Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1753 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
As with all timed levels the secret to passing is getting extra time candies to fall. To do this you need to make cascades and to make cascades you need to work close to the bottom of the board.
Take a second to look at the board before every move and look for moves which will lead to other matches being made without using a move. Look especially for colour bomb patterns and use these to collect the extra time candies from the top right.
However before you switch a colour bomb to collect time candies check you actually need the time, if the timer is full the extra time candies will be wasted as the timer will not go past full.
Keep working near the bottom as much as possible and if you haven't yet read our tips on beating timed levels you may find them helpful.
I did not find level 1753 especially hard to complete and I am not the best player of timed levels, so if I can do it so can you!

Well, this has to be the most frustrating of them all but I'm sure I'll get through in the end! As for King I think they are making a big mistake in marketing terms. I don't mind paying for boosters, why shouldn't I pay a bit for something that gives me pleasure. However, 1753 doesn't need any boosters or lives so if it takes a month then - yippee, I won't be spending any money with them - what a daft commercial decision on their part! Wouldn't employ them to market my business!!! Wake up King. Denz

With all the complaints about this level, it looks like you don't give a crap, King, about all your dedicated players. This level needs to be revised!
Yet another morning on 1753 and not even close to 60000,
Over 3 weeks on this level and not even close enough to consider buying extra time, how do King hope to make money out of this when not getting anywhere near?
What are the best combinations to score points on this? sometimes seem to have used all combinations but still a low score, other times not played for long but score is higher!!! Crazy and time to leave soon...
I've enjoyed the game till now but this is impossible. 2 weeks and just waiting for a lucky board. Is that playing? I don't think so. Probably time to call it quits. It's sad because I've enjoyed the game, now I'm getting angry. Time to go for delete.
The meaning if gaming is using your brains and speed to get a good result. This level has NOTHING to do with gaming. Its onky WAITING for a lucky board. King you are on the wrong way with this kind of impossible shit levels. I think I quit.

KING is cheating by giving impossible levels. I think they are mad over there, Lets all boycot this game.
Come on King, this level is putting so many people off CC... Why not just reduce the target down to 20,000 or 30,000 and then people can move on.. People that have got this far know how to play and should not be playing for weeks on end getting nowhere near... Hope you listen to the comments you are getting about this level. You have made levels easier in the past after receiving comments, why not do it again or are you really wanting people to forget playing CC?

After more than 1 month on this level the time has finally come to move onto a different game. CC has been fun and has cost me a few pounds in the 3 years I have been playing. Sorry to be leaving but patience can only be stretched so far.... Why can CC not reduce the pass level to help us regular players to pass this obstacle? Twice in 1000+ attempts got to just over 50000 but still best part of 10000 short. Don't know if these were my lucky boards and I fell short..

Have been playing cc since January 2015 and enjoyed it up until 1753. Have been trying to pass this level for weeks now but giving it up if I cant get past it over this weekend. Just fed up of it. Bye bye cc.
It took several days, but I finally cleared the round by only 40 points. I used the chocolate ball and the wrap/stripe bonuses to start with, but had done that before without it helping. This time I kept getting opportunities for making more combos, so I guess I finally had the lucky board. Good luck, everyone.
Passed it at f....ing last.Only tips are dont use speckled as a combo,use asap,work from the bottom and ignore the bonus timers at right as you will get most of these cuz of the speckled. Good luck and see you on the other side!
First and last comment, after two weeks of efforts I can't even come near to 60.000 pts... this time i'm sure I can't go on. I'm sorry I liked this play so much!
I agree with all the negative comments. I can't use boosters or strategy to get past this one. It is really discouraging and the hopelessness of passing makes me want to quit.
Not been near CC for two weeks and not missing it, Don't keep on waiting for a Special Board, there are other games out there that will be more enjoyable....

