Candy Crush Saga Level 1252

How to pass level 1252 Candy Crush Saga
Level 1252 is classed as a hard level by King, due to the licorice blocking your moves.
The secret is to clear as much licorice as possible with every move and as the licorice clears work as close to the bottom as you can, still clearing licorice.
Wrapped candies are most effective for clearing licorice and colour bombs least effective as they will only clear candies and will not effect the licorice at all.
Combos can be dangerous too, as they may release more licorice, but you need some to clear the jelly as you won't do it by matching threes.

Another board where you need to get lucky. There is little scope for strategy until you can manage to clear a lot of the licorice................

Anonymous said...

Really boring level - clearly no hope of passing until you get that elusive lucky board.

A hard board is one thing but this is just boring. King need to remove a colour to make it a bit easier to make combo's. I've been stuck here for aweek now and haven't got close, time to take a break.

In my opinion this board is set up deliberately to make you fail and / or purchase boosters. It's not hard to play, it's just very tedious and very boring. To start with the board only gives you one pointless move after another or it's reshuffling and by the time you get the board opened up to a point where you can create your own moves you run out of them. Credit those of us that have come this far with a little more intelligence please King!

Anonymous said...

Really unintelligent and strategy-less game. Need to clear the sides to get through.

Day 5 on this boring level..no where close yet. Has anyone tried the fish booster?

Anonymous said...

I tried a fish booster as I got one on my free spin this morning. Made no difference what so ever. I was forced to use it on the very first move, as there were no there no other moves to choose from and no further fish appeared throughout the entire game. A complete waste of time.

Thresa Muglich said...

Day 6 ~ I agree with the above statement. I selected all 3 available boosters at the beginning of the game. Had to use all 3 within the 1st couple of moves making very little progress and as you said there was only 1 fish given. Tried this 2 times with the same results. I was lucky enough to get 2 sprinkle bombs next to each other and bumped them together ~ I thought for sure that I would finally pass this level but there were still some left when I ran out of moves.......GRRRRR

Anonymous said...

The fish booster worked. One star, but glad I'm done with this shuffling level

Anonymous said...

HaHa on me! For keeping playing this nonsense. The last two weeks have been work, not fun and totally a bore waiting for lucky boards. Two other people at work have quit you and I'm joining them. Total nonsense. It used to be fun and I was anxious to play. Some strategy involved and some were just fun with lots of action. Seems like success has changed King. So, again, I'm thru with you BS. Wish I could say it was fun but the last couple weeks have taken all that from me.

Joan Hazlewood said...

Agree with all of the above. The end is nigh for me and Candy Crush. Levels like this suck the joy out of playing. Hope someone from King reads this blog and takes heed. Gonna lose all your game players because of these increasingly tedious levels.

Rossi said...

Just managed it after ten tries - used a fish and wrapped/striped combo yay!

Anonymous said...

Oh, stop whining, you miserable moaners. This is a straightforward level with no nasties in it - no bombs, no regenerating chocolate. And King has given us the means to get loads of free boosters with games like Sugar Drops. If you don't like it, just piss off.

Anonymous said...

What a very difficult level......grrrrrr !!!

Anonymous said...

I have played this level a hundred times and i never came close....
Tips for this level?? This is no fun at all !! Boring!

Anonymous said...

Got down to one double jelly on my third try and I wish I had used a booster. A few tries laterI got down to three jellies once and four jellies once. Then when I got close again I gave in and used one lollipop hammer and glad to be finished. Took sixteen tries. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

This level is actually not that hard. Start working at the top and all the way down. Keep your eyes open to make wrap and stripe combo. Keep a few free hand wrap and hammers just in case you need it at the end. Fun level, plus a little patience.

Van5 said...

Actually got this on the first try. Read the comments and made lots of wraps. Carefully worked my way from left to right clearing the licorice. Managed one chocolate bomb/ stripe combo which didn't bring on lots of licorice. When I was down to 2 moves, I used some of my hand switches, and then 2 hammers on the last 2 jellies. After reading the comments, I didn't want to spend anymore time on this one than I had to! Thank Heavens for sugar drop boosters! Don't know if I could have done this one on my own without boosters! Good luck everyone!

