

Another incredibly stupid level. There is often only one move available. I have a chance to set something up, only to have to destroy it because that is my only move. I see that others have had success with coconut wheels. Guess I'll try that.

Anonymous said...

This. This level finally did it. I came this far without cheating and without buying any boosters, but this level caused me to cheat. I hate it for doing that.

Anonymous said...

I did it! Took me 2 attempts and some boosters, but I did it. I used a color bomb and pinwheel (the pink round booster). I don't see another way to get to the keys AND drop the ingredient in 20 moves without that help. Glad I had them...

Unknown said...

What a completely ridiculous level!! Think I'll just keep resetting the board until I get a good board or go with the coconut wheel when I get it on the daily wheel. Stupid level though 😠

Anonymous said...

Two stars, no boosters after about 40 games. I focused on getting keys that were the same color. A stripe cleared the licorice cage, followed by a chocolate speckle bomb that cleared the center stripe and the keys. Very mechanical, much like 733. JayJay

Anonymous said...

This level is RIDICULOUS! I've been frustrated before, but not like this. Think I'm going to have to build up my booster supply until I can use every booster possible. And I'm still not sure it will help! Seriously CC people.... at least make these levels a FUN challenge.

Anonymous said...

Numerous times I have broken the licorice to free up the striped candy in the middle ONLY to have the board reset itself because there are no more moves. This moves the striped candy OUT of the center. TOTALLY ridiculous move. Only one good thing has come out of it. I am deleting the candy crush app and moving on. It was fun! They screwed up on this one. Forever, Candy Crush level #733 and no more.

Anonymous said...

No doubt a stupid level. I gave in and used 2 of the boosters: the striped/wrapped combo and the coconut wheel. On my phone, I kept quitting and restarting until I saw a stripe next to the wheel (needs to be on one of the rows which extends over or under the keys - either the top 2 or the very bottom) then I swapped them on the first move which clears all the keys. Then of course I needed to wait until only 5 moves left to see the fruit (ridiculous). Fortunately, I had a new coconut wheel at this point which I was able to use to send it through the bottom. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

This level isn't possible without boosters. I'm just going to go in every day and spin the free booster wheel. When I have about 5 lollipops and several "hands", then I will, try to play it. This level is the most blatant grab by King to force people to buy boosters. The level is ridiculous. Twenty moves to do what you have to do is a joke. I don't care what anybody says, can't do this level without boosters. If 735 is supposed to be harder than this one, I'll be bidding farewell to candy crush.

Anonymous said...

As I said in previous comment, would not have passed this level without boosters, using two lollipops I had built up from the free booster wheel spin. Got a sprinkle next to the same color as the center licorice-covered candy, cleared the licorice, then got a stripe I was able to detonate under the center candy, which cleared the keys. the fruit dropped to the upper row of the bottom two conveyor belts. two lollipops cleared the two candies below the fruit to the exit. Boom shacka lacka.

I GIVE UP!

Unknown said...

No guys ... Don't give up ... Use a color bomb (if u've saved any) and open and close the level until u see an opportunity... The bomb remains there and u still have until u actually see an opportunity and u decide to start the game ... Basically if u don't like the way the board looks when u open the level (and IF u didn't use any moves) just close it as if u quit and restart the level ... U will still have ur color bomb as it will not be taken away if u didn't make any moves... I just did that and in less than 24h i managed to pass this horribly boring / sheer luck level ... See an opportunity and take it ... But yes, i do admit that in the end it is a question of dumb luck to have the cherries down low and have 3 of the same candies below it in order to drop it ... Just keep trying and shuffle the boards if u don't like the way it looks on the first opening ;-)

Use a coconut wheel and a colour bomb that you have from your daily spin. Keep resetting the board until those two candies are side by side. Use them on the first move of the game to release all the keys. Then you have all the moves until the cherry drops to set up your end game. Make a few striped candies to use to drop the cherry as soon as it appears.

I can get you past this level. You spent months (years?) getting here. Are you going to give up now?

But, it might cost you three bucks. If its not worth 3 bucks, you'll either give up or spend 3 months on it.

Anyway, start with a candy bomb. Don't have one = 1 buck.

Reset the board until you have 4 keys the same color (took me about 20 tries, do the math someone).

Kill the keys by matching your candy bomb with the same color (simple, right?). Don't bother with the one in the middle. You might kill the X but you'll kill yourself trying to set the bugger off. That's why you should go the 4 matching keys route.

Waste useless moves until the cherry comes at 5 moves left. Get that cherry as far down as you can (I got to second last row) with one move left.

Use a lollipop hammer to get it past that row (dont have one, just buy 3 for 2 bucks). or 2 hammers, or 3, enjoy that 2 bucks of damage.

Drink wine.

Torch Singer's advice (Nov 2014) is spot on. Use a pink donut to clear out the board including the centre stripe. Once you've done that you get lots more stripes coming through so it's easy to blast the centre stripe a second time and set up the board with a few stripes to hit the cherry when it appears. After I followed this advice, I won in 2 tries - only 1 star but I'm not complaining and it didn't cost anything.