I just can't even get close. Have made lots of combos and sprinkle ball but still no success. Tired and bored with these timed levels. Come on King give us all a break.
Over this level. Been on for days. Get plenty of boosters but still cant get close. At least stop the time from ticking diwn while cascading. I'm going back to my other games this is ridiculous.
I have even on this level for 3 months now and have only come close a couple of times, needless to say I hate this level. I am 73 years old, and I just hope I pass this one while I am still alive.
Just awful. If King's advertising revenue is based on number of players, why would they do something like this level to run loyal players away? It seems counter intuitive. Maybe they have so many newbies (who play 10 levels and quit) that they do not care. But just like the i-phone, that stream will eventually dwindle and by then they will have alienated all of their old faithful players. It's a shame.
Another level that discriminates against the elderly and those with physical impairments.
I haven't gotten the lucky board yet so I came here for advice. One poster said he had bought extra moves twice and then the board froze. This happened to me at a previous timed level (which I detest) and I sent a message to King. They reimbursed me 30 gold bars to make up for the incident. Let's all start complaining when these frozen boards happen.
I am normally pretty good with timed levels....I seem to have no clue what gives you more points in this level. Dropping plus 5's are random. Color bombs seem futile. Even combos seem to only get a few hundred points. Would imagine that I am averaging 30,000 points and am losing patience....but if you are reading this you understand my frustration level. And the crashing when it is going well and I am close is for the birds.
I hate timed levels the most and this was one of the worst. Went back and forth between tablet and computer off and on for about a week. Finally got the lucky board on the computer and finished it. The larger screen seems to help see the moves better, and I used no boosters. The next two levels were really easy and finished them on the first try. So hang in there. JAS
This took me 2.5 days, with a free two hour period. Doable without boosters if you really pay attention and make your speckles and wraps. Use speckles with a wrap for points. If you combine a speckle and stripe, the +5 turns to a stripe and you do not get extra time. Watch the clock and set off a speckle with a +5 color before the time runs out if you were saving it to match with a wrap.
You wonder just how the economics of this work. Advertisers pay King based on player activity. So here are the most loyal and proficient players and they are leaving in droves because this is such a no-brainer frustrating level. I guess King gets enough new players (who quit after 10 games) to replace us but sooner or later that will cease working and King will change this level (and a couple of others).
Not to mention this is another of those levels that is discriminatory for anyone with hand or eye impairments. That must really be frustrating - - to get this far and be discounted so dramatically.

This level is unappeasable!!!! Im well over 100 times playing and havent bin close. The person who made this level needs to be beat severely!! Its just a scam to get people to buy boosters...

This game is all about waiting for the lucky board - seems like almost every other level is the same. Not fun any more, wish I could find another game that's good, but no luck in finding one. Think my CC days are coming to an end......
Having got this far I am sure I know how to play CC but I am completely lost with this level 1753. How on earth does anyone get to 60,000+? Been on this level for 6 weeks and never got over 50,000. Have used speckles and stripes/wraps boosters but all to no avail...
Can King PLEASE PLEASE reduce the required pass score down to 30,000 asap?
King, you know you have done it before so why not now? Do you really want everyone who gets to this level to pack it in?

I suggest tar and feathers for the designer of 1753. No matter what you do the points just don't add up. Even clearing all the timer +5's does nothing. After 1752 levels thinking about throwing in the towel. Probably a good thing in the long run as this game eats up a lot of time........
I'm out of here because of level 1753. My enthusiasm for candy crush died down. I don't want to continue any further.
Finally got this one...no boosters. got about 4 color balls and got to 59,700 pts. had to spend a buck to get an additional 15 sec and was able to go over the top. got it on the PC while most of my play is on Android. trick is to take your time and don't miss any combos or 5 in a row. play from the bottom and sooner or later it will happen.
King need to reduce the passmark down to 30,000 as far too many long standing players are finding it impossible to get anywhere near 60,000. Been waiting for lucky level for over 6 weeks but not anywhere near so far. may have had lucky board but nothing over 50,000 so far. After 3+ years playing CC very sorry to leave...

