Candy Crush Saga Level 1953

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1953 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
This is a tricky level as you need to allow the chocolate to grow and still make moves.
The first thing to do is collect at least 4 of the keys to unlock the chocolate machines, if you don't manage to do this with at least 25 moves left you may as well quit and start again as you won't get the chocolate you need.
The chocolate only grows by one square per move so you need more than 24 moves to grow enough but to really have a chance of passing this level you should aim to release the chocolate in the first 5 moves.
Once the chocolate starts to grow leave it alone as much as possible and make your moves near the top. A colour bomb/stripe combo will give you all the stripes you need so no need to keep making stripes, with luck this combo will also give you enough licorice too.
If you get the colour bomb/stripe combo try to save it as long as possible, as long as you don't lose it to the chocolate, Keep count of how many chocolate squares you have and once you have what you need switch the combo and see what happens.
You need a lot of luck as well as planning for level 1953 as it can be quite hard to get the keys quickly enough.

Yeah I caved in and had to buy 5 more moves to get the last two chocolate. So... I don't do that very often... spend about a buck a month if that on this game. The last timed level is not too bad. Got it without boosters after about 50 tries. Don't waste your sprinkle boosters on it..... but do make sprinkles... You will need at least three and lots of combos. The game gave me my lucky board. Onward Crushers. See you Wednesday:)

I find this level ridiculously difficult, even with boosters. It seems that when you use boosters, the board is awful and when you don't use any boosters, the board is a lot luckier but still you would have needed boosters. So my tip for this level is go bank up free boosters for a few days and good luck for the lucky board .... unless you want to buy free moves which I won't.

Eventually got there by going in with a chocolate sprinkle and a lucky tick candy booster. That made it a good challenge and I finished with a single hammer. Without boosters, it's nigh on impossible.

Horrible level. Even using pre-boosters I can't finish this. I'm getting so bored with these impossible levels. It's just not fun any more. I know they give us plenty of boosters, but the levels require them. I figure I'm going to need five lollipops to clear the keys right away so I have a slight chance of getting through this.

This has to be the most stupid level King have come up with. It is very difficult to open the board within the first 10 moves.

Finally completed this level using a sprinkle ball and check booster to start with. Then, about six lollipop hammers at the end. Did not like this level.

A new low from King. Theoretically 35 moves to complete one level. Realistically, if you have not released the chocolate within 5 moves then no chance. So far averaging a total of 30 moves in total for all five levels and failing every time. Pathetic!!!!

Here we go again, I wonder if they really want people to continue to play this game. Its ok to have a hard level, but sooner or later this game gets to be NO FUN.. This is it.. I think its time to quit. Either they need to make changes on this level or every one will be done with done with them.... Time to lighten thing up here people...I've been on here over 3 weeks, and used up every thing I have... Not sure what to do other then quit...

Took advice from players above. Started with chocolate sprinkle and a tick booster. Still needed 4 hammers and a switch at the end. Problem is, these levels are so utterly boring, one might as well use the saved boosters. Otherwise collecting boosters is a waste of time.

I know I've said this before , but this is the worse level in a long long time...I honestly don't see me getting this level until King decides to give it to me...I live Cookie saying, get the keys within the first five levels.....right ....soooo easy...I've used sprinkle balls, I've used check marks and still didn't get enough chocolate...and the one time I did, I didn't have enough moves left to blow them all up....will try on the PC ..ion else it's time for a break....

I think this is the level of CC that makes me quit. RIDICULOUS!!

Chocolate sprinkle?! What is that?!

Seems impossible without boosters. I started with a stripe-wrap and a lucky candy and reset until the stripe and wrap where next to each other and able to hit 4 keys in the first move. After that you can only hope that the lucky candy gives you enough chocolate and licoridge to succeed ... Worked first time I tried this. Good luck!!

