Candy Crush Saga Level 2149 Tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2149 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2149 is a dual task level, you have to collect two cherries as well as clear all the jelly.
The first cherry is on the board to begin with so just let it travel along the conveyor for the time being.
You will need to unlock the bombs in each side before they count down and they will hopefully be eaten by the chocolate.
The cherries follow a complicated path from the top to the exit. To get the cherries to the exit first you need to make moves under the teleports on the main part of the board when the cherry is over the portals. From the main board the cherries go down from the bottom right into the bottom row, from there they go to the right column and then over to the left and down to the exit.
For each move through the portals the cherry will only go through if there is an empty space for it to go to, so timing is important.
The second cherry will only drop once the first one is off the board and you MUST move the candy under the dispenser top right so there is room for it to fall down. Use a colour bomb if you can make one to clear the candy out of the way. The second cherry will follow the path of the first.
The jelly will be cleared as you work on getting the cherries out of the exits.

This level is ridiculous. No fun in this one.

finally beat this after several tries. key was getting color ball and striped pair that matched the color of the bombs. Also, wraps with stripes on the bottom to get the lowest jellies.

Can Candy Crush please pass this for me I have just about had it and probably will be giving up on this BABY.

getting fed up with this game !

I think this one is the worst of all. I am never going to get off this one, it is too hard! They better make it easier on phone or I am quitting. Sad that I got this far!

Anonymous said...

Yet another absurd level which requires pure luck! Waste countless lives hoping for a lucky board layout. Fix this SH*T!

2149 is actually 2150 on my iPad and 2150 is 2147. I never looked till I got to 2150 and knew I had played it earlier so not sure if others are okay. 2150 will be viewed frequently to get a cherry route.

I tried it several times and the bomb killed my game. What to do here is to start with a bang. What I mean with a bang is to start with a color bomb and a striped/wrapped booster and reset until the color bomb and the striped candy are side by side. Make sure there is a candy (which is the bomb in this case) of the same color as the stripe. If you are lucky, the bomb will turn into a stripe vertically and clear some of the chocolates. Once the bombs are gone, your work will be much easier.

There is a bug at this level where if you have a special candy in the bottom conveyor, like a color bomb, if you activate it against the candy next to it, it just disappears and does not have the desired effect. Cost me a no-booster win. Sigh. This was playing on the Windows 10 mobile version. Not sure if it applies to other platforms.

this level is a major disrespect to all players of this game
still not paying a penny to such silly gamedevelopers!

I hate spawners and I hate chocolate, but I hate this level more. I think I am ready to quit. I'm over this game.

Anon said...

Worst level ever!I got through it paying my way buying more moves and using a lot of boosters.I couldn't remember which port was next !Too much bullcrap in this level.I don't think I can take much more of this kinda cheating from King!

Anonymous said...

This is easier on PC as the coconut wheel is available as a booster and it is not available on iPhone. Got it second try with coconut wheel + fish.

Anonymous said...

Finally got rid of the first cherry and the second one never fell. Almost impossible to get rid of one cherry and you have to blow up the fruit below the dispenser to get the second one out !!!
Why not make it really hard and reduce the amount of moves to 5.

Anonymous said...

After playing many times on Android and on the PC I finally got lucky on the PC with many stripe/wrap combos and color bombs. I nearly blew it though. When I got the second fruit I thought I was done without even using boosters, but I had one jelly left with few moves and no hammers left! I gambled buying extra moves with my gold bars and luckily was able to get it.

Maureen said...

So disgusted with this level. I had all cleared to only one fruit with 37 moves to go.... Fruit didn't appear till I was down to 7 moves... So mad

Martha said...

I think I have a glitch in this level. I only had one more fruit with 7 moves left. But the 2nd fruit never entered the board!
Has anyone else had this happen?

Jeff said...

Martha- to get the second fruit to drop, you need to clear the candy in the far right corner of the upper row = the one with the little fruit dispenser above it.

Lorraine said...

Horrible level can't even get close. Boring waiting for that lucky board.

Pati said...

same here, playing on Android phone and fire tablet

Martha said...

Thanks Jeff! Still plugging along on this very difficult level!

Anonymous said...

Why must they make levels that are impossible to pass! It is no fun!!!!

Anonymous said...

UGH! I used a swap and my last four hammers to get through it at last. After I got the second cherry down, I didn't think I could stand to let it go so decided to spend the hammers. Carol, the elder

Anonymous said...

PS, to above comment, I also started with all three boosters!

Unknown said...

Yes..twice I had this happen. Everything cleared and waited for 2nd cherry to drop and never did..I about done

Anonymous said...

