Candy Crush Saga Level 1544

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1544 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You need to score at least 125,000 points in 25 moves. Not easy, especially with 4 Evil Spawners and 3 chocolate machines blocking up the lower board with chocolate and marmalade.
The only way to score the points you need is to make special candies and combos, especially colour bombs. Use wrapped candies or stripes to grow the popcorns and give you some colour bombs.
If you can switch the colour bombs with wrapped candies this will give you the best scores, but switching a colour bomb with a stripe will clear a lot of marmalade and chocolate if it is starting to take over, although this won't give you many points.
Hit the spawners if you can, but don't waste moves on them, if you are making combos for the points that should keep them under control.

This level is not nearly so easy as you make it sound. If I don't hit the spawners the marmalade takes over, and then I need extremely lucky combos, which I never get.

I somehow done 1538 with no boasters but this level is way worse. The stupid clocks are almost impossible to destroy and in the one time I managed it I was nowhere near the required score. Candy Crush sucks big time now. No fun anymore with endless hard levels and no fun levels.

i agree with Anonymous above. I HATE this damned level.

125,000? I have to score 160,000! Seriously? Color bomb wraps are a great idea, if you can manage to pop a popcorn and line up a wrap right next to it while keeping the spawners under control. ANOTHER lucky board level. I really enjoy the levels that require you to use some strategy, but they seem to be few and far between lately.

What really really annoys me about this level is that when the game ends, there is no possibility of getting more moves. What gives? Why can't you buy more moves????? I just got to over 137,000 points and pfft. Done. This is ridiculous.

To reach 160,000 is quite a challenge. My first four attempts were shy, but at least over 100,000 so tried again. I focused on making combos without paying as much attention to evil spawners. Passed with 3 stars without using boosters. Don't give up. Keep making combos.

Okay, I am wild. I had 172000 points, but the marmalade took over, and I didn't have any moves left with 2 moves to go. FAIL. It was the lucky board I won't see again for a month.

Anonymous said...

298,220. Luckiest board I have ever seen. Chocolate balls were dropping out of the sky. Stupid game........

Anonymous said...

Had to use the boosters allowed before starting the game and did it no problem. Now it's time to build up my booster bank again by playing candy drops levels. Not enough strategy levels compared to lucky board levels anymore. But, this is just a game and I certainly won't stress about it. Happy crushing.

This is the ultimate insult to loyal players. I now need to find another game that is not money grubbing. Any suggestions? Not a King game.

I totally agree that they are making these levels ridiculously hard - to try to force you to get frustrated & pay. WHY? Aren't games supposed to be for FUN? I get making them challenging - but not so ridiculous that you have to rely on a "lucky" board to pass them. Even with good strategy these are impossible! And if they are tired of making levels then just END Candy Crush! I for one am looking for another game as well. This was fun for a very long tie but now is just turning into one giant frustration. :o(

I did it 1st time with a stripe/wrap combo booster (although they weren't together). Looks like I got lucky, which makes up for a lot of the crap levels I've endured recently (I never want to see 1537 or 1538 again!!!)

Anonymous said...

Took a few tries. Finally got a lucky board and when I got to 152,000 points bought five extra moves. Then the board went wild and I ended up with 295,000 points. Good luck!

For myself this came quite easy. I opened the popping corn quite quickly with some well placed stripe/wrap combinations.
I only had 120,000 when I sadly ran out of moves but my combos on the board and cascading candies gave me the necessary score.

I didn't find this board all that hard. I didn't clear the spawners, just concentrated on making combos to score the correct amount of points. Moving on......

Anonymous said...

The cascades were the only way I got through this tough one as well thankfully!

Whoever is posing as CC from Vero, please take a hike!! I have been posting here since I started the game and I don't appreciate your stupid, flip remarks!!! This is a hard level and I have not passed it yet, so get list, jerk!!

Ok- just finished this level using a sprinkle matched to a stripe wrap. Boosters made this doable. Good luck all

I did better with sprinkle/stripes than sprinkle/wraps, especially near the start when the popcorn restricts your moves. After a few attempts with over 120K points, I got lucky with the cascades and won with 198K.

These levels are getting too hard to be any fun at all anymore. Candy Crush is no longer enjoyable. Sad.

Got over 300.000 points and three stars on the fourth attempt. I found that detonating wraps near the evil spawners was an effective way to get rid of them, and a couple colour bomb/stripe moves helped too. In the end, got three of them and the remaining one proved to not be too much of a bother. There is little strategy in this game, except trying to get colour bombs and wraps together (which I did just once in my winning try). I found it useful to use colour bombs quickly, before they got embedded in marmalade or wiped by chocolate. This cleared colours and made wraps easier to form. As the popcorn popped, I was getting colour bombs and clearing colours and it seemed to be raining wraps, and when it did, and I had a long cascade of them, I got the points. Making wraps late should help boost the score.

Ok. I just cleared all the poppers and all the spawners and still only scored 95000. This level is impossible

Anonymous said...

My comment above about clearing all poppers and spawners I just did it again on a different device and my score actually went down to 83000. What is going on?. Is it possible on a mobile device or do I need to use a pc?

Anonymous said...

Did this first try on my iPad but needed 160000 points. Don't know what I did right but it worked!

