Candy Crush Saga Level 1724

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1724 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You need to collect 50 each of green and purple candies as well as 10 striped candies in only 13 moves!.
Don't worry about the colours, they will be collected as you play. Concentrate on making striped candies.
If you make matches under the key dispensers the keys will drop down for you to match. You shouldn't really need the stripes under the locks, but opening the locks will give you a bigger playing area so you can make more combos. There are also wrapped candies under the locks, so opening the locks quickly will give you the best chance of passing level 1724.
Once the locks are open you should get good cascades which could easily complete the level for you in just one or two moves, so don't worry if it looks like you are running out of moves, you don't need many.

Another shocking level.. How do you even make 10 stripes with only 13 moves!? Luck luck luck! "Pay or quit"... I think it is all boiling down to that now. One ridiculous level after another.. They don't need/want to please us anymore if we don't pay up... and the fact is, many of us don't (I have never spent a dime).

Don't see the point of these levels. 5 tries so far and not even managed to get a key out.
What is the point of giving out games that are 100% fails ?

3 years candy crushing. This level is ridiculously difficult. No longer enjoyable Time to delete Candy Crush.

Well, never say never.. It is STILL possible. I think that is what we love/hate about CC really. I did it by starting with a color bomb booster.. possibly by chance, a stripe dropped just right next to it after a few moves.. and there you have it, 10 stripes done. The rest is purely academic afterwards. Good luck guys.

The least Candy Crush could have done was label this a hard level! How is 1724 not difficult?

Goodbye CCS, you've lost your mind, again!

Just posting for luck. Can't get anywhere near done in 13 moves. It would take a miracle and the luckiest board ever.

Anonymous said...

Used all 3 boosters twice. First time was a waste. Second time I reset till the stripe/wrap were together in the center. That took out a bunch and fortunately didn't also set off the sprinkle ball. Was able to put it next to a stripe which got me a lot more. Then one more sprinkle ball appeared and fi used it to inishthe green. There were enough moves left to finish the purple. I do not see this being done without all the boosters.

anonymous37 said...

I used a sprinkle plus wrapped/stripe. Kept resetting the board till the sprinkle/stripe were close enough to swap once. I passed but then the board FROZE on me so I didn't pass. GRRRRRRRR

Anonymous said...

With great difficulty passed the previous level to land up in a 13 moves level with lot of things to collect. Sooooooooo boring the cc is now. Don't like it

The keys only unlock wrapped and striped candies. These alone aren't enough.
The hardest thing to get is enough striped candies.
You need to combine colour bomb with a striped candy. Green or purple is best but have just done this level twice once combining with purple and then with blue.
It is just luck though to get a colour bomb next to a stripe

Oh dear, another difficult level. Have I the patience? I don't know. Good luck everyone.

I can't believe it, I got through this level using two lollipop boosters. First, I got two sprinkle balls next to each other using one lollipop and that opened up the board. Then another sprinkle appeared. I was able to use another lollipop to create a stripe next to the sprinkle ball. Then, had a stripe/wrap combo appear that cleared the color candies needed with five moves left! If I can get the lucky board, so can you. Keep trying.

Anonymous said...

A stripe and sprinkle bomb reset until they are together and it was over! There's a Good reason we are given all these boosters, quit playing or quit whinging! Still loving CC myself.

If you have a color bomb and stripe/wrap combo booster, AND are playing on a mobile device that allows you to reset without losing a life, this might work...with a little luck. Reset until the bomb is next to the stripe and swap. Make sure there are enough of the same color as the stripe to fill your stripe order and clear a lot of the blockers on the board. Carefully proceed, making your moves low on the board for maximum cascade effect and collecting green and purple candies. I was able to pass this level the first time using this strategy. Of course, I lost a few lives before realizing it couldn't be done without boosters. Not by me, anyway. I, too, do not pay for boosters, but collect the freebies given along the way. Good luck, and happy crushing!!

2 years playing this game and I have never spent a dime. So, it eludes me why you people bitch. We're on level 1724, and some of you threaten to quit? You're probably the same dorks that manage to finally pick up a girl, take her home, get naked, and start having sex, only to give up if you don't orgasm after 5 minutes .

Geez stop the whinging and whining some of you. You will eventually pass...we always do or we wouldn't be up to this level. It's supposed to be challenging that's why we play not so we can pass first time every time. It used to be good to get tips from here now all ya get is the sooky sooky la la's throwing tantys.