Anonymous said...

Wow lucky board I guess... 1 hand switch midway thru game, everything else fell into place finished on last move

Anonymous said...

Use a fish booster it works

Anonymous said...

I used all my fish boosters, but unfortunately no luck for me, with all the useless moves....
So this is the end for me, this level is impossible for me, I quit.
Good luck to you!!

Anonymous said...

high five. it's just a game people!

Anonymous said...

I am so annoyed with these levels. Why must they have so many difficult levels one after another?

Just waiting for my lucky board, as usual.

Anonymous said...

Glitchy. Keeps reshuffling (don't we all hate levels where you can only move once before a reshuffle- makes strategy pointless) but then occasionally says 'no moves available' and I lose the life even though I can see clear matches available.

Anonymous said...

I've been playing this level for 4 days and over 40 times. I've come close only one time and used the last of my boosters on this one.

I am so incredibly frustrated.

Annonymous said...

Again, I don't know how I'm suddenly so lucky but breezed through this one too! Just teied to make every move take out a licorice. Hope my luck keeps up because I haven't been the lucky one before!

Brian said...

Licorice is a real action killer. Makes it really dull. Losing interest finally. Too much licorice killed my interest in CC Soda fairly early on in that game and just stopped playing. Its the Antabuse of candy crush.

Anonymous said...

BORING!

Brian said...

So I got a free color bomb on every level for the Halloween special. I added a color bomb booster and they were next to each other so switched them and all of the licorice was gone in one move! Easy clean-up after that for the win. TGIO!

Anonymous said...

I had tried the fish with no luck but after reading above, tried again and done! Tanka crushers!

I'm playing this during Kings giving a "chocolate" on every game. I also decided to add a "chocolate" from my boosters. The game started with only one chocolate on the board so I thought my booster chocolate would drop down. It never came. So don't be tricked into using a booster on this board.

michelle mcbride said...

Several days on this board...boring..
Tried fish...useless...had to use right away.
Then used all 3 boosters...had to use right away....but got down to several moves left.
Used gold bars for 5 moves and a free hammer.
I'm done...thankfully...
Moving on....

Anonymous said...

I find I'm having more fun collecting sugar drops from previous games than I am from playing these recent games. I only come back to play when I hit a cooldown period. Then I have more boosters since it's near to impossible to win a game without using at least one. How sad it has come to this.

Anonymous said...

Wow, someone is having a hard time winning and is taking it out on fellow players. Everyone has the right to say what they want and if YOU don't like it YOU can go somewhere else. No one is making you come here to read the comments.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, the above comment is to the nasty person commenting a little further down at 5:16. Annonymous of course.

Anonymous said...

For some reason three chocolate bombs fell (no, I didn't use a booster) and somehow I maneuvered two together. Wiped out all the licorice and I finished on the last move. Whew, I'd been on this a while. Take heart, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Good luck.

Wow, so many whiners on here. Apparently you all feel you should win on the first try. I haven't come close on this one but it will happen eventually. Thank you to the creator of this site. Your comments are helpful.

Driving me nuts this level!!!

Anonymous said...

Please someone help me!! This level is rubbish! Down to 5 jellies is my best! Weeks now I've been stuck here

Anon lafy said...

On my third day and fed up with countless tries and shuffles galore. I came so close this time and decided to use some of my lollipop hammers to finish it - so I did! Why else have I been playing sugar drops?

Anonymous said...

CC developers you gave us a few good levels which required skill and now this board based on pure luck we deserve better at such a high level you will lose a lot of players with boards like this

Mary Zee said...

Played this level for over a week, finally started with a fish and striped/wrapped combo. Although they were separate at the beginning, fish kept coming and finally got a fish/striped combo. Clear as much licorice as you can before using combos. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

My favorite level for gathering sugar drops (666) doesn't seem to offer me them anymore. :( What other levels are easy and offer lots of sugar? I have reached this level of desperation! Just learned the lesson the hard way about only playing downward on this board. If you play towards the top it released the licorice. Still at it....

