Candy Crush Saga level 863

Tips for level 863 Candy Crush Saga

Please "LIKE" and "SHARE"------->

You need to collect 3 ingredients in 40 moves. The ingredients are locked art the top of the right hand column, above the cream blockers.
To release the ingredients you need to collect keys, some of the keys are locked in marmalade at the bottom of the board. Those three keys will release a column of bombs on the left and the forth key which you need to unlock the fruit.
Don't be in a hurry to collect the keys, first use stripes and stripe/wrap combos to clear the cream blockers holding back the fruit. A colour bomb/stripe combo is also very useful.
You probably won't be able to clear the cream completely before the keys are matched and the bombs released, but you'll be able to clear a fair amount.
Once the bombs are released keep working to make stripe/wrap combos and colour bomb/stripe combos to control the bombs and continue clearing cream.
Once the cream blockers are gone the fruit should fall down and out of the exit .

I'm having trouble in this episode because my board keeps freezing not because the level is hard ,so frustrating because I keep having to exit the game .

Anonymous said...

Not nearly as easy as the description explains!!!!!!! Sure need a lucky board for this one!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Difficult level. Got close once and got only one ingredient out. At least this one requires a bit of strategy and not all luck.

Anonymous said...

Agreed - this is very difficult as you need SO many horizontal stripes. Even color bomb/stripe combos not doing the trick for me.

Anonymous said...

This is a great level to use your coconut wheels! It is good for 3 horiz stripes and I was able to finish this in the first try using this usually not very useful booster.

Anonymous said...

i've been stuck on this one a while, it seems logical HOW to succeed, just can't manage it!

Anonymous said...

This level SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Another level that is quite impossible. If the 3 ingredients fell together it would by hard enough. But when you finally get rid of every key. you still have to deal with bombs falling between the ingredients. Just have to wait until they revise this level - its a waste of time playing it like this..

Anonymous said...

This level is impossible. Not fun anymore.

Anonymous said...

I'm bored to death on this level. Will need to stop for a while and just accumulate boosters for a month or two just to get through this level.

Anonymous said...

Terribly BORED here, agree with above, need to just stop playing for a while which is sad since I had to wait for new levels to play, :(

Kickan said...

VERY difficult level. I agree with comments above. I had to wait for new levels and when they appeared this level is impossible... even to get one fruit down the chute. It actually puts me in a bad move to think of playing this game. Time to take a CC break and start a good book or ken-ken puzzle.

Anonymous said...

Use your coconut wheel! With about 8 moves left, I had two cherries on top of a tray.with empty space under it. Just went ahead and used a lollipop hammer to take out the tray, and all 3 cherries dropped down and out. JS

Anonymous said...

Time to take a CC break

Jane said...

I used my coconut wheel but it didn't help. Does anyone know when this episode will be available for iPad?

Kickan said...

I found that this level has become easier the past couple of days. Today I finally completed it with several combos and had the last cherry left above one empty tray. I used a lollipop hammer, and voila, out it went from the chute. Onward....

Jane said...

I don't think this level has become any easier. I don't think there is much strategy here. You have to have luck to have the opportunity to make wraps, strips and sprinkle balls

onlylisa said...

Coconut wheel only helps if you get multiple wheels. Just one isn't enough.

Anonymous said...

Not easier at all. I've used up all my boosters and it is impossible without them. Yes very very boring. Even a sprinkle with a stripe doesn't do much to clear the right column - you are lucky if you get more than one horizonal stripe out of it to help you.

Anonymous said...

When will this episode be on IPad?

Jane said...

I asked the same question. Someone told me to download Puffin. I have been playing on that but it is slow 21

I almost won it but ran out of moves. I had a one hit block left and all the fruit lined up behind it, if I had got that one hit I would have won :(
It took 3 stripe/colour bomb combos to get to that point, which may be a clue on how to beat this level

Unknown said...

difficult level. I found that if you can manage to get and combine two wraps in the far-right side of the board, it blows out a lot of the cream where the ingredients drop. I tried coconut wheels too, good in theory, but they didn't help. on the right board, maybe. I see myself on this level for a while.

onlylisa said...