Anonymous said...

The way I finally passed was to use a chocolate sprinkle and position it near the center so there would be a chance of lining it up with a stripe once the keys were unlocked. It is also necessary to reset until you get a move set up where a key drops the first move which sets up the others to fall immediately. So chocolate sprinkle center of board along with a move to release the first key. It also depended on luck to get the number of colors which I got the last one with a hammer. Whew, passed finally.

What does "reset the board" mean!!! I've used all my boosters & not even close. How do you "reset" the board?

Anonymous said...

On mobile you can back out of the game to set up a new board before you make first move.

Anonymous said...

Well, I didn't think this level was possible, but somehow it worked out without any boosters or trying really hard...it all fell into place and took out the last stripe with just a regular move...sometimes I'm surprised at the results...

Shay said...

This level is hard! And impossible without using boosters.. I used my sprinkle and striped candy boosters and kept resetting until they were next to each other... I felt like a cheater doing it, but there isn't really any other choice? So that's the only advice I can give... It gave me 8 stripes and cleared a lot of blockers, then I just had to take my time to make the right moves- good luck y'all :)

Anonymous said...

Got it after a few times when I got a few keys and also a colour bomb next to a stripe. Then finished the last few coloured ones. Luck! I am glad as 1723 was such a pain. Grace from DU

Another 'wait for the lucky board level' - where's the boringometer?

Anonymous said...

Ok, I too had by stuck on this hard level for a few days and tried advice above of using one of me free booster sprinklies with a stripe together and after managing to get them next to one another it fulfilled my required stripes but I couldn't get close to the number of greens and purples I also needed.... So I tried again this time using a sprinkly next to a packet, it took a few restarts to make the screen start with them next to each other, but it worked, cleared the board of blockers and was then able to make the required stripes... It is possible and I never buy any boosters these are all from the daily spin wheel or magic chests... Good luck, Rosie UK

This is now labeled as a hard level on the iPhone but I found it to be really interesting too. I didn't use any boosters because there are so few moves it seemed like I'd just be wasting them. And I did use a bunch of lives but again the game is so short that it's not like it took tons of time. I got really close several times - just down to one or two stripes so I knew it was doable. Here's what worked for me. In all of the times I got close and in the game I won, I started with at least one move (preferably 2) right on the top of the belt under the key dispenser. Unlike Ms Cookie I didn't make plays on the bottom of the board unless there were no plays available on the belt. I found that the quicker I could release the necessary keys and get the stripe/wrap combos on the board, the closer I came to winning. I didn't worry about collecting the colors, just making as many stripes as possible. In the last game I was able to get a stripe and color bomb together (You can't use up a lot of moves setting up plays. It took 2 moves for me to do this and I really considered using a hammer instead of taking the extra moves) and that more than finished up my remaining stripes. Also, if you are at all close to winning, don't give up just because you only have a move or two left. Sometimes the cascades at the end will give you a few stripes as well as your needed colors. I hope this helps, good luck to all!

Anonymous said...

Seriously....with this amount of moves...very depressing..

Anonymous said...

Oh please King....stop ruining a game that used to be fun and challenging. We have come this far, but now it seems we just have to wait for a lucky board.

Anonymous said...

So I completed all the orders...wasted boosters and the game froze....bs!

Joan said...

Much too difficult with so few moves, guess I have to wait for a colour bomb and lucky board again!

Anonymous said...

I agree with Joan. This is definitely ridiculous. Lots of boosters needed. A lucky board is better.

Anonymous said...

I set off a color bomb to hit a red candy under the key dispenser, it hit all the other red candies and left that one. Methinks very sus.

Andulamb said...

"You shouldn't really need the stripes under the locks"??? How did you write that with a straight face? You need to make (and set off) ten striped candies in 13 moves. And you DID use the striped candies under the locks in your how-to video. So how could you possibly claim that we SHOULDN'T NEED THEM???

CCAddict said...

Ughhh...playing all day.Want to try the sprinkle stripe combination but dont have a stripe booster....and not winning any in sugar drop replay...really now....

Annonymous said...

Lol. What is the bippity bop is this. Haha. What a board!

Annonymous said...

I threw 3 boosters at it after posting the bippity bop comment and passed lol.

Anonymous said...

