Candy Crush Saga level 882

Tips for level 882 Candy Crush Saga
Level 882 is a jelly level with a smaller than normal board, the board is only 7 x 7 square, which means getting high points is a bit more difficult than on a larger board.
The licorice also makes life a bit more difficult.
The main tips I can give for this level is to look for special candies and combos with every move as matches of 3 won't clear the cream blockers and jelly in the moves available.
Work near the bottom as much as possible but remember to check the whole board, small as it is, before every move.
Level 882 has been updated, there is now a popcorn in the middle instead of the cyclone, but the principles of passing are the same. Combos and more combos.

Where is everyone? Figured I'd get this eventually. Took about 15 tries. Finally got a great board. Only 2 stars but finished with 12 moves left. Lots of specials needed.

Can be done first try with a lucky board. I wouldn't bother with a lot of planning, as spinners can spoil things. So glad to be past that awful timed level. Luck to all. Good luck, that is.

After about 10 tries, I used a fish booster, and was able to finish with 2 stars. The corner spots are the hardest to clear so try to get to them whenever there is a moves that let's you break the cream blockers in those spots.

Dammit, like clockwork I can get down to about 2-4 jellies but just never quite enough moves. Even with a bunch of combos... Ill get it soon, just frustrating get so close almost every game....

JanC here. 1st try 3 stars no boosters. Gotta work bottom up to really damage the cream. Those corners are tough though as Jocelyn mentioned above. Ended up having to unfortunately use a hammer to finish off the bottom right corner. Good luck all!

Easy but may take some lives to get the board you need, regards AJ

I guess King didn't get the memo that these "Tornedos" trigger migraines!

JanC here! With my skill you wouldnt need a lucky board. Only skill, Eh?

Finally got it with 10 moves to spare, two stars, and the cyclone kept spinning til the end, so it's doable even if you're not able to give it a direct hit with a wrap explosion (as satisfying g as that is: hate those things!) JC

Fairly straightforward and the tornado doesn't seem to get too in the way. Not much to give in the way of tips other than concentrate on the bottom, especially the very bottom layer.

Agree straightforward just keep at the bottom jelly.

JanC here! Some rocket scientist you are to figure that out, Eh?

c/candycrush here.

Quite an easy board though it took me a few tries & I only got 2 stars. Just try to clear the bottom, make combos as others have said.

I found I could kill the tornado. I felt quite guilty actually when I wiped him out. I had a vertical striped candy and the tornado was a few rows under it when I set the stripe off. I was wondering if the stripe would affect the jellies beyond the tornado when kapow, the tornado was off the board, never to be seen again that round.

Took about twenty tries, 2 stars, no boosters. I was able to take out the tornado with a stripe and that helped with the strategy. Work from the bottom to the extent possible.

Very lucky - did it on my first try! Not sure how, but everything came together and I got 2 stars, no boosters used.

Not an easy one. Finally was down to one jelly and took it out with a free hammer. Thank goodness for those hammers!

It is a cute and nasty little bord. But I am glad I got past that 877. That was the heaviest for me!

I haven't gotten a tornado in this level. What's up with that?

Anonymous said...

No tornado on my board either, finding this a very hard level

I have toffee on my board and no tornado,I think the toffee is making this level harder as you have to hit it with 3 specials, the game I'm playing looks a lot harder than the vid you have on here

Finding this very hard, been playing it for a couple of days and not really getting anywhere!! It's all good and well saying we should focus on making special combos, but if they can't be made, what am I supposed to do?? Hoping to get some extra moves from friends - don't really understand why I'm always sending them but almost never receive any??

I have no tornadoes on my board, I guess King took it away. Bummer, I need all the help I can get. I get real close, but after 15 or so tries, I haven't cleared it yet. I am finding it hard to make enough combos at all, and sometimes have to wait while the board reshuffles because there are no moves at all....very frustrating. But, I'll get it eventually.
