Candy Crush Saga Level 1777

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1777 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1777 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you pass it.
There are only 30 moves to clear the jelly and the marmalade means the moves are very restricted at the start.
You may not have a choice, but try to make matches near the bottom and this will hopefully cause cascades, which in turn will help unlock the marmalade and clear jelly without wasting moves.
You'll need stripes or a colour bomb to unlock the candies in the middle of the board but once the board is a bit more open you should find it gets easier to make special candies and combos as there are only 4 colours of candy on the board.
You will need some powerful jelly destroying combos to clear level 1777. Colour bomb/wrap or colour bomb/stripe will be the best.

Another rubbish level where you have to wait for a lucky board and most moves have little or no value. Have been playing for three days and not even close. Have seldom been able to make any colour bombs, and when I do, no room to move to match them with any other special candies.
Stop wasting my time, King!

Pardon my cynicism, but the very next time I played after the above post, I cleared this level.

Amazing. Second try. No boosters.

Hmmm ... Nasty level again. Will need a lucky board. Not enough moves

Can't even get close on this one. I don't mind a challenge but this one is crazy. Frustrated!!'

I used all three boosters and rest till color bomb was next to wrap as that does way more damage than a stripe combo. This cleared a ton and then I was able to make a lot of combos . I found the center cream to be the toughest so I did work from the bottom when possible but if I could make a combo that hit those two center ones I took those. Second try finished.

Used a fish, but it didn't help much. Tried to work at the bottom as much as I could. Somehow managed to get 3 colour bomb/stripe combos but still needed to spend 9 of my bonus gold bars for 5 extra moves. Was down to 2 jellies and figured I wouldn't get this close again! Good luck everyone!

After a few times unsuccessfully trying, I used all three boosters. The third time I was lucky and started with the colour bomb next to a wrap. That beginning helped and I finished - but only just! This is indeed a game of mostly luck. Grace from DU

On the nineteenth try, got a couple of colour bomb/stripe combinations early and they luckily shot through the centre, unlocking candy and clearing jelly. Still, despite getting as close to a lucky board as is possible, I needed to use a hammer (and I have lots) to get the last jelly with one move to get. Colour bombs form readily on this board, especially once it is opened up a bit. Use them wisely!

I've been on this level for days. Just had a game end with 24 moves left. It said "No more possible switches"?? HUH?? With 24 moves left, there should be lots of shuffles left. sigh

I used Fish boosters and got this on 3rd try, must have gotten lucky boards, came close all three times.

Still waiting on that lucky board. It's one thing to say work from the bottom, but when you get 10 rubbish moves at the top before the board shuffles, there's no chance to win. Posting here for good karma!

About that good karma - next 2 games were rubbish. So I tried all 3 boosters. First move the stripe took out my sprinkle, but a lucky cascade gave me another sprinkle right next to a wrap. That took out most of the board, and I just had to get the last few jellies. Finished with 24 moves remaining! Onward....

Posting for a lucky board again.

I'll probably have to resort to boosters since this level is ridiculous with so few moves.

Waiting for that lucky board that hasn't been seen in bloody long time

This is ridiculous. Can't even get close. Having to wait for that lucky board makes for a boring play.

After several tries and even trying 1 measly old jellyfish but still getting nowhere I thought I'd see if there were any tips. Resisted using all three boosters just to have one last shot, and bingo, the lucky board. About half way through a sprinkle landed next to a wrap and that was such a huge help. I needed to use a hand switch to line up a stripe in the middle but that was all. Why is it that so often after reading this blog, the lucky board appears?

This board looks very familiar. We've had it before. I used 3 boosters on the second try and beat it.

Just wasn't getting anywhere with this level. My best score was 7 to get then got lucky with a sprinkle opening up the board and giving me another sprinkle. More followed and I finished with 4 moves left and three stars.
