Candy Crush Saga Level 1224

Hints and tips for level 1224 Candy Crush Saga
Work your way down the board using stripes, wraps or any other special candy. Once you have space to work you should be able to make some good combos, even colour bombs.
Try to switch colour bombs with stripes, which will clear more chocolate and jelly.

Can't believe there are no comments here!! Finding it difficult to get many specials at all so the chocolate spreads like mad. When I do get rid of it all the squares in the top corners of the bottom are impossible to reach without the right stripe/parcel. Have to wait for my "lucky" board I suppose. I am getting tired of these tedious boards which just seem to be to hold us up. The sense of dread when starting to play each time is killing the game for me. Not much longer for CC I think.

Anonymous said...

Sue, I agree, thought there would be many more comments on this level. Far too much chocolate with very few stripes to clear it. Too many moves are the only moves available.
Very tedious waiting for lucky board!!!

Anonymous said...

Agreed. Difficult to make any specials and impossible to make combos. Chocolate is way to quick to take over.

I've been on this level for 2 weeks now, gets tiring do the same thing over and over. boooooring. and can get square candies and some stripes, can't get sprinkle tho and no C candies to get to maybe get some help. about to quit CC, whoever makes the levels now either hate the game or us, took all the fun out of it

Unknown said...

Yep, realy f.a.g. level...

Pain said...

Sue, that's spot on!

Unknown said...

Worst level ever, shame on this board.

Anonymous said...

I must have been really lucky got it on my second go by using a fish which went to the hard to reach squares and just needed one stripe lined up to finish it off.

Unknown said...

Another thumbs down. I agree with all of you. Too often I make 10-15 moves and its obvious I'm not going to complete the level, so I just end. The chocolate is too aggressive.

Anonymous said...

Pure luck level. Once the chocolate is cleared, which happens once every ten tries or so, getting those tricky squares in the upper corners of the bottom part is tricky because no candy sits on them. You need a wrapped/stripe combo to get that. Fortunately, I got my lucky board and had a horizontal-firing stripe sitting one level up from the bottom, which took out the first level of jelly, and a wrapped/striped combo took out the second. Early in the try, go for vertical-firing stripes to get at the chocolate. However, good moves are rare in this game and so the chocolate gets out of control quickly. Half the tries will have you hitting the "quit" button well before the moves run out.

Anonymous said...

This level sucks -- I'm tired of them making lucky levels, what's the point of playing this long to depend on playing 100's of times for that lucky time? I think they are trying to get people to quit but don't want to end the game themselves.

Unknown said...

enough for me...

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the tip. Used a fish and got it on the first try.

Comments scared me a bit when I got to this level yesterday but I am happy to report I passed without any boosters today (after probably a total of 20 games). This one took careful concentration as I got down to only one jelly twice before passing. I do recommend saving lollipop hammers & switches - I had none. Vertical stripes, if you can make them, are good to get those annoying upper corner jellies at the bottom of the board. Don't give up on this one - it pales in comparison to the dreaded 1180 before CC revised it. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

Had everything cleared except the upper corners on the bottom. Tried to use a hammer twice and it did nothing but take my hammer but did not clear the jelly. Not fun

Anonymous said...

Read the comments and was rather intimidated by this level before I even attempted it. Tried it 4 times....the first time with a fish and then the next 2 without and then the last time a fish. Works like a charm. I did have a lot of combinations which took out a lot of the hard to reach jelly.

Anonymous said...

Just a note: hammers and switches won't work on jelly without a candy occupying the square.

Anonymous said...

I wasn't getting anywhere, so I used a fish booster. Still not getting anywhere, but then I got a lucky board with some specials I could use. Might not have needed the fish, but glad to be moving on.

Anonymous said...

Used a fish and a sprinkle got several of both. Another joyless level that's pretty impossible without those saved boosters. Glad to have the free ones as I've never spent a dime on this game and never will

Anonymous said...

Tell me about it..stupidly wasted 4 hammers...not happy. .one jelly left and no cigar

Anonymous said...

Use fish!! Thanks for the tip!!
Played this level several times, but came nowhere....
Used a fish and got it on the first try!!

Van5 said...

