Candy Crush Saga Level 1462

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1462 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Allina Rumfelt.
You have 28 moves to clear a bunch of licorice on the bottom, jelly on the top and to clear 2 cake cannons.
Stripes and stripe/wrap combos will clear the cakes, usually the bottom one will be cleared first as it's harder to hit the top one.
The first cake cannon will clear all the licorice and a layer of jelly up top. Use vertical stripes and stripe/wraps to clear the  cake cannons and to try and make enough room on the bottom to start making moves.  Once you can clear the licorice it will be easier to get the cakes.
Special candies and combos are easy to make once you have space to work in the bottom.

Fun, no need for a special lucky board, follow main tips by Allina.

Fun? Not for me. The only time I've destroyed one of the cakes, I had 2 moves left! Not getting stripe/wraps, or sprinkles next to anything good. When I do try to set up a move, a cascade blows it up! There is definitely skill needed, but a lot of luck too.

Had a lot of problems getting the top cake. Got close, so used a lollipop on the final piece, then was able to clear the rest of the jellies easily.

Used 3 hand switches to make stripe/ wrap combos which wiped out both cakes and last jelly

I have only 28 moves not 40 .
Did they change the moves?

Yet another tedious level. Yes, only 28 moves on tablet, it's near impossible. I don't understand why we have to have this difference in moves between various devices. It's 40 moves on iMac! Passed it at the third attempt, ridiculous. Ah, well, onwards we go.

I have a Mac laptop and only have 28 moves. It gets tedious and boring when they reduce the moves to near impossible . No skill required - only lucky board

Yep, only 28 moves through facebook now. It is impossible. Waiting on a lucky board. Really irritating to hear that a doable board has been made impossible in the past 2 weeks.

Moves 28. Very difficult level I had a chocolate bomb plus striped candy early which eliminated both cakes then straightforward. Seems very odd to reduce the moves King should test each level more thoroughly.

Can't even get one cake cleared , let alone two and all the jelly. Not fun as it seems impossible. Down to lots of luck again. Grace from DU

28 moves only on PC and it is not enough!!! Please take off the comment that we have 40 moves and change it to 28. It is discouraging to see that with out tips and hints. Grace from DU

Only 28 moves for me too. I'm sure if we all had 40 moves like the video shows we would find it so much easier. As it is. It's pretty impossible. It's about time King made all the games equal.

After posting the above comment I decided to use a chocolate bomb and a wrap stripe booster.it did the trick. It saved me struggling for days on end trying to beat this.

The video shows the level being cleared with 40 moves ,its misleading as we only have 28 ,the video looks straight forward but the reality is very different when playing ,I've not been able to clear both cakes once ,ive cleared one on several occasions but im only left with a few moves to clear the rest ,yet again another level that could do with a few more moves .

has anyone ever hit the jackpot on the free daily spin? Just curious...

Anonymous said...

nope, i've never hit the jackpot, 'got it' a few times, then it just trickles over unrealistically - im not sure its possible. i dont bother to try anymore, i just get hammers and hand switches

Only once, a couple of months ago, on my tablet. I almost fainted and my brother was in shock as he's been playing it much longer than me and never got it. He tried it on his tablet as well in case it was a 'special' day but no joy...

Hideous level, used every booster I had, needed hammers and 5 extra moves with last of my gold bars so scrape through, hate it.

I used the fish booster to help clear the cakes. I cleared the bottom first and worked on the left bottom to clear the top cake. Completed the last 2 moves with hammers. I got the jackpot one time when the daily boosters first started.

Tried for ages to complete this game, eventually completed it using fish boosters, lollipop hammer and switch and the board froze, ( not for the first time on iphone) so am still stuck, really annoying.

Yeah, not fun. I HATE cake

Anonymous said...

Right! You don't get any good combos til right before you run out of EFFING moves!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Can't do it without boosters. Impossible to get any moves to get the jellies on the bottom, top left side under top cake unless you get a bunch of good lined up stripes or combos and boosters! SUCKS!!!!!!

Just to say that I hit the jackpot once on the daily spin wheel, reckon got more chance getting again than clearing this level !!!!

Anonymous said...

Yep the morons at king went from 40 moves to 28. They are nothing but a scamming company that wants people to spend money on boosters!!

About the jackpot, I got it once, a few weeks ago, and certain it was a glitch, as the arrow hesitated, they popped over and it actually shuddered when it did. I think it was a complete fluke. Dare I say I think C.C. is attempting to get us to buy, as I've talked to a few who do buy and they actually do get the jackpot occasionally, but those of us who do not buy..........never.

making lots of ultimately unusable boosters

I don't ever find that you have less moves on a laptop vs phone when playing this. I think CC just changes the levels after they've been released for a while and this is one of them where you only have 28 moves and not 40 like they originally released. This is a tough one with 28 moves. Waiting for that lucky board.

I've gotten the jackpot twice and both times my jaw hit the ground. I stared and stared at my phone not believing it was real. I have never paid a penny for this game either.

Livia Saunders said...

King.. Would you please add some moves? Maybe make it 34?? I've gotten down to needing 6 candies twice. One chunk left in one cake

I got this one on the 5th try using a fish booster. Guess I got a lucky board too! Cascades did most of the work.

Again, another annoying level.

Tick tock...I am losing interest just shuffling around what is available...King please set me free with the lucky board before I die of boredom.

I found the fish booster very helpful, they picked off some of the stray jellies in difficult to get to places and ate some of the pieces of cake. Good luck everybody X

I could probably do it with 40 moves but 28 is pushing it a bit far. Not sure about other users but I'm not finding it easy to make stripes and combo's. Please help cc.

Never

I thought 1459 was tough!
Yikes!

Here is what got it.
Make a stripe/wrap along with a fish booster. Park the stripe/wrap in the top right corner one line down. This will hit the left and bottom right cake. There where 2 slices left in the left cake fish took care of 1 piece, made horizontal combo and left cake gone. Fish attacked the bottom cake leaving 1 pc.
Used hammer, the rest was simple cleanup. Not impossible, not waiting for "lucky board." If you have the boosters available used them or go sugar cube hunting instead of playing the same game over and over.
Just do it.

Never! And I don't know anyone who has. Been playing for a couple years and you would think a daily spin would yield at least one. Nope! Must be rigged. I just don't know why though. What does King care?
