Candy Crush Saga Level 1969

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1969 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1969  is a tricky level, you need to destroy the spawner at the bottom before it covers the board with chocolate.
First look at the candies around the spawner and see if you can make some matches next to it, but leave them for the first two moves as the spawner won't spawn any chocolate until you have made the third move. So make the first 2 moves near the blockers to begin to clear them, then make as many moves to hit the spawner as you can, this will give you longer without chocolate.
Then make stripes and stripe/wrap combos to hit the spawner from the top, or if you have managed to get through into the bottom part of the board try to make matches to hit the spawner until it explodes. If you managed to hit it a few times at the start it won't take much more to get rid of it.
The next job is to clear the blockers at the same time as you clear jelly. Colour bombs are the best things to use. When you get a colour bomb look carefully at the candies and take the one that will do most damage to the blockers or that will get the tricky jellies in the corners.
I found colour bombs switched with stripes not to be very effective as they seemed to miss the tricky bits of jelly completely, but I may have just been unlucky and it might work better for you.

  1. This is not a tricky level, it is an impossible level. 50+ tries and I haven't done it without boosters yet (and used a lot of boosters as I couldn't even get down to two or three jellies).

  2. Nearly got it down to 2 jellies but no hammers left. Back to 1476 et al

  3. Ah Ms. Cookie, I thought you gave up on us when you didn't post your sage advice for a while. Other blogs pale in comparison to your guidance and if not for you, I'd still be stuck on a much lower level!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I finally won after I used a disco ball and fish. Two of the bottom blocks don't have jelly underneath and don't have to be broken. I will never return to this level.

  5. I finally got it without boosters. It takes phenomenal luck. Those color bombs that Cookie so blithely refers to are usually all but impossible to make with so little space to work in.

    1. Why do you keep coming here when all you do is put down Ms. Cookie's advice? The rest of us are very grateful for all the wonderful tips. Not every one works every time but I know I would never have made it this far without them. Thanks Ms Cookie!!

    2. Maybe because it's the same advice every single time. Make color bombs, striped/wrap combos...ms. Cookie lost all credibility with me when she said she didn't believe in lucky boards...

  6. Done at last with 4 hammers

  7. Another ridiculous level. Whats the matter with the developers? Can't they make levels that enjoy the players anymore??

  8. well done candy crush thanks for making 1969 impossible to get through i deleted app and now have a life

  9. boring boring boring

I really need to give up and get a life and all the games in this level are helping with that decision

  10. I was so bored with this level that I used all my hammers to finish it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I have 'mad quit' this level so many times, it's embarrassing!
If I had, like, 25 free hammers, I would use EVERY one of them to get past this ridiculously nasty level. Not groovy....and 1969 was such a great freakin' year too!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Used 3 hammers on the spawners and 2 additional hits to get rid of it! Finally with the help of the fish booster, I cleared the stage on 2nd play!

  13. This is it! The developer of this level must have had a very bad hairday while developing this level. All the joy I had playing candy crush has gone on this level.Level 1969 is the most frustrating level You can even images. So: bey bey King!

  14. I played on the iPad, used all the proposed boosters at the beginning, reset until colour bomb was beside either wrap or striped candy. This gave a good start to clear a lot of the board. Took me 3 tries using that tip - a lot of tries before, mostly on PC but a few on iPad.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I have heard the term" reset until the color bomb was beside a wrap or stripe".... how does one go about doing this? I was unaware you could manipulate the board in any way....?

    1. You can do this if you are playing on mobile (tablets, cell phones). I just use my back arrow on my tablet. You can select boosters from your start screen, go to the playing screen and back out without losing your boosters.

  16. the designer that make this level is retarded !

    ReplyDelete
  17. Worst episode ever, they truly just keep getting worse and worse. Time to quit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. cannot be done without boosters. And even with them you need a very lucky board to pass.
Then again, we keep collecting boosters more and more, so they need to be used as well.
I would prefer more skill requirements instead of just picking the right set of boosters and resetting the board endlessly

    ReplyDelete
  19. I play this on the iPad and after many tries I decided to use 1 fish booster cause that's all the boosters I have and reset the game until I had at least 2 possible moves around the spawner and a couple above the blockers that would start to clean out the blockers. I did 2 moves above the blockers and then did 3 moves around the spawner. I made a couple of stripes that took out the spawner and I was left with about 25 moves to clear the jelly! This is a level you must pay close attention to what's on the board so you can make striped candies to knock out the spawner quickly. Thought I'd be on this level forever but by using this strategy I was on it for less than 3 hours. Good luck!

