Candy Crush Saga Level 1687

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1687 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
All you have to do to clear level 1687 is to clear the two cake bombs, the first one will clear all the licorice and the second one will get the ingredients down and out of the exits.
There is no need to clear the blockers, the ingredients don't go down the middle section.
Clear as much of the cakes as you can using stripes and stripe/wrap combos and this will unlock the coconut wheel from the marmalade. Once the coconut wheel is uncovered just switch it vertically to clear a large chunk of the cake bombs.

And how, pray tell, is one supposed to "just" clear the cake bombs when the game only gives you useless 3-candy matches?

Pardon me, just gives one useless 3-candy matches. This game has ruined my patience and is now starting in on my grammar.

One big fix! no choice at all until half way through moves!

If you have extra coconut wheel it will help. I tried two times without wheel with no luck. Then used coconut wheel, cleared the one already on the board and got it first try.

I agree with aboved comments choice of only 3 moves each time and most of them useless. Its an impossible level, tried coconut booster but no help as am forced to use it with 3 moves...impossible

Coconut wheel worked!

Coconut wheel did not work. I've now used 5 so no more, thank you. I'll just have to sit tight and wait for that lucky board. Not much in the way of fun this particular game.

Used coconut wheel booster and reset it until it had the max cake hit of three rows down. Took two tries and got it the second time.

Real Bill. Jist got here and passed 1st attempt. Used coco wheel booster as some mentioned. Worked like a charm. Also got lucky with 2 chocolate sprinkles together. Gl

Tried several times without boosters and got nowhere. I tried the coconut wheel and the second attempt worked. Thanks for the tip.

Wish I hadn't used all my hammers on the last level. Coconut wheel seems to get me close, but not close enough.

Not liking this one!

Guess I won't be reaching that treasure chest 😕

I tried 2 wheels. Guess what, they were at the top and only using them was the choice. Of course, they did nothing at all to help clear By the time I got the one unlocked it was the last move. This is not a fun game at all. I just have to play until the "good" board comes. No skill involved on this one. Boring and frankly frustrating.

This is one of the dullest levels of all time!Tried the coconut wheel, but as can't reset on pc you have to take it where your given.

Actually there IS a need to clear the cream blockers Ms Cookie. Otherwise I can't get enough colours to make a stripe or wrap and I need to get to the coconut wheel. Egads!

After reshuffeling the game stops everytime. This is very frustrting.

I agree with the person about the reshuffling and the game stopping! Can't get past two moves and game over!

When you start the level with a booster and you don't like where the booster is just close the game without making a mode and start the level again. You will NOT loose the booster and the board will be reshuffled. Keep closing and opening until you like where the booster is. Am I the only one left that doesn't use booster the first 10-20 or so times I try a level? I enjoy trying to win without boosters.

Gotit 5th try. Made a stripe and a wrap and it was over. NO BOOSTERS NEEDED

How do you reset?

Got it first try fuckwits!

The coconut wheel worked for me. As one poster noted, clearing the blockers will give more opportunities for making stripes, but there just aren't enough moves, and most of the moves we are offered don't help anything. Fortunately, I got a second coconut wheel later in the game to finish off the second pie.

Very difficult to almost impossible level. Need a lucky board like the video. About ready to give up. No fun.

After the comments I wasn't looking forward to this level but I was very very lucky to make a striped then a wrapped next to each other in the first two moves, then another striped. The coconut wheel was freed and setting that off cleared the board with 21 moves left. Three stars.

I can't reset on the PC but I would suggest trying a striped and wrapped booster and resetting util they are next to each other. Good luck.

Yeah, but most of the time the wheel goes on its own and in the wrong direction cause the only move there is, blows it.