PasseD this by starting with a tick, it turned into a chocolate in the middle of the board. I let it grow to 3 chocolates before they got smashed. Then I got another tick that turned into a licorice. Then I used my only hammer on another licorice. Then I got a choco-ball next to a stripe. Game over but I then used the extra moves spin, no luck. Then used the next extra spin by using the 6 gold bars I owned and won 5 extra moves. I got 2 choco-balls on the board and used a hand switch to put them next to each other. BAM! MIC DROP!

If you don't know what that is by now then find another game! Duh!

I find it hard to believe that anyone who made it this far would quit now! Don't you want to at least make it to level 2000?

Will you people stop coming here to complain about how "hard" the level is? You don't need to post that you're going to quit, just do it already! Many of us come here for hints and tips and don't need your complaining. If you've made it this far, clearly you're hooked!

Thanks to the tips, I started with a check and a stripe/wrap, which I rested until they were together near the top. Used the hand swap to move them up enough so they would take out all the keys when combined. I needed a couple more swaps to hit the licorice several times while I let the chocolate grow. Luckily, I was able to get enough chocolate and had combos to get it. This has been a horrible episode! Carol the elder

Thanks for all the tips... used a couple of hammers to smash the keys, hand switch, everything was going super, free spin for the +5 to get the last 3 chocolates, didn't win , bought the gold bars for the extra moves. Oh well spent $1 to get this far...not bad... and I am moving on. Think everyone is right, impossible without boosters.

I quit here

Beat this with chocolate sprinkle and tick boosters. Got the keys ASAP and patiently waited for chocolate to grow. Didn't need to use any hammers and had about 5 moves left over. Not impossible, be patient and smart

It can be done with no booster. On my final move I used a chocolate speckled with a stripe. Finished it off and got three stars.

Thanks to the kids above. I started with A check mark. Actually had to start about four times since it sometimes turns to a licorice or stripe. But on the iPad it started and I grew about six chocolate before I had to break it. Used One hand switch to line up a stripe underneath the right column to take out the birds. Passed with three stars. Never would've passed without the above tips.

Thanks to the above Tip, I started with a checkmark. Actually I had to start three times because sometimes they turn into a stripe or a licorice. Let the checkmark gather about six chocolate before taking them out. Used one and switch to move a stripe underneath the birds and kick them out. Easy after that and passed with three stars. never would've made it without the checkmark tip.

What is a chocolate sprinkle?

cherylb said...

The dark ball candy with sprinkles ...what do you call them??

Anonymous said...

Started with stripe/wrap and check mark boosters. Reset to get stripe and wrap together at top to get all keys in one move (used hand switch when they were almost together as it was taking forever.) Let chocs grow to get enough. Was low on licorice, but used a hand switch to get a sprinkle and stripe together to finish.

I completely agree have said that.
It is like they punish you for using boosters

Anonymous said...

I just got the luckiest board ever! 1st try, no boosters with 21 turns left!!!

Anonymous said...

Took me 5 tries. On the final one I used a hand switch booster to combine a bomb with a stripe and got the rest of the licorice. Didn't have much trouble growing the chocolate. Found it pretty easy to make specials.

Awful level, yet again...Zzzz

Anonymous said...

This one is NUTS! I think you need a arsenal of boosters which of course I don't have.

Anonymous said...

Thank you, Shelly Ford. I agree with you...just play the game, offer hints if you can. Stop complaining. If it's "too hard" for you, just quit. I doubt we'll miss you.....

Excellent tips. Got it first try, but started with a package, stripe and color bomb earned in the magic helmet which was activated today.

Took a lot of tries-no boosters but needed to use hammers because I couldn't get all the licorice. I wasn't paying attention to the bottom row but I did find out it had some useful items. Glad to be done.

If it's not a timed level you can try resettting the board until the boosters are positioned the way you want them. Hopefully that'll help.

I see it doesn't get easier with time. I love the tips on here, keep it going people and please give me a lucky board king.

Need to wait for a lucky board.... again!!!

Load of old garbage

Either I Can’t get keys or if I do get them it’s impossible to get to the liquorice.

Also I’m getting pissed off at cc’s habit of screwing up my well positioned stripes & combos with these damn conveyor belts !

Sick of this rubbish.
