Candy Crush Saga Level 1796

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1796 Candy Crush Saga without boosters  by Cookie
Level 1796 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
The hardest part is to get the ingredients down from the conveyor on the right side of the board so they can be dropped down to the exits.
To begin with you need to clear some of the blockers on the right using stripe/wrap combos and maybe a colour bomb/stripe combo. Although the colour bomb combo may not be very effective as the stripes rarely go where you need them most.
Don't worry about the ingredients to begin with as you can't do anything with them until there is space on the right for them.
Once you have cleared some space let the fruit go along the conveyor and make a match under it when it is on the right so it falls off the conveyor.
You can use a combo or colour bomb also.
Then keep clearing the blockers until you can get the fruit down to the exits.

You can expect to lose a FEW lives? I finally gave up on this one and used a booster (I think it was just one). As usual, Cookie makes the level sound a lot easier than it was for me.

Sure, all you have to do is clear all those blockers on the right. No problem.

Why are there so few comments on this level? I am having a really hard time with this level... I can't even get close! Is it just me?

Lucky board needed.

Hopefully the IPad version will be a little easier. If not, we're in for a long ride.

There's a tremendously amount of blockers on the right where the exits are. There are 5-layer blockers on the bottom 3 rows and 3 rows of 4-layer blockers above it. What I did was use a coconut wheel and reset until it is on the 4th position from the right. Roll it to the right and it will clear a layer of each blockers on the left 3 columns for a good start. I still have to use a hand switch and a hammer to create a couple of striped/wrapped combos to complete it.

Just played 15 times between 3 devices and got no where. The IPad and phone have more bombs and chocolate than the laptop. I've been playing on laptop for days and hoped the new updates would make it better. Horrible, horrible level.

Finally was able to beat it. Used a coconut wheel booster. Had to use one hand swap to get ingredients in same column. Then used lollipop hammer to remove the ladt blocker in their way. Hardest level I've played in a long time.

Anonymous said...

Coconut wheel is the best bet and I was lucky that it generated four more. Had one blocker and I used a lollipop on it and then two candies below that I used the hand swap to move fruit to the bottom and out. Not the hardest, but it is right up there.

Followed RdG advice and after a while was lucky to get two sprinkles together in the conveyor. I kept them together while hitting the blockers and got the second ingredient over the blockers with the first ingredient. Put the two sprinkles together and it both ingredients fell, down and out. Whew! Level over with luck. Carol the elder

Used my favourite combo on levels like this. A Chocolate Sprinkle booster with a Coconut Wheel and reset until they were side by side on top row then swiped them. Gives you a really good start on the level. Then after making a few more combos I used one hand switch to get two Coconut Wheels vertically and swiped them. That gives two continuous rounds of stripes. Then only had a few moves to get both ingredients to drop out. Third try and three stars with a few moves left. Good luck.

Seems impossible to me after trying quite a few times (say 30!). I can not even get more than 2 rows of the right side cleared let alone a whole column. What booster can I use to help? Tried coconut wheel but it seems a waste as it does not even make a dent in all those heavy blockers. Grace from DU

After trying for I don't know how many times, I finally got both ingredients on the right most column. I had only the bottom 2 blockers left there and I used 6 lollipop hammers to get through the level. So glad to be done with this one.

Anonymous said...

Same problem here. I can't clear a fraction of all that jelly.

Anonymous said...

Took advice of anonymous above of combining coconut wheel with sprinkle. That cleared a lot and luckily a couple more coconut wheels appeared. Still had to use two hand switches and a hammer to finish. Glad that's over.

I've played at least 50 times with no luck... posting for lucky board!!

Thank you Sharon for your brilliant tip. Completed it first time with no further boosters.

This level is impossible to make without boosters, which I don't have any. Tired of playing this one.

Thanks! Worked for me, too, along with 1 hand switch to move 1st ingredient dowm in right column.

I haven't beat this level yet, but I think it's fun and challenging. At least you can use some of your skills on this one. I like the surprise eggs, we don't see them very often. Levels like this keeps me playing this total waste of time!

After a dozen or so tries, via phone and laptop, I checked the comments here. Thanks to the person who suggested a coconut wheel. I was on laptop so I couldn't choose position with a sprinkle/bomb, but fortunately, the first coconut wheel was on the top row, so I could start to chip away at the right side and make room for the fruit. It was altogether a good board, with the additional 3 or 4 coconut wheels landing in a way that I could remove all the icing. That, plus a sprinkle/wrap combo, and a sprinkle/strip combo gave me all the juice I needed to complete the level with two moves to spare.

Thank you!! Played this level a lot with no luck. Coconut wheel & stripe make a HUGE difference!

Anonymous said...

Used a coconut wheel, resetting until it was on the top row and could be used in a couple of moves to hit down the right 3 columns. On my winning game, 2 moves in, I had to switch the wheel as my only move, and only got one column. Continued the game and got a lot of sprinkles. Had to use 3 hand switches at the end, but I was so close I didn't want to quit. Down to only 1 lollipop and 2 hand switches in my supply now.

