Candy Crush Saga Level 1762

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1762 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1762 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level, but possibly only because it is a timed level. You need to get 130,000 points to beat the level. This would normally be quite a tall order, but there are 9 colour bombs up the left side of the board.
There are a couple of ways to play level 1762 Candy Crush Saga, one is to unlock 2 of the colour bombs and switch them together to bring the rest of the colour bombs into play on the main board, but DON'T switch any more together as they don't give many points.
Switch the colour bombs with single candies, preferably ones with most of that colour on the board. This should give you enough points if you manage to switch all the colour bombs wisely.
The other way is more reliant on luck. Unlock some of the colour bombs, as high on the board as you can. If you can get the one at the top or the one next to it that is best.
Then forget about the colour bombs and make as many special candies and combos as you can, cause cascades whenever possible to get extra time candies.
Then once the time runs out the colour bombs you unlocked will detonate, unlocking the ones beside them, until they are all gone. This is where the luck comes in. You may or may not get enough points depending how many colour bombs have been used at the end.

The only way I can see to pass this level is to clear one of the top two colour bombs and leave them where they are. This will guarantee you enough points when the time runs out, if you switch 2 colour bombs together you are very unlikely to get enough points. So if you are no good at timed levels my top tip would be to hit the top colour bomb with a lolly pop hammer and you will sail thru.

Thank you Anonymous! Been struggling with this level, never thought about using lollypop, worked first time!
On to the next level!

I hit the top one without using a hammer (I think I happened to get a horizontal stripe in the top row, ridiculous dumb luck, should have made a video of it). If all of them go off one by one, yes, it gives enough points. Otherwise the level is impossible.

I hit the top chocolate ball with a hammer and at the end, it was the only one that went off. I did it two different times. What am I doing wrong?

Had the same luck as Lucia. Didn't use a hammer but was able to do a horizontal candy which hit one color ball. After that, got all my points to pass at the end when the color balls went off one by one.

I totally didn't expect to pass the level on the 3rd try. When the timer stopped, the score bar was very low. There was one chocolate ball on the left panel exposed but no candy to pair it up with. Next something amazing happened - the chocolate balls just blew up one by one and each time created some special candies on the board. Ended up getting 3 stars!! No boosters were used.

Don't try first approach that Ms. Cookie describes- not enough points. Better was second option- each color ball going off in sequence was enough to win

Agree with CC from vero, expose a chocolate ball with a horizontal stripe, play away happily making combos and at when time runs out, the remaining choc balls blitz the points. Can't see why this is difficult but I've only played it once, maybe got lucky.

Hitting one of the top 2 color bombs won't necessarily complete the level for you. I did it twice and did not get enough points. You have to clear as many blockers first as you can so that they will be replaced by candies that will give you points.

Third try, lucky to make a stripe/wrap. Switched those two (towards the bottom) but did not explode any of the remaining, just let them fall into the center. Had very few specials, but end choc ball explosion gave many more points than needed. Good luck all.

Well thanks for the tips, folks! First time with the hammer on the top chocolate bomb, only managed 127K. Secon time did the trick. Managed to hit 3 of the +5 candies and left specials on the board. Pulled my score up to 141K. As I am useless at timed levels, this was a huge help! Only 2 stars, but who cares! Good luck everyone!

This is exactly why I come to this blog. After several unsuccessful attempts, I read the tips, avoided blowing up the color bombs on the left side, got as many points as I could on the board, and just as time was about to expire, used a hammer on the top left corner color bomb, resulting in each color bomb going off in order, adding points all the way up to 190K. Not hard at all.

Passed this second attempt - I didn't think I was doing well as I had only unjellied a high up sprinkle, although I had cleared a lot of blockers. When sugar crush happened, the sprinkles released and went off one at a time, giving me a 3 star win! Came to read the comments and realized I'd inadvertently done what everyone says to do!

Thank you for this tip. I have a HORRIBLE time with timed levels, but used your lollipop tip and passed after about 6 attempts.

I collected 2 sprinkles in the main board and was able to send a horizontal stripe to open up a sprinkle on the left. When time ended, all the sprinkles on the left went off one by one giving me enough points on my second try. No boosters. Good Luck!!!!!

I also used the lollipop to hit the top chocolate ball, but was 600 points shy. So next try and started with a choc ball booster, switched it with a color that was all over the board, then used a lollipop to hit the first choc ball. That gave me enough points in the beginning so that when all the choc balls popped I got 3 stars. Thank you for the great tip!!!

How 'bout that. I Used a wrapped - striped combo to uncover two of the candy balls, and then left them alone. Who ever heard of getting a timed level on the first try! Onward!

Thank You for this tip!! It worked immediately for me too!

Re last anonymous on 15th June. The same thing happened to me on my second attempt. I'd uncovered only one sprinkle and didn't think I was doing very well then at the end all the bombs went off and I made the target. I wasn't expecting to pass a timed level so easily.
