Candy Crush Saga Level 1475

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1475 Candy Crush Saga without boosters
Level 1475 has been fixed so you don't have to worry about the licorice so much as it will all count towards your orders even if one of the UFO's hits it.
Level 1475 can be the most frustrating level in the whole game! You need to collect 28 licorice as well as the 8 wraps and the chocolate.
The chocolate is easy, don't worry about it at all.
The wraps shouldn't be too much of a problem either as you only need to make 2, the other 6 are given to you by the UFO's.
The problem is the licorice.
If you use the UFO's too early they will turn some of your licorice into wraps and you don't get any more, if this happens you may as well quit and start again.
Clear as much of the licorice as you can before you uncover the UFO's and allow the chocolate to grow in the bottom part of the board, then the first UFO will place all three wraps in the chocolate, thus leaving the licorice alone.
The second UFO is likely to place it's wraps in the remaining licorice unless there is just one piece left because it goes for what you need to help you complete the level.
So before you set off the second UFO you need to clear as much as you can of the licorice. Use combos or any special candy to clear the licorice and don't forget about your 2 wraps.
Two colour bombs switched together will clear all the licorice and just leave you with the wraps.

This level can be very hard because it has six colors and bombs, and getting matches that clear licorice can be far easier said than done. It's also entirely possible to get down to no moves available except to use a UFO. I was absurdly lucky to have two wraps fall together ready made, right in the center of the board, and those cleared all my bombs and some licorice as well.

On the King forum a King person said they are "investigating" this level. Apparently they either didn't foresee the UFO-licorice problem (do they not play the levels at all before they release them?) or didn't think it would be a big deal. It's anyone's guess what, if anything, they will do about it.

Damn, what a frustrating level, been stuck here for 4 days, and believe, this has NEVER happened to me before...

I hit the 2nd UFO on my last move, the game ended before the UFO did it's thing, so I had to buy gold to keep playing. Guess it was worth it to win the level on that move, but shouldn't have had to...it should have let it play out that last move!

Anonymous said...

The problem is that when the wrapped candies coming from the UFOs hit the licorice, it is not counted. So you will end the game being short of at least two licorices. The solution is to have 5-6 lollipops and what until you get a board where you have collected at least 2 wrapped candies and dont have more licorices left than you have lollipops. Then you can take them out with the lollipops. You have to do this BEFORE you set the UFOs in motion.

Another impossible level!! Sort it out king!!

Anonymous said...

Thought it should be simple to get the required Liquorice but most attempts I ended up 2 short!!! Finally managed to keep the second UFO until I only had 2 liquorice left and the bombs then cleared them and counted them both. I thought it was an error that it was not counting correctly the liquorice correctly...

It can be done without using hammers but is certainly frustrating when some of the liquorice disappears into thin air!!!

Anonymous said...

Exactly 10:22 Anonymous. That's what I had to do to win the level. Three hammers and a check candy that gave me one liquorice which I actually didn't need, but the extra liquorice was nice padding! You definitely have to wait for lots of chocolate before letting off the first UFO and hope to heck it goes in the chocolate. AFter many, many tries I got it but had to go collect a bunch of hammers first and some checked candies that don't always give you a liquorice. It does take some skill so that part was fun. I don't think King will fix this, I think it is intentional so that they get paid for this one. It is very possible to do it with the freebies they give and to work around the "glitch" if it is one. Have fun, collect hammers and you will be through in no time.... No more levels yet anyways... so the only hurry is to collect more freebies for the next round of torture LOL.

The problem is the flying saucers taking out the licorice is how it's supposed to work because when the licorice first came out you wanted it gone, preferably to never come back. Then the programmers decided to have collecting blockers as the goal of the game and didn't re-program the flying saucers. And I don't think they play the levels, either. There was one clear-the-jelly level that had a piece of jelly under a chocolate fan. It took them two weeks to visit that and they only way you could win was if you used a fish from the booster wheel and two of them ate the jelly under the chocolate fan. That kind of thing would have been noticed if anyone had played the level beforehand.

Another glitch in this game, is that if you have any bomb w/ a count of 1 left, and unleash the flying saucer, even if the saucer positions itself to take out that bomb, the bomb countdown going to zero ends the game before the wrapped candy explodes it in the same move. Cannot tell you how many times I could have passed this level, if the flying saucer exploded the bomb first as it turned to zero. Very frustrating. The rest of this chapter I passed easily on the day it was released. Been stuck on this level ever since. 100s of lives used, and boring as hell.

