Candy Crush Saga level 809

Tips for level 809 Candy Crush Saga
The jelly is all in the bottom part of the board under the licorice and you also have licorice dispensers to make life a bit more difficult.
The good news is that there are 2 popcorn squares which will grow into colour bombs to help you clear the level.
There is jelly under the popcorns, so they have to be cleared to complete level 809.
Vertical stripes and colour bomb/stripe combos will take care of most of the jelly and licorice and with a bit of luck will also grow the popcorn, although I seem to be unlucky with colour bomb/stripe combos. I have had 2 in the same game and all the stripes have completely missed the popcorn!
A wrap exploded next to a popcorn is also good.
This is a fairly easy level as long as you can manage to grow the popcorn as that is the most difficult square to break.

As I suspected, completed level 808 with a bit of luck. Level 809 is another level where luck is needed...

It took a few games, but the secret is really combos all the way. Also, try to start clearing the bottom rows soon, as much as you can instead of only concentrating on striking the popcorn.

2nd try, no boosters, 3 stars. The outer jelly was the hardest to get to, so I used the sprinkles from the popcorn to help clear them down. Combos are fairly easy to make, so focus on making them rather than clearing one block at a time.

I've been at this one for a couple of days. I keep coming within one or two, but so far no cigar. Fun level but I'm getting frustrated.

I didn't find this level very much fun. I started yelling at my computer, because it looked like just a bunch more lives lost to senseless moves when all of a sudden with a few moves left, Choc. balls started falling and bam!!!

c/candycrush here.

I'm with ivyagogo on this one. I spent a couple of days on it. Sometimes got close, sometimes didn't.

It is quite an enjoyable level but I didn't think I would ever get through.

The secret? There is no secret as such, just try to get into that bottom section asap & pop the corn on the way but that is easier said than done.

I tried one game with 3 boosters at once and didn't get through.
Eventually made it no boosters. You'll need combos and to be thrown some luck.

Like above post said get into that bottom section asap & pop the corn on the way. Wrapped one by corn is better because it hits twice. Just make as many combos as you can. iPhone/no booster/about 50 tries/3stars. Oniona

Been at this awhile. Always get the popcorn but ca't clear. Close but frustrating. Even had to chocolate balls together. It will happen when I least expect it

Took about 20 attempts wrapped candy is the best at destroying the popcorn, then need some luck. Fish from bonus wheel very useful.

Got lucky. Wraps for first popcorn, stripe/wrap for second, then waited to position choc ball with stripe. Second try, three stars, but final move, so lucky.

another mind numbing waste of time level. Honestly this is simple a repetitive game from lower levels all thrown together. Time to take another break from useless programming.

I was beginning to get really bored and frustrated with this one after two days of fruitless turns. My vertical stripes weren't enough. I used sprinkle/ stripes to good effect, wraps were useful too. I finished the level with two more of my precious lollipop hammers! I shall have to hope the daily wheel stops at one. They are SO useful!

Lost track of how many lives I used! The combos finally aligned and with a lot of luck, got two sprinkles/stripes which did a lot of damage. Then another sprinkle took out the last candy with one move left. Wraps are the best to take out the popcorn. 3 stars, no boosters on the iPad.

I just finished playing this level today and have to say I had a blast. I don't know why everyone's saying it's all luck. Early on in the game I got 2 speckled balls next to each other, on the top part of the board. Bam! Later on, I got 2 speckled balls next to each again, but this time it was on the lower part of the board. Bam! I also had 2 other speckled balls thruout the game. Of those 6 speckled balls, 2 were from the popcorn. Did I get a "lucky" board? I like to think I made some calculated moves. We're all at 809! Yay us!

Dexter - 3 times 2 speckled balls next to each other and that is not luck!?

What you just described is luck. That's why. Not sure how people fail to understand that if a board is programmed to be unwinnable, then no amount of skill will help. Only luck wins every single board.

Looks like yet another level where extra moves and/or boosters are needed to complete. Getting tired of not being able to win without "help." Not much of a game in that case.

I used a hammer to finish this one off. I was tired of playing it. :)

809 is tough. The higher level I get the harder some of the levels get the more bored I'm getting with the whole candy crush game. Time to get my life back...

King is a fucking cheater. I get extra moves booster from my candy friends, when I click on them before start of a game, it registers that it is on, but instead of 38 moves- I still get only 35 moves! WTF?

Haven't been this stuck on a level for a long time. Yes I am waiting for the "lucky board". You know there will be one EVENTUALLY! Please I've been on this long enough already.
