Hints and tips for level 1180 Candy Crush Saga.
Level 1180 is practically impossible to pass without boosters and at the time of writing I have passed using hand and hammer boosters. Most of the videos on Youtube are made using a lot of boosters!
Here are a few tips from members of our Candy Crush Saga All Help group who have passed, that may help you if you are determined to get by it.
So how do you pass level 1180???
If you get as many of the stripe combos as you can first you won't explode the whole board and lose all the mystery candies. The licorice can actually be helpful as it will block the stripes and prevent them from doing too much damage.
Try not to switch 3 mystery candies together, if they all turn into stripes they will detonate and ruin the board. Match 2 mystery candies and a normal one and with luck you may get 2 stripes which you can switch together.
Before you switch any stripe combo look first to see where it will blast. Wait until there is licorice to block them from blowing up too many colour bombs if you can.
When you can't get any more stripe combos look at the colour bomb combos and choose one which doesn't have a lot of that colour on the board. Sometimes there are only 2 or three of the stripe colour and this will be a good combo to use as it shouldn't do too much damage to the board.

The video I have seen where people passed were 100% pure luck and still barely passed on the last move. I don't want to quit, but don't have an option at this point.
My best for this level is 2 strip/color ball remaining. Will keep trying, but without booster.

Brilliant level. Cracked it after using tons of switches and hammers but worth it.
I have never posted here but have dropped in occasionally for advice on tough levels. Maybe silly but I have made it my challenge to never pay a cent and never use a booster (except to see what they do). So here I am having been on this level for over a week and I just see no way through. I'm not experienced with boosters but don't see how they'd help that much anyway.
So I'm going to order a Kindle!
This level has just been nerffed on the computer version. I beat it without boosters on my third try. Get off your mobile and onto computer!
Just made it to this level today. Beat it first try.
Hated this level, but after coming here, I got two chocolate balls together (pure luck) and cleared the stupid board.

As for 1180, I didn't find it that difficult. I got a stripe and chocolate ball together, which cleared most of the board, and I passed it with 17 moves left. Took only three tries on my phone.
People are saying that King changed this level for phone's players. Kindle has old version and I was asking how to get NEW VERSION on kindle. Thanks.
Why do I suddenly have none of the bonuses I'd collected? Between that and this ridiculous level I've about had it.

Where has everyone gone? I see that it appears King has updated this level on some devices, but I m not even close to passing this after numerous attempts. I don't have a stash of boosters as I don't have time to play the sugar drops for hours to get them. I'm not complaining but just don't think you should have to use several hammers, switches and other boosters to pass this. Thus it may be the end for my CC journey. I will continue to spin daily wheel to get free booster but if nothing improves ... I may just free myself from this insanity. I don't plan on paying king any more money for extra moves when they make these levels insanely hard to pass. It's no longer fun. Good luck to all. Are the Candy Crush creators becoming sadists? It seems so... Levels like these are actually painful. Losing interest in playing altogether because all enjoyment in playing is just about gone.
I was ready to give up playing this level on my iPhone, but I decided to get on my iMac and try it. Lo and behold, it was a completely different board. I had to double check to make sure that it was, in fact, the same level. I won after five tries. I don't know if it's the same for a PC, but it's definitely worth a try to check! I don't understand why some levels are completely different between the two; they don't even bear a resemblance to each other.

I am now on level 1205, having passed this level when they changed it and made it easier. Looks like they have changed it back? Is that even possible? What are they thinking?

Ridiculous!!!!! This may be the level that makes me quite playing completely. Too bad. I have so enjoyed playing up to now.
Please tone the level of hardness down!
Not sure what's going on. Just got to this level today. Went to read the help comments and found that my board looks completely different than the video and the comments for it. My 1180 board was a "clear the jelly" and was nothing but bombs which I cleared in about 4 attempts. In the comments everyone was talking about combos, I just had bombs. Did they change the board COMPLETELY? I even had to check myself several times to make sure I was on the same level as the comments!!
It is impossible to pass this level 1180. I'm done with the frustration of trying (and failing) more than 50 times. Until it is fixed, Goodbye.
PLAY ON A COMPUTER!! NOT YOUR PHONE !! THE LEVEL IS PASSABLE ON A COMPUTER!! I just beat it on a computer on the 4th try. I had been playing it on my phone and tablet with no luck for a week. The level is much easier on a computer and even looks different.

For all those recommending playing on a computer I assume that you cannot do that unless you are on Facebook.

At the moment I am just playing the sugar track on both my android and ipad and racking up some boosters for the future.
I notice that many reviews of the game have been saying that updates sometimes wipe out all your boosters. If that happens I will take it as my cue to quit for good.

Absolutely gutted! Fed up with having the old version of this level on my phone I tried reinstalling the game to get the revised version (I'm sure I've had to this before and it worked ok). Unfortunately it deleted all my data and now I'm back to square 1. Poo! 1179 levels lost together with all the extras I had earned. So if anyone gets a request from Betty asking for help to unlock the levels, please take pity on me!!

Guys its a completely different level on pc. Its a Jelly level as opposite of Order Level. I think cc have changed it there. Try your luck there.
Well, I have been doing cc for a year and a half now and have enjoyed it up till now. Have been on 1180 for 2 weeks and ready to quit now. I have probably spent close to 1 hundred bucks and not spending another penny. 1180 is not worth the time, effort or money. Good luck to all who have made it this far and hope that you are successful in passing and maybe win a t-shirt at some point. Time to delete cc and get on with life.

JUST PASSED THIS!!!!! I normally play on iPad or iPhone and was about to give up on this so I thought I would give the computer a go. I was shocked today to find that the impossible level had been replaced by a simple one that I passed easily, first go! I couldn't believe it so went back onto my iPad to see my avatar move onto 1181?!?! I tapped on 1180 to find that the impossible level is stii there??
I have no idea why this glitch appeared but it got me through by playing on the PC! Good luck everyone!!

Found it easier on Pc to clear the bombs then straightforward.
I can't believe this but I got it first try,,, I used 3 hammers. 2 to kill two bombs n third to pass, I . Unbelievable
2nd try - don't ask me how! - suddenly all I needed were two hand switches and luckily I had them. Still not paid a penny to King

Well I've got to 1180 and its not the level u guys said so presumably candy crush have changed it! Passed in 1 minute. Lucky me by the sounds of it.

By some absolute fluke I actually passed this level first time with one hammer. Its the first level I've ever passed straight off.
I don't know if I played the old or a new board as there are still comments on the difficult people are having.Played a couple on android yesterday got close but decided to go sugar cube hunting.
Got on the PC today and won first try. Opened up the middle and bombs and jellies loaded a nice pyramid with a couple of wraps. Opened up the left side to bring more bombs and jells down. Matched wraps with stripes 2 times and board wide open. Had 7 jells and 7 moves left worked the moves down to 1 jell left. Hammer Time.
I check the board before almost every game for the good hints and tips. It seems at times the negativity outweigh the tips and it would take longer to read a majority of these comments than winning the level.
I have passed this level only second try.I didn't get it as a hard level.