Give you a big hint about Candy Crush. I just spent over a month trying to pass 1753 and not getting close. And I a pretty good at time levels. If you get to 58,000 spend the pennies for the extra time. Even this strategy took more than one try. First time, it shuffled for the extra 15 extra seconds and I got no matches. This morning I got to 58860 and spent the 99cents to be able to move on. Happy Crushing!
As everyone has said-unfair & glitched level!! Have only gotten close once (57,800)-was going to use gold just to pass the damn thing but didn't have enough!! :( seems like 1/2 of us are still waiting while the rest are giving up...hard to believe (not) that king hasn't "fixed" this so we can move on...waiting for that lucky board...tap,tap,tap......
1753 should be called candy crash. It keeps crashing on my iPad and yes my software is right up to date. Fed up of trying and getting nowhere.
I can't get over 50k and that was my very best usually its between 20-40... Super hard. I've tried starting with disco ball, it helps, but it's not enough.. Even with four or five it's tricky... I'm stumped. I've played about 20 times already and it's frustrating. I wish I had some helpful hints. I'm always looking for disco setups and working near bottom but, I'm still not there...
Reducing to 50k would be really helpful and still very hard...
I've been on it for Weeks! Started playing Gummy Drop instead. Similar but more fun.
Finally succeeded after almost 7 weeks.. Started game with a Sprinkle ball booster and used plenty of hammers or hand swaps to work on getting further 6 or 7 sprinkle balls during my allocated time. Set sprinkle ball off once I had got one and then concentrated on creating next sprinkle ball by using hammers or Hand switching boosters. Didn't buy any of these boosters, just collected them as I played. This gave me a total in excess of 79,000..

Stupid timed level where the only suggested strategy is to wait for a lucky board. What's the point. I've made heaps of sprinkles and combos and used all the 5+ until they stop coming. Only come here to check that everyone else hates it too.
I agree. I've had games that have gone on for ages, had lots of combos and colour bombs, collected all the timed candies. Often get around 40k, once got 57k+ but it seems rigged to send no more timed candies when you get close. Stupid pointless level. No strategy, boring.
Ms Cookie's tips are just generic timed level tips, nothing that helps this stupid level in particular.

The tip on creating cascades helped. Got to 57000+ and needed 2 $0.99 extensions to clear it. Best of luck. Stay cool folks. Just keep in mind these are like the programs that run the slot machines - it will pay when it wants to.
Why no extra time candies drop while you are playing level 1753?Just appear the ones on the right of the board... it is impossible to pass it in this way!!!!
And another board that's as boring as watching paint dry. Most of the games in this level have been tedious and no fun at all. There used be skill involved, it used to be a fun challenge, but now you have to keep playing a level over and over again till eventually a board appears that lets you complete it. Also why is king putting the hard levels next to each other? I had 2 hours free play on this level and still never got close. Oh well back to playing less and doing something more meaningful in my life. Just one point we all moan about how bad levels are obviously King never take notice so why don't we all stop playing.
i don't believe there is a lucky board for this level. Time to take another hiatus from this game. The last one lasted over 7 months. This one will be much longer. I can take it or leave it at this point.

After almost 2 years of enjoying and being challenged by this game, i nearly cried when I made the very difficult decision to delete it tonight. I have never been so frustrated and angered by a level. Having played it countless times over the last week and a half and reaching 50000 perhaps once or twice, i'm done waiting for that "lucky" board. King has sucked all the joy out of playing this game with their greed to make people buy boosters and their refusal to make the level easier after so many complaints from loyal customers. Just want to say that all the timed levels I have played are mainly down to luck, and are therefore very boring. Each time I get stuck for a while on a timed level, I think I might stop playing candy crush, they are so so boring. Please can they be removed. There is very little imagination involved in them.
Just started this level. VERY discouraged by comments. Looks like multitudes are jumping ship on this one. I'll give it two days, then back to real life.

I have played six times and not one extra time candy fell! What the heck??
I would be curious to hear if anyone who has never paid King any real money has passed this level. If I owned this game, I might be tempted to get rid of the free riders, i.e. anyone whose card I didn't have on file. Me, I'm a free rider, and wondering whether to continue to try, or if it's a waste of time.

