Candy Crush Saga Level 1990 tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1990 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1990 is a dual task level, you have to collect the 4 cherries and clear all the jelly.
To clear the jelly you need to clear the cake bombs as there is jelly under them. When you clear the cakes the cherries will fall down through the exits without much help form you so you can more or less forget about them.
Working in the bottom will bring the candies down from the top, so you can get stripes and combos into position to hit the cakes by making them in the top half and dropping them down into position.
Because there are only 4 colours on the board it is very easy to make special candies and combos, but this often works against you as the combos easily self destruct as you are getting them in position.
A coconut wheel booster can be helpful on level 1990 if you are having trouble clearing the cakes.

I'm surprised there are no comments. I don't get the coconut wheel as a booster and I am struggling to clear the bottom cakes. I guess I'll wait for the lucky boarD AGAIN.I suppose we should all be used to that by now. Good luck.

Use the fish booster which will help clear parts of the cakes when activated. Try not to activate the fish too soon into the game or they will clear candy rather than parts of the cake. The cakes must be cleared for the fruit to drop down. Also have some hammers saved up to smash what's left near your last move. NC

Got a lucky board 1st go! Managed to clear the top 2 cakes, then used a hammer on each of the bottom cakes, then 1 switch to clear the last jelly. Good luck

Between one game and another, ALL my boosters have gone.... 200 plus of each. What on earth? Any suggestions? Apart from give up on CC and get a life?

Does anybody have any tips for level 2005? Totally impossible with 15 moves

The same happened to me, bastards

Coconut wheel and fish. The fish was worth its weight in gold (even if it wasn't actually a gold fish). Second try, three stars.

I tried the Coconut wheel by itself many times, to no avail. Finally I tried the Coconut Wheel and the fish booster, and I still needed two hammers to beat this level.

Only 34 moves on iPad...please correct...

Grrr...still having problems with the level to load. Keeps going back to the play screen!

Anonymous said...

Anyone else having the above problem? Or maybe a suggestion to fix this? Very frustrating!

THIS IS RIDICULOUS, CANT EVEN GET TO PLAY. SCREEN JUST GOES BLACK. HAS TO BE A KING GLITCH!

Here we go again! Only 34 moves on PC not 40 as in the video. Friggin' ridiculous. Not much bloody point showing a video that has more moves which makes it easier to get through.

By now you should know that when they first release the level is when Ms.Cookie plays and after a week they adjust it. She is a good player as she can see many moves ahead so I'm sure she could do it in 34 moves too. Would that really help?

fun level- BUT it took me forever! No good hints-just keep playing. Coconut wheel was only help.

cherylcandycrush here.

Enjoyable, fair level but harder than I expected.

The fish and coconut wheel boosters used together are what got me through-they don't get generous with the fish though till towards the last move. I also used a lollipop hammer to finish & still only got one star.

Only advice-if you get a horizontal stripe in a spot that will help clear eg the bottom of the top cakes, try to detonate it there.

Seriously, why do I watch these videos? The demonstration is nearly always a hugely lucky board that most of us never get. It's like watching a Bowflex ad and assuming you're going to look like that person after only 20 minutes 3 times per week. Also, this person clearly has all the time in the world to ponder every move. Mere mortals who have jobs and lives can't spend 5 or 6 seconds on every move. Yet I keep watching and continue to fail the levels.

That is not a lucky board if you use boosters

Yea stole boosters game dumb glad hardly play boring

Ms. Cookie is a very skilled player and it's impossible for us to clear a level by watching her video. We have to wait for a lucky board.

When you don't have any boosters left, this is impossible without a little help. Help is what I need to pass this level. Help!!

I don't think you can be a skilled player yes you can make good choices with what's on the board but as you don't know what colours are going to drop you can't predict future moves. So it's basically a luck thing. Yet again more moves on the video why are later players being punished????? Very unfair...

Very difficult level. Need more moves or something. I’ve only gotten close once. Frustrating.