I also wasted 2 hammers trying to clear jelly with no candy in it! Lesson learned. Finally got a lucky board where I cleared the chocolate with 22 moves left. Used 4 hand switches to move a stripe/ wrap combo to the bottom row, and that cleared everything. Keep plugging away. It WILL come! Took about 20 tries. Good luck everyone!

Anonymous said...

Used a fish booster & wrap/ stripe combo booster & kept resetting until wrap & stripe were together in the center. Then the board was cooperative & created other good combos. Took many tries. NC

Anonymous said...

Good tip. Kept resetting till the wrap and stripe were together at the center to clear the chocolate at the center columns. Then made horizontal stripes and drop them to the bottom to clear the chocolates at the bottom two rows. The rest was plain sailing.

Anonymous said...

What a horrible level this is. Did it on pure luck and nothing else. No straegy except for check for possibilities on every move.

Anonymous said...

No longer enjoying this game. I'm done.

Annonymous said...

Agreed. These boards are making me play less and less. Don't care anymore.

Jennifer said...

Played multiple times on my phone and the computer with no luck. Tried with fish and beat it first try. Thanks for the tip!

Anonymous said...

This one should be rated as Insanely Hard not just Very Hard on Wiki. The chocolate is relentless and you need wrapped striped combos numerous times at the bottom to get the icings where candies don't settle. That reminds me a little of 747 where you have the same problem because of chocolate blocking the path of falling candies. In this case it's a spawner which can't be removed.

Anonymous said...

Used a fish, then 3 hammers on my third try. I didn't want to stick around this hell.

dirty vegas said...

I'm on my second week of trying this level ,ive played numerous times and used up every booster I had . Ive managed to get down to two jellys with 26 moves left on the board a chocolate sprinkle and stripe I thought this time I would do it ,but no, this is relentless and pointless .After having been stuck for two weeks on the previous episode CC is fast becoming a pain in the neck , slowly but surely im playing less and less and like many other long time players im thinking of giving up ,the game no longer is fun ,so I ask myself why do I play ,its not as if there is a cash reward or anything ,the game is becoming stupid and boring and is the reason so many players are giving it up ,who can blame them .

Brian said...

Boosters are not helping as usual. Tried fish but only got one at the start and they went straight for chocolate and didn't take any jelly. Tried stripe/wrap and reset for each but there's not enough candy at the start to make it effective.

Anonymous said...

DISGUSTED. Not one more penny, not one more booster wasted on this HORRIBLE LEVEL!

Anonymous said...

Attention King: Change or Eliminate this atrocious game!!!

Anonymous said...

Wasted last chocolate and fish boosters to no avail. Now I'm stuck here waiting for that lucky board. UGH!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Sue called it! Not many opportunities to make specials in very beginning and chocolate grows like crazy! Going to try with recommended boosters

CC from vero😎

I can't believe that I'm still stuck on this level ..come tomorrow I will have been stuck for two weeks ,during the two weeks i've tried every booster available but it hasn't brought me any luck , i keep coming here in the hope that someone has posted some useful tips .I can't offer any advice on how to pass this level if I could I wouldn't be stuck here . what was once a great game has now become tedious and boring .CC keep producing levels like this and soon all the long term players will leave ,I have hardly any friends left that I can call upon to ask for lives ,I'm going to use up my remaining lives then give it a break because it really is no fun anymore ,sad really

I have deleted this game from my facebook and my tablet. This level is FINALLY the one that has made me quit this game for good. I am tired of all these ridiculous levels and they have gone too far with this one. BYE BYE Candy crush Saga. You ran off another loyal player. GOOD JOB!! ( sarcasm).

dirty vegas said...

Now in my third week and still bamboozled ,even with a good board which consisted of 3 sprinkles extra moves and a fish a lollypop hammer ,i only managed to get down to 5 candys ,beginning to think this is personnel CC ? maybe its because I don't buy boosters but one things for sure its not for the want of trying , .I took a break for a few days hoping it would change but came back her only to see even more players quitting ,my last few games have been terrible too many reshuffles ,not enough chances to make the boosters we require and the chocolate spreading like wild fire .

dirty vegas said...