Anonymous said...

I had to resort to using about 4 gloves to get through this one. I was finding it almost impossible. Fish didn't help at all. Good luck!

Anonymous said...

Usually when I use a fish booster, I have the initial fish, plus a few that (arbitrarily) pop up as my game goes one.
I've used the fish booster twice now. The first time I never got to use it, because I never got to clear the are around the fish. The second time I freed, and used, the fish quickly, but no other ones ever appeared. No more fish boosters.
The sprinkle ball is of no use either because you usually have to use it within your first few moves, and at that point in the game, its useless.

Anonymous said...

Another one that is long and boring. And it's nice their giving away a sprinkle ball but it does nothing

Anonymous said...

Candy crush is making a fool out of me on this level. Need to stop this craziness and move on to something else in my life.

Bill. said...

Cleared most of the jelly then two chocolate bombs plus striped candy did the trick. Still needed extra moves from the sugar trail.

Barb Whitlock said...

Another boring, monotonous, tedious level, requiring no skill. Just waiting and getting old and hoping for the lucky board! I've had all kinds of generous combinations which once 'exploded' seems to leave me with no other moves. Make some changes CC. Don't like 'em easy, but don't like the waiting on the lucky board, either.

Andulamb said...

Maybe everyone could just accept that the levels are really hard once you get this high? King has two options: make the levels harder to slow people down (and yes, to encourage people to spend money), or they can endure people's constant bitching about wanting new levels. This blog is supposed to provide tips for completing levels, and now all we get is bitching.

But at least the blog post for this level has good tips. After reading the tips, I prioritized: making wrapped candies, clearing the most licorice with each move, working towards the bottom as quickly as possible, and ignoring the opportunity to make striped candies except when the act of making them was also the move that allowed me to clear the most licorice. The very next game I played with this strategy, I won. I managed to get two adjacent color bombs, and then made a couple more color bombs after that.

Yes, even with a good strategy there's still a lot of luck involved. News flash: many games involve luck.

Anonymous said...

Pointless n boring ...... Makes me feel stupid ..... So get stuffed King n yr game ..... Totally a big gooooood bye !!!!

Anonymous said...

two adjacent chocolate sprinkles will clear all the licorice.

Anonymous said...

Another board set for failure. Skill plays nowhere in this level, you just have to wait days, possibly weeks for a lucky board. 2 color bombs together still left jelly and 3 combinations in the beginning forced me to use boosters before I needed them.....its a lose lose situation. Time to get back to my books, this level is so boring, I'm ready to quit for good. Good luck players

Anonymous said...

If you don't like the whining then just piss off!

Anonymous said...

Got down to 2 jelly and 12 moves left. Yep, no moves to be made to clear them and no bonus candy left either. I have paid enough to CC and refuse to give any more donations so I just lost the game and will try again for another day or so before I get fed up again and take a long break :)

Anonymous said...

I WONDER IF KING HANDS OUT BONUSES TO EMPLOYEES WHO BUILD THE MOST PROFITTING LEVELS ON CC. BASTARDS!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Pointless level unless you get very lucky. I think CC saying the level is hard is very misleading. HARD implies some skill is needed, not so in this case along with a number of others the same. No skill or brains required at all!!
You will have more luck wasting $10.00 on a lottery ticket. I am almost done with this nonsense.

TJ said...

I finally got this one. You just need a lucky board which and a hammer. I played and never even came close until I got a good board.

Anonymous said...

How does one get a lucky board? How long do you have to wait? I like challenging boards, but I'm tired of the ones based strictly on luck.

GC said...

I find there's not much going on at first because of he lack of space, as already advised, but I'll be lucky to make stripes let alone wrappers. But when I'm getting low on moves all of a sudden there's wraps and stripes, evidently not enough to clear the board.