My second cherry didnt drop for ages and by the time it did all my moves were used up. my sprinkle down at the bottom cleared nothing, just a dud/ i am almost done, too many bugs in the last bunch of levels and near impossible. no way to treat loyal players!

Anonymous said...

Aaaaaagh

billyrabbit said...

Only getting past the bombs about every 10th try, this is getting really boring now.

Unknown said...

This level is horrible. I got the first cherry to fall, but the other one never appeared in20+ moves, no matter what I did. This is the first time I have felt like giving up on the game, as it seems impossible to beat.

Kevin said...

I don't know why everyone is moaning to be honest. It's hard, yes, but very doable. There are plenty of moves, so it just needs a bit of skill applied. Took me about 10 goes, without boosters. The hardest part is getting the bombs out of the way before they explode. Try to get a stripe and sprinkle combo as early as possible, especially a stripe the same colour as bombs on each side. With a bit of luck the stripes will go vertically and clear most, or all of the chocolate. Anyone who has made it this far in CC should be able to do this one, trust me. It's by no means the worst level we've faced.

Anonymous said...

After hundreds of tries, finally managed to get one fruit gone and used hammer under the fruit dispenser for the second one to fall, a few moves moved it down got lucky with a +5 spin, but still used all my hand switches and hammers to be done. I thought this one was very difficult and thanks for some of your tips. Good luck everyone.

AZBLUE said...

First launch your boosters. Keep re sething the board till a sprinkle and stripe can be swapoed. Play this game very slow like a chess game. Drop tge first cherry to the conveyer belt. Make moves under to drop down. When it's in the last corner look at top right and try to make a move to drop at least on candy on the right column. Might have to use a hammer. I had to use 3 hand swiPes to create sprinkles and 2 hammers to beat on the third time. Also lucky board has to follow. This a very hard and tricky level so u must use boosters or u will be stuck for a week and being I am 67 years young, I have no patience. In the end u will be very happy u beat this level. Good luck

Can't even get past the bombs.........I need to delete this game, taking far too much of my time, no fun any more...

Anonymous said...

Terrible level!!!! I've exhausted my hand switches and lollipops!!!! Boring.

Anonymous said...

2nd cherry..........what 2nd cherry? Never appeared! Almost done with this.

Michelle said...

I never got a second cherry..
.stupid game

Michelle said...

cleared all blocks but no 2nd cherry

Anonymous said...

I finally got one cherry through, managed to get the next one on the board but with only a few moves left. This would be the worst level in some time, if not ever. I don't think it can be done without boosters and I have used all mine in trying. Horrible level.

Anonymous said...

If you Google the phrase "this sucks" it should take you right to this level. They could make it perfect by making the locked bombs 1 move.

Posting for luck.

Looks like they changed this level. Now it's only 1 fruit and no countdown bombs to start off. Has changed since this morning when I played. Hoping I can finally get thru this level.

Anonymous said...

I'm ashamed of myself. Resorted to buying hammers! This level was just so impossible. Wish I could quit...

nealmac1978 said...

they changed it much easier now

Michelle S. said...

I can't even get rid of he chocolate to clear the way for the cherry. There is the one spot that no stripes will reach? I don't understand. Also I keep seeing people say "reset the board". When I follow the instructions to do that you either get "play on" (bringing you right back to where you were) or exit and lose a life. Can someone please explain north of these things?

Michelle S. said...

Both. Not north. :)

Anonymous said...

GOT IT! Finally got some coconut wheels. Wheel and fish made the difference (also used two hammers). Glad to be through with this one.

Mrs M said...

Michelle, here's a link that explains "resetting" the game. Note that you have to be playing on a mobile device: http://candycrush-cheats.com/candy-crush-reset-board/

I finally passed it, too. They changed it and made it easier. Still had to use a hammer :(

Anonymous said...

Wtf is all I have to say..... 😣

Anonymous said...

I think it is really low to stop supporting the early devices. We are the people who made this game and now we can't play unless we buy a new IPad. Not happening. They could do the same in a couple of years. I have no problem playing any other game on my IPad mini. (Marj)

Been on this level for weeks and can't even get passed the bombs. Its still the same on my android with bombs and 2 fruits. Over it

Anonymous said...

Once again, very hard without a fish - very easy with one.

Good luck from Manila

Mad Man said...

I'm with Michelle S. I don't see any way to get that top left chocolate other than a double sprinkle, which is virtually impossible to get.

Mad Man said...

Turns out this level can be done without the double sprinkle. SW combo on the top or bottom rows of the main board area will get the pesky isolated squares on the upper left and lower right.