Tried to post a comment earlier but was unable ? anyway what I said was ... this level is like trying to unlock a safe without knowing the code ,so we go round in a never ending loop trying every combination known ,taking risks thinking it will be the risk needed to clear the board but it never is , surely I can't be that bad a player ?

Bling59 said...

If you have boosters to use. Use one of each that is available on this level. Otherwise you could be here for days. Completed first time using this method. I tend to play old levels just to collect boosters without trying to Win the level. They come in handy with levels like this one.

Unknown said...

How do you know if you have the lucky board ?

Anonymous said...

It's my 3rd day on this level. I just got very lucky with 2 sprinkle bombs side-by-side which wiped out all the chocolate with 37 moves left, so of course I was 100% convinced I would clear the board. Nope. With 7 moves left I switched 2 pieces to clear the first layer of the remaining 2 jellies. They were the 2nd row up, far outer corners. I had no chocolate and no licorice, just candies, on the board, but those 2 squares would not fill in with candy - they were just jelly. I could not wipe them out with my remaining moves (didn't want to buy bonus lives, had no helpful boosters). Why would they not fill in with candy if there were no obstructions (chocolate, licorice) blocking above?

Anonymous said...

This level is truly BORING. No moves to make and lots of shuffling of candies. The sign of a poor design. Oh well, this too shall pass.... eventually!

Pete said...

I like this all help Blogger. Very helpful. But I get a kick out of the repetitive comments. "This is it for me with CC". "Somebody should talk to the King programmers". "I don't see the problem, I did it first time with moves to spare!" "I'll just wait for a lucky board".

Not criticizing, I just get a kick out of it. In fact many times the comments provide me with a solution or strategy that works! So keep it up, everyone!

Almost finished it on my 8th try. Too bad I'm completely out of boosters. Could have finished it with one hammer.

EVERYBODY, join me in song:

Oh, what a very nasty level. I had played so many times and got swamped by that awful chocolate that I got fed up and threw all three boosters in. It worked!!!! YAYYYY!!!! Keep collecting those boosters - they seem to be more and more essential in these very challenging levels, which are to be expected in the 1200's.

Anonymous said...

This level is not beatable without boosters. Which I am out of. Been playing a lot since have son in major surgery, etc., so time in waiting room. Level just sucks. I would love to find some alternate games - anyone???

linda b said...

passed first time yeah, then came n checked how to pass it lol must have been a lucky board

Anonymous said...

I guess we're all different, have used every booster many times but getting nowhere fast, not prepared to sacrifice any more. For the first time ever reluctant to play, it's plain boring, giving it 7 days then on to pastures new . Molly.

Anonymous said...

Guess I'll go back a few levels and try to earn some sugar drops....need some more boosters, obviously. It's too bad that the phone version awards sugar drops on this level but my pc doesn't......

Anonymous said...

Got it today, first try, no boosters, Yay! Molly.

I get so frustrated with these difficult levels stuck for two weeks. Why can't I just stop playing this game

Anonymous said...

Love how King makes us use boosters we collect and not buy! Start playing fair King!!

Anonymous said...

This is the most difficult game since I started playing. I am going crazy.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous 6 Nov made me laugh out load. Love coming to this site. Thanks for the fish booster hint, will try it out

Anonymous said...

From the comments I could see how painful this level would be. After playing it about 10 times I saw no fun in it either. So when I was almost there and had 1 move left I used up my 5 hammers to get through. That or do ground hog day again I gathered. Now back to earning boosters as I have no switch hands left (went with 1223) and no hammers (went with 1224). Have still never paid for any boosters. Grace from DU

Bill. said...

Agree not very interesting took a lot of attempts. No real plan just keep at the combinations. Bottom jelly very difficult.

barb W said...

I'm at a loss with this one! I've been at it for nearly TWO WEEKS. I've had 'generous' boards with combinations, etc. still to no avail. Make a move, and here comes the chocolate. Chocolate balls matched with a stripe or a wrap do some damage, but then....here comes the chocolate, again! Obviously, all of us here have come a long way through some difficult levels, but this one is a joke. I have no hammers, hands, nuffin left. NO! I will not purchase boosters. So, unless this happens soon, I guess I'll be giving up on CC.