Anonymous said...

This level is totally possible without boosters and a little skill. You have to set of the first UFO when there is plenty of chocolate and preferably after you have collected at least one extra wrapped. Then the second one should go either when there are no liquorice or when bombs are around. If the UFO sets off bombs it wont affect the liquorice. I went back after winning and got it without boosters. You just have to play the UFOs a little differently now. It is certainly very tricky but hammers will help you do the trick. They won't fix this... I think they meant to do it.

Unknown said...

After a day of trying this, finally got it....I was down to 2 liquorice and still had my 2 UFO's that worked...otherwise I was always short 1 or 2 liquorice...FINALLY...

Anonymous said...

This is a very difficult level but there seems to be a problem with it as well. I had one move left on a bomb so activated the UFO in the hope that it would destroy it. Before the UFO could do anything, the game ended, saying that the bomb was about to explode. The UFO then proceeded to kill the bomb but the game was over.

Anonymous said...

Yes, this level is pissing me off, but I'll tell what's even more insane!! Using a booster on these new levels, and everytime, I only get the one I started with. Check mark?? None ever appear! same for fish! WTF???

Anonymous said...

Really? I figured out the UFOs early on, and then had to count the licorice, as I took them all out, but using a UFO - as there was no other move on the board. That UFO took out the licorice all right, but I didn't get credit for them. I cannot began to tell you how many times I am short one licorice - fulfilling all other orders. I don't think they built this glitch in the game, I think no one at King played this one before putting it up. It is at the end of available games, so I don't anticipate they will fix it until they have more games lined up! I have a limited amount of boosters on my PC, and refuse to purchase any to complete a bad level. My IPad has a zillion boosters - but it will take almost 2 weeks to get this level loaded on it. Possibly by then King will have new levels, and fix this one!

Anonymous said...

I'm done with this BS, I'm done with Candy Crush!

Alison said...

Looks like they have fixed the glitch, hopefully will be able to finish it now.

Anonymous said...

Think they just changed the level because the licouris is counted when swallowed bij bomb from the ufo's

Anonymous said...

After several days plugging away, suddenly it all works and I get through ... didn't do anything special, held the flying saucers until there was a decent clump of chocolate and bingo!

Anonymous said...

Stick with it because they have fixed it. I loved the next level so don't give up xx

Anonymous said...

Interesting... now that the next episode is available to play, all of the glitches from 1475 have suddenly disappeared.

Anonymous said...

The only way I could see to complete this board was to wait until I got lucky with the first UFO not knocking out any licorice. Then when I just needed the last three wrapped and a few chocolate I used SEVEN lollipop hammers to delete the licorice before detonating the UFO. Hey presto, level finished with three stars! I did subsequently play the game again whilst waiting for the next episode and finished it without boosters, but only got two stars.....................

Unknown said...

What about 1478???

Anonymous said...

I only play on my iPad. Because of the wait for levels to come up I ended up with a zillion special candies which makes the new levels very easy to complete. I think it is time to look for another game unless they come up with more challenging levels.

Anonymous said...

Not fixed yet, at least on Android. I'm still missing two licorice every time...

Anonymous said...

I'm surprised by the moments- I've come close several times but it was the chocolate that I couldn't get😂
Oh well!

One booster, 2 stars, first try. I started out with a sprinkle and kept resetting my android until I was able to match two sprinkles side by side (I had to reset a LOT of times). This took out all of the licorice. I played the top board until half of the chocolate was built up and then activated one of the UFOs; this took out the build-up chocolate. I repeated the steps for the rest of the chocolate.

Always on mobile. Agreed with an earlier post that this level is totally possible without boosters. My problem was the 2 additional wraps. Twice I ended the game short of one. Finally did it without boosters after concentrating on getting these 2 wraps earlier in the game. Overall this episode is nothing spectacular, easily forgettable save for level 1470 which was memorable for the need of offboard boosters to succeed. This long wait for next episode has returned some normalcy to my life.

I'm having all the same frustrations with the saucers. I even have 24 hrs of free life and can't even come close.

Anonymous said...

Really kicking myself over this one. First time I played had all the chocolate, wraps and only needed two licorice which were on the board. Should have used two lollipop hammers but I didn't. Played many, many times since and either get timed out by a bomb or chocolate takes over but mostly I'm always short one or two licorice or wraps. Thanks for all the tips. I'll keep on trying.

