Candy Crush Saga Level 2138 tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2138 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
50 moves may seem quite a lot of moves for a jelly level, but with popcorns, chocolate and marmalade to clear you may need every one of them.
First get the chocolate out of the way to give you space to work. While you are clearing the chocolate using combos you should be growing some of the popcorns, at least the ones in the bottom right.
Depending on how many colour bombs you get from the popcorn at any one time you can either use them on a single colour to grow the frog, or switch two together to get a whole board clearance.
Switching two colour bombs together will grow the frog as well as grow all the remaining popcorns by one stage.
Use wraps to grow the popcorns when you get the chance, but by far the best method of clearing level 2138 is by switching colourbombs together.
The frog will also grow popcorns by one stage so you can use it to help grow the ones in the top left.

I am surprised there are no comments here as I have been stuck for a while here. I could have completed it with hammers and other boosters so perhaps that is what others have done. I just hate using them.

I post the comment above and complete the game at the very next attempt with 15 moves left. Spooky

This level sucks and is not called a difficult level !!!

I completed this level by starting with a color bomb and a striped/wrapped booster. (Forget about the chocolates because there are no jellies underneath them.) I reset until the color bomb is beside the wrapped candy.. Make sure there is candy of the same color in the upper left and lower right area. The wrapped candy explosion in the upper left area will grow the popcorns twice. I hammered the two popcorns and they become color bombs. Switch them and the two popcorns on the lower right will become color bombs side by side. Switch them to clear some more jellies. Then grow the frog and place them in the upper left to clear the remaining jellies there. I finished it with 42 moves to spare.

Candy Booster Saga. King sucks

It's an entirely different board on my kindle and phone. Level 2139 is different too.
they were easier to complete on the kindle. I did 2138 on the first try.

I started the same and ended with 45 moves left. There is no need to clear the popcorns in the lower right area. When I started there were about 5 candy's with the same colour as the wrapped in the upper left area. The rest was easy.

Perhaps the lamest one yet. Even the board itself was struggling to help me. Don't waste your starting boosters, lollipops and hand switches finally got me through. I used them up because i was going to stop playing, yes this level would have been the one...

If you can get a few hits on the popcorn and use a sprinkle and a candy the same color as the frog, it immediately turns the frog to a killer...put him by another popcorn that will turn into another sprinkle and use it with whatever the color the frog is now and it turns him into a killer etc etc. That's how I finally won it. I did start with a fish booster but not sure it helped. Clearing the chocolate to get at the frog was challenging. Good luck everyone.

Not sure if the developers read these comments but after days of the game crashing on my iPod, I went to play today and ALL my boosters are gone. I had so many that I earned and this will DEFINITELY cause me to end my journey with Candy Crush. It has been fun and they have taken my money but not sure what made them take the boosters. Some of the boosters I had over 50.

Great advice! Used sprinkle, stripe/wrap & fish. Reset until sprinkle and wrap. Fish picked up the last 2 jellies. Did not need to detonate the bottom 2 popcorns. happy to move on!

Resetting the board doesn't work when you're playing on the computer, so I guess I'm just stuck here waiting for a good board.

Finished this level without boosters and using a hammer to get a stripe and color bomb next to each other. I did previously use my boosters resetting until color bomb and wrap were next to each other but that did not help me.

How many times do we have to play this boring level.I dont mind hard but you have to play 100's of boards over and over and stuck for a number of days its time for lucky board and being able to move on.Just becomes a bore and hating this game.

I can't even come close to winning CC, what's up with that!!

Forget about the chocolate. Sprinkler and wrapped candy did the job for me -1st go after reading the blog. Thanks everyone for your contribution.

I think King should have covered all the playable fild with chocolate and relive us of this stupid game...

Anonymous said...

Would someone please explain how to "reset" the board? TIA.

Posting for luck on this horrible level, where I play and accomplish NOTHING! Can't accomplish anything with the chocolate, which limits the board to the right only to make combos to hit the popcorns...So tired of these levels you can play for days or weeks, just waiting for the lucky board! Bye bye CC and King!

I don't see how anyone can pass this level, it's impossible. Even if you do clear the chocolate, it's impossible to hit the blockers enough times to clear the sprinkles.

I'm stuck too:( and feeling hopeless. I read someone won without boosters so that kind of give me a faint light far far away in this dark tunnel. Usually an optimistic fan, but needing more than a luck. Cookie, please come over and beat this level for me.

Yay! Thank you, Cookie! You sent me the lucky board!
Finally beat it! So happy to moving on:)

It seems ridiculous to get this far and quit, but I have spent weeks on this level. I get about halfway through the moves, realize that it is impossible, and give up.

How the heck do you reset the board???

Anonymous said...

Jude, to reset: hit the play button first but don't make any moves if you don't like the board. In the bottom left corner of the game is a pink wheel with a flower. Click it and a back arrow pops up. Click it and start a new game.

This level is totally Lame! It's yet another lucky board. King just keeps getting worse trying to think up new levels. Reshuffles all thru the game, and talk about BORING!!! (yawn)

I have already lost several boosters....NO MORE! Money grubbers KING
This level sucks !!

Oh my....terrible level. Even my 7 year old Grandson doesn't want to play this level because it's "too boring" .... go figure !

Dear Anon: from Jan 2 post : RESET board by clicking on the pink wheel in the left bottom corner of the game. A red back arrow comes up, click that to end game. A new board will come up. You can't make any moves though. And will only work on a mobile device without losing a life.

posting this one for luck....

Wow. This one is a toughie. Can barely get to the frog on most tries.

I got one try where I had just four popcorn left and was going to "go for it" and blow a few hammers and switches to get it done, but somehow lost track of the moves and ran out, oh so close. Very mad at myself for spacing out there.

Any tips?

Mad Man said...

Woohoo, got the lucky board on the next try! Had a SW combo to hit the right two of the popcorns on the left side, then at move 25 a sprinkle dropped next to a green wrapped with a ton of greens in the upper left, and that was all she wrote. Was done two moves later.

Would strongly recommend starting with a sprinkle next to a wrap, as long as left side has plenty of the wrap color.

I feel like the key here may be to ignore getting to the frog and just try to hit the popcorn directly, make a double sprinkle and then the frog is in play.

Another terrible level. Video has a lot of cascades and luck to get two chocolate sprinkles together. Not having that luck.

Anonymous said...

Got the chocolates but no luck with the popcorns . Have to hit them so many times, this level is almost impossible.

Anonymous said...

Wasn't having any luck with the popcorn until I had a sprinkle next to a wrap the same colour as several marmalade covered jellies top left. That started opening up that corner. A stripe/wrap opened two popcorn so matched those sprinkles which opened two at the bottom right.

Acquired the most powerful helmet thing. Started with a fish booster and Reset until wrapped and sprinkle were together and same colour was in both top left and bottom right. Started and finished with 49 moves left. There is hope. The helmet is very very useful for these later levels. Wonder how long before they take it away.

Suzie O said...

Did they make this super easy now?? I think I only had 3 moves before I won. Started with sprinkle/wrap combo which left me with two sprinkles together. Switched them and and I had one jelly left, I couldn't believe it. I had two sprinkles from the popcorn but only needed one to use for the color that was in the one jelly. Didn't need the frog.

After reading this I got it first try. Focus on getting two sprinkles together. And try to get color bomb and sprinkle together. I beat it with 5 moves left
