Candy Crush Saga level 779

Tips for level 779 Candy Crush Saga
Level 779 is an order level where you have to collect 25 colour bombs in 48 moves.
The good thing is that you have 18 colour bombs already on the board in the form of popcorns, so you only need to make 7 more yourself. Also there are only 5 colours on the board so making colour bombs and other specials is fairly easy.
The bad news is that you have to turn the popcorn into colour bombs by hitting them with stripes or wraps 3 times.
Look to see if you can make a match in the middle between the licorice lines to clear some of the licorice as it will hinder you from getting to the bottom row of popcorn with your stripes and combos.
Other than that just make vertical stripes and colour bombs.. The more colour bombs you make the less popcorn you will have to destroy and the popcorn is harder than making colour bombs sometimes.
48 moves may seem like a lot but once you start playing the moves will soon vanish so don't waste them on matches of 3 unless you have no choice. Try to make sure every move does some good,

This level sucks !pure luck!

If you can set off two colour bombs next to each other then all other popcorns will take a hit. I found this to be a very fast way to release all the popcorns allowing time to create the extra colour bombs.

Is definitely doable, but just like in the vid, it helps if you can make or release the first one. I had two wrapped in the beginning and then it is just a walk in the park.

Hints:

Wrapped candies can break popcorn better than stripes if you trigger the wrapped candy next to one or more popcorns.

You need to make seven color bombs manually. Start looking right away, but they are easier to make as the board clears.

Match two chocolate bombs at every opportunity - soon and often - until the popcorn is clear. This is the most important trick. Once all chocolate bombs are freed, use them as usual to try to make other chocolate bombs.

Finally, I finished the 25 bombs twice without reaching points required - no guarantee to get points on this level! Once you have all the chocolate bombs you need free on the board, don't trigger then right away. Check your points first and use a few moves if needed to create combos and even extra chocolate bombs so the sugar crush will take you the minimum point level. I actually had two extra bombs for the sugar crush plus a handful of specials and 5-6 moves remaining when I triggered my last bomb and still barely cleared the 250,000 minimum.

I'm having problems making color bombs. I can often get the 18 given to us, but I can never make more than 2 or 3 others.

The conveyor can be a bit of a pain with lining stuff up coz it suddenly makes a match you haven't spotted and ruins it all ... Must be doable but have wasted so many lives ...

Very fun. Did on first attempt. Must have had a great board as I had combos galore and many cascades created more chocoballs. Ended up destroying all the popcorn and won with 12 moves left and over 500,000 points! It is definitely doable.

JanC here. After perhaps a dozen tries, the closest I got was still five short so I thought it would take awhile, which I didn't mind because it's a fun level. Then I got the luckiest board maybe ever and scored well over half a million points (I held off detonating the final sprinkle to see how high it could go, until it blew up with a dozen moves remaining). Most fun cc's allowed me to have in episodes!

Probably about 30 goes on this with the conveyor ruining several 'nearly' colour sprinkles. Eventually ended up with 23 gone and 2 left next to each other at the bottom & no moves left, so I bought the lives to finish it. Only the second time I've had to spend money, so I guess it's worth it for hours of CC.

I hate popcorn.

Thanks for the tip about exploding 2 chocolate balls together. Had my lucky board. Exploded 2 chocolate balls 3 times. Cleared popcorn.

Followed above. Color Bombs into each other to eat popcorn. Had 24 of the 25 when I remembered to check my points.....nope, not enough.....made some combos that would not hit my last color bomb.....and got 3 stars! Thank for all the help with this one!

2nd try, no boosters, 3 stars. Did 2 sprinkle+sprinkle to help pop the corn and needed more than the required sprinkles to get past the 1 star point requirement. Don't end early or you might not have enough points!

Loving this level. Have been one sprinkle off target a few times, but don't care, because it's such fun!!

Well surprise surprise. Left the post above, and on the next game won with 3 stars. Spooky!

