Candy Crush Saga Level 1800

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1800 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The popcorns are the hardest things to clear, so look for ways to hit them right from the start. Wrapped candies are best for growing popcorn as they will give you 2 hits if you can switch them next to a popcorn.
Stripes and stripe/wrap combos are next best but be careful before you switch a colour bomb with a stripe as they rarely go where you want them and are likely to miss the popcorns completely. You may be lucky if there are plenty of candies the same colour as the stripe in line with the popcorns, but otherwise don't waste your colour bomb. Much better to switch it with a wrapped candy.

Only 28 moves on Ipad.

To make things worse the game keeps crashing on Ipad.

What's going on, game continually crashing on iPad, had this months ago, thought it was sorted. Have lost several lives in an hour.

With all the talk of IPads crashing, I was worried about wasting boosters. I gambled, using a sprinkle and stripe/wrap booster. I reset the board until wrap and stripe could be switched together, giving me a very good start. It took a couple hand switches besides, but I won and luckily my IPad didn't freeze. Whew!

Pointless using a fish booster, they don't go for the jelly under the popcorns.

Find I am playing candy crush less and less these days. It seems like every level you have to use boosters or be prepared to play a 100 times without even getting close.

What does it mean to "reset" the board? How do you do that without losing the boosters?

^never mind. Figured it out

Well everybody, It's been fun. Thanks for all the comments, tips, and occasional encouragement to go on. I decided, some time back, that when I got to 1800, I was going to quit. It has nothing to do with an insane level, lockups, unexplained loss of lives and boosters, or the position of the moon. It really hasn't been all that much fun for the last few hundred levels. So, I have reached my quitting goal and heading off to look for another game. Hope to run into all of you there!

PS

After all the days it took to get to 1800, I NEVER hit the jackpot on the daily spin.

Sprinkle and wrapped side by side. Keep resetting the board till the wrapped will appear in the top corners to help with clearing the top two popcorn and should be okay after that.

Agree, agree with you!! Time to leave CC!!!!! As CC continues to develope more levels there is no end in sight for me to play other games, most importantly the new levels are no fun to me any more.

So tired of this stupid level. Another mislabeled Difficulty as Easy. If anyone of you think this is fun and easy then it means you got a lucky board.

WTF--28 moves to rid of 49 jellies WITH 5 Popcorn!!!! Good luck!! As that is what you need to wait for.

Your video shows 35 moves I've only got 28 on phone kindle and pc. I have got down to 1 jelly left 3 times!! If I had your extra 7 moves I could easily do this level. Why have you got 35 ? I've been on this for days very fed up and frustrated.

I always play the first time with no boosters and this time I also got my lucky board, so it is possible with no boosters and 28 moves. Was able to match a sparkle with a wrap and other specials... 10 moves left... keep trying your board will come.

I found this one and the next very challenging but enjoyable. No hazards to speak of. Strategy matters. Only thing I'd add to Ccokie's is to not switch a sprinkle and stripe until you've used the stripes in the corners. If the color you switch with is the same as stripe of one in a corner, the corner stripe will change direction which ruins the domino effect. Of course, by this point you all know that. But I got fooled once.
