Candy Crush Saga level 920

Hints and tips for level 920 Candy Crush Saga
Level 920 can be very easy, or very difficult, depending on luck.
It can be completed in 2 or 3 moves or it may take a lot longer if you don't get the start you need.
The easiest way to beat level 920 is to begin with a colour bomb booster from the wheel if you have one.
You get 2 moves before the chocolate starts to grow and cover the jelly, so if you can clear the jelly in those 2 moves you're done!
Once the chocolate starts to grow you will have to hit the jelly squares twice in quick succession to clear them.
Stripe/wrap combos are good following a stripe.

I used a fish and cleared it in 2 moves. Color bomb/stripe combo didn't hit the jelly even once.

914-25 moves 920-40 moves King is funny!!!

This level is hilarious! I think it is the first (out of 920) levels that I finished in 1 move! It is GUARANTEED to do it in one move if you have a fish booster and the paint brush charm! Just horizontal paint a candy next to the fish and swap! Instant 3 stars!

Anonymous said...

Got it in three moves no booster just a sprinkle and stripe in the right places. Only two stars.... no in the waiting zone. Great last level. Strategy... I love strategy levels.

Anonymous said...

Got it in one move with fish!

Anonymous said...

used lollipop hammer to finish this level.

Finally I finished all levels in 8 months since start August 2014. Wow how much time I wasted in reaching this milestone, but it is fun mostly except level 902 which is really a beast.

Anonymous said...

Had a fish. Used it. Zero regrets. 10/10 would do again

Anonymous said...

Ya with jelly fish one move is enough to complete this level with 3 stars...are you kidding kings?? This should be level no 10-15 not 920...

I got this level with no boosters (no fish, no paint brush and no colour bombs to start). I was able to make a vertical stripe over one of the jelly squares on the first move and detonate it on the second, clearing one jelly. Then I formed a colour bomb on the board, but did not use, but parked it. When I got a vertical stripe over the other jelly square and detonated it, I then used the colour bomb to clear the candy that fell in and the jelly. I was worried about not getting enough points, but all the fish I got in the last twenty-four or so moves gave me a three-star win.

Took the advice posted here and used a fish from the bonus wheel. Done on the first move! 3 stars! Too funny! Great last level for this section! Now we play the waiting game. Back to CC Soda.

Van5 said...

I have never heard of a paint brush? What is that? After coming all this way, how can I never have heard of it???

Norah said...

Thanks everyone for your comments and tips. Another episode finished.

Back to the waiting game. Play more cc soda and pyramid solitaire saga.

I tried this several times with no booster, didn't even come close. I used color bomb from daily spin, reset game until both candies were same color, and color bomb was adjacent to that same color and finished in 1 move. Good luck to everyone.

Cat said...

Done without booster, but reset until there was a possible color bomb. Played until there were two more and a stripe, and used one on the same stripe color, the others on what was then needed. Good luck.

I think the "paint brush" is the hand swap. I thought this level was hilarious, too, especially after some of the beasts in this episode. When I saw only 2 jellies that needed to be cleared I thought I was missing something. I think it's the fastest level I ever cleared. ;-)

I tried a few more boosters that I had won in this last episode but found most of them useless. I play on an Android device. When I tried using fish three times I only ever got one fish. Same with the coconut wheels. I even tried a sprinkle three times and a wrap/stripe twice but they were all set off before I could set them up.
I found that the only boosters that helped me were four lollipop hammers, one hand swipe, and five extra moves I bought (but only used two of those moves). Oh yes and thanks to your tips I did use an only fish on level 920 and got three stars.
I finished the whole 15 level episode in three days. So all levels are possible. Good luck everyone.

Norah said...

I'm also wondering what a paint brush is?

Van5 said...

Ok thanks anonymous 37. Does make sense that it could be the hand swap. If nobody has heard if paint brush, then that must be it!

Cat said...

Hi all.

Paintbrush. Don't know if it still exists, but I've read it lets you paint horizontal or vertical stripes on one candy once per game and costs $40.

Anonymous said...

Didn't use boosters, got some conveniently placed vertical stripes and a wrap. Finished with 4 moves left. Didn't have the minimum points, but it passed me with one star anyway!

Wtg oldtimer!

Anyone else only getting 3 lives now instead of 5?

Michelle said...

Chocolate ball & fish booster...which was a green fish... played some moves trying to line the ball with a green candy...2 squares filled with chocolate...Then the move I wanted...switched the ball against a green...magic.....cleared the chocolate ...game over. .. 3 stars....
Too easy for a final round....

