Candy Crush Saga level 819

Tips for level 819 Candy Crush Saga
The target on level 819 is to collect 10 wrapped candies and 99 red candies in just 40 moves.
If you find this blog helpful please "LIKE"------->
Because wraps are often the hardest specials to make, concentrate on them above anything else.
Stripes don't do you any good so don't waste moves making them.
Colour bombs can be useful, but only if you can't make a wrap, given a choice of a colour bomb or wrap make the wrap. Only make colour bombs if there is no chance of a wrap, and then switch it with either a red, or some other colour which may help you make a wrap.
The frog is not really very helpful in level 819, I moved it out of the way into a bottom corner as soon as it was fully grown to give me a bigger area for making my wraps.
Keep your eye on the number of red candies still left to collect, but I found that they usually took care of themselves if I managed to make all the wrapped candies I needed.

Waiting for help on levels 817 and 818???

Marc Shapiro said...

Really tough level. Wraps are hard to come by.

DAK4Blizzard said...

This level needs to be fixed. If you make a wrap with the frog being involved, it won't count as a wrap. What is the point of the frog in this level?

It's difficult, but not impossible, to complete one of the 2 goals. I'm finding it near-impossible to complete both goals.

Tony said...

Difficult level, have got to within 3 orders, agree the frog is useless and you can't make bombs with it,I have been moving it out of the way also gives you more room to maneuver.

Anonymous said...

I've been stuck on 819 for 4 days. One time I only needed 3 red candies to pass and then ran out of moves!!!! How cruel is that! I haven't come that close again and this is really getting a boring. I totally agree that the frog is useless. In fact it's worse than useless since wraps made with the frog don't count toward the orders. I hate wasting moves to feed the frog but as soon as possible I move it to an upper corner to get it out of the way. We didn't get to level 819 not understanding how to play but this level is stupid hard. I suppose we'll get lucky eventually... Good luck to everyone! -- Carla.

Anonymous said...

Yes it REALLY sucks that mixing frog and wraps DOES NOT COUNT! It is best to put the frog in the bottom corner and ignore it. This level is basically pure luck - really NASTY! You basically have to hope mystery candies create wraps! Color bombs are the only other useful special as you have a better chance of creating wraps with one less color. The best way to "fix" this level would be to have only 5 colors!

Anonymous said...

819 is easy compared with 820!

muppet147 said...

819 is an absolute nightmare. there has to be a logical way of doing it but i have not found it

Anonymous said...

I guess King just wants us to stop playing this game. He's probably making more money with those playing in the 300 to 500 levels...

Anonymous said...

muppet147 - no there is NOT a logical way to play this. At this point we're pretty much experts at this game. Some levels like this one are just designed to be basically impossible with a lot of lot needed! Wraps levels ARE THE WORST! The only saving grace for this type level is that they change the number of colors to 5 instead of 6.

Anonymous said...

Stupid Level. This is the only level where the frog actually HURTS you. You are best to quickly get it into the bottom corner out of the way. The only other hope is to get very lucky with the mystery candies and hope that most turn into wraps (unlikely).

Anonymous said...

I've managed to get down to 5 wraps and 25 reds needed...closest I've gotten in 50+ games.

Anonymous said...

Agree with Anonymous above 819 easy compared to 820, give up now while you're ahead!!! waste of a life!

Carla here again. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN I can't believe I finally passed 819- without any boosters. Just took a lot of time before every move and in the end I got very lucky. So happy to be through with that!

Anonymous said...

It's been a long time since I've had to search out a level. Found the same thing.. frog totally useless and wrapped candies created by frog don't count toward the 10. I've barely had any luck at all with getting anything close to 10 (one time got 7) and usually still need at least 25 or more red. No fun, only good thing is that it takes the 'addiction' away.. this is a level you don't WANT to play.

Tony said...