  20. Oh the tedium & frustration. Got down to one jelly & activated a lollipop hammer. It whacked the jelly then the screen froze. Had to switch off & on again &'of course i wasn't credited with passing this horrible level.mhoping a post will get me through. Annie

    ReplyDelete
  21. Thought I'd try posting for luck since this is an impossible level.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fuming! Been on this level for days and getting nowhere, finally completed using two lollipops and the screen froze so I can't move on. Fed up playing this same horrible game!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I have a totally different board on my mobile. No spawner ...

    ReplyDelete
  24. I had the pass then freeze problem too. There are too many levels now whe you know that however hard you try you won't get through until King says you can. No fun anymore. I can't see any point in continuing to play. Annie

    ReplyDelete
  25. Here you go King... Take your game & stick it! The chocolate multiplies so quickly that you don't have a fighting chance. If there were only 3 seconds extra your players would have a fair chance of at least coming close. I'm sick & tired of your money grubbing thinking. Yes... You give free boosters but how many of your players are realizing (like I do) that your games are unwinable without them now. Deleting your app... Tired of the "angry quit". No... Make that sick & tired!

  26. Horrid level. Finally beat it by starting with a sprinkle bomb and wrapped candy next to each other. I fully prepared to use candy hammers if needed to get the annoying jellies but fortunately the board played out in my favor and I didn't have to use any hammers. Glad this level is over.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I've also been wondering about this "reset" way of getting your candies next to each other for a good combo. So I'm playing on the I-phone. If I go to the yellow and black arrow on the left corner and then click on the bottom option, a back arrow, are you saying that my boosters chosen for the previous game will still be there? It doesn't seem possible since the booster options appear again. Would love help figuring this out.

    1. You select your boosters then 'play'.If you don't like the way they are positioned or if you want them next to each other...go 'back'.A new board appears with the boosters in a new position. You do not lose the boosters nor your life. You can do this many times until you lucky

  30. It has been a good run, I have gotten a lot of enjoyment playing cc. I wanted to thank you Ms Kirby. I have enjoyed your comments. They have been exceedingly helpful. Pretty sure I would not have made it this far without the helpful suggestions from you and the other covers. This level made me realize I am no longer enjoying the game. I burned my boosters and deleted the app. Good luck to all!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I've tried with boosters (color bomb + striped and wrapped + fish) and without boosters and have gotten within 2-4 jellies without them over a few dozen tries. Unfortunately my attempts to win +5 moves has been fruitless so I still haven't passed this level.

However, what Cookie fails to mention is that the evil spawner can be helpful. If you have a few special candies at the top ready to fire, you can wait until the spawner turns the bottom section into chocolate, which is easier to break through than the meringue blockers. I've had more luck destroying the spawner relatively late in the game than destroying it with 21 moves to go and having to hit the blockers several times before getting to the jelly underneath.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I agree with some of the comments that CC has taken away the fun. Still don't know why I continue to try though, maybe because I'm retired and play when idle. Don't know but need to convince myself it's time to quit and get on with life.

  34. Isn't it funny when you almost get a real hard level.....the screen freezes....I'm going to level 2000' if I ever get past this level and I'm done....I honestly spend too much time playing this game....which btw, they have taken the fun away

    ReplyDelete
  35. I posted 20 mins ago how it seems funny when you're just about to get a hard level, it freezes...well, it happened again. I decided to try more boosters to get past this, used a speckled ball with a stripe and wrap, it was position perfectly together....blew up half the board..kept playing and ran out of moves but had a stripe and wrap together...so I used 9 free bars to get extra moves....made the play and as it was about to wipe out the two jellies I had left.....BOOM...screen freezes.....I'm done....play fair King

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think cc will be the looser here.
These stupid levels are all to often . Anyone know of any other games to play that are fun and have a bit of brain power in them as ccis getting so boring .