Finally did it. You need a few stripe wrap combos to win

Anonymous said...

Coconut wheels and its easy along with wrap stripe combos...had 4 attempts then 2nd time with coconut wheel done

Anonymous said...

To start with I used one of my free choc sprinkles and combined it with a stripe which helped to get rid of most of the keys and some of the cream. I then used special combos when I could to clear more of the board and then formed another choc sprinkle and was able to combine it with a stripe and the 3 ingredients came out all at once with one move left. I did also try coconut wheels and whilst they did help a bit, I could never finish a level just using them.

I think this maybe the level that finally makes me quit candy crush..I don't even play this level for more than 1/2 times a day.I just don't have the patience anymore. The way the levels have been set up in recent times. Idiotic hard levels followed by easier levels then the ones at the beginning of the entire game.
Points to king trying to keep users from going while trying to get as much money out of the user has possible.
I don't expect the levels to be easy this far into the game. I just don't expect to be forced to cancel the game because I cant beat it.

Anonymous said...

Another hard level done in only a few attempts - my lucky day, used a wheel and made sure I had a stripe ready to take out the last key. Regards AJ

Anonymous said...

I completed the level on my second try with no boosters. It's not too difficult as long as you manage to not release the bombs too early. I tried to save at least one key on the middle board until I had all the blocks under the ingredients removed. One stripe/wrap combination helped a lot and I could make some horizontal stripes to clear the blocks. Then I let the bombs fall and luckily had a chocolate bomb ready to destroy the last key. All thre ingredients slipped out of the exit at once.

The bombs have a countdown of 15, so from move 14 the bombs will do no harm if they fall, even if you still have blocks left.

This is the second time in this episode that I completed an apparently difficult level quite easily. I'm sure I can't stay that lucky and I'm starting to dread the next levels.

Good luck from Germany - Gabi

JanC here. Tried once, looked impossible, so I came here for tips. Thanks so much to commenter above who suggested a coconut wheel. Only got one, but it was enough. Then, with two moves left, I used a hammer on the last layer of the final cream blocking my three ingredients & presto, I'm done! If you have wheels & hammers saved up, I recommend it if you're short of patience.

Van5 said...

Getting very frustrated with this level. I'm going to try the coconut wheel and see if it helps. Still waiting for the lucky board😞

Van5 said...

Hallelujah! Coconut wheel did its magic along with a lucky board! Finally!

Anonymous said...

Passed on 2nd try, no boosters. Make your priority to clear most of the meringue on the right BEFORE you collect keys and release bombs. Then collect keys and focus on vertical stripes, stripe/wrap combos and choco balls to clear a path for fruit to drop. Good luck candy crushers!!!

Anonymous said...

Pretty easy, 2nd try passed. Just concentrate on the icing blockers 1rst, then the keys. Keep a horizontal stripe on the bottom, if you can, for use after the icing is gone and last key is dropped. Good luck everyone

Pugmom said...

Guess I just got my lucky board. After busting thru two layers of cream, used two free hammers and all the fruit dropped.

Jocelyn said...

3rd try, 3 stars, needed one lollipop hammer to get through the last block before the bombs exploded. Two sprinkle + stripes and two stripe + wraps were the lucky combos I needed.

Anonymous said...

No comments from JanC yet?

Anonymous said...

Once I saw the hint to clear all the icing blockers first I was able to finish in a few tries.

Anonymous said...

No need for the coconut wheel. I cleared the cream and finished with a lollipop on last one, and the three fruit just fell together. Took only two tries to complete this level, three moves left, two stars.

Anonymous said...

How do you prevent bombs from entering the fruit column? I am at a loss on this one. The coconut wheel doesn't really help. Thanks so much for all the help here. JP

Anonymous said...

I don't know how you are suppose to beat this level.. Takes you at least 20 moves to remove the triple/quadruple icing on the right.. Even if you avoid removing the keys..When the fruit falls.. there are numerous lines of bombs on the right. you basically have 3/4 moves to get it right near the end.

Charlotte said...