Anonymous said...

Hang in there! Got a lucky board in less than 24 hours--3 stars, no boosters!

Anonymous said...

c/candycrush here.
I found it really hard, it took me about a week. In a few games, I tried ticking every booster available at the start, but I found it didn't pay off for me. I only ever got one fish or whatever and it usually ended up getting used at the start of the game rather than at the end where needed.

Mind you, it isn't a bad level to be stuck on, you really feel as if you're playing. It is a level where it will work to use boosters at the end, if you want to move on.

My advice to those stumped, like me.
Wait till you get a board where all the choc clears. Hard, I know.

When you get it, look to see if you can make a horizontal stripe anywhere. Make sure you still have a few turns left.
Then use the red hand to move the stripe down to second bottom line, to clear those 2 corner jellies. You'll know the ones I mean. If you happen to have a colour ball, move it next to the stripe. If not, you may need to make & move 2 horizontal stripes separately.
Then clear the remaining jellies with a hammer.

But you MUST clear those empty jellies first.

I used several hands and a couple of hammers. If you don't have a stash, go back to past levels with the bouncy candy & earn a few so you get some freebies.

Really tedious level. Been stuck on it for weeks now. These tedious levels are happening more and more. I think the makers are running out of ideas. Bored with so many levels that require no tactics, just waiting around for a lucky board. I think my CC days are coming to an end because of this.

firesam said...

hardest level so far!!! down to last jelly the one just under the thing that looks like a globe with a red lid on middle of right hand side took six hits to get rid of it (six hammers) good luck you will need it.

Anonymous said...

As with nearly all 6 color levels - bad news because you need so much luck to get ANY kind of combos with so few moves and so many colors! King just want s to suck out your boosters - don't do it!

Anonymous said...

This level simply blows. Don't bother wasting a fish booster as it doesn't give you any near the end when you need it - just the useless one at the beginning.

Anonymous said...

Been trying 15 to 20 times a day for over a week and nothing. I used 4 boosters at once and the chocolate covered my bomb and fish.
this is ridiculous!

Anonymous said...

Horrid level!

Anonymous said...

😫oh my gosh who is designing all of these levels from hell???!!

Anonymous said...

Been at this level for nearly 2 weeks and played it probably well over 100 times with no success I used up all my boosters also. I am, just about the end of my rope with candy crush . Tired have playing and being bored with games that pop up every 5 or 6 levels King you need t. lighten up a little on some of these levels or you will lose a lot of players . Will give a try a few more times and if I have no result good bye.

Anonymous said...

This level makes me want to throw a brick through the screen 😡

Mary said...

Beyond boring level. Most times there is only one move and it is nowhere near where it would help....the chocolate is everywhere and no specials to be had.

Anonymous said...

I'VE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THIS GAME IS NO LONGER WORTH PLAYING. It makes no sense now. Just like an athlete in retirement. When the game is no longer fun, it's time to move on.

Unknown said...

I have wasted two of my precious wraps/stripes and can't afford to waste any more and still not pass Sadly I don't see any other way though for the chocolate is merciless and covers all good moves humph!!! Playing for sugar drops now!

Barbc said...

Thanks, King, for putting the booster treasure chests AFTER this level. Could sure use some boosters, being that everyone says yhis level can't be beat without using several of them. I hate these kind of levels, so tedious. I'll give this level another week, waiting for that lucky board. Haha giving me 42 hours to get to the treasure chests...I'm down to 19 hours left and no hope of reaching them, as I have only one measly hand-switch to use, and that ain't gonna do it. Could be bye bye for me on candy crush. bummer after all this time. 😟

Anonymous said...

Two times down to three jellies, but with no hand-switches or lollipop hammers, and, the treasure chests sitting there after this level, and, needing 60 special candies to get to the next booster dispenser, I can just about forget about ever passing this level. So boring and tediuos. Yuck.

Anonymous said...

used 3 boosters going in and 3 hammers to get out…ugh

Anonymous said...

Come on cc at least give me a board that if I don't win then it's MY fault.

Anonymous said...

Why am I not even coming close to passing this level? I think this is the worst yet.

luckylau said...

this level is very hard and bring! the chocolate spreads like fire and to get the jelly in the bottom corners is ridiculous...guess its a lucky board thing, but how long do you need to play before that board comes?