Hep!! Horrible level!!

Anonymous said...

Tried using a Check booster a few times. Only got stripes and twice got a wrap but no licorice. So often run out of moves and only option is to set off UFO. Doesn't matter how much chocolate you have it always goes to licorice and turns two of them into wraps.
Always short two licorice every time I play.

Thank you to anonymous Jan.27 @15:32. Used a Chocolate sprinkle booster and reset (only took about 12 resets) until I could make another that would land one move away. Then used a hand switch to line them up and they do get rid of all the licorice. Then got two wraps before I set off the ufo's and continued playing at the top while chocolate grew all the while watching countdown on bombs (was getting bombs falling at top of board besides the bomb dispensers every time I played this level). Finished with four moves left. HORRIBLE level!!!!

In the demonstration video the ufo lands a wrapped candy on a licorice at 1:28 and it still counts??

Anonymous said...

Do not play on mobile phone. UFO putting wrapped candies on licorice is not counted at such platform but counted on PC platform.

Anonymous said...

Fortunately I was playing on the computer and not on mobile, so I had no idea that this level was so horrible. I got it on the first try without boosters, as it appeared the UFO's was taking out licorice and they still counted. I was able to form the extra two wraps easily enough and was not too worried about the chocolate because I figured the UFO would handle that. Perhaps if I am a glutton for punishment I should try it on mobile.

I beat this January 28 on a Samsung tablet thanks to a previous post on this blog. Use a Chocolate sprinkle and reset until you can make another next to it (use a hand swipe if you have to). When uou swipe two Chocolate sprinkles they take out and count all of
the licorice that is required.

Can I ask a dumb question? I've only played on my phone. How do I play on the PC? At the same level without having to start back at level 1? Thanks!!

Anonymous said...

That is a nasty level, at least on Android. The nastier part here is that the UFO's do not bomb random spots, they bomb the licorice. So, even when I had only 2-3 licorices left when I activated the UFO's they bombed right on these few licorice, and the level could not be completed. I finally completed this nasty level by creating a pair of adjacent sprinkled candies. The 2nd one, with the help of the freebie hand tool. This pair of candies eliminated all the licorice, and from there the way was easy.

Anonymous said...

Lisa: You just sign into Facebook and bring up games and Candy Crush Saga and it will put you into the game at the level you are at. But, I'm assuming that when you play on your phone while actually in the game you have signed into Facebook. Then it will always sync your progress between devices.

As of this morning the UFO(2) were still taking out 2 licorice. I finally passed the level after a day of total frustration by switching two wrapped candies together early in the board. It took care of all the "glitches", and the UFO(2) behaved themselves.

This level is still not fixed on the mobile app. My husband was having issues with it and had to pass it on the computer version.

So freaking frustrated with this level! I can't get rid of the licorice before the ufo goes off and changes them.

Level 1475 is crap but a blessing too. Can't be completed so goodbye to the game :)

So King's stragety appears to be make the level impossible, certainly is on android anyway. So we all give up. I saw a post on another site saying the way to go is to allow the chocolate to grow to 9 squares, then the flying saucers target the chocolate and not the liquorice. Not true. I've tried everything, but the saucers always take out the liquorice. Game over. I've used all my bonuses from the wheel, don't know what to do next. I guess I will take a break until King fixes the problem, or some kind soul tells me a strategy that really works. Off now to enjoy some sunshine.

amazon queen said...

The sunshine worked. Used the bonus sprinkle from today, plus my last sprinkle from the bonus wheel. Reset until they were next to each other, and they took out all the liquorice. Whoopeee!! Then played very carefully to make wraps, and bingo, I completed it. Next level was such fun, so onwards I go!! Happy candy crushing all :-)

Anonymous said...

If the bombs get down to 2 or less you can set off the ufo and it will target the bombs before anything...I still haven't passed the level but just made that discovery...hope it helps!

Unknown said...

This level needs to be fixed! This is ridiculous. Glitches glitches glitches!!!!

Jani said...

King you have no respect for your clients. If you don't fix this level you won't have any clients left.

FrankC said...

Mission impossible on iPad. After days of frustration connected to Facebook on PC and made it on second attempt. Ridiculous but true! On PC the UFO's do take out liquorice but the will just count towards the goal.....how bizar!.

Anonymous said...

Impossible to complete on iOS platform. King Developers suck at life.

billie said...

