Candy Crush Saga Level 1705

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1705 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Yet another dual task level. You need to collect 3 ingredients and clear the jelly.
Level 1705 is made difficult by the lack of available moves due to the board being almost covered in chocolate!.
Obviously the first task is to clear as much chocolate as possible to give you more space to work.
Work at the bottom if you can, as this may cause cascades which will clear more chocolate without using too many moves
You'll need some stripes or wraps to unlock the locked cells, and as the board begins to open up things will get a lot easier.
You can expect to lose a few lives on level 1705, because you will likely get some games where your only moves are near the top and completely wasted.
You may find a coconut wheel booster useful as it may unlock some of the locked cells early in the game and so give you more chances to make useful moves.

The chocolate levels are sometimes the MOST frustrating levels ever designed. In this one, the chocolate chokes the board and quickly prevents any new candy from cascading down. Grrrr, right? Well, about my tenth try, I used a color bomb AND a coconut wheel. On the third move, they were side-by-side. BAM! It nearly cleared every single chocolate, and a ton of the jelly. It was all over but the shoutin'! Over 305,000, three stars, and a ton of moves left. Lucky me. Moveon.yippee!

Got this one on the first try! Must have been my lucky board 'cause that doesn't happen often. I heart CC

I don't have the option of using a coconut wheel, only fish, colour bomb or striped/wrapped combo. I'm playing on an IPad.

I don't have the option of coconut either. I am on cell phone I have been at this since Wednesday and not once have I even Gome vlose. I have used everything I have for specials and still nothing
.I think this is where I may have to quit as this is not possible in 20 moves. I'm going to miss this game but one more day and that's it for me

No coconut wheel here either. Read the comments here first. First game, I quit because the chocolate was just ridiculous and had taken over most of the bottom half of the board as I only had 3 candy moves and wasn't able to make any combos. Second try, I did start with all 3 boosters and got it with the help of a hand switch on the second last move. Only 2 stars but happy to move on. Good luck everyone!

Wow I thought there would be more comments as I'm finding this tough to beat without boosters (I have none, only a few hammers) :( I guess I'll post for the lucky board!!

I can't use a coconut wheel either! Probably yet another level that is easy on a PC! Tricky level!

Used all three boosters. Reset until a stripe and wrap could be matched to take out a bunch of chocolate without taking out the sprinkle. Kept the chocolate in check until I could match the sprinkle with a stripe. Made a few more moves so I would have the color of the stripe on the board, then matched it.

I'm playing on a phone also and found this 'easy' level harder than the last two labeled hard by King. I got close a few times after trying a fish and color bomb together but finally resorted to adding the stripe/wrap booster (I don't have a ton of those so use them sparingly). I reset a few times until I got the color bomb and stripe next to one another and had several candies the same color as the stripe on the board. If you're playing on a mobile device it's pretty easy to get your boosters where you want them because there are so few open candies. Anyway, that did it. Finished with 6 moves to spare, moving on.

Wow....by no means am I bragging, but I guess I got my lucky board on my first try. Good luck players.

After 1704 I didn't want to be here forever. Thanks for the sprinkle/stripe tip. Finished after 4th move.

Stripe/wrap booster did it for me. And playing on android was much easier to pass than on pc.

nowhere near on android with no boosters. first try on macbook with coconut wheel, even without the option to reset and place it where I want it. Glad I got it but don't know why different platforms are different. not given the coconut wheel option on android

I had no trouble with this level and got it first time with three stars. At the beginning there was only one move possible and it was at the top. To begin with I just worked away at clearing one side and ignored the chocolate on the other. Once there is room on the board it was easy to make stripes, wraps and colour bombs. Towards the end colour bombs were forming without any effort from me. One of them with a wrapped destroyed the one remaining stubborn cased chocolate and job done.

I was wondering what's happening with coconut wheels as they seem to be redundant now that the cherry/coconut levels have been mixed with jelly