After three years of thoroughly enjoying this game I'm finally thinking of giving it up. I've been on this level for a month and haven't ever come close to getting enough points. I only play one game a day now as I'm fed up trying. It was fun while it lasted but this timed version really sucks.
Brenda here. After several weeks, I have FINALLY passed this round. Just playing the bottom of the board wasn't working so I thought I'd change my strategy. I gathered some sugarbdrops and landed 4 changing hands and 2 hammers. I slowed down a little and really watched for places to make sprinkle bombs. I used 4 hands to make them, and made one more with a hammer. I used each sprinkle bomb on a different color to use all the 5+ in the upper right. Only one star but VERY HAPPY to get past this level. Good luck everybody.....and remember, don't waste your money. Hands and hammers are free with sugardrops and they can get you through a lot of tough levels. I'm off to find the next idiotic level!!

This level does not bring time candies for me and so it's impossible to pass.
After making several cascades at a time, I am yet to see one time candy drop. I have played it over 50 times yet no extra time candies dropping, just the ones at the left. Is this an error on my downloaded app or is there something I am not doing right? Somebody help.
I don't get any time candies dropping I have totally cleared the top amd they are the only ones I have no new ones so impossible to do it
Never saw so many frustrated comments for a level before. I hate timed levels. Don't seem to get close and not getting a lucky board like in the video. Obviously King doesn't read these comments or they would have done something with this impossible level. Ready to quit!
Finished this level after trying for a week. Key is to get 5-6 sprinkle balls. Dont combine them together this does nothing to get more points. Keep track of the clock and use the sprinkles to add more time. Like stated above, adding 10 seconds to a clock at 1:15 isn't going to help except to waste the other 5 seconds. It is possible to get the 5-6 sprinkle boards when the Candy Crush god has smiled upon you. I think i used one sprinkle ball booster to start the game. Also, dont choke like i did several times when i knew the clock was ticking down. In fact, turn the sound down so it doesnt put you in to panic mode. I was at the point of either give up entirely or buy more boosters. Also, depends on which board you are given as usual. Sometimes using the boosters are no help at all. Didnt like this level at all because even after you clear the extra time, you arent given anymore. I think this is one of the hardest levels on Candy Crush so far.
Been on this 1753 since 9-23-16 it is now 10-1-16...really sick of King...supposed to be fun and HARD...NOT IMPOSSIBLE! Bored and disgusted in Houston!
No matter how many cascades I make, I don't get any extra time candies on the left side of the board. It's the same on android and kindle. I usually do quite well on timed levels but this one is a stinker!

You never need to buy lives. Just go to settings, forward the date 24 hrs then reopen candy crush. You can then go back to change dates again, of just do it when you finish playing. Can play for hours that way - still need to be lucky though!!
I've been at this game for three and a half years. This is turning out to be the hardest and most frustrating level; I've been stuck for a week. 60,000 points sets the bar ridiculously high. 45-50,000 would still be extremely difficult, but a less frustrating goal.

Never have seen so many posts for a level. Been on this level longer than any other. Very hard and not receiving a lucky board like the video shows. Frustrating and no real strategy. About to give up. No fun anymore.
This is most frustrating. Impossible! the only bonus time is to the right-you never see any after those are gone! I only want to play a game, not spend my life on one level. This could quite possibly be my last candy crush level.

The example at the top shows extra time dropping from the top. I've been playing this level every day for 2 weeks. Have NEVER seen extra time drop. Done...time to uninstall and move on. Later, King, CC, whoever you are...

I have been trying to get 1753 for weeks and have had no luck whatsoever, not even close. I agree, a board like this takes the fun out of playing. CC Saga was so much fun playing in the beginning, and I've really enjoyed most of the different games where you think and plan your moves, but there is no pleasure in these timed games, where you just need plain luck to win, way to stressful. This was the first game I've ever played on my Ipad but I must say I'm tired of playing, the fun is gone.

