Candy Crush Saga Level 1543

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1543 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect the 8 popcorns, 50 licorice swirls and switch two colour bombs together twice.
Switching the colour bombs will give you 28 of the licorice swirls you need, so you'll need to collect the licorice whenever you have the chance.
Try to grow the popcorns at the same time so you get your colour bomb combos from them, although this isn't always easy.
Switching 2 colour bombs together will give you a hit on all the remaining pocorns, so will be really helpful, as well as collecting licorice.
Stripe/wrap combos are good as they will hit the popcorns as well as hopefully taking a bit of licorice.
The popcorns will block blasts from your combos, but once the popcorns are cleared or partly cleared the combos will hit the licorice.
You will need to play carefully and think about what your moves are going to do before you make them if you want to pass level 1543 easily.

Great tips! Look at the entire board before making moves. I focused on making 2 color bomb switches first and then set up stripe/wrap combos to clean up remaining licorice. Took 3 attempts but passed with no boosters and 3 stars.

Played this 1 a handful of times but finally managed it. Since the popcorns are usually popped at different times it can be a pain in the ass to get 2 color sprinklies adjacent to each other. But got my lucky board snd done with it.

What?! Do I have a troll now???. First try got everything but licorice. My combos hardly touched the licorice!
What am I missing??

Cat. Catgirl. CC. Noone cares. Just post anonymous and you wont have an issue. Quite simple...

Finally! 3 sprinkle switches, a few random stripes, and 2 lollipop hammers, because I wasn't going to spend hours getting that close again! The licorice is the worst because you can only take out one at a time unless you hit them with a combo.

I got close the first time I tried this level, needing just a couple of licorice to get the level. Then I struggled until I got my lucky board. The effort should be to try to evenly grow the popcorn, so wrap/stripe combos near the top of the board work well, or detonating wraps when they are one row above the popcorn. Luck then shone down on me when I got the first pair of colour bombs, and that freed up two more that remained adjacent, so using them produced another pair that were adjacent. Setting those off freed up two more adjacent colour bombs, four consecutive moves setting off colour-bomb pairs, which did a number on the licorice. Lucky board indeed; ten moves left and three stars.

Took somewhere around 15 moves, even with resetting for a first vertical stripe, until I got adjacent choc balls three times, which I think were needed. Wraps would go off inconveniently, clearing the two nearest popcorns but then exploding both choc balls, and even when I got the two needed choc ball combos the closest I had come was 6 licorice, and usually far more, so I found this harder than some of you above. Good luck.

Hey everyone. Had to use all 3 of my boosters to accomplish this level.

Thankfully its finito!

Wrapped candy useful but can explode chocolate bombs too early. Need to concentrate on vertical striped candy as well to grow the popcorn. Took a lot of attempts.

Posting for luck. Can't get anywhere near enough licorice. Popcorn must be exploded exactly right or you just can't do it. Not enjoying this level. Glad some have found it easy.

Boy King sure knows how to make you use up boosters fast! Got it on the last move but I've used all my boosters up. Bummer. But glad to be moving on. Good luck.

Having a difficult time with this one. Can't get enough licorice. Even tried all three boosters twice--a waste. All the check mark did was give me popcorn restricting the board even more. It's boring waiting for that lucky board. Think I'll try the PC instead of the IPad.

Just posted above. First try on the PC worked like a charm. No boosters!

Got it it second try on the pic, thank you for the advice! I see the flying saucer booster on here too, I guess it's not on the iPad ๐Ÿ˜•

Sorry, damn auto correct, I meant to say pc above

Tin tin here. Wow..when you get a lucky board you get a lucky board...4 sets of choc balls side by side...all done in four moves.

Good for you Tintin...wtg!

This level is surprisingly hard. Every time I get close to releasing the chocolate balls, a bomb manages to come along in a cascade and blow everything up. Very hard to get the required amount of licorice.

Was hoping you all had a magic solution to get the licorice ...I gave no Orioles getting the two pairs of speckle balls together...can't get enough licorice ..and btw..I have flying saucers in my iPad ...won't buy them though. Might have to move to PC or android phone

It's hard to avoid auto forming wraps, but I found it best to make my own bombs and combine them twice. Then two more combos from the popcorn, and had all the requirements. Only two stars, but that doesn't worry me. Got it first on ipad (better score), then on mobile, took just a few tries.