Played and got nowhere until this......use a coconut wheel and sprinkle and reset until they are side by side in the top right. Make sure you have moves right away to get rid of some of the licorice before you match them. You can't get rid of them all cause the conveyor will take your boosters over top of the left board and they will fall. I wAs able to match my first two moves to clear the licorice and then set the wheel off with the bomb....so it hit both sides of the board. Beat it with lives left.

Ornursecandy said...

Ornurse again...I forgot...I was playing on iPad and I did use one hammer to set off a stripe on the conveyor belt. It was above a cherry so I couldn't let it for!

Ornursecandy said...

I couldn't let it go! Stupid autocorrect.

Boater1 said...

I must be really bad at this game cuz even the tip of coconut wheel and color bomb didn't help. I used all my color bombs and still not close to winning. Everything I get blows up on its own before I can do anything with it. Stupid game.

Anonymous said...

Thank you so much. Tried just coconut wheel which helped but no cigar. This worked like a charm on the first try. 3 stars.

Anonymous said...

I love playing CC but have left level 1796 with lives to spare.. Not fun when you use your stragety to get this far only to have cc blow everything.. Later

Anonymous said...

Impossible this level!!

Playing for days and nearest I got to clearing right side was 1 row, coconut wheels not a huge help either. Grrrr

Brutal level. Took your advice. Used coconut wheel w sprinkle bomb to start. Used hand switches and hammers. DONE!! Yay.

Anonymous said...

Please tell me someone has done this level with no boosters, have run out and been stuck here for ages!

Anonymous said...

Okay so I started with a board that had no possible switches. I'm trying to post it but it won't let me attach pics. I'm disgusted with these new boatds.

Anonymous said...

Beginning to truly despise this one!

Anonymous said...

OMG can't even get close. Makes heaps of combos and still can't get any where. Ready to throw in the towel. Bloody impossible.

Skibuz said...

I don't normally post, but this was a horrible level. I finally passed it by using 6 - 8 hammers to finally get the 2 ingredients out of the shoot.
I totally believe this level is impossible to pass without using many boosters. This isn't why I play the game. Happy to move on, but won't tolerate many more like this horrible level!!!!!

Very hard level. I'm posting for luck. Also I want to ask how many of you have ever won the jackpot on the daily spin wheel because I have been playing CC for years and have never hit the jackpot.

Anonymous said...

Two things: 1. Has anyone actually won a jackpot and if so, what did you win? In all these years of missing very few days spinning, I've never won.
2. This might sound dumb since I've been playing long enough to get to this level, but what happens when you combine a coconut wheel with a chocolate sprinkle ball? I've never tried that.

LynnR said...

Combine a coconut wheel with a sprinkle ball and you will get striped candies all the way across a row.

I've played this level too many days. I know when I'm licked. So long CC.

Anonymous said...

Thanks, LynnR. I've been trying to combine the coconut wheel with the chocolate sprinkle for about 10 games. So far, I haven't come close to winning this level. I think it's impossible without a VERY lucky board and maybe several boosters which I don't have.

Anonymous said...

Two days after posting the last comment, I finally won with 3 stars without using any of the switch hand or hammers. I used a chocolate ball and a coconut wheel and reset them until they were together. I had already tried this about 10 times. This time, a friend had given me 3 extra moves. I didn't notice the number of moves and I ran out with about 2 moves from winning. Fortunately I had a spin on the wheel which gave me 5 extra moves which enabled me to complete this board. Don't give up - this can be done but not without a lucky board. I'm glad to be moving on.

I've read many comments on several levels of this blog about King cheating you out of boosters, not counting wins because the screen froze, etc. A couple of months ago, I had an especially difficult game that took several boosters to win and then King didn't give me credit. I wrote to their complaint department and it was handled immediately. Last night, I finally got the 180 candy drops to win the big prize and I got a message that I was not online so I couldn't get my reward. Again I sent the message. I got the reward plus they threw in some other boosters. The squeeky wheel gets the worm so don't be afraid to complain,

Anonymous said...

This level absolutely SUCKS!...that is all.

Anonymous said...

Just one hard level after another....been on this one for a couple of days. Just shifting candy from place to another. Used boosters to no avail. Come on lucky board...so tired of level 1796.

I passed this level on my desktop this morning but the game froze and gave an oops error message. Not fun

Screw this day after day moving around and around and no progress. I can spend these hours cleaning house, yards, and catching up on my reading...hey, I might even get my life back. Good bye Candy Crush.

Mark Potter said...

Came close a few times with no boosters so time to bring in the big guns. Hard level but still better than some of the earlier dross.

Coconut wheel in top corner to take 1 hit off each blocker and completed with 1 move to spare

Boring!

Lose a few lives!!! I've been on this a couple of days and not come close even with boosters, so frustrating! I refuse to pay for extra lives and don't intend to waste all my boosters. Oh well back to dreamworld for a while

2nd try after posting, passed this level using 2 lollipop hammers, one to clear blocker and one to clear jelly, pleased to be rid of that one!!
