Candy Crush Saga Level 1855

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1855 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
The only way you will have any chance of clearing level 1855 is with cascades.
First make moves that take as much licorice as possible with every move to get it off the board, this will make room for what you really need which are colour bombs and wraps.
Colour bombs and wraps will cause cascades which in turn will collect more of the candies you need to complete the level.
Don't concentrate on the colours you need, keep making combos and when you have a colour bomb take off any colour that has most on the board, this will cause cascades and collect more of what you need. Obviously if there are a lot of orange or purple candies take them, but if there are only a few go for another colour.
You need to average 14  purple or orange candies with every move, more because the first moves will be clearing licorice, so it will probably be nearer 20 per move by the time you are clear of licorice. This is only possible with cascades, lots of them!
It is very hard to plan moves as the conveyors move in different directions, so it is very important to check carefully before every move to see if you can make a colour bomb or a wrap. If you see a good move you can't afford to leave it because it will not be there next time.
If you can only make a match of three do it near the bottom of the board to give more chance of a cascade. It doesn't matter where you make your wraps and colour bombs but try to get the wraps lower down before you match them.

This is actually a fun level -the movement is mesmerizing.

This level is pretty good for sugar drops.

Screen freeze (again) so I wasn't credited with passing the level. Grrr. Annie

So the game crashed and I have lost all my boosters except gold bars and lives from friends. Contacted King Care. We'll see.

This level requires more luck than skill. The only "skill" I used is to make color bombs with hand switches, but finally passed it on the 5th try.

Seems to be another 'wait for the lucky board' level :-(

Great tips Cookie! I followed your advice and crushed straight out of the gate. Thanks!

Have just passed this level but it took me ages and I was surprised not to see more comments. In the end I started with a wrapped/striped booster (because it was all I had) followed the advice above and got through but I was at the point of giving up. By the end I was using the chocolate bomb as soon as I got one because, as cookie says, saving things doesn't work in this round and they kept just going off to no good effect.

Fun level, although hard! Haven't passed it yet! Two days lol

Passed the level eventually! Used all three boosters and followed cookies advice, work at the bottom.

This is actually making me feel queasy. I find it very difficult to focus on the gems. With the zig-zag of the tracks, it's really doing my head in. As a migraine sufferer some of these levels, like the colour changing gems, are a health hazard.

Only 27 moves on a PC. Here we go again. Blah, blah, blah. Show videos where you've completed the level using less moves, Ms Cookie.

Took a lot of tries to pass this level but what finally worked for me was a to keep making wrapped candy and detonating them to keep the cascades coming down.

Why are we back to levels biased only on luck?

Had a difficult time with this level. Finally passed using choc bomb and striped/wrappped,spun wheel for 5 extra moves and had to use 2 hammers also! 1 star but who cares!!!

At level 1855, I have NEVER gotten the lucky board from the daily spin. Have you???? Yet another thing "rigged" by CC. And this level sucks like all their timed levels. Pokémon go actually allows their players to feel challenged AND successful. Why don't YOU try that approach cc?????

It took a while but I made it. The licorice was easy to clear. I looked out for opportunities to make sprinkles. Sometimes I used them on the orange and purple if there were a lot on the board or I used them on another colour if there was a large amount. Also made sprinkle/wrapped combos when possible or striped/wrapped and wrapped/wrapped to create cascades and get as many new colours on the board.

Posting for luck - I've been on this one for over a week and mostly don't come close!

Let's look at the statistics of what you're suggesting. You need 20 purple or orange every turn. There are not 20 of either color on the board at one time. Even if there were, that would mean you need to make a combo and explode the combo ( which takes a minimum of five turns) EVERY SINGLE TURN! it is not statistically possible. Even using all of the boosters which I have multiple times, it isn't possible. I don't know how you people are passing this, but why are you not raising a bigger stink about the fact that King has set out an impossible task. I even used 20 gold bars to buy a watermelon saucer. That clears one board, and it doesn't come close to getting what you need. You can use gold bar after gold bar buying extra turns, it doesn't matter. What the fuck is wrong with King!

What a manashery of bullshit!!!

THere are not enough orange candies to win. It's extremely hard, even with 6 color bombs!

I am getting close but using the check booster doesn't help at all. Don't know why it's the 'recommended' booster.

This is hard.

So it takes the video player needed the full 30 moves and really only passed it because of luck as 3 orange candies that was needed fell together on the zero count and yet it now has only 27 moves!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's see a video of it being completed with the lower moves... skill 0% luck 100% more and more of these unfair games appearing.

I've posted on here before for luck and l've posted for a whinge (and l come on here to read the great hints) but today l'm posting on here to say thank you, o God of the Lucky Board , for visiting me on only about the third go! Very satisfying (and actually, although this level is pretty undoable without the LB, it was actually good fun even knowing that).

Keep at it everyone and good luck!

I never EVER visit these help forums, but I had been on this level for probably a week and got frustrated and googled it. Closed this thread, played one more game, and won! It made me so happy I just had to come back here and post. :D

Tried all of the tips and they do help get more. Just still short 30-50 every game. Wish the cascade gods would take pity on me.

Got it first try starting with a blue helmet and all three boosters. First move I matched a CB with wrapped candy. This cleared all the licorice. Mid game I used a hand switch to move an orange stripped candy next to a CB. Won the extra spin to get 5 more moves. On the last move I needed 7 orange candies to finish the game. I made an orange stripped candy (using up 4 orange candies) and luckily it went off hitting at least 3 more orange candies! Game over!

Just have one thing to say why when I had two chocolate sprinkles not near each other trying to set them up , they explode on their own without matching them with anything .... I don't think that is fair and candy crush is cheating ! They should not explode unless matched with something or there is a cascade going on , but just exploding by themselves ... no that isn't right !!! Anybody else notice that ???

Truly a level that makes me quit! Never again will I play this stupid game!

Got it after around 15 tries.Focus on just trying to get special candles all the time: rely on cascades; wrap on wrap can be devastating.I wouldn't say this relies on a lucky board.

Lucky board please!!!!

Don't know how I can get thru this level. Making me dizzy. Wokeup today during the night with vertigo.

Impossible level colours never come up and with so little moves this game is rubbish and it's not even a hard level.... So help is needed or a lucky board to get me through this not fun level
