Candy Crush Saga Level 2043 tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2043 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
At first glance it seems impossible to collect the ingredient from the top of the board.. How on earth do you clear those blockers in so few moves?
The answer is the Evil Spawners (magic mixers) The spawners will cover the blockers with licorice and leave you to clear the licorice so that the ingredient can slip down past the spawners that are left and out of the exit.
Of course you need some luck as the spawners also spawn marmalade, but as long as you don't make matches next to the top spawner it will eventually cover up the blockers and give you a chance to get the ingredient down.
You can hit the bottom spawners a few times and clear at least one to give the ingredient room to fall down, but you don't need to clear them all, the ingredient will slip down diagonally as long as there are empty cells for it to fall into.
Once the blockers are gone a strip/wrap combo is good for getting the ingredient, or just a wrapped candy by the exit may work if the way isn't blocked by marmalade.

  1. 1) The top spawner won't cover the top blocker unless the cell under it is blocked with licorice. If you make a move that lets that licorice fall out, the spawner will keep putting licorice in that cell and never over the top blocker.
    2) You do have to clear one of the lower spawners; they cover the exits.

This is an extremely frustrating level. Thank heaven for boosters; I am very short on patience with CC these days.

    1. I tried Cookie's strategy dozens of times and that top blocker was never covered with licorice. So I changed my approach and matched a striped with a color bomb at the beginning of the game that knocked out the blocker and allowed the cherry to slip down next to the top magic mixer. After that, I had an easy time getting the cherry down with a combo.

  3. What happens in the video example hasn't happened once for me! The licqourice goes elsewhere and jelly blocks the column. Impossible or fluke of luck needed

    1. Pure luck - rather lack of luck for me. One ridiculous level after the other.

  4. First ever post on here to help! :) I hit the top spawner once before it spawns to free up the space just above it - that way it has to be licorice that goes there, not jelly. After that, spend a few moves hitting one of the bottom spawners or setting up combos. Usually the top spawner covers the top blocker with about 7 moves left, leaving you 7 moves during which you need to get one of the bottom two spawners blown up; if you do this with a normal move where it explodes and three jellies need to fall, it can be quick to win. Hope this helps

  5. This is really hell. An awefull episode, amazing, I'm surprised how they can make it this difficult.

The issue here is to not touch the top spwaner and let it get rid of the top blocker. When that is done, work your ass off to get the fruit down. Try to save a wrapped or stripe and mix it with a coulour bomb, use a hand or lolly to make the combination, asap: Cascades make explode your extra's very quick.

Got lucky with a coulor bomb/stripe combination in the last move.

    Good luck from the Netherlands!

  6. Used the coconut wheel booster. 1st time the game only gave me 1 wheel, 2nd try and the game gave me many wheels and they did the trick...with 5 moves left.

  7. Brillant hint! Thank you all. I was trying to CLEAR the blocker under the cherry, instead of letting the Evil Spawner turn it into a licorice. It was still kinda hard to finish the level, but wow....it sure helped!! One star, but I'll take it! = )

  8. i spend like more than 20 coconut wheel not even closed, stupid level ! i am sure there will be more stupid and impossible level coming, might as well quit this game now !

  9. I honestly don't understand how to pass this one. I feel very stupid!

  10. I play on iPad and have watched the video several times. I have followed the suggestions and NOT ONCE has the top spawner covered the blocker and turned it into licorice!! And I have totally avoided making matches up there! Is this a glitch?? What am I doing wrong?? I've cleared the lower spawner to create a path but the cream up top never goes away:(

  11. Wasted so many coconut wheels but didn't even come close ..didn't either succeed in the spawner covering the blocker with licorice., so just smashed the blocker with hammers, cleared the upper and one lower spawner, used handswitches and brought the cherry to the exit .Disgusting level..Crossed finally !

  12. I have tried everything and not even close. This is the end of Candy Crush for me.

      See you next Wednesday...

    2. Well said, I'm sick of these help pages being full of quitters comments, quit if they want but I'm not interested. This level for once involves some skill as well as luck, which people have been asking for, read the help given if you haven't worked it out, it becomes easier then. It still took me a few days to do it but with careful use of boosters could be done quicker if that's the way you choose.

  13. Nowhere near, at least 50 attempts, well done King, you've broken my candycrush habit, bye bye.

  14. Just finishimg using tablet and had a go at this level found 50 moves available, why the difference phone only 20. Completed 2nd attempt.

