Candy Crush Saga level 738

Tips for level 738 Candy Crush Saga
The ingredients drop from the top of the center section of the board, then up into the top section, then down to the bottom row and out.
To get the fruit through this upside down board you need to clear a path through the licorice in the top of the board. You can use the stripes given but you need to make more, Stripe/wrap combos are good also but difficult to make on the restricted board.
Colour bombs are only useful once you have some of the licorice cleared as they won't touch it unless you can combine a colour bomb with a stripe.
Once you get the fruit into the top part of the board use stripes in the same column to get them down and out of the exits.

Not sure if it's the same every time, but in the game where I won, I kept track of when the fruit dropped and it is on moves 44, 36, 30 and 23. You want to make sure that on those moves, you stay away from making moves in the far ends. Otherwise the fruit will drop in the furthest left or right side and then you might as well start over as it is nearly impossible to move them over a column so that they can drop.

Another totaly useless and frustrating level. You have many moves to start with, but lots of them are useless: you will only have one possible move in the board that brings you nothing.

Boring level and like very often, you will have to wait and wait for a lucky board. I didn't get one sofar, but I know it will come in the next 50 or 100 attempts.

Good luck from the Netherlands

And, the lucky board came! I used one lolly hammer to get the last fruit down. Frustrating, boring and useless level: it brings no fun at all.

Good luck from the Netherlands!

PS: see my usefull tip at 740 (4th post)

I can't say there is a right way to do it. I can say what worked for me and hope that it helps others. I used the vertical stripes to clear a path for the fruit. Then I worked the TOP of the board as much as possible. The fruit has to come down to the middle and back up top, THEN it will exit thru the bottom with the right combos of vertical, horizontal and hopefully sprinkles. Wait for the board.

The higher you get in this game the more stupid it get's. You should just stop creating new levels if the only thing you can come up with is levels like this. I don't mind hard but just moving with no chance of winning is tiresome.

Coconut wheel made this one easy for me

Ii tried to win using the coconut wheel but no cigar. So I'll just wait for the lucky board while aimlessly making switches. However I must say this is the first time I've experienced a glitch, sometimes when I use the chocobomb, it doesn't take out all of that color. This episode has been boring rather than challenging.

Cost me 30 minutes. Sometimes nothing, but last game was super. Finished with 19 moves left.

Not that bad second attempt. Difficult part getting striped candy to clear the fruit.

How you can get a good board is beyond me. It's frustrating, but I'm the type to never give up or give in, so bring it, King. I may have gone through 35 lives, but all it takes is that one lucky board and I'm going to do it, even if it makes me pull out my last gray hair.

I thought level 734 was the most boring, I was totally wrong. This level beats it hands down. I don't believe you can get a more boring level than this one. 50 moves to start with, by the time you have used up half the moves, you know by then you have no chance of clearing the board. I have found every time I get a speckled bomb, i have no possible moves after 2 or 3 pointless moves and have to use the speckled bomb and waste it. How many more boring levels can I survive before I realise this is the most pointless exercise

Another stupid level. Coconut wheel helped me pass it.

Tempting to use the exit door if you get halfway through and only one move available at a time ... Waiting for the lucky board but bored to blazes!

Pff. Passed ! Indeed make sure that you make the moves 44, 36, 30 and 23 in the middle and not on the far ends because you want the fruit to drop in a column with an exit. Useful hint. That and a bit of luck should do the trick. Good luck !

I just don't get this level yet...wassup????
Thinking this will be the one where I say Bye Bye CC :(

Anonymous said...

What the?.. I posted not understanding this level and lo and behold, one speckled bomb with stripe made the four fruit fall. I didn't get the game and now, I don't get how I finished it, but who cares, I can go on to next level, yay!!!!

To be honest this level was not that hard once you get the gist of it, took me three goes but I nearly got there the first two times an in the end I had16 more moves left, regards AJ

Agree with the comment above me, not nearly as hard as it first appeared. Although it is boring playing thru pointless moves. Could have used a lolli to get thru it on my 3rd attempt but figured I would play it out without using the boosters. There are enough hard levels to save those up for. Bad level design here. They really need a QA team at King.

I thought this was a fun level. Think some players are suffering from Candy Crush Fatique. We are on Level 738-nothing left to prove. Quit if you've had enough and have nothing positive to add.

JanC here. I too found this an annoying yawn, and although certain it is not difficult to pass without boosters, I used my one and only hammer from the daily spin to pass this just to get it over with.

Anonymous said...