    ReplyDelete
  37. Screen keeps freezing. This level sucks anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  38. recently had surgery and this level is impossible

    ReplyDelete
  39. I honestly thought this game would get changed but here I am still playing the impossible game. I've thrown boosters in at the beginning but even with a colour bomb/wrapped combo I didn't get any where near finishing. Once I had a lucky board and finished with the help of lollipop hammers but the screen froze.
Over never quit anything without finishing but I'm getting very close to quitting candy crush, it's just no fun playing an infuriating game day in day out.

  40. ...not possible on android .. never close enough on pc .. wtf are these ppl thinking creating levels that are turning longtime players away?
Perhaps that's their intention but there's better things to do with one's spare time than getting pissed off and utterly frustrated because these ppl decided to create a level that's impossible to win ... so Tata ..

    ReplyDelete
  41. I give up - it can't be done.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm still trying to finish this very boring level . And I refuse to buy anymore gold bars. As all that happens is it will freeze . That's according to what I'm reading . Congratulations to those that have finished this level. As I recon this time next year that is if I'm still playing this stupid game I'll still be here .
What is wrong with you cc.

    ReplyDelete
  43. King has become impossible to deal with. I have been shorted ny 50 gold bars twice for $4.98 each time and can't get an answer from them! I have deleted my debit card now, so that this can never happen again. I have used up all my boosters on previous levels, as this seems to be what they are striving for! I will now give them one more day to respond before I say goodbye forever! The games they are playing with us who play faithfully, such as easier levels, more lives on PC, less colors on some devices and on and on...Why are any of us still playing?

    ReplyDelete
  44. 1969 level so predictable to lull you into false sense of potential achievement - can guarantee where hopeful bombs etc will be to absolutely no subsequent avail - flatly refuse to pay to progress - no fun any more - do king ever read these comments ?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not even slightest chance to maKe significant move to advance .....come on enough already - bled dry !

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't see anyone has mentioned this, but the chocolate growing one by one would be enough to deal with but 5 or 6 chocolates at once, impossible. I find I give up long before my lives are done. No use to waste my time finishing when chocolate starts to cover up the top portion of the board. They may lose a lot of us on this level unless it changes! I will be one! See ya! Not only was I stupid enough to by extras, 50 bars twice, but my account never got the credit and King won't respond! That is in itself, a reason to leave!

  47. Finally completed this level!!!!
After using all my lollipop hammers only to lose them when the game froze I waited until I won a stripe/wrapped combo on the daily wheel. Started off with all three boosters, reset until the colour bomb and wrapped were side by side and blasted the board on first move, the fish pretty much took care of the rest. Finished with 5 moves left and got three stars, was it worth it? No! I've been stuck for over a week, anymore games like this and I'll lose the will to keep playing, was very close to quitting on this one.
I play on an iPad, keep going folks, it can be done.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Started with a colour bomb and candy stipe/wrapped combo. Just keep resetting your board until you get the bomb and wrap next to the spawner (or use the hand swap to get them there). Havent got the booster - then go back to a previous level and earn the drops to get them!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Played for many times in phone and iPad. No use. Agree with all who are unhappy with this level. Boosters are over. Not getting stripe n wrapped booster. Wonder by seeing the videos how it is possible without booster. Waitingggggggggg.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It's only tricky because they don't give you enough moves and the right colors you stupid cunt. I should write your stupid repetitious bullshit you call advice.

    ReplyDelete
  51. i don't have the time or effort to play this anymore. Impossible to pass as a casual player and I don't have money to give to them so they let me pass. Moving on as I already deleted this slot machine app. It was fun when it involved skill but now it's ONLY about how much time or money you have. I don't have either so I'm out.

  53. For God's Sake!!!
Totally fed up and coming nowhere close!!!

  54. I'm going into my 3rd week with this level. I have used up all of my boosters, so it looks like I'm doomed. Someone mentioned how the chocolate multiplies. Just one chocolate at a time would help tremendously.... at least we'd have a chance. But when it spews out 5 chocolates at a time, well, that's just ridiculous. I agree with those voicing how CC just isn't fun anymore. To play the same level over and over for several weeks is very tedious. I've come this far, but I don't know how much more I can stand...
The developers of these nearly impossible levels must be from another planet!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Sick of playing boring levels over and over for days. It has become a chore instead of fun, especially such levels as this one. It would be different if one could at least come close but these are impossible...and zero fun. Time for a new game, no more King games.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I've beat this level twice on my Samsung tablet and the next level 1970, but the progress won't sync with FB giving me credit for it when I play on my iPad or PC. Can't beat it on the iPad, any thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  57. I've been having endless problems with CC lately you win boosters and don't recieve them. And on hard levels you need all the boosters you can get. This level is ridiculous. Over these boring levels. Much more and I'm calling it quits.