Michelle said...

Btw...anyone really bored waiting for new levels. ..may have to find a new game...not worth the wait anymore

Jane said...

Thanks for the tip. Won jelly fish on daily spin this morning. Three trie, hit jelly fish, cleared both jellies covered with chocolate. Three stars!

Anonymous said...

Had no fish so thought I would be on this level forever, but got two lucky chocolate bombs in a row and cleared the two jellies in a jiffy. Just lucky I guess ;)

Cat said...

Arghhhhhhhh. Cant figure this level out!! And this paintbrush thingy? What the heck is it??

Anonymous said...

First try, thought I'd give it a go. Nope. Second try used my fish, voila, 1 move, three stars. How funny, thought there'd be a trick somewhere. Now for the waiting game...
Hey Cat, looks like your troll is back.
Best wishes to y'all!
Cathy

Anonymous said...

The paintbrush is no longer offered. You could paint stripes on a candy. It was gone before I started playing, but I saw it used in a video once. Did this first try in 3 moves with color bomb won from wheel as well as fish. Got 3 stars.

Cat said...

Hi Cathy. Yep. My troll's active, but at least not nasty.

The problem is when the advice is bad, because if anyone out there has found any post of mine helpful in the past I hate to mislead them.

Anonymous said...

Well, that's a first. Re-started the game until both colours in the centre were the same, added a chocolate sprinkle from the daily spin which fortunately landed beside the right colour......and that was it. One move, 3 stars. Very odd given the other games in this section.
Alex.

Cat said...

Thank you anonymous! Tried sane thing and after 5 resets it happened!

Reblet said...

Same as a lot of players here, I used a fish that I'd won on the daily roulette wheel and completed on my first move :)

onlylisa said...

Finally the fish is useful for something

Anonymous said...

JanC here!!!!! Cat, you give good advice????? Yet too see it, Eh????

Cat said...

I never count how many resets, but my troll is right in that I'm a firm believer in them. And I do try to give good tips.

Cat said...

Ahem...... ^^^^^Fyi my troll

Anonymous said...

Loved the tips & comments..Rather than try it straight on I had daily spin color bomb & some fish & it was late & I was tired & just wanted to end this episode of torture...Bomb & fish did the trick in couple moves & BINGO..3 star....Glad episode done & gonna take a breather...Its been challenging but fun ( most of the time ) LOL....Easy level with fish

Cat said...

To my 18:54 yesterday troll above-

I don't get it. What's in it for you?

Anonymous said...

Good advice better use a colour bomb than a fish. 914 reminded us how useful that booster is. I am saving up for the next horror jelly level. AJ

Anonymous said...

Could be two people named Cat, I know a few People called Cat.

Leslie W said...

I tried this without anything to see what went on, and got no where very slowly, so I thought I would try the color bomb and guess where that landed?!!! Yeah, right on the jelly and no way to save it :(

Next I tried the fish and got 1 and no way to utilize it.

Today, I tried with nothing again and saw how useless the board was and quit.

Tried the fish again and got 3 this time and was able to detonate before the chocolate took over. Like everyone said, it was fun to watch that counter rise up to 3 stars.

Cat said...

While there's more than one Cat in the world, because of timing, content, and specific references (particularly in the post I found genuinely amusing), I don't think that's the case here. It's the why of it that I'm missing.

Anonymous said...

While everyone is waiting could someone explain the candy jar and how to "collect" what you've earned? I asked King support but they've stopped answering personally. Now theybsend you to King Cares. There you can ask questions and get answers - none of which you can access because they won't tell you how! Forums like these are the blind leading the blind. I always liked that King actually answered and helped. How disappointing King.

That episode took some boosters from me, at least we have a couple of weeks to let them build. We are starting to countdown to 1000. I have wondered if they will stop it here. If they are still making money from the new episodes I assume they will continue. Regards AJ

Jane said...

Seems we all have em now Cat.

Cat said...

Guess so, Jane. Too bad.

Anonymous said...

Thanks everyone for the great tips! I used a fish on my first try after reading above and didn't have to rest because fish and candies over jelly were all green! First try - 3 stars! Never happened before !LOL
Fitting end I think to a wiled section! Thanks Cat for the rest tip earlier in this episode- it really helped!
CC

Cat said...

Your quite welcome!

Cat said...

I also would have said you're welcome, but I was beaten to it.

Leslie W said...

You ok??

Cat said...

Please everyone kindly ignore my troll. Seems JanC and now myself have strange followers. Disregard them please. Thanks!

Van5 said...