Finally passed the level with no boosters. ignore the frog, just concentrate on making wraps, the frog will eventually grow so it can be moved out of the way into a corner. With luck this will happen early, use choc bombs to remove a colour other than the colour that is most on the board this will result in more chance to make a wrap. I didn't use it to get rid of reds, they took care of themselves as I made wraps and exploded them 2nd last move I needed 1 red and 1 wrap, I had two wraps on board ready to explode so did it comfortably, took me a lot of games but it's possible as always you just have to stick at it and take your time.

Anonymous said...

Yes they are trying to get the experts to quit with ridiculous back-to-back levels 819,820. I wonder if anyone has finished this set yet? None of us have.

Lisa said...

Closest I got was 4 wraps and 4 reds left. Another time I got all the wraps but over 20 reds to go. Waiting for them to update and change something...won't waste anymore money...that is for sure.

Unknown said...

Well, I was wrong. I finally got that great board where most of the mystery candies turn into wraps and passed the level. Still had three moves left when I got the necessary reds. (no boosters)

Agree with the two above, 920 seems worse. Looks like a tough section.

JB

Anonymous said...

Just wait till you get to 820! I have gotten to just one striped combo and failed!

Anonymous said...

Dumb level. 10 moves left and needed 33 red and 2 wraps. Got the wraps but still needed 27 reds 10 moves later! Totally bogus!

muppet147 said...

Finally done 819 after 3 days! Total luck but i suppose that slowing down my game play to try and work out moves helped just a little. I started playing candy crush to help me stop smoking so if i can beat the ciggies then i can beat king!!

Anonymous said...

Finally got through this miserable level after playing at least 200 times. All luck and added moves at the end, no boosters. So 820 is worse? I must be crazy to keep doing this.

Anonymous said...

Definitely stuck here :(

Anonymous said...

I have been stuck since this level opened. Four of my friends have passed this level and 820, one of them is on 829 so there is still hope.

Anonymous said...

This is the longest I have been stuck on a level in a long time. I hate making wraps anyway, but this is ridiculous!

Anonymous said...

I managed to pass this level only by using the Lucky Candy I got from the daily free spin. :D

Anonymous said...

What a freaking boring level. I'm not happy to hear that 820 is worse. The last few levels that have included the frog, it's been more of a hinderance than a help - just like this level. It's hard enough as it is but most of the mystery candies seem to be blockers. Is this really necessary? What's worse is that I have to play on the pc because this level isn't on the mobiles yet so I can't even back out of a games that I know will be losers. Getting fed up King. Are you listening?

Anonymous said...

819.....really lost fun playing this game :(

Anonymous said...

Finally, after days and days on 819, I have gotten through it. I may change my tune, but I at this point, I'm just so relieved not to be playing that idiotic level, that I don't care that 820 is hard. I've only played 820 3 times and have gotten down to one left. It just feels SO SO good to be rid of 819. Now I have to retrain my brain to ignore reds and STOP making wraps!! Hallelujah. It'll happen guys. Don't despair!

Anonymous said...

Finally! I was concentrating so I didn't even realize I'd done it. My thoughts - get the frog out of the way as quickly as possible to a corner, concentrate on making wraps - sometimes you can make more than one before you need to explode them, use sprinkle balls to immediately get rid of a color, if you have no wrap or spindle ball move get rid of red. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

Got it with 7 moves left needing 21 reds .. had the 10 wraps then made a lucky freckle that fell next to red! ! With one move left! I had made it to one wrap left few games b4 but no moves took break it. So it's possible yes... easy no
I think it took me about 30 or do lives... thought would be here forever. Sounds like next level is awful. Lets see. Good luck.

