Candy Crush Saga level 908

Tips and tricks for level 908 Candy Crush Saga
Level 908 is a jelly level with 40 moves to clear the jelly.
It is made more complicated by the blocking action of the four popcorns, which make the middle squares impossible to clear until the popcorns are removed.
Look for stripes, or even better wrapped candies, as these are more likely to hit the popcorns when switched.
Colour bombs are useful for improving you score as well as removing a colour so that other special candies are easier to make.

Played this one on my PC. Completed on the second try. Shouldn't be very hard if you made it this far. Good luck!

Haven't been so lucky yet. I keep getting left with the top and bottom popcorn blockers.

.....and 3 games later I got the lucky board. Only one star, but moving on......

JanC..You give the " Canadian Maritimes " a bad rap..You think your humor is funny & that true & sincere gameplayers take you serious. We don't & yes you have succeeded in irritating myself to having to write this & acknowledge your " phoney " existence. I would wager you don't even play the game anymore because in fact you actually stink hee hee & games are really not easy peasy & this Blog somehow gives you a cheap thrill..Stop the crap please Eh !!!!

Took about 10 tries, no boosters, 2 stars. I needed 2 sprinkle+stripes to finally pass.

Lol....well said Mr. Anonymous!

Got very lucky on my third try. Got 2 chocolate balls together twice...no idea how that happened! All my stripes went AWOL so I was pretty discouraged until I got those 2 lucky moves. Only one star and had to use a hand switch to get my last jelly. Happy to be passed though.

Having the same problem! Mt stripes don't get to hit the mark and I've somehow managed to explode my color balls once or twice while I was moving them into position ! Ugh! Got down to one popcorn but hoping for that lucky board! Any good strategy tips appreciated

Finally got my lucky board after many tries. Two sprinkles with stripes did it.

I think this one is very boring! I don't mind it being hard or waiting for the lucky board but at least make it fun and close! I can't even get 3 popcorn to open up!

Tell me about it. UGH

I've been waiting for a lucky board. The popcorn!

15 attempts - no cigar. Got down to one left twice. I think colour bomb stripe combo and a little luck is the only tactic for this level. AJ

Posting for luck. Not even close. Very boring. Glad someone told Jan C off. She's so annoying. Charlotte I am grown up but we don't need stupid comments like she makes.

Wow, this is a really frustrating level for me. Any tips? I make stripes every now and then, and the occasional chocolate bomb, but my stripes fall off the belt after a couple of cascades and I can't get enough to even clear the popcorn. Any ideas or tips from folks who have cleared this one?

Charlotte said...

Yay finally did it! I guess the objective to make it easier is to try and switch sprinkles together as this helps to unlock the other popcorn.

Finally but it took 4 bomb stripe combos and I still had the ones in the middle. Lucky I had two color bombs that survived from the popcorn and that helped plus a very lucky stripe just in the right spot. In the end I had 7 moves spare, cheers AJ

Nice job Aj, better lucky than good huh? Wtg

Fun but frustrating & challenging level..Strategy simple..Every move watch conveyor movement for making popcorn hits with horizontal or vertical stripes ; wraps & most important color bombs/stripe combos..Failed 5 times but finally board was kind. After 2 bomb/stripe combos & a couple vertical hits board all but cleared & simple matchs & cascades did rest with moves to spare...2 star..no boosters...Hard but fair & very doable with above focus & thought planning...No magic...Just make color bomb/stripes...You will get it.Thats a bet.

Beat it on second try on computer. Get to one if you can. Good luck

I do not find this level to be fun whatsoever. Having a really difficult time with the popcorn.

Has anyone heard from JanC. I guess she wasn't good enough to get past 907 eh! It seems kind of odd that both people that announce themselves as "JanC" here are so different! Maybe one is off her medications. Just saying!!!!!!

Until now, I haven't been stuck since level 879. Ugh! Patiently waiting on my special board.

Getting so sick of this level!! I don't even play as much as before, passed frustration and now not as fun!

c/candycrush here

I found this level reasonably hard. Took a day or so.
I had to slow down and look for chances to make special candies.

They slip around, explode etc so you can't plan too far in advance but I found I needed 2x colour ball/stripe matches and 1x colour ball/colour ball match plus several solo stripes before I broke the popcorn & even then I was left with one jelly ( I gave into temptation and used a lollipop hammer out of my stash)
Still only one star.

The 'suggested' moves the game gives on this one are not to be trusted. On some levels yes, not this one so much.

Good luck.

I found this level quite tedious. It was hard to make stripes & then get them to hit the popcorn.
After a couple of days on it, I was able to make a speckled choc. ball in the 1st move. Then I managed
to match it with a stripe. I was able to do this twice but still had 1 popcorn left. At this point, I had 2 speckled
choc. balls next to each other which took out the final popcorn. From there it was smooth sailing.
I'd say 85% was pure luck in finally passing this level. I'd tried boosters on prior games (stripe/wrap next to each other)
but they never helped. I had no boosters on the winning game. It was a matter of getting the speckled choc. ball and matching it with a stripe. Twice. I'm sure you can do this another way but that's what it took for me to pass.
I've got no good advise other than waiting for a board with a good start.
Good luck...you'll need it.

Tintin here....actually not too bad, I expected to be on this level for ages, but got it after 5 or 6 tries. The secret seems to be getting wrapped candies next to the popcorn and getting rid of them early. Good tips here, I always come here for tips before starting a level.

How can you say this level isn't HARD! Have been on it for several days and have tried to follow tips BUT it is one thing to say make stripes and wraps and it is another to actually make them. THEY ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN!! And when you do make them they are in the wrong place - that is the outside row and can't be moved. I guess I will just be patient as I have no choice. Will wait for my lucky board.

It took about 20 tries to get this level: one star, no boosters. The level is very tactical and takes a lot of sprinkles and stripes. You need to play efficiently as there aren't a lot of moves to accomplish the task. I used my sprinkles within a move or two of getting them. If there wasn't a close-by stripe, then use the sprinkle with a candy the color of the stripe. I hit the popcorn most of the time from the other side of the board using a stripe parked and waiting on a non moving part of the board. Don't worry about the jelly until you have set off all of the popcorn. There may be a little jelly cleanup at the end. Tough but fun game! Good luck, JayJay

I haven't been able to pass this level after about 30 tries on mobile and PC. There doesn't seem to be any advantage to playing on mobile or PC. There are always at least three popcorns left making passing impossible. Color bomb/striped combos are rare and always seem to miss popping any of the popcorns completely. This one takes an extra lucky board.

A stinker!!! I managed to get a number of striped-wrapped candy plus 3 x sprinkle stripe combos and still could not clear it. Another where blind luck in getting the right board will help choose whether you win or lose this level :(

Dirk said...

I finally passed after 30+ attempts. Several color bomb/striped combos and the right pieces falling into place did it with nine moves to spare. You just have to wait for a very lucky board, and it's going to be awhile.

This level is hard, but doable. I focusssed on removing the popcorns, making stripes and wraps when possible. Succeeded after 4 tries (on iPad). No boosters.

Been playing for a long time! Can not stet tho one. I have gotten all but one popcorn ball. Ready to quit. have had enough of Csandy Crush. Plenty of other games that are fun to play!