Yes you two certainly have strange followers. Dropped back here to see if anything new, but I see we're all still waiting. Im enjoying CC Soda for now.

Cat said...

Much as I wish everyone would ignore my troll, as requested by my troll's above post, I cannot ask that, as how would you know which posts are fake? While some are obvious, others are less so. You'd have to ignore them all.

Van5 said...

Yea, some people. Jeez. We can tell the original Cat apart from the fakes though..

Cat said...

Wish I thought we could always be told apart, but as some have responded to my troll's posts as if they were mine...

It's a shame some folks can't just be themselves. Even when it's not malicious, it's annoying and childish.

Van5 said...

Very well said!

I call it 3rd grade BS

I saw this game and thought oh $#%@ it would be difficult. Made a color bomb and used a stripe to clear the chocolate. Used the color bomb to take out one jelly and it made another color bomb and took out the second jelly. Took me more than one or two moves but got it on the first try with no boosters.

Anonymous said...

Many thanks for the fish booster tip. Was struggling with this one because its hard to knock out the jelly before the chocolate covers it again. Used a fish and did it on the first move! Yippee. An easy end (in the end!) to a horrible level.

Jane said...

Your quite welcome! Glad it worked out for ya!

Anonymous said...

What cop out to use the fish booster! I passed this level by strategy - I set up stripes above and below the jelly and set them off in succession. It can be done!

Cat said...

FrankC mentioned the fish booster is the way to go..... Hes a solid player..

Anonymous said...

Can anyone tell me what the candies marked with "c" are? they only appear in selected games which dance up and down. You seem to need to collect so many towards a specified total. Do you get free boosters or something for collecting them? Thanks, fellow gamers!

Cat said...

They earn you free boosters!!!!

Tony said...

Your more of an annoyance than your troll dude...

Deborah said...

This was very easy for me. Two chocolate bombs within a couple of moves. No boosters, 3 star. I finally got through 914 last night and this morning flew through 7 levels.

One good thing about 914 is that I was able to collect all sorts of free boosters. Here is a link explaining sugar drops: http://candy-crush-saga.wikia.com/wiki/Sugar_Drop_Feature

Cat said...

My troll above..... Smh

Anonymous said...

Well that was fun. I tried playing without a booster and failed. Next I played with a sprinkle booster. 2 greens were in the jelly, as was a green next to my sprinkle. I really thought I would clear the board of the jelly but not get enough points, but I combo'd the green with the sprinkle...BOOM! Candy Crush and scored 3 stars. Fun one for a change. One move!!!

Hunter MacLean said...

2 tries. No boosters.
I encourage you to try not to take the easy way out. Prove your skill in this level.
Best no booster tip is to park a couple colour bombs until the chocolate is clear and then zap it.

Anonymous said...

Finally got lucky. Shocker. 3 moves with no boosters & 3 stars. Matched vertical strip & wrap to clear green from center, then combo on right side to clear center with chocolate. Good luck. Laney

Unknown said...

Got it in one move with fish booster. Wish I'd read the hints sooner. When will I learn? Ha !!!

Bill. said...

Very lucky with two chocolate bombs at the start able to do one jelly at a time. Two moves.

Anonymous said...

Ha...used one fish...done!

Anonymous said...

My friends send me tickets but it won't let me move on!

Anonymous said...

Got it in first move using a fish booster.

Anonymous said...

Fish worked for me! Grace from DU

Anonymous said...

Use the fish! This is probably the only way to go! I wasted a lot of lives on this level, sometimes even clearing the 2 jellies but not getting enough points, until I gave up and read the helpful comments here. I hadn't thought to use the fish because with only the 2 jelly squares, I thought I wouldn't get enough points to clear the level. Instead, on the first move, I used my free bonus fish from the daily spin, and watched as all the rest of the moves racked up the points needed finally to get this level done. My first move from now on should be to come here!

Anonymous said...

So what I am reading is you have to buy boosters to clear this level? Not gonna happen. And did I read correctly it used to cost $40 for the paint brush booster? Folks, this is just a free facebook game. I can imagine some people are spending money they really shouldn't be on to buy stuff. SMH

Anonymous said...

JSN: It's not necessary to buy boosters - you can get them for free on the daily spin. And also get them for free by collecting sugar candies. I've gotten this far without spending any money. But we need a certain amount of players willing to buy boosters so that King will be able to continue supporting the game.

I had thought that using two lollypop hammers would end the game on the first move, but was concerned that I would not get enough points from the bonus fish. But after reading the above comments, I tried starting with one of my fish, and it worked as advertised. Three stars.