  15. Shit level is ridiculous. The top spawner spits out licorice everywhere but where i need it too. This is a joke. Just might be the end of CC for me :(

    ReplyDelete
  16. Patience is the key for this level. You have to keep watching the top of the board for the blocker to get covered with licorice while you work to make special candies and hit one of the two spawners at the bottom. I focused on the one on the right. Once the top blocker got covered with licorice I used special candies to clear and the cherry dropped out. The very first post by Lucia explains clearly. I didn't use boosters. Rather unnecessary. Just don't give up, it will work.

  17. Candy crush use to be fun but this last episode is just to pathetic what happened to the fun levels this level is pure shit

    ReplyDelete
  18. This level is a joke. Licorice has never covered the blocker below the cherry. Frustrating yet again.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Started with a sprinkle and coconut wheel. The coconut broke a layer of icing under cherry, the sprinkle matched with a stripe. Needed 1 lollipop to break a jelly on the exit route. Good luck all, it is possible!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm so sick of this whole saga. The entire thing is luck and not enough movies. I hope candy crush does better because I'm loosing interest.

  21. Well, thanks to this blog, this wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Tried it in my own a few times, getting no where, read the helpful posts (rolled my eyes at the 'I am giving up on cc' posters, what a bunch of whiners). Played again, totally ignoring the top spinner and working on the bottom two, until I saw a licorice underneath the fruit, then got rid of the top one, the fruit falls and worked on the bottom till it cleared.not easy, but plenty of moves, definitely doable. I don't get why everyone is in such a rush, you are basically at the top of the game levels, relax.

  22. I have played this one many times, I've read the tips many times, I have watched the video WHILE playing the level. I don't understand why I get marmalade instead of licorice under the ingredient. Wtf am I doing wrong?

  23. Same thing l have been also doing but it's a real frustrating level. How do they get ideas to invent such levels. Not able to do. No booster is helping me. Can you help me king?????????????????

  25. Hey, thanks, it worked!

  26. Going to have to gather up a lot of hammers to pass this one, getting bored playing it over and over will not getting close.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Has anyone passed on mobile? I had the licorice cover the square once but on pc, never on mobile

    ReplyDelete
  28. How I got to this stage is obviously a miracle, clearing the bottom spawns easily , read all the tips no licorice appearing above top spawn . Never not understood how to complete a game doh oh well keep trying I'm sure it will just happen

    ReplyDelete
  29. Got it on the third try after reading the comments without using boosters. Hit the top spawner once then concentrated on hitting the lower spawner without hitting the spawned jelly at the top. The spawner removed the blocker for me with 11 moves left. Then I focused on hitting the top spawner until it blew. Had 1 move left at the end.

Ya'll can do it! Keep trying different things and watch how the top spawner is filling up the board and try to keep a semi-open path to it when the blocker gets gobbled.

    ReplyDelete
  30. This advice is helpful and I follwed it to a T but could never get it to work. On the rare occasions when I could get a licorice under the cherry I was so out of moves I couldn't get it down, as other licorice blocked the exits. Or I couldn't get a stripe up high enough to get it. Most of the time I wasn't even close. Wasted boosters as they were no help. For the first time, I just hammered my way out. Too frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Honestly this is the worst level I've seen in a long time. This whole episode has been rough, but this one! I finally finished it by doing it on the phone and winning 15 extra moves on the wheel. Good riddance.

  32. Ugly level. Luck needed.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Has anyone passed this level on their iphone? I followed what everyone said but it doesn't ever spawn a licorice in that spot so I'm stumped.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Great tip about hitting the top spawner once and then moving to the bottom to let the licorice build up, took a good 20 tries to get it right as top kept producing matches without trying but eventually got there.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Found this pretty much impossible on my iPhone and got 2 stars on my first try on PC.

Just play on PC when you get a chance and move on with your lives!

  37. I finally passed with no boosters to start...do NOT make any matches by the top spawner so it continues to grow licorice...keep working on knocking out the lower spawner (I pretty much only played the right side)...once you see 2 licorice above the top spawner..work to blow that up...the candy dropped...had to use one hammer to lower candy again and got lucky to make a match by the last licorice to drop the candy with only 1 move left. Starting boosters didn't help me at all. Good luck.