What Fun! First try, 3 stars. Everything was exploding. Sprinkles just kept falling!😊

Well, this is truly my end... I've come so close on this level having 23 moves left and only 1 more color bomb to make. I know what makes a color bomb, I'm just not good at envisioning the moves to take to get one made. Sigh... I've been on DW 341 FOREVER because you need to make color bombs out of thin air, and now this...

Fun level!!

Took a lot of attempts. Wrapped candies are a great help. Quite good fun.

So nice to have a level with no bombs or spreading chocolate, just strategy and luck. At least for me, really fun level.

Took several tries, but this is what 3 star did it. Adjacent color bombs, and positioning color bombs next to stripes (if the color bomb is on the belt, by trying to engineer a stripe which would become next to or directly above or below down the line).

To the disheartened anonymous who had 23 remaining moves and no success, I had a few more moves than that left and also lost, so as long as it's still fun, keep the faith.

Here again. This is the level I come back to in order to take a break from the terrible (for me, at least) 803.

It's still doable, with luck and planning, and more fun than the bomb levels.

I really hate this level, it's very difficult to make the colour bonbs.
I think Candy Crush is over for me...bye buye and good luck!!

Anoniem said...

I don't understand how people can say this is a fun level !
This level sucks and is very difficult!
For me, this is maybe the end of candy crush

This level really drives me crazy!!

I kept getting down to only one or two sprinkle balls left or getting them all but not having enough points. Someone mentioned not setting them off until you have the required points. Then all of a sudden, sprinkles kept falling and I had many more than I needed and a lot of moves too. So I made combinations until I had the 250,000 points, and then set off the sprinkles. Keep at this. I thought it was fun even when I was losing. Deb

Don't give up, this is doable! 3rd try, 3stars, no boosters. Keep after the licorice on the bottom and the popcorn initially on the first row. Best advice is to set off side by side sprinkles several times, then it will fall into place.

Anonymous said...

Still my go to level while waiting for quests. Something else to try...

Once you've freed all or most of the popcorns, set them off individually. This may help you form new choc balls.

Total crap. This level has to be one of the most impossible.

I happened to get one of those color candies with the check mark in the middle from the bonus wheel. I always found those to be rather lame but because of that one candy bonus I ended up with 11 extra sprinkle bombs! Every time it came up I matched it and got a sprinkle bomb. Finished with 4 moves remaining but could have finished it with 14 remaining.
Score 409280 and 3 stars. Maybe not the most admirable way to complete the level but I was sick of it and now I'm on to the next.

Amy said...

Ps.. The two sprinkle bombs together does help a lot, thanks for that tip. Also I typo'd, score was 503280

This site rocks! Thanks to everyone who left comments! I used my color candy with the check in the middle and it kept giving me color bombs. I set off two color bombs next to each other several times. Presto, cleared level on third try!

Anonymous said...

Yup, that's the key to this level. I used the colored candy with the checkmark kn it from my free bostwer wheel spin and passed the game with 27 moves left and 827780 points!!! THANKS to Amy Damery, your tip rocked!!!

Amy said...

Oh that's good to hear! So glad I could help, thanks for letting me know.

Amy said...

Sounds like you had just as much fun with this one as I did. Well, the winning game anyway. :-)

Anonymous said...

Thought it was going to be difficult after reading comments but completed 2nd try without boosters and 11 moves left.

Unknown said...

use suprise candy as extra, when I used them they were all colour bombs. Finished the leven with 26 moves left :-)

A lot of fun to play once you get the board to open.

Start collecting sugar drops and boosters, Level 782 is a very hard and boring level. Not one you are going to want to spend any time on. Fortunately the rest of this episode is fun and not too hard. The last 3 levels 783, 784, and 785 are a breeze!

This game gets more and more ridiculous
Not enough moves to set up combos to explode popcorn let alone the idea of getting 25 choc bombs in itself
Any combos I set up are blown by conveyor belt
Those who invented the popcorn, bombs, conveyor belt are jerks
Not FUN ANYMORE

Unknown said...

I totally hate this level. Not nearly enough moves and it is just not fair.