This was the most technically demanding level that I can recall. Started off resetting until getting a SW combo in the upper right in order to take out the chocolate on the isolated squares. From there I ignored the cherry and focused on making specials, using the conveyor to line up combos. It took a great deal of patience to wait for something useful rather than just firing something off because I could.

The key is focusing on the corners, relentlessly. The middle will take care of itself, and the outer edges will as well, with the exception of the squares near the corners.

Key moment: getting a sprinkle just above the conveyor, with two stripes on the conveyor. I kept killing time at the top until a stripe was next to the sprinkle AND the pattern was such that I would get vertical stripes on the side columns. This took nearly ten turns of nail-biting (worried I'd set off the sprinkle and/or stripes prematurely), but worked out in the end.

P.S. I'm VERY grateful to not have encountered this level with the bombs and two cherries. That was ridiculous.

"If you are lucky, the bomb will turn into a stripe vertically..."

Not so! It's not luck, it's a knowable pattern.

First candy in upper left is horizontal, next is vertical, and so on, skipping the one that is activated, which disappears, and sugar drops, which don't convert into stripes.

iPhone/no boosters/2 stars

Anonymous said...

2 Lollipop hammers to clear the top impossible to reach chocolate, and one other, in the left column, a lot of lucky cascades, and two very lucky cascade-formed sprinkles next to stripes.

Anonymous said...

Got it first attempt. Maybe I was just lucky.

Had the cherry waiting to go down the right side but the chocolate was blocking it. Luckily a sprinkle/wrap destroyed the remaining chocolate and the sides started moving. A stripe/wrap finished it off.

Unknown said...

There has not been a single level in this episode that has been fun. How is it possible to get the top chocolate on theeft hand side?

Anonymous said...

Not only is this level TERRIBLE, it's HORRENDOUS,

Anonymous said...

Wow.....had to use to hammers, but I passed this dreadful level!

Anonymous said...

Posting for luck.

The only way to pass this level is with two sprinkles. That is only f* luck... :/

OMG this could be the end...

Ugh, how many ridiculous levels in a row can there be?!?! I'm playing on an iPhone and my board does not have bombs, just regular candies and chocolate in the columns. The candies are not "caged" in so the chocolate immediately covers them so then it's impossible to clear the very top one in the left column. I have no idea how to complete this. :(

Anonymous said...

It's not that hard. The key is to smash the top blocker of each side column so candy can flow down them. You will need a stripe/sprinkle combo pretty much. I had no boosters left, but easily made a sprinkle then waited to make a stripe and conveyored them together. Focus on nothing but clearing the sides, especially the blockers. By the time you get the sides clear, the cherry should be in the bottom row. Make all the bombs and stripes you can but don't blow anything up. When the cherry is in the last column (with the transporter) blow everything up, and the cherry will fall most of the way through both sides. Then it's a cleanup operation. Made it on the third try after reading AZBLUE's comments above with no boosters.

Judy said...

I don't understand how to get the second cherry to drop. I've cleared the board fully. Used a color bomb for the candy under the dispenser. Just got another candy. Tried this multiple times. I'm out of hammers. Will try to get one and try that next.

Agree that the top left chocolate can be tricky, but I can see how that can be done. Just can't figure out how to get the second cherry to show up. Watching the video doesn't help - a color bomb worked just fine for that one.

And what's with the comments that says the level was changed to have only one cherry? Not my version!

Judy said...

Good grief. Maybe it DID change to one cherry and I had a jelly left which is why I didn't win. On my last try, I got the cherry and exploded the candy under the dispenser 7 times. Suddenly I had a Sugar Crush. I wasn't looking at the jelly level - must have finished them all off.
Oh well, like Lubbock, this one is best seen through a rear view mirror.

I'm just wondering how much money it costs to pass these difficult levels. Early on I used to buy lives and/or boosters, but decided a year ago to stop that practice. Ever since, I've had a very hard time passing levels. It takes at least 100 tries per level to pass. On this particular level, I wish I could get numerous sprinkles on every move - just like in the video, but I guess I just can't afford it.....

Judy said...

Lucy9673 - I have not paid for any boosters in a very long time. I go back and win three levels in a row by going back to very easy levels. That gives me a color bomb, I wrap, a stripe, and three extra booze. That usually does the trick. I also get my daily booster by spinning the wheel.

Lucy9673 said...

Playing this level is like playing the New England Patriots - no matter what you do, you are not going to win.

Judy said...

Darn. I meant "boosters", not "booze".

Judy said...

Oh, good grief! That was supposed to be "three extra moves".

Milkman said...

Best advice for this one is to watch the video till you understand how the cherries fall through the board.