JanC, how did you use the hammer to win this? After many attempts I finally got 3 ingredients out and with only 2 moves left, the last cherry was just above one candy in the bottom row in the top section (which is really the bottom since it's reversed). Anyway, if that's clear, I wasted the hammer because it didn't work!! AAggggghhh!!! Is there therapy for this?

c/candycrush here.

Basically, any move you make in the middle only affects the middle, but if you can make a move at the top or bottom, it will also make the middle candies tick over.

Yes, I know that is because the game starts in the middle, but it took me a while to work the sequence out.

Fruit will drop in the middle, but it doesn't matter if it is top or middle (just try to avoid having it drop on either end as previous comments mentioned).

You will only get fruit out with a vertical striped candy directly in line with it.

You can do that with just a vertical stripe or you might be lucky and get a colour ball/stripe combo or stripe/wrap combo.

How I got through.

I had the last 2 of my fruits on top of each other, so I only needed one striped candy to get both through.

I had the stripe there in line but no way to detonate. This is when I used a red hand to move a red candy into the neighbouring line, so I could detonate the stripe.

The red hand got me through.

Stuck on this level for about 3 weeks. The way I passed was to save up stuff from the free wheel (ie disco ball, liqourice, striped candy, 3 extra moves) and go in with everything selected. Make a note when the first nut drops (will be around moves 43 to 46). Subsequent nuts will drop every 6 or 7 moves after the first (varies from game to game). Try not to move candies at the far edges of the board on these moves as you want your nuts to drop centrally. Try and move candies on the top board and lowest row first before the middle board. Try and make as many vertical striped candies as possible - horizontal striped candies and wrapped candies are a waste of time on this level...

It took numerous lives to figure out the rotation of this crazy board. The key is to get the ingredients into the top third in order for them to exit. Finally got it on my PC. Had two ingredients left and lucked out with a sprinkle bomb and a stripe to combine. Tough level.

Uuuggghhhhhh!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Well this is a ridiculous level, absolutely no fun at all

Hp.fruity said...

I managed to make two sprinkles next to each other and used them to clear the board 3 fruit went in but the last one was stuck on the edge very frustrating so close.

Hp.fruity said...

Finally passed no boosters just a luckier board 3 fruit were in the same column and went down together had 20 moves to get the last one in and made a stripe. To blast it in.

Candies drops at 44,37,30 and 23 that helps

738 is ridiculous! Over 100 lives and not even coming Close. No strategy available except waiting for the lucky board. So monotonous making the moves that are getting nowhere! Maybe this is as far as I get CC!

Hello Administrator of this Blog,

Thank you for this forum. Found lots of great tips here BUT I really wish the Video could be enlarged as it is a little hard for me at this reduced size to follow what is being done. Thanks again. Thresa

Since the level was essentially impossible, I just used 2 hammers and a hand-switch tool after trying it about 10 useless times. No point in time playing for days when you can just get past it, since they want you to get stuck anyway.

What is going on with king!! I don't mind a challenging game but this one is pointless! You have to make futile moves before the fruit comes down and the only way to pass this tedious level is a good board. Absolutely nothing ridiculous to dull level. If king wants to drive people away then this is the board to do it with !! Zzzzzzzz. Snoozefest!!!!

Unknown said...

Well, that's what I get for not coming here first before tackling this level. I started out and the darn nut was far right which I soon discovered no exit!!! Next one did that too. thanks for the tips about when it drops. I hope I have better luck now...grrr

Anonymous said...

Somenone at King had his head screwed on upside down when he or she created this most frustrating level in this entire game! I thought this was supposed to be a challenge and fun game. It is boring with no option of stradage at all. And luck seems to be 100 chances away. Oh and the expert video used like 7 hammers? way to go to encourage us.

Coconut Wheel was the only thing I could use after 50 tries that allowed me to win this level.

I sure agree with you. The levels have gotten veryyy stupid. You know youre not gonna ein until they decide to let you. To me tjats Not Playing a real game. Its just candy crush making you WAIT til they feel like letting you pass that level. Im about to Quit too. I hate dumb people that make these boards so stupid. After 738 levels....it really sucks! And they rven cheat ya!!! And you cant do notjing about it. They havr stoled all my gold bars through allll these levels. Honest.

I just don't get the gist of this level....a lot of wasted moves because things just don't line up...grr

Thanks for posting that great tip about when the fruit falls. It worked for my first few attempts but then I was able to keep making moves under the middle dispensers and the fruit fell down much earlier. I tried to work in the middle of the board, regardless of the level. My hope was to have the area clear so that the fruit could move once it fell.
Coconut wheel was a great help.