Okay just passed, no boosters, over a week of play, Collected 4 to 5 sprinkles during game and used on single non-special candies at intervals. Play flowed well with cascades, but no other reason to pass. Keep playing and expect to take weeks. Collect sugar drops from best sugar drop levels to break the boredom.
15 days and counting...I have been playing #1753 on my PC...I don't have any of the other gadgets to play on but the most count I have gotten is 46,000 and I have never gotten even ONE +5 to drop from the left side! BOO-HOO...NO FUN ANYMORE!
Just managed to pass this level after many tries. It's the same case I encountered in level 1694 where the +5 candies don't drop anymore after the recent update. I went back to my old phone which I had stopped auto- update the apps for several months. The +5 candies were dropping as expected. Even then it wasn't easy.

The +5 candies should drop when you made a matching that cause sufficient chain reactions. Apparently, after some recent updates of this app, the +5 candies stopped dropping. Those devices that have the apps auto-updated are not likely to see the +5 candies dropping until this glitch is fixed.

This board is the most frustrating of any i have ever played. I have been playing for weeks and nowhere close. Even the specials that explode after time runs out don't give you the usual value of points. Normally you get about 25000 points for a choc bomb but on this level only about 5000. I set up 3 hoping it would take me to target. But no. This is nuts. And its not even a fun board to play. FED UP

Even when you get the +5 to fall it makes no difference - you only get the ones on the board. They don't keep replenishing into the game. And since they all drop at once you can't even get the benefit of all the extra time.
No, the +5 will keep falling when you make the right combination if you got a chance to play on an out-dated Candy Crush app. The problem is most of our devices auto-update all the apps and you can't roll back.

Impossible to beat this level without the +5 candies dropping - might as well give up now although it's annoying having to give up at this stage due to a glitch on the app rather than just my not wanting to play anymore. Very unfair. :(

I've been on this one for a few days and I've started using 3 platforms - phone, kindle and PC. And on this one, you get more time on the PC, although unfortunately I have hardly any boosters on my PC version since I've played the first 1700 levels on kindle.
However, I just passed on the PC with no boosters. I didn't bother trying to destroy the blockers - I simply tried to form colour bombs. And as you know, if you clear one colour it becomes easier to create another bomb. Which is what I did. I think I had 5 or 6 in the end. Of course I only exploded colours that were still in the +5 section.
And I got a colour bomb almost straightaway, but remembered a tip from someone earlier which said don't explode your +5s at the beginning because the timer never goes above 2.00.
So in the end, fairly straightforward on the PC, but time is very short on the other platforms.
I'm usually pretty good at timed levels! And quite enjoy them! But not this one :( followed all hints and tips but to no luck! So I'm posting this for a bit of luck! Been stuck on this level for days now...... timed levels once loved now dreading :(

And would you believe I passed on my second go after posting for luck!! A lucky board me thinks managed to do a sprinkle with a wrapped and they just kept on coming till I got to 50k with 22 secs! And slight panic but just kept trying to make stripes and wraps then within last 5 mins a sprinkle and wrap came together!!! Miracle..... keep at it folks or just post for luck like I did x

OMG just so absurd!! I got 4 or 5 candy bombs mixed with each other, with a strip etc. and only got 43,000. This level is infuriating!! Played it about 300 times if not more over the last month.
Time went up to 2 mins.
15 goes later job done with no boosters.
Glad that ones over. King may have shot themselves in the foot with this level. Reckon quite a few fellow addicts may have quite playing on this one.

This was the worst level I have ever played on Candy Crush. Even with extending the time to 2 minutes, it was still nearly impossible. I came close and ended up paying three times to extend the time to just get over 60,000. After nearly a month of playing this level, I'm glad it's over, but it really left a foul taste in my mouth. They should have fixed it MUCH earlier than they did.
There are no timed candies coming down ever in 1753. No matter how many cascades I get no timed candies. It sucks.
I've been on this board for MONTHS. I'm not putting another dime into this game. I could have a five minute cascade and get zero extra time. Same thing on all the other platforms. The kindle was still giving me extra time on cascades but that's even done now. Whatever...