    ReplyDelete
  58. It used to be if you hit a choc square it wont grow on the next turn but it just keeps growing. Impossible :(

    ReplyDelete
  59. More fuckery outta King!! I'm not understanding why this level not marked as a hard level.....

    ReplyDelete
  60. I chose the color bomb, stripe/wrap and fish boosters. I combined the color bomb with the stripe with 11 of the same color, but the chocolate overcame and the fish hardly got to activate. Then I chose the same three, matched the color bomb with 11 wraps and came to within one of completing. I had no hammers left. Grrrrr.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I blogged after failing twice using 3 boosters. I switched to my iphone where I had more switches and hammers. Using the same color bomb, stripe/wrap, and fish, I combined the color bomb with the wrap, had enough good combos where I got rid of all the jellies without needing the hammer or switches. Go figure!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Need an extremely lucky board.

    ReplyDelete
  63. COME ON KING TECHS....it's time to go back to making this game fun while challenging. Appears there are too many levels where we have to wait for that "lucky board",

    ReplyDelete
  64. ANOTHER RIDICULOUS LEVEL!

    ReplyDelete
  65. WOOOHOOOO - after practically giving up on this level, and several dozen boosters/games wasted, I finally got one of those magic boards. And on Android, no less.

With the fish booster on my side, I got 3 stars and finished with moves to spare. The "deciding factor" was that the spawner was blown up in the first 6 moves, then 3 natural color bombs formed from cascades, one of which was next to a wrap candy, which reached all the corners of the board.

    ReplyDelete
  66. From one idiotic episode to the next more idiotic level. Complete lack of creativity on the part of the designers. If the CC management does not replace these idiots with a more creative bunch it would be time for them to close the store due to gradual loss of players. The just lost me anyway....!

  67. This was looking almost impossible. Playing on the PC so can't reset. If I play on android none of my boosters are available. There was never more than one move, if any, at the start next to the spawner and the chocolate would take over. After several tries I did get the spawner and cleared all but two of the jellies. So I tried the fish booster but I was back to no moves next to the spawner. Added in a sprinkle. Still not luck. Tried all three boosters but the chocolate still took over. Did eventually get it with sprinkle and fish but it's all luck.

  68. I need help cc.

  69. Such a hard level. Chocolates take over the board.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Had two color bombs together and that still didn't help. Tough level.

    ReplyDelete
  71. The most frustrating level I've played in CC. HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT...
I've wasted all my boosters for nothing. Quiting the game is my next thought.
No help at all your advice Ms. Cookie...
I've had two colored bombs together and still I lost. HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT...

  72. After a lot of cursing I passed this nasty level but I don't know how...Probably I got a lucky board. I goy 324,080 points.
I'll remember this level for a long time. JUST HORRIBLE...

    ReplyDelete
  73. Not fun. And tired of the 1900 levels. I guess they ran out of ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Used all 3 boosters then reset until speckled ball next to wrapped candy. There were 2 of the wrapped color next to spinner so it got hit twice. Then I hit the spinner 3 times with lollipop. No chocolate to deal with so clearing was easy.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It worked to take the first 2-3moves on top to hit the blockers and then make hits on the spawned. I reset until there were opening moves both top and bottom and once the chocolate was gone it was easy to get all the jelly. It looked ghastly the first 3 times I tried this level but this strategy worked for me.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Tried it without boosters several times and was always 4-5 moves short.
This is not an impossible level as others mentioned all that is needed is to use the 3 boosters available.
Reset the color bomb till it matches the wrap and make sure that there are enough like colors on the board and around the spawner. I combined, the spawner went kaput and the rest of the board was wide open with most of my moves left. Simple cc game left with the fish taking care of hard to reach jellies. Onward to the next one then will play the sugar cube 180 to increase booster cache.

    ReplyDelete
  77. took Cookie's advice to take two moves at the bottom and then try to break thru at the top-used only the fish booster but it helped quite a bit when matched with a striped candy. Used one hammer also. These levels have been tough!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Why is this not even labeled as HARD? I got through the hardest levels easier than this one.
