Candy Crush Saga Level 1611

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1611 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1611 is a fairly easy level, the mystery candies will turn into chocolate and licorice so all you have to do is keep collecting them
If you allow the chocolate to grow for a few moves so you collect that first, it will give you more mystery candies at the end of the game once all the orders are collected.
Any unlocked mystery candies left at the end will turn into colour bombs, which will increase your score significantly.

  1. "This is a fairly easy level." No. It's not boring, it's kind of fun, but it is not easy.

  2. Used a tick candy from the bonus wheel helped generate the licquorice. Second attempt.

  3. I agree with Bill^ I had a problem with this level in that I couldn't get to the mystery candies on the sides. If I did happen to get 2 or three horizontal stripes, I couldn't get the candies to match up. I finally gave up and used to saucers to break through the sides. Passed with 1 star. Ugh.

  4. Not easy. I have gotten the chocolate requirement easily,.. but it's hard to get enough licorice without unlocking the sides. And that's not easy. Plus the chocolate eats up the checkmark candy before it turns to licorice.

  5. This was a fun, but different level. My strategy was to work down from the top (rather than the usual work from the bottom for cascade effect). I tried to alternate matching mystery candy with destroying chocolate and licorice. After several moves there was enough regular candy to make stripes, wraps, and sprinkle balls. Then those were combined to blast the sides and bottom to collect the rest of the needed chocolate and licorice. Three stars on my third attempt. -- The Chipster.

  8. this is a very difficult level - I have not got close yet - chocolate is easy but lic is impossible - never enough. Please don't say something is easy when it clearly is not

  9. A fairly easy level indeed, good tip to collect the chocolade first followed by some combos to clear the licorice.

  10. Here we go again, not easy on ipad. Not enough licorice is generated. Hope this is not another gltich!!

  12. That post was not mine- I just got here and I DON'T use foul language!! Please stop posting trool- you are very offensive!!

  13. I found cookie's comment misleading. I used a sprinkle from my booster stash and then worked to open up sides quickly but not detonate them , thinking I would get color bombs to finish off . Not so! You have to Win the game first! Then apparently they detonate?!&@? So on IPad licorice continues to be the problem!! I can't figure out how to generate more- there's no logic only random when you open a mystery and I've found its mostly chocolate! So it's looking more like that'lucky' board!

  14. Fairly easy level??
I think you mean an impossible level !!

  15. Definitely a unique level. First try I got down to needing one licorice. Thought this isn't so bad. Should have used a lollipop then. Now I either get enough licorice or chocolate but not both.

  16. Why no new levels on iPad today (Wednesday)?

  17. I was able to make a sprinkle and used a hand switch to match with a stripe. That helped a lot with the sides. Used one lolli to get the final licorice.

  18. Tried choc and stripe/wrap booster to open. They didn't appear on screen. Played anyways to see if they would show up later. Didn't happen. Another game was lucky to get two choc balls together. Still needed to use one swap, 9 gold bars for 5 extra moves, and one hammer. Finished with one star.
It's great king gives us opportunities to collect boosters via the wheel and especially sugar drops for boosters and gold bars. Save and use them strategically for these types of levels and have fun!

  20. This is not an easy level! All the recent levels are stupidly hard, even the ones that aren't deemed as such! Boring

  21. Another 1607.... Tough episode!!

  22. I'm sure a lucky board is involved but it does help to work from the top so you don't explode all the check candies at once. It also helps to form sprinkle balls to take out colors on the outside. It's your only hope to get enough of what you need. Chocolate is easy. Licorice not so much and thus the lucky board comment. Good luck.

  23. Ok, I am surprised nobody has posted an actual useful tip here. I thought this level was virtually impossible the first few times I tried it. Then I counted the check candies and realized that I couldn't let very many of them get swallowed up by chocolate, or I wouldn't have enough left at the end to get the licorice. I then realized that I was doomed if chocolate grew out of control on the sides, so I decided to try to get enough chocolate to grow in the middle so by the time I got the sides unlocked, I wouldn't need any chocolate. Voila. First try. No boosters. I hope this helps someone!

  24. Finding it impossible to get enough licorice on the iPad!

  25. Agree licorice difficult on iPad but managed to let it build up then used hammers to get two colour bombs together and collected it on last move.

  26. One of the things that helped me thru this level was remembering that whereas you cannot move the chocolate boosters around to make matches you can, however, move the licorice around. This helped me a lot to get the required number of licorice.

  27. I didn't think this was easy at all. I got close - needed 4 licorice - many times, but as they say "close only counts w horseshoes and hand grenades". I could't figure out how using boosters at the beginning of this game would help. If you use a check booster where does it go on a board full of checks? And wiping out a bunch of the middle checks at once with stripe/wraps or color balls doesn't help you much either. You'd get a bunch of chocolate. I took the advice of the poster who advised playing from the top down in the middle and played the middle of the board before I opened up any of the sides. I ended up needing one more move to collect my last five licorice and the play was on the board so I bought the extra moves on this one. Not a fun level.

  28. Terrible level! Not easy at all. With more & more levels like this my CC playing time is very little. Pity.

  29. really hard…wasting money and bonuses

  30. This isn't a easy level. Doesn't seem to get enough licorice mainly all chocolate

  31. This level is sneaky difficult. It looks easy starting out, but as others have noted, getting the licorice is hard. Especially with the chocolate eating up the check-marked candy along the sides and bottom before they can be opened to (hopefully) provide more licorice, of which there is never enough. I haven't broken down and started with a bonus yet.

  32. Impossible level on iPad and iPhone. Can't get enough licorice. Chocolates easy. Guess should look at the positive side, can accumulate a lot of boosters. Waiting for lucky board but it's been quite some time. Ugh!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Impossible. Don't waste any boosters, it won't help. Just keep playing until you get the board that just gives it to you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Whoever said this was a fairly easy level ... I'm missing something here. The licorice is ridiculously tough to complete. I'm beginning to think my only hope is to somehow get back-to-back sprinkles twice on the board, one to unlock the sides and a second to clean up the side licorice.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I found getting the licorice to be very difficult, so I used three lollipop hammers to get the last 3 I needed.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Where is the licorice? Several times I've cleared the chocolate with around 15 moves to go but the special candies just keep producing more. Not a licorice in any of them and I still need about ten.

  37. Go to the walkthrough and comments of CC mom, you find two trolls. Named Dennis and Silvie, haha, they do it in one or two times yeh and i believe in santa! Same is here, one or two bills who want us believe you can get this level in a few tries! How sick is Candy crush? Very sick