Candy crush! I have been using this to get thru my divorce... I'm frustrated enough! Really... Are you kidding me? Stupid frog that does nothing except take your moves... Blocks instead of good special candies...chocolate... Why don't you just throw in a tornado and some bombs to really make it not doable. I have been losing interest in this game for the last few months... Now you know why you have to run a survey why we are not playing soda. I don't want to be twice as frustrated and bored. My suggestion? Give you players a break... Only 2 frustrating barriers per game. I don't even care to move to the next level. I find myself going back to replay the games that I enjoyed instead of moving on. I sent 240 requests for lives... Got 12 lives... It's because my friends aren't even playing anymore. And I used to but boosters but you're not getting any more of my money. Sorry, but I can play solitaire and really enjoy the challenge which I have been doing a lot more of lately. It's my first choice instead of cranium crush. If you read your comments you will see that a lot of your faithful players feel the same.

Cybelle said...

Frustrated, I can do the wrapped ones but not even close with the red ones....

Peachie said...

FINALLY! It took 2 extra moves gold bars (18). I am so glad to be done with it; though you guys are saying 820 is just as bad. Anyway, I got 3 stars but I did need extra moves to get it done.

Anonymous said...

I got a bit lucky with this, as soon as the fruit were unlocked and had fallen into the single space of the bottom section I detonated a striped/striped at the bottom in the centre by the indent and this caused the fruits to slip sideways and out the exit. I suspect the same thing would happen with a wrap/stripe or just a match, but I finished with 22 moves spare so is definitely the easiest way to do it!

Janine Marie said...

Got this on just a few tries will waiting for a plane. Did 818 and 819 in a row (before real coffee) and a 6 am flight......not sure how, but am now faced with the beast of 820 which willl be a multi day project. Just keep making wraps. Ignored Stripes. Ingore the silly frog (in my way). Did a stripe/wrapped combos to shake things up towards the end and prayed for red to fall. Then had to clean up 7 reds to move on. Thanks for all the help!! I could not have gotten this far without this blogspot!

Anonymous said...

I don't know what everyone is complaining about with level 819. It was actually fun and I probably got it in 10 tries with no boosters and 3 moves remaining. Maybe I had a lucky board. Good luck!!

Anonymous said...

Waiting for the lucky board. Hard level.

Anonymous said...

2 weeks on and still no luck. It has now appeared on the iPad and it seems easier there. I have got all the wrapped once but was still a long way off with the reds

Anonymous said...

I'm about ready to quit this game. Over two weeks and still can't get past this level such that all the fun is gone. Been down to 2 red candies once, have had all the reds but not the wraps a few times, or all the wraps but not the reds. There aren't enough moves in this level.

Anonymous said...

Was able to twice get the ten wraps but missing 30+ reds. So selected wrap / stripe booster (from wheel) at start and kept restarting till I had a set up to make a wrap on the first move. So had two wraps after the first move. Got it the second try this way. Advice for app only.

Anonymous said...

This level is truly boring. When you can't even get close, there is no point in trying. There are just too many of these maddening, boring levels lately. Thankfully I have discovered Words With Friends and Trivia Crack. They are my go-to games now.

Anonymous said...

After 3 days of going close only once I looked back here for inspiration and then took things a bit slower and next game got it on last move. First look at 820 and I nearly beat it in first two goes - It looks easier. Regards AJ

Anonymous said...

JanC here. Easy level 1 star no boosters. Good luck all! Dont you wish you were as good as me?

Anonymous said...

Really!! jJan an AJ!

I've done all the wraps and used a door bomb with a red and there weren't even enough reds on the boards with 4 moves to go to even have a shot!!

Thanks for the tip though from the earlier posts to move thyroglobulin out of the way- that really helped, but truly, what's a girl got to do??!!
CC

Anonymous said...

Ok, there is hope! 3 stars no boosters, but it took over 30 tries!!
I did fing that color/ stripes helped clear the board of a lot of reds while I was building my wraps which have to be your first priority.
But don't dismiss those explosive combos or you will always be left with some reds. Good Luck!
CC

Jen said...

Just done this one after a LOT of tries...same as most saying..Dont worry too much about the reds, they will fall into place but DO get the frog out the way into any corner as soon as possible. He is the enemy in this game. Good luck all!