I wasn't concentrating this morning and had a go on the extra spin which cost me 10 gold bars and all I got was a wrap and fish. I could've kicked myself. First thing in the morning is not a good idea for making decisions lol.

Ok back to the board, good luck everyone.

Have been stuck here for many days....was hoping to clear this before getting in the car for a 3 day drive home but no such luck. I cannot even come clos! I use candy crush to amuse me while my husband drives. This level is far from amusing! It is so boring and spends a lot of time shuffling. Please give me a lucky board soon!

tedious and boring

Most levels that use all 6 colors stuck. Then there's the licorice...

This has got to be the worse level yet😡😡 I have being trying for two weeks and has not even got close. Love my Candy Crush game but getting really annoyed .

Anonymous said...

This game is boring, please get me out of this game.

Anonymous said...

For some reason I keep getting boards that reshuffle umpteen times, not just the start but all through the level. Never happened before and its cracking me up. No chance to put any moves together!

Raylo said...

Been here for weeks! I'm done. No fun and no chance to win unless CC wants you to. No skill involved. I hate to see my CC run come to an end, but it seems none of my friends are playing anymore anyway. I'm a diehard, I guess.

Anonymous said...

A c-bomb wrap combo is the way to go. This will only work after the board has been opened up and there are lots of candies of the right color that will convert to wraps. So don't bother trying this at the beginning with boosters. After this combo I was able to easily clear out the remaining jelly except for one in the top left corner. Hammer time.

Started with 5 chances available. The first four ended immediately after the first match, with "no more switches available" and game over. On the fifth and final try, it said the same thing, but it showed three greens in a row that didn't explode! Totally bogus as there was a match showing - - scam game.

Anonymous said...

This is exactly what happened to me - only difference was I had 3 yellows showing that didn't explode and was told No Matches. There is definitely something wrong with this level. I refuse to use my fish or bombs because when I did the only move was to fire off the sprinkle bomb and then NO Matches and game over. So just wasting them. Might try another day and hope for the glitch to be fixed Or just part company with CC for ever.

connie said...

Poor King: boosters don't work on this level so as long as I'm stuck here (days) I can't buy boosters to help on further levels. Sigh.

Anonymous said...

This level is definitely broken. I've gotten "no more possible matches" message about 12 times now when there clearly are more matches. A few times even 3 same colored candies in a row that just didn't explode. Please fix your stuff CC.

Anonymous said...

Hard is one thing.... then there is REDICULOUS!!!

Anonymous said...

I worked for two days. Finally got a sprinkle bomb next to a wrapped candy. That did the trick, but I did need to use a couple of lollipop hammers. What annoyed me the most was that about half the time I didn't get to play because there were no more possible combinations. Stupid.

Cuzbuddy said...

I go to try to get sugar drops from previous levels but it doesn't give me no chance just like I've already played that level. What's the scoop I wrote levels down that other people said but it doesn't give me the c candy

Anonymous said...

Talk about frustrating! I finally beat this level after a few days of playing with 15 moves left, but I did not advance! Still stuck on 1252. Wtf.

Anonymous said...

Have never heard so many call something be boring again and again and still here complaining. I used to tell my kids if you are bored go outside and play.
First try one jelly left on last move. Hammer time. Onward to the next not boring level.

Mal and Den said...

Yes, had about 8 goes with fish. Just not enough. Some levels require thought and strategy. Some are like playing a poker machine. They all play out eventually. Problem is do you want to keep trying for so long. Obvious some levels are designed to get you to buy. The selling is fast becoming a huge part of this game. Fortunately my PayPal account won't work on my phone.

Debbie said...

This was not a fun level. I gave in and used a jellyfish booster, which helped a lot. Got it down to two jellies and hammered the suckers. Voila!!

After reading all the comments here I resigned myself to playing this for days but because one person gave some good tips (make wraps, play from bottom) I actually passed with 9 moves left over!! Don't give up, it's doable! Oh yeah, I used a stripe/choc.ball combo and reset until together.