Cat said...

Sadly its probably a Trump voter

Cat said...

Even with using both boosters and resetting, I passed only due to a final, lucky board. On iPad, I needed 160,000, not 125,0000. I opened with the same choc ball/stripe which hadn't worked before and did not get any any choc ball/wraps, but did get adjacent wraps, and used choc balls almost immediately when they came. What an idiotic level.

I got this about 5 tries on iPhone. Don't worry about spawners, concentrate on combos. For the last eight moves, I created and saved as many specials as I could, so I got a lot of points with the detonations at the end. 200520 point, two stars.

Concentrate on the popcorn and explode the chocolate bombs asap ignore the spawners and chocolate as far as you can.

After sending two scathing emails to king, I realized I could buy 6 hammers and 6 switches and use them during the game. After two tries I passed the level without any problem

I used both boosters together, I reset the game until the wrapped and sprinkle bomb were next to each other and ended with 3 stars and well over 200,000. Don't be tempted to match bomb and stripe, i couldn't get enough points that way, just got close but no cigar.

Anonymous said...

Tin tin here. Used the tip of wrapped and sprinkle bomb to start the level. Finally did it for me!

Anonymous said...

Reset until I could form a wrap on first move. Second move resulted in a sprinkle right next to the wrap! After the third move I had 46,000 points. Was able to combine two or three (can't remember) sprinkles and wraps and ended up with 225,000 points. Definitely my lucky board. JS

I haven't won yet, but am enjoying this one alot more than some of the previous lately. I thought I'd never get through the last timed one.

I much preferred this one compared to 1538 which I thought was the most difficult level ever! Could relax a little and find moves. Did get several sprinkles which helped a lot. JS

This level is just plain stupid. And why isn't it marked as a hard level, because I've played numerous times and can't get close to the score.
Also, what's the deal with the daily spin never hitting the jackpot? I hit it once about 1-1/2 yrs ago and never again. Funny how it either spins faster when it gets close, or stops right on the edge of hitting it. Hmmmm?

Anonymous said...

Ohhhh...I am soo pissed off..... soo close and did not allow me to add an extra 5 moves!!???

Angie Zarb Cousin said...

and yes ..... I never won the Jackpot!! "King" Must and should play fair!!...I am the same person as anon above..... Not happy

Anonymous said...

In the end I used to begin with a colour bomb and stripe/wrap booster. I then also used a switch hand to bring a wrapper next to a colour bomb gained from a popcorn. After that I guess I was just lucky and ended up with 243+ points. It's funny as I was playing I thought I had to get 160.000 instead of 125.000. Grace from DU

Anonymous said...

In addition, I did not knock out even one of the clocks in my winning game. And no, I have never yet had a Jackpot. Grace from DU

Anonymous said...

How in the hell is this not marked as a hard level!?

Anonymous said...

lucky board at last.
couple of switches (one more than needed, after one of those 'shout at yourself' mistakes we all make from time to time).
not really fun - at least not til the last time i'll ever play it!
couple of comments:
- sprinkle bombs seem to add more points the more you have used in a level - not just in cascades, where the score can really multiply
- tried this on PC in hope score would be lower, scoring higher. possibly the latter, but boy those clocks are brutal vs Android.
Good luck///

I somehow got this on the first try with no boosters and scored exactly 160,000 on the nose. Now can't pass the next level

Yes. Especially seniors who are on fixed income.

To all those complaining about having to buy boosters - you do realize King has to make money to pay their employees, right? Nothing in life is completely free. It is your choice to spend the money or not but to complain about King trying to make money, c'mon... If you worked for them you'd be hoping they'd make money so you could keep your job. I'm on a fixed income, too, and get frustrated at times but I don't expect the world to revolve around me & everything to be free for my benefit.

Anonymous said...

Well, this is another level that is not fun and I WILL NOT BUY BOOSTERS to complete this LEVEL! In fact, the 1500 levels so far have been so bad, nothing but pure luck. If Candy Curse wants to continue to make profits! I suggest you heed some advice: GET some talented programmers, the game now sucks and I've delete my facebook account. Because of the lack of foresight you people have, yoy won't get a cent from me and because of 1500 levels, I don't even bother playing any of your other games. Candy Crush is REALLY not that much fun. Get over yourself!

Anonymous said...

You don't need to buy boosters to win. Go back and play the candy collecting levels and save them for a few days then use them as needed. I used to buy boosters but no more. Just be patient and you will get that winner board.

Livia Saunders said...

I'm unable to go back to previous levels to collect candy but, I am able to play the same level again to collect special candiea as long as I exit the apo and reopen it... So I can't go back to the easy collection levels. Smh. Anyone else have the same situation?

Anonymous said...

Now instead of 125,000 you need to get 160,000 points...so it is way harder then it was in the beginning. They shouldn't be able to change the game once they put it out there. The new name for candy crush is candy crap.

Ann Marie Kleiber said...

This level can seem impossible, but it is do-able. Forget about the spawners and concentrate on making combos. Once I did that, I got closer and closer to making the score and finally passed it. Don't give up!

Anonymous said...

And I thought level 1525 was impossible. Wow. This level makes it look like child's play. So tired of CC making these incredibly difficult levels, makes the game no longer fun.