It is impossible to complete this level on an iPhone or iPad which isn't fair and really sucks!

LynnR said...

Playing on android the CC fix of the disappearing licorice when the flying saucers detonated was not fixed so this level was impossible to play on android. On my PC where that glitch was fixed I got it first try.

Anonymous said...

You need to have your account linked to your facebook and then it will duplicate your game so that you can play on either.

Anonymous said...

Getting the bombs to a very low count then setting off the ufos is the key. I had chocolate, a bomb on 0 and another on 1 and the ufos targeted these and left the licorice alone. Hurray!

Anonymous said...

No point in playing anymore unless they fix this level as it is impossible on my iPad. Even using tick candy doesn't produce enough wraps so still need your photos. Tried waiting for bombs to get very low but only ever have 1 low bomb at a time!! One way of curing an addiction I suppose!!!

Jude said...

This level is not fixed on PC. UFOs which target the licorice (which most of them do) will mean the level is unsolvable as the licorice it targets isn't counted - just like on Android.
And tick booster has never given me licorice.
Can't see a way forward.

Anonymous said...

have tried on android, amazon fire, and google chromebook and this glitch is still on these three platforms. Otherwise would be an easy level, but trying to keep the ufos intact and get the licorice is crazy.

Anonymous said...

I00's of lives used up on this level. Bored to tears! Come on lucky board.

Bill. said...

On PC Facebook impossible since wrapped candy didn't count liquorice when they landed on the liquorice. On phone it did count. Still difficult but achievable.

Anonymous said...

I had a treasure chest that gave me infinite lives for 6 hours. Can't believe I still couldn't pass this level. Impossible with 25 moves and UFOs still take out licorice. Can't believe I was stupid enough to waste 6 hours playing this game!

auntiejet53 said...

I think this level has just been fixed on PC. Previously the liquorice did not count when hit by saucers so it was impossible to get all the 28 liquorice. I was making this my last day then giving up for a few weeks to see if it got fixed but went to a sugar a drop level to try and collect some boosters first (first time I have done this) then when I played I let chocolate build a bit used first saucer and thought wow I'm sure when it hit the liquorice it counted! last liquorice was next to a bomb and second saucer took them both out not sure if the liquorice counted cos of the bomd. I used a jelly hand to creat a wrap but did buy 5 extra moves to explode my wraps,I did not want to take a chance and play again incase the liquorice taken out by the saucers did not count

Diane said...

If you're playing on an android device and it is not counting the licorice, try manually updating the app. That's what finally worked for me on my Kindle fire. It's like the fix isn't there unless you manually update. Passed it the first time after that, before that it was impossible.
Diane

Anonymous said...

Finally after days of playing I got a lucky board! Got two sprinkled balls to be together and it takes out all the licorice. I didn't have to use any boosters. Don't give up it will come.

Anonymous said...

dumbass level, did what you're supposed to then im one short on licorice cos apparently it didnt bother to count it when cleared.... awesome gaming King, way to go. and thats twice now, bored now cant be bothered with broken gaming

Anonymous said...

This is an impossible level, so frustrating!!! I hope they fix this so the licorice are easier to get rid of, instead of having the ufo take away one or two when released.

MM Olson said...

The top of the blog says, "Level 1475 has been fixed so you don't have to worry about the licorice so much as it will all count towards your orders even if one of the UFO's hits it." Nope!!! Here I am playing it, in April 2016, and the bombs STILL wipe out licorice swirls which are subsequently not counted towards the goal number. Grrrrrr!!!!

MM Olson said...

I need to amend my above post... I tried on my PC and indeed the glitch is fixed. It is on my Android that the licorice do not get counted when the wrappers from the UFO are detonated. I will do as someone else suggested above, to update my Android version of the game to the most current release. Hope to pass this dastardly level soon!

MM Olson said...

Whew! Finally passed this level on my PC. Yay!!!! And the next level, 1476, is a fun one! Worth the effort to get on through!

Anonymous said...

Started the level with a wrapped/striped combo. Used the wrapped and concentrated on making another wrapped. Once I got that, the game was easy. Ufo let go on both and won the game.

Ann said...

played twice. both times come up 2 wraps short...haven't been able to make a single wrap

Anonymous said...

Any glitches must've been fixed. Third try, three stars, no boosters.

Good advice (above) to let the chocolate grow to at least eight or nine before setting off the first, er, whatchamacallit, spaceship.