Anonymous said...

Looks like I' going to need a lucky board to get this level!!!

Anonymous said...

Boring, boring, boring! Absolute mind numbingly stupid, frustrating level. Take the stupid frog out and stop giving stupid surprise candies...which no surprise, is either a block, chocolate or bomb but very seldom a wrap. So glad to hear the next level is as bad. Monster Busters here I come, at least that gives you half a chance. King, you need to employ people with a bit of imagination instead of sticking them in a darkened room, which is where I shall be leaving Candy Crush Saga. After throwing a few choice swear words at it!

onlylisa said...

Stupid level does NOT want to let you make wraps. Moving the frog takes one precious move.

Anonymous said...

It's Kath... Been over a week now... And I'm getting really ticked off... Close every now and then, but.... Candies just not falling my way.. Ummmm. Good luck fellow crushers...

Anonymous said...

UGH! Impossible.

Anonymous said...

Getting so frustrated with this level and especially with that frog! I normally like the frog but on this level I HATE IT, it gets in the way and if you make it a wrapped candy... I DOESNT COUNT!!! Ugh

Unknown said...

I used a roller candy i got through the daily spin.....kept backing out of the board and going back in until i got a good combo to create a wrap by the roller. Roll over the wrap and it will turn everything it rolls over into a wrapped candy. Then concentrate on reds.

Anonymous said...

This level is completely frustrating. I got all wraps and needed only 8 reds. I've never spent a dime but was willing to buy 5 moves to see if I could finally pass it. It would tell me that my purchase went through but I never got the bars. I had better not have any charges to my card! I have been stuck here 2 weeks, and I'm getting rather tired of it. About to call it quits!!

Rain Thompson said...

It's all about the luck, about the luck. YUCK!!! I'm ready to give it up. Used up all the boosters I had and now depending on other's for lives. My goodness, could they make it any harder? Days I've been at this. NEXT ONE I HEAR is the worse, too. UGH!

Anonymous said...

cherylcandycrush here.

This level is extremely hard, one of the hardest I have come across if you are trying to get through without boosters, as I am having to do.
The frog is useless. A few times he has been in the right colour/position to make a wrap but when used as part of the team, I don't get my wrap!!

The surprise candies are 90% of the time blockers or stripes.

I do have a tip. If you get any of those special candy on your daily wheel spin, You know the ones, the ones that are a tick? Use that booster here. This is the level where it will shine.

I can't follow this tip, as I only had 3 and I have used them. The first couple of times I used them with a stripe/wrap booster and it sure helped enormously but not quite enough, I still could not get enough wraps (and yes, I do stop after each move and look for opportunities to set one up).

But the third time I used one, suddenly I was being thrown dozens of the ticked candies. nearly all of them were wraps and I had my 10 wraps and probably 10 more with several moves still to go. What I didn't have were enough reds. I finished with about 4 reds still to go, which was a downer.

But that special tick candy will do the trick if you use one over a few games, I am almost sure of it. Some turns it is more useful than others. It can turn a hard task into a much easier one.

Anonymous said...

I have played this level 100s of times. Twice I've got all ten wraps but not enough reds to complete. Last time I only had 16 reds left before I ran out of lives. Maybe King just wants people to pay for extra lives after they have become so frustrated when they nearly get there.

Anonymous said...

What are tick candies?

Anonymous said...

Eight hundred and nineteen levels over a two year period. Yor're no fun anymore Bye bye CC

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush here (again)
Just got through, one booster used early on ( a red hand to move a candy so I could make a wrap)

A tick candy-for anon above-is a 'lucky candy'. It is in a circle with a tick inside it.
When matched in a game, it will turn into something that you need in that particular game.
At level 819, it will be either a red candy or else a wrap. I wish I had had a few. I think they are second hardest to win on the free spin (after the jackpot which I think is close to impossible).

The thing is, if you use a lucky candy in this game, you won't only get one, you will get several in the course of the game & it can really help.