I enjoyed this level. Once I combined 2 freckles together x 3 times that cleared everything.

I had a 2 hour infinity and played this level at least 100 times during that time period but just couldn't crack it. Then I read the tip above, and even though it didn't tell me anything that I wasn't already doing I cracked it the very next turn. Even though I played it forever it was still a fun level.

Again, another level that isn't a "hard level" that is actually hard. It isn't even just getting all the licorice. It is extremely difficult not to set of the colored balls once you get them. It is a disadvantage to actually get wrapped candy on this level because it is likely to trigger off when you don't want it to, exploding the colored balls before you have a chance to match it with another one. I've played the level about 50 times now and it happens almost every single time and the couple of times I was able to get the two colored-balls combos, I still had too much licorice to get and so few moves left. Hand-switches are probably going to be the most helpful on this one where you can switch the colored balls to get them to match up before they explode. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any in a long time and am out. I won't spend another dime on stupid levels like this one.

Hi. Snowgoose here. Just a quick warning to anyone who hasn't tried this yet - learn from my mistake! I thought check/tick boosters were meant to give you what you needed, so used one. It just gave me umpteen popcorns that blocked the board completely! You don't need any more pop corns; they're already supplied! What I was hoping for was a few extra chocolate sprinkles to get the swaps and popcorns out of the way quickly. No such luck. So be warned, steer clear of the check/tick boosters for this level!
Onward and upward. Have fun everyone!

I found this sooo hard!!!! Finally managed it cos I had 2 colour bombs on the board, used hand switches to put them together and it was done. But that took 4 double swaps to get through and dozens of lives. And now I'm stuck on the next level.....

Stuck on this ridiculous level for days on iPad, colour bombs always blew up and couldn't get anywhere near enough liquorice, went on PC and was given free flying saucers?? and passed with 19 moves to spare, a joke, why do King do this.

Harry the golden said...

Just can't get the licourice on iPad. Best I had was 14 left. Been stuck here for days and it isn't even a hard level! Do I have to crank up my old PC?

Anonymous said...

Played for many days on an iPad. Got the 2 sprinkle ball combos a number of times, but never came close with the licorice. Went and played on the pc and got it on my 2nd try with no boosters. Onward!

Lynn Westberg said...

After several tries ... Finding the remaining licorice frustrating, I thought the three double color bombs would work best. Certainly a bit tricky but was finally able to do it this way. For the third set, I had to make my own color bombs.

This one took me a long time. I tried switching to a PC but although I could make tons of special candies there, they kept blowing up the popcorns and the resulting sprinkle balls accidentally. I couldn't ever get 3 sets of sprinkle balls together. Finally ended up doing it on my iPhone by carefully NOT setting off too many wrapped candies close to the popcorn. I'd try to set off a wrap stripe combo then use stripes to grow two adjacent popcorns until I was able to get three sets of sprinkle balls and setting those of in sets of two finally, finally got me the licorice I needed. I tried all day previously and got tons of points, the needed popcorn and even the 2 sets of sprinkle balls but couldn't get the needed licorice with stripes or stripe/wrap combos.

This level is way hard.Have tried PC and tablet and after many days and numerous boards finally over it.CC is now no fun and nothing but frustration.Wish I had never started it.

Anonymous said...

Tried many times, with and without boosters. Got the combos and the popcorns several times but still needed at least 12 licorice, usually more. FINALLY got it down to two licorices with one move left so I used two hammers and walked away. Got three stars too. So my advice is keep trying, and keep playing the sugar drop levels so you'll have free boosters to use.

Oh what fun...not! This entire level is stressful stupied!

I'm finding this level incredibly difficult for some reason. Have played it tens of times and am getting as near as needing 4 licourice. Even with the 5 extra moves won with the wheel I've not cracked it yet.

skibuz said...

This was a horrible level for me! I tried on PC, iPad, and iPhone. At least with iPhone and iPad I could reset to try to get a better deal. Finally won on iPhone using 3 hammers. Very happy to move on!

No idea how I reached this level and don't know how to get the licorices. That is the only thing holding me back and it's getting irritating.

No Fun! Boring! I've had enough CC!!