Anonymous said...

They control EVERY single move you make down to the point that they allow you to clear all but a couple chocolates and then miraculously all of your PERMITTED moves are at the top of the board. The illusion of success to get you to spend money! Pretty damn sad!

Anonymous said...

One would think that by this point in the game CC would know that we are wise to their moves and that buying their boosters of any kind simply does not help. It does get terribly boring though repeating the same board, loosing lives and waiting....waiting...

Anonymous said...

Payer pour gagner, encore une fois. Aucun plaisir à jouer ce niveau de merde.

Anonymous said...

Got bored with CC and stopped playing for almost a year. Got a new tablet and had another go. Then comes this level, nothing has changed, so boring and frustrating. Not fun, not relaxing, not even challenging - it's all about waiting for the "lucky board". Sorry to say I've bought a few boosters along the way - waste of money. Bye bye from me CC, a shame really because it was a lot of fun there for a while.

Anonymous said...

Bye bye cc. Levels not fun anymore. Have to go for days without result until lucky board

HATE THIS LEVEL
Now I’m Getting so bored with this game teasing you & giving you great moves when you’re about to run out

Been stuck on this damn level forever , despite getting amazing combos which should have smashed it.

It’s getting absolutely ridiculous !!

Alessandra said...

Yes I have noticed that exact same thing - what a joke this game is becoming!

Anonymous said...

What insanity? Last week getting irriated about this round, I used my phone to play instead of the iPad. There at the start there is a message that says there's some sort of party on and I get this free kick start which cleared ALL the chocolate. Wham bam, didnt do a thing. So I am like whizzing along and nothing could be simpler at 20 turns to go I only have ONE jel left and I am like wahoooooo beside myself.

My excitement turns to pure frustration as (I had not topped up any boosts) for some very strange 👻 reason I could not connect to the Store to get some lollies?? The wheel just kept spinning for over 5 mins.... so what is a person to do other than just flunk out? tell me it is NOT fixed. Never seen a 'party treat' ever so I presume it was all nonsense to make me think I was goong to win the round.

This has put me off again as I gave up playing this game a whole year ago because of a daft round like this. Cheerrs.

Anonymous said...

I'll join most of the players on this one--not happy with this level--it sux big time! I should just permanently quit! Such foolishness!!!

Anonymous said...

Been stuck for a month! This level is stressing me!! Spinning my wheels! Going no-where! I've pleaded and begged for HELP!~! I need to quit for GOOD--cos this level is very very BAD!

Anonymous said...

This level is hard enough, they also CHEAT. The fkin chocolate somehow doesn't vanish when I directed combos on it i.e. immune chocolate. Stupid level that forces players to keep trying and trying for months until CC's AI lets you. One-move boards 95% of the time, because CC's AI are in full control over the candy pieces' arrangements. I give you one week and then it's Bey Bey for me (this game isn't deserved to be said goodbye, only bye bye).

Anonymous said...

Seriously, this game stinks because of your use of AI which is to rig the game. It's not fair, it's rigged and therefore it's not a game. A game must be winnable using strategy, and Candy Crush isn't. In fact, Candy Crush has nothing to do with strategy or luck, it's all in the AI. You win if and only if the AI lets you.

Anonymous said...

You cannot tell me that the candy arrangements is random. No way!! Every time the game starts there's only one move that does nothing. Even after shuffling there's always only one move. What's the odds of that? Billions, trillions to one?? At least if it's random, we have a fighting chance, but this game shows no signs of that. King should fix this, or it's bye bye. Say Hi or it's bye bye.

Anonymous said...

Candy Crush tricks us to believe that the candy spawnings are random with the first few levels, like any other match-3 games out there. But the further you go, these candy spawnings are becoming more rigged and losing randomness. I mean, how many times you just need one or two more moves to clear that last jelly or the last ingredient when you run out of moves. This is a ploy to make you pay for moves or boosters. Candy Crush shows the illusion of success, and with its first few levels, the illusion of randomness. People have known over the years that this game is NOT random like what they thought at first. This whole game is a joke and full of fraud.
