Candy Crush Saga Level 1190

Hints and tips for level 1190 Candy Crush Saga
Don't waste moves switching the bombs, you won't be able to clear them all by switching and it just gives you less moves to destroy the cake, which will clear the bombs completely.
Right from the start you need to work on clearing the cake, you only have 12 moves before they count down so make every move count.
Stripe/wrap combos are best for clearing the cake if you can make them, otherwise use stripes, which are easier to make.
The cake will take off the bombs and one layer of jelly, leaving you with the remainder of the jelly with the new bombs.
Colour bombs will be useful once the cake is gone and you have more space to work.

On my iPad, where this level just appeared this morning, I checked a chocolate ball and striped wrapped thinking I would reset until I got the stripe next to the ball, but first try ball was right next to a stripe. Matched them and that took out all but on slice of the cake and left a match right next to the remaining slice. Cake exploded and took out all the jelly. Game over. JS

Started with a colour bomb from my collection of 80 and got a stripe beside it first move. However every stripe in the bombs went horizontally! Not a single vertical one. When all quieted I was left with a vertical stripe amongst the bombs so I hit that and that cleared them back to 12 count. Next move cleared the cake and it was game over! Good luck everyone!

Wow, not sure how I managed this!! Board started with a chance to make a sprinkle, wrap and a stripe. Made all three and they fell exactly where I needed them and didn't cancel each other out. 2 more moves and done! Good luck, off to earn some boosters

Wish I was so lucky ... now to wait for more lives to regenerate ...

Passed second try. Don't even focus on bombs.

Why wait for lives?
You should get plenty of lives from friends or request lives from friends.
I play mobile and can reset to get all the lives I need....hope that helps.

Not too hard. Second try on this one. Focus on getting the cake within the first 12 moves to avoid detonating the bombs. It's pretty easy after that.

Not so lucky

Eventually the tactic worked, but I had to use a switch hand to get the combo. Not really difficult. My strategy was, as usual, to reset the board to get a sprinkle.

This level is not easy and I still had 3 bombs left when I destroyed the cake. Also freezes, which has been happening quite a bit with these 1100 levels. Playing on an android phone.

Lucky chocolate bomb plus striped candy early which cleared the cake and bombs. Second attempt.

Hi all.

Easy one here. 3rd try no boosters.

Focus on making choc bombs and your set.

Good luck all.

ARRRGH! Okay, I used about 50 lives on this level before I was FINALLY able to use a lollipop to get one sprinkle ball next to another and finish things.

I find that it often takes a lot more lives to get through one of these 'easy' levels than most of the ones King has labeled hard for me!

Just get rid of the cake asap, then do what you can do get rid of the rest of the jelly. May the force be with you.

Dear CC, Great video, lots of combos seem to fall, can I please have one of these special boards, not the crappy ones you have given me so far. Thank you.

And yet another 10 attempts with nothing to show for it. I cannot get any combos made to break the cake in the first place so am basically screwed right from the start. Well done CC on making another boring nasty level that involves almost total luck in even getting started let alone passing this level. The worst thing is it is all over & done in 10 moves if you cannot break the cake. A waste of time!!!

This level was a nice break after all the hard ones. Clearing the cake was easy, and after that it was a simple matter to clear the remaining jellies. Second try, no boosters. Certainly not skill on my part - just combos that worked!

The comments above make you feel like you are going to rush through this board, but as usual, it is all about the lucky board. It wasn't until I got the chocolate ball/stripe combo and then cleared the pizza, that I won, and yes, at that point it seems like an easy level. It's certainly easier than 1189 which I was on for 2 weeks and used about 400 lives. Hang in there. The lucky board will probably come sooner than later. It took me about 30 tries.

Hi, thx for the blog, seems every time I look, I go back to the level I'm on and get it next try or two.
Question, why does the leader board on each level only have 9 players and I'm always in that list?

I log out of fb, go to settings, clear data. Lives reset, but I lose all boosters.

Just change time to one day ahead, but don't forget to change it back.

I can't understand why so many think this 1190 is Easy. I have been at it for 3 days, and have only cleared the cake about 3 times, with nothing else good or helpful happening afterwards. Many times, I can't even make a striped candy.. let alone a sprinkle bomb along with a stripe! This is harder than many other HARD Levels, if you ask me. About to give up on the game...