Only 13 moves and yet rather tedious. Guess I'll just break out the usual color bomb/striped-wrapped boosters and start resetting. Yawn.

Anonymous said...

I'd like Ms Cookie to put how many hours she plays before she gets these "magic" boards. Might make the rest of feel not so bad.

Anonymous said...

What is Ms Cookie waffling on about?? "You shouldn't really need the stripes under the locks"??? Really?? My ass!!

Dowerland said...

This is ridiculous, no keys for the whole 13 moves, any stripe move is possibly done twice, no more. I love CC but could easily leave it behind with levels such as this.

laura said...

I usually don't post negative comments because I love the challenge of CC. Today I must say this level makes no sense.I can't imagine what a lucky board looks like on this one.

I could deal with hating the last timed level because I knew eventually it would fall my way, but this one feels like a pointless slog. Very little strategy involved. Levels like these are helping me wean myself from the game.

Lorraine said...

OMG how are you supposed to pass this level. Never had any keys yet. Also it tells me there treasure chest to reach but they not on the board. Was hoping to get couple hours free lives.

Anonymous said...

All the games are becoming pretty boring. Not much fun playing when you need to wait on a lucky board. I think King is just in it for the money now. They won't be getting any from me.. I've enjoyed this game for a couple of years but it is getting close to finding something else to do with my time. It was fun while it lasted.

Jon In The Rock said...

What a joke of a level. What's next, collect 5 color bombs in 2 moves??

CandyMadness said...

I now take 'hard level' as meaning they want you to spend money. I used to come here to get tips on strategy but lately the only strategies are 'wait for a lucky board' or 'use booster X'. What's the point, King?

Anonymous said...

Can someone tell me the point of this level. 13 moves absolutely ridiculous. All the hard levels you need to keep playing till the right board comes along and let's you win the game. There is no fun and with so few mores not even a challenge except not to throw the device you are playing on. Candy crush used to be fun, relaxing to play, now it's boring. Oh well I stopped playing for 4 months because of these type of games, so it's time to take another break I think.

Anonymous said...

Another boring level determined strictly by luck, not strategy. Is it really getting that hard to come up with a level that can be challenging but fun??? Waiting for another lucky board once again...

Anonymous said...

How do you "reset" without loosing a life?

Anonymous said...

BEFORE MAKING ANY MOVES go back out by clicking gold arrow at bottom left of screen and then the red button to exit. You can do this as many times as you want until the board is lined up like you want it (color bomb beside a stripe if you have those boosters to choose). Good luck.

Anonymous said...

This is a joke right?...

Krusher said...

I have just surprised myself by passing this one ith a couple of moves to spare. I was planning to to the "reset trick" later in my Ipad, but just thought I'd have a few goes on the pc at lunchtime. And I passed, not by targetting the key drops, but by breaking the bottom blockers. Admitedly, my first move was to create a colour bomb, which helped, but once that went off, the stripes formed themselves in the cascades.

Anonymous said...

This isn't going well. Five tries and a total of five striped candies, three of them in the same 'lucky' board. I can't reset on the PC so I have to make do with what I'm given but the only match at the start of the game is either in the middle of the top or the bottom and neither move give me another in a decent place. I can't break trough the blockers to clear a big enough space to make stripes or sprinkles and I'm lucky if I can match one key. Stupid level!

Anonymous said...

I was sick of getting a maximum of three stripes and nowhere near the number of green and purple jellies. I would have been here forever if I hadn't used a stripe/wrapped and a check booster. Level completed but only just on the last move. Fortunately I managed to make a sprinkle and drop a striped on top so that took care of the stripes but I still have to work to get the colours.

Anonymous said...

Agree every level is on luck since they sold out new owners trying make Ron of money gotta be crazy to pay to play wth! All there games are money money money not mw duuuummmmbbb! Losing lots people only passnrime when bored found new game never asks for a dime more fun!

Anonymous said...

It's highly impossible unless u spend. Bye!!!!! Cc

Anonymous said...

This level is ridiculous! How can this possibly be done in 13 tries! Time to delete candy crush!

junebug119 said...

This works! I used one hand switch to get the bomb next to the stripe, and voila, everything fell into place. Now go collect more special boosters for later!

didueverdoubtme said...

It is classified as hard

Wendy Miller said...

I figured it was impossible but got it after reading these posts. Used a color bomb, got a stripe and with luck got through it. Just a matter of time before you get the right board. Believe me!
