Candy Crush Saga Level 2424 tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2424 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have only 14 moves to clear all the jelly and complete level 2424 Candy Crush Saga.
This is not as hard as it sounds although you do need a bit of luck as well as some planning.
The bottom and top sections are not connected so moves you make in the bottom half of the board will have no effect on the top half etc.
However the left and right sides are connected through the portals. For this reason you should try to work in the right side sections as much as possible, this will bring candies from the left side down and create mini cascades which will clear jelly faster than trying to clear it with your moves only.
There are only two colours on the board so the likelihood is that you will get matches in both sections as long as you work on the right.
You will need some wrapped candies to clear the blocker and jelly in the middle square and this is where you need a bit of luck.
With careful planning you can make the wraps happen, even though you can't actually make them by switching. Look at the candies in the opposite square and you can see what will come through the portal and make wraps that way, although with a bit of luck they will happen anyway. With only 2 colours it is hard to avoid getting at least some wraps.

Oh, yes, it is as hard as it sounds, and it needs a LOT of luck.

What Cookie fails to mention is that if either right section gets stuck you're hosed, since the spaces are too small to make stripes. That plus the fact that you need a lot of luck to get a wrap in the right spot to remove the blocker/jelly make this not an easy level at all, except for Cookie, of course.

Use a color bomb booster - all of one color disappear. I did it with 7 moves to spare!

Great tip, thanks for sharing!

Not really my concern, however why does it seem like your always bashing cookie Lucia?

Wow, I don't even know what happened but I made a couple of moves and there were explosions and suddenly I am down to two jellies. I got rid of one but could not see the other one for the life of me. I'm on my computer so I couldn't do the "click on hand switch and then cancel" trick. I had a wrap in each section so I set them off and next thing I knew it was sugar crush... very easy or I had a lucky board. Also noticed that the new graphics are not on PC/Facebook.

Hi anonymous that wrote about the handswitch on the 15 of april. The handswitch is at the same place as the lolipops on the top of your screen after you started your game. You wont see it or be able to take the handswitch at the begginning like the colors bombs. You get it free with the free weel you get every day or you can by it. if you click on it you can switch 2 ingredients together. I hope this helped

The hand switch and then cancel trick only works on mobile devices because on facebook once you click on hand switch there is no way to cancel. Anyway, if there is one jelly left and you can't see it for the life of you then click on hand switch and it lights up the board and makes the jelly stand out. Then, once you see where the jelly is you cancel the hand switch. It works great!!

Thanks for the swap tip! The jelly in the center was hard to spot. The color bomb tip worked great especially since I have the top level helmet! Carol the elder

So I did

I agree. Harder to see and the flashing candies are more annoying.

When you click on the handswitch it blacks out the board, with the exception of the squares that still have jelly. When you've found the squares that still contain jelly, you click on the handswitch and cancel it.I've used this trick many times.

Lucia tells it like it is.