  38. Used the coconut wheel it was useless lucky board please

    ReplyDelete
  39. The only nice thing I can say about this level is that it's given me a chance to use some of my many coconut wheels, however, I've now given up on them as they are useless.
Have tried not hitting the top spawned but time and time again I only have two moves left by time the licorice has done its job. Will keep trying but the fun has gone out of it now. K

    ReplyDelete
  40. 100% key to this level is to keep the Spinners intact and don't hit any of the blockers at all until they are covered with licorice. Then hopefully with some luck you will have about 7 moves to clear Licorice/jelly and set fruit free.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Why do we always have to wait for a lucky board these days. Not fun anymore

    ReplyDelete
  42. Another impossibly boring, frustrating level. I get marmalade not liquorice so cannot free the fruit!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Came amazingly close for the first time ever today, only needed one more move or a lollipop hammer or free switch but don't have any left after so many horrible levels. Will I ever get this close again? Feeling very frustrated. K

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wow! My last comment seems to have done the trick, I've finally finished this horrible level without boosters and with many thanks to the tips from everyone here. K

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well there is more than one way to kill a cat. I managed to combine colour and wrap and blew up two spawners and most of the blocks. Cleared the third spawner shortly after and the fruit popped out. Done

    Good luck from Manila

  46. Posting for luck while I try to stockpile several pounds of hammers. Not once has licorice covered the top blocker.

  47. Went crazy and "brute forced" my way through it this morning. Took 5 hammers and two switch hands. Two stars. Not proud of it, but it's in the rear view mirror now.

  48. This is such an awful level, came close once, but out of hammers. Posting for luck.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well I had to buy hammers to get past this and use up my hand switch, wasn't pretty.

  50. Three days, hours of free play, 20 coconut wheels! Used all 3 boosters, got chocolate ball next to stripe twice, destroyed top spinner and bottom one, was prepared to use hammer, but passed, good riddance to bad rubbish!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I read and watched the video. Got my lucky board which kept gifting me wheels but I still couldn't win.
I must not be understanding this game. Feeling really dumb.

  53. That'a it. I officially suck.

  54. I'm still stuck and I still don't understand.
I think this really is it for me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Help came and I still lost.. tear
I can't remember when I had so much trouble understanding how to beat a level. In a past even if I couldn't beat for a long time, at least I knew what I had to do. But this one I'm just clueless still.

    ReplyDelete
  56. If I had a ton of lollipops I'd just get rid of the top blocker - but I'd probably need at least 30... I've tried all these hints and I'm nowhere. This is the worst one yet. Plain stupid!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. I am personally having trouble understanding this level. If I could get licorice to cover the blocker I may have a chance but how do you get licorice I only seem to get jelly or the candy falls through and I am left with a blank space. One in every 10 games I delete only half way through am I missing something?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Forget this stupid crap game. I had it totally down next to where I blew the spawned away and it wouldn't go down the one last spot. POS game. No game should ever be this damn frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I had wasted dozens of boosters and lives on this level and figured it was impossible. Once I stopped trying to keep everything clear and get rid of the top and bottom spawners, but concentrated on the one bottom spawner it worked like a charm. No booster needed. Three games to get the licorice etc to behave and done.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It just sort of happened for me on the fifth attempt. Up till then I could get one of the bottom spawners but couldn't clear the blocker over the top one. I don't know why but the licorice didn't eat it but even if it had I couldn't get a stripe lined up to clear it. Final go I cleared one blocker at the bottom and also the top one. The fruit dropped down and I had a match with the next move to get the fruit off.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I was hoping to get to the end of Candy Crush, but these last 10 or so levels are just annoying. This is right on the pile. Plus, it is not even rated as a Hard level. I give up Candy Crush for Lent every year. Hopefully, I won't start playing again!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Euhm, second try? I blasted the top spawner first, and in detonating, it blew the blockers and dropped the fruit. Then I cleared one of the other spawners, and the fruit got cleared, three moves left.
    Weird?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Guess they made it easier as all I did was hit the top spawner until it exploded and the fruit dropped. Then did same to one bottom spawner and bingo with 13 moves left.

    ReplyDelete
  64. fruit keeps getting stuck in marmalade

  65. King may have revamped this level or I got a lucky board because I have to disagree with most of the posted suggestions especially cookies. I tried following them and got nowhere. Finally I used a coconut wheel which arrived at the top right hand of the board. It knocked out the tile blocking the cherry and hit the top spawner. After a number of moves I got another coconut wheel on top left and other moves that destroyed to spawner. Cherry simply slid down. Totally easy. So I would give that method a try by resetting coconut wheel until it's at the top and then destroy that top spawner and see if it works for you too