How did I get through? The opportunity to make wraps started straight off. It is my theory that if you haven't made a wrap by move 5 it is all over, red rover (without boosters).
I was able to make 2 next to each other, then a few wraps spontaneously generated. I had the wraps done well before I had collected enough reds.

It took hundreds of tries to get through. Don't be afraid to use a booster. If ever there is a level where a boost is welcome, this is one.

Anonymous said...

JanC here. The real one! Still stuck on 819 -- been playing dreamworld instead. Figured I'd wait til king fixed this level: too tedious! Came back to comments to see how you all were faring and saw someone posted as me in a spoof comment. Made my day!

Rain Thompson said...

I've been at this for days. I've never gotten a tick or a jackpot. I must be the most unluckiest person of the bunch. UGH (my usual tagline. I'm exhausted with this one and heard the next one is worse. Oy vey!!!

Anonymous said...

JanC here (really) ha! That person posting as me (Feb 10) brought me luck! Thank you, stranger! Jk: actually what did it was the commenter who recommended using the wrap+stripe booster & rolling boards until you open with a board that has another wrap ready to make. First time I tried it, I got the wraps but was 50+ short of reds. Then I just tried that same strategy again and it worked, three stars. Yay! Now I'm off to the fresh hell I gather awaits on 720. Sigh.

Anonymous said...

JanC here! The real one! Haha. If you want tips on CC just message me! I crush these candies! Tehehe.

Buddyboy said...

Ok just played level 819 4 times! Tough but the 10 previous levels were fun and fairly easy! If your this far you in! You know you love a challenge! It's a doable board! Hey at least it's not levels in the 400! Remember those??? Poor suckers stuck there! Be happy no cyclones! Well on to 819! Love these blog! I've gotten through many levels with help from here!

Anonymous said...

Level 819 is impossible! I have had all but one wrap to get in some games and all but one red to get in others. I have been on this level for days. Don't see any chance of getting through this unless I just by chance get a lucky board. Just about done with CC !

Anonymous said...

This level is rapidly curing my Candy Crush addiction. Not sure it is possible.

Anonymous said...

I hate, hate, HATE being the latest whiner on this. Always swore that I wouldn't, because obviously SOMEBODY is beating this level. I have at least two FB friends who are past it.

But I just don't see how you're getting 10 wrapped opportunities in the moves allotted. I think you'll get the reds in time if you get the 10 wraps, but I can't really get more than 7-8.

Anonymous said...

This is the cc version of a Rubik cube..I know people who can solve it but I'm not one!!!

Anonymous said...

OMG. Here we go again! Complain complain complain! Geez people calm down. You know that the levels are getting harder as you go, so deal with it and quit crying, or just quit! You have gotten this far, you know there are really hard levels, deal with it or delete the game!

Bill. said...

Agree pure luck when wrapped candies form very tedious took 50 attempts.

LillyOC said...

Have been playing this level for weeks now! Cannot get through it, I have found this to be the most frustrating level I have played, hate to give up but just cannot see an end to it.

Anonymous said...

Played well over a hundred games!

Have managed to get the wraps twice but not the 99 reds.

Wish they would reduce the number of reds required or increase the number of moves.

Cat said...

Must've gotten really lucky, took fewer than 10. Having said that, my suggestions...

Always reset until there is a starting wrap. Don't use the frog for a wrap. I found out the hard way before I read this blog that, as others have said, it won't count. Move the frog to the corner as soon as possible, but use the sprinkles on the same color so you can grow it and save it in case you need it for the reds at the end.

Good luck.

Anonymous said...

Still trying to beat this BAD HARD level...anyone else have issues with wraps not getting counted??several times this has happened during my hundreds of attempts to beat this level!! Have gotten close a few times with the closest being only needing 2 wraps-red done...so,still waiting for that lucky board... :(

Anonymous said...

I think I've had enough.