What a Joke! I had 5 chocolate candies on the board at once and didn't get diddly squat for points when they went off. I guess I'm done with this game
Been in CandyCrush Jail for 29 days...a record for me! Any help for #1753...NEVER got even one +5 to drop on left side EVER! Playing on PC...have an ipad but it's not much better...NEVER get over 46,000 or so...Same with my husband...he is stuck on #1575 for 19 days...we are BOTH about to go back to regular solitaire or hearts!
cc please text me when you get this level fixed. I can't keep playing a game you have no chance of winning. It takes longer to log into the game then actually loosing 5 lives.
For me, no new time candies drop, even when I have cascades. Not on the PC, and not on the Pad. Impossible.

My latest attempt had sprinkle after sprinkle but all I could score was 44,600. Why are there no extra time candies on the left? I don't see how it's possible without them.

To Candy Thompson who posted on 1754 asking how to pass 1753- Just got it, I think I was on it for 2 1/2 weeks. Just keep playing, try to make sprinkle balls and use them on something you have less of, not using them if you don't need the time and forget about the timed candies on the right. I was so surprised and happy to see my score passing 60,000!

Finally passed this on day four. Just scraped through with 60,340 points. I was down to 13 seconds with only 22k points then had lots of sprinkles. I've had lots of sprinkles before and failed miserably so I'm very relieved to have made it past his horrible level.
Yes, it is boring because it is seemingly impossible. On the phone the points accumulate fast but 10,000 short.On the computer the extra time pieces drop down but to no advantage as the points are low. To think it took 1753 levels and now I might just resume living instead of wasting time on screens. I will try for another week but I think this is the end.
1753 is costing Candy Crush a lot of MONEY. I usually spend $15-$20 a week on here, but I refuse to spend a single coin on a timed game because that's what they have timed games for. There is NO skill involved, and even if you're within a thousand or two of winning , buying extra time seems to get you very little extra numbers since all your boosters are depleted. Their greed isn't working on me.....
Euhm... Reading the comments here, I must have been very lucky: passed first try, no boosters, 2 stars. So don't give up, it is feasible!
What the heck... I NEVER get extra time to drop on main board no matter how long my cascade is. If I could ever get extra time from main board I could probably pass this level but I can ONLY get extra time from the right! Really lousy level. I play just five lives a day and move on to other games. Too aggravating!

Times levels are a health hazard. Tendonitis kicks in after a few games. I am limited games. Those sugardrops bonuses for 2 or 6 hours are worthless for timed levels like this. King, send me a lucky board or I will have to quit.
And...... You just keep on making these stupied timed levels, that those of us who have hand handicaps cannot play! Your pitiful! Money hungry ass!
I'm not sure how folk have got past 1752 levels and then find this one so hard. I found it really hard on my phone, and once got within 40 points of success out of 100-odd attempts. But then when I tried on the laptop, I got 2 minutes instead of 80 seconds on the phone, and did it on about the 5th attempt. My other advice would be to use the sprinkles on plain candies, which gets more points than using them with a stripe, and increases the chance of another sprinkle
Never get timed candies on left side on my cell phone, but do get them on my desktop computer. Is this a big glitch?

Agree these types of levels are frustrating and taking the fun out of playing. There should be a skip level that could be used at least once every 50 levels. Not sure it's worth it to keep playing CC. Grrrr.

Was doing really well when the game froze. I lost the game and all of the free lives from friends. If any game would make me quite playing CC, this would be it. Change level 1753 or many players will go to other fun games. Read the above comments. We are all wanting 1753 to be revised so it can be won.
Can I please get a lucky board soon. No matter what I do on this one, I can't get enough points. You would think that 3 sprinkles and wrapped/stripe combos would give me enough points......but for some reason I'm still shy a couple thousand points. Please help.

Finally got it after playing it almost a week, NBU,about 220,000 points. Was able to just keep making CBS, and using them to hit extra move candies.