Wow really surprised that I managed to do this so quickly. Just try to gather as many horizontals as you can, making sure that they hit different blocks on the right. Stripes and wraps are useful for hitting 3 of them if made in the right place. Try to hold off hitting the keys until you're nearly at the 15 moves remaining mark so that the bombs don't catch you out. I used a lollipop hammer for the last key once I'd broken all the blocks on the right.

Anonymous said...

This level is totally unfair.. That's all I have to really say on the matter..

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush here
Very difficult level. You know those daily spin free boosters you collect? Now is the time to lash out and use one of your coconut wheels.

Remember you don't just get one, the system will send several. Lower it (if possible) to get max value. It was ridiculously easy first off once I used a wheel

If you play no boosters, try to clear the right hand side as much as possible with wraps/stripes or colour ball/stripes before matching the keys.
You'll get bombs coming down on the right hand side too, once you clear the cream.

Just two words -COCONUT WHEEL

Anonymous said...

I wasted a coconut wheel but got ohhhh so close. *UGH* Need another lucky board and wheel.

Anonymous said...

Still no luck. *UGH*

Bill. said...

Need horizontal striped candies to clear rhs before releasing the keys and bombs. Then another one to get the last key difficult but not impossible.

Anonymous said...

I finally passed this level, but had to use my last two lollipops to get the two jellies that were blocking the fruit. I'm just glad I finished it.

Anonymous said...

Oh my, I just got a score of 752,000 twice as high as my competitors. I still did not get the level done. Very discouraging. Crazy making.

Anon lafy said...

Oh dear - this was a real chore! Not a challenge, just try, try, try. I did use most of my coconut wheels but they didn't help at all. Eventually, I got. my three fruits ready to drop with one obstruction in the way, so I used my last lollipop hammer and off went the cherries! At last!

kfmconsulting said...

Tough, tough level!!! After 30 frustrating lives, making no progress, gave in and started using my free coconut wheels to make horizontal stripes. 3rd try using one, I finally finished the level with 3 stars. Don't care for ingredient levels to begin with, but this was particularly hard!!

Anonymous said...

I have played probably 40-50 times a day with extra lives from friends. I do it on Ipad and PC. This is not easy. I do not even come close enough to buy. I have no coconut wheels. This is especially hard at least for me. I have watched tons of YouTube plus this and nothing is working. Horizontal stripes are tough

Anonymous said...

Horrible level. That is all.

Anonymous said...

Very tough level & failed 25 + times & giving up hope...Kept making horizontal hits & strip/wrap & color bomb stripes but never enough in any game...Had no boosters so kept going & bingo had 2 big bomb/stripe combos & 1 stripe/wrap & several horizontal hits & had 1 last double layer blocker left with 1 move & could not believe it but right against right column was a side by side wrap & made combo & watched the 2 blasts wipe out last block & 3 ingredients dropped out...Yeah no boosters & glad its over...Very hard & lost fun after so many failures.Dont ever give up.

Bling59 said...

It's already available on an iPad. I'm playing it now.

Bling59 said...

Got it on the 5th try. Systematically break each block with a horizontal stripe. Do not smash the last key till there are less than 15 moves left otherwise it's impossible to detonate the bombs.

Noella said...

Consistently, this is the BEST help I have found to get this far with CCS! Both advice given and other players' comments have got me through. I thought I had come to the end after days stuck at this level, but after using techniques shared I cleared it in 2 games. Thank you to all!

Anonymous said...

Was on this level on 3 devices for 2 days. Finally used a coconut wheel (on PC) and got it first try - 3 stars. Coconut wheels are not available as boosters for so many levels, but I seem to win them frequently in the daily spin so I always have a stockpile. Thanks for the tip!

Unknown said...

This level wins three stars for the most boring, frustrating level in the game. What on earth were the developers thinking when they allowed level 863 to be published. Truly, the level will just make you mad. Turn back now!!!! Strategy is minimal, and when you actually are able to set something up, a cascade from above destroys it. No way to kill the all the 15 count bombs, unlock the keys, clear the frickin' multi-layer cream. Is there actually a level 864 or is this the end?