Have fulfilled the wrap order several times but never the 99 reds.

Just been down to one red remaining.

It's just not fun anymore!

Anonymous said...

Finally passed this one today. This is the longest I've been stuck on a level - several weeks. In the last couple days I began to notice some things that were helping me to get close. 1.reset the board until you can make a wrap right away on the first move. 2.sprinkles - I used them to collect reds. On the winning board I made at least 2 sprinkles and collected reds with them 3.the frog - I did better if I did NOT move the frog to the bottom corner. The frog took care of itself with me needing to feed it deliberately. When it started flashing I looked for a place to put it where it could either collect a few reds or could explode a wrap that was hard to match. On the winning board I moved the frog 2-3 times. Enough times to collect the reds I needed. Passed without boosters, 4 moves to spare. I hate the next level too.

Anoniem said...

Undoable this level......for me (finally) the end of Candy Crush!!
Back to real life! Bye bye!!

Anonymous said...

Laney got 17 & 18 on first try using combos. Not sure what happened. 20 is a problem.

Anon lafy said...

I got the 10 wraps but needed another 14 reds, so I gave in and bought 5 more gos. I had been stuck on the level for far too long to worry about a small amount of money!

I am not good at making wraps and could forsee this chance being many, many lives away. I am a tad ashamed of giving in, but there you are.

Anonymous said...

After reading the comments on here, I was really apprehensive about this level. I played it about 15 times last night and then this morning, beat it on my first try. I made two red wraps in the very beginning and used the frog to get rid of a bomb that came out of a special candy. All of a sudden, wraps kept coming and the red candies, too. Very very surprised (and happy).

Anonymous said...

Level nerfed...passed 4th try & others close.wraps coming easily with open board cascades & red candies almost get themselves.if u can move frog bottom corner out of way..not really difficult with nerf...doable & actually fun with still some wrap challenge creating

kfmconsulting said...

Took 20+ lives but finally got it. 3 stars, no boosters. King must have updated. Agree that frog is of no use so grow it and move to a corner

Bill. said...

Much easier now King must have changed something wraps much more plentiful.

Anonymous said...

Either things have changed or I got an extremely lucky board. One try, 3 stars (and that is not typical for me).

Anonymous said...

After reading the early comments, I was really sweating this level as I waited for the Tooth Fairy to open the episode for me. But it turned out to be very easy. Got lots of packaged candies, finished on the first try with seven moves left. Looking at the remarks just before my post, it would seem that King did indeed heed the comments and make the level easier.

Thresa said...

Honestly Got it 1st try. I don't know if it was changed to be easier but the cascades just made wrap after wrap and even had extra wraps and extra moves left after meeting goals. Good luck to you too. On to 820. Thresa 3stars

Unknown said...

They must have changed the difficulty of this one because I managed it after the 4th go. Wraps plentiful. Definitely worth moving the frog though, its pointless

Anonymous said...

I got this one on my first try! Just confirms what I have known all along.... it's about the luck of the board! I have had a really hard time on some levels everyone thought was so easy. Glad I got through this one.... I was nervous after all the messages I read about it on 815.

Anonymous said...

819 easy level what's all the fuss about?820 did first time much harder levels than them.keep at it you will get the board you need.

I tried again to remember all the comments and follow them and got it on my first try. Thank you again. Now to the dreaded 820.

Here we go again -- video shows 40 moves -- mine only shows 21 moves!! Would really like to know why this happens?? If, as some of you say it is hard with 40 moves -- try it with 21 moves!! CC get your act together!

Anonymous said...

I agree that the levels where the videos show 35 or 40 moves but actually we as players are given 21 moves it is like the saying "luck of the draw of the board". I will succeed when that board shows up.

missy said...

How in the world are we supposed to do this with only 21 moves?

21 moves now ??!!’ That’s enough ! We have too many things to deal with right now. Playing an unfair frustrating game isn’t one of them ! Keep your free lives ! Big deal !