Sunnyday said...

Been on this for a couple of days and getting really bored. Got one fruit down once followed by aline of bombs that I had no hope of clearing in the moves left. Stripe/sprinkle combos don't seem to help much. Losing the love...

Anonymous said...

I just passed this level. Thanks for the advice on not breaking the last key until move 14. I got two stripe/wrap and used a lollipop to take out one block. I still had 2 moves left but just wanted off this level so I used the lollipop.

Sunnyday said...

Never been stuck on a level for this long. Had loads of combos but nothing seems to get me through. Just waiting for the lucky board, just bored in the meantime!

Anonymous said...

I didn't get the fish that I got on the wheel for this level. Hmmm. Not liking this level. It's cheating me. Bla!

Anonymous said...

Let me pass!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Yes, coconut wheel booster worked for me.

Anonymous said...

This level was a major pain for me. I tried several coconut wheels and also sprinkled candy bombs but it did not work. Until I was (with one move left over)able to use the hand booster and swap the ingredient over with a bomb. And there it slipped away and I was done! I even got to the top of the leader board. But it took so long! One of my worst ever. Grace from down Under.

Anonymous said...

This one is tough! I feel like I'm a failure at making horizontal stripes! Oh well... back at it....

Anonymous said...

JanC here. First try, seven boosters used mainly coco wheel. Easy easy easy when you're me! Yay happy dance.

Unknown said...

Well unlike many of you I did not have any boosters available to me. It took me many many tries but I figured it out finally. The key for me was to take out the creams blocker on the right in reverse order to prevent bombs from getting mixed with the ingredients. If you take out the key under the bombs that released bombs into your right hand side making it very very difficult to get all the fruit out. Once you have just the top blocker there go ahead and get all the keys including the one under the bombs. Then take out the remaining blocker and voila all three fruits fall right out. I do not know if this will help anyone else.....but it is the only thing that worked for me. Good luck..see you on the next level!!!

Anonymous said...

Completed first try with coconut wheel played with chocolate ball.

Anonymous said...

Happy dance for me too. First try with coconut wheel mixed with chocolate ball.

It took four days, but I finally beat 863 (three stars and no boosters, for those who care about these markers). One time I thought I had it, but only two cherries had descended and I needed the third! I flailed around making combos until I remembered that the fruit only came down the right hand column and by then it was too late. My tips: The level has three distinct stages.Moving too quickly from one stage to the next only makes the level harder. Stage 1: clear the right column as much as you can. I found wrapped/striped combos to be the most effective. Wrapped/wrapped and sprinkle/striped create too much effect and move you to the next stage prematurely. You want to enter Stage 2 when there are around 14 steps left to correspond to the number on the step bombs. Stage 2: clear the last key at the bottom of the left column when step bombs and key descend. This will cause the fruit to descend on the right column. It helps to have saved a sprinkle on your board that will help knock out this final key quickly. Stage 3: use your remaining time to finish clearing the right column so the fruit can exit. Whew! There is a great feeling of satisfaction when this is solved! Good luck! JayJay

This level is far easier to pass on PC than on mobile. I played on mobile a number of times, but never got close to passing. As the advice says in the original post, don't be in a hurry to clear all of the keys. As a matter of fact, I would say don't worry about them at all. At some point, cascades will take care of them for you. If cascades clear the keys too early, you won't pass. Striped/wrapped combos are the best at clearing the creme blockers on the right. When you get down to one or two creme blockers, color bomb/striped combos don't work all that well as the game seems to set the stripes to miss the remaining blockers. On the last few moves, I got all three fruits down, and all that was remaining was a creme blocker that only needed one hit to clear. There were no matches to clear it, so I used a hammer to clear the blocker and release the fruits.

Anonymous said...

Why do they make some levels so hard the game is no longer even fun to play. What a turn off

Anonymous said...

For some reason there has been an issue with this and the past few levels. The buttons for the lollipop and hand are not always working. I have come close to finally getting off this level only to the buttons not work.

I have completed all three levels of treasure chest but am unable to claim my rewards WHy NOT please help me
