Candy Crush Saga Level 2688 Tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2688 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2688 is a simple jelly level with jelly under every square on the board.
First you need to collect the 4 keys from the corners of the board and at the same time you can be looking for stripes and combos to start clearing the cake bomb in the middle of the board.
Once you have collected the 4 keys another will be unlocked in the bottom right corner, which will unlock the rest of the locks which are covering cream blockers.
Clearing the cake bomb will remove the final key if you haven't collected it already.
Once the board is open you can easily make colourbombs and combos to get the cascades going. The remaining jelly doesn't need many moves to clear as cascades will do most of the work for you.
However, there is one square that can prove tricky if you don't look out for it. The top right corner has no candy in it so has to be cleared using a stripe or combo.
There are only 4 colours on the board so once the keys are collected this can be a fun level to play and scores well over a million are common.

I agree with you this can be a fun level but only after you have collected keys and got rid of cake . By the time I have done all that I have very few moves left to enjoy the 'fun' bit. Guess I need a lucky board then maybe I'll get somewhere

I used a fish booster and it zeroed in twice on the empty cell at top right. Indy

Not fun at all.

28 useless moves! I haven't accomplished anything! Maybe get a couple keys, but that's it! Most of the time, moves accomplish nothing and then GAME DONE! Posting for luck as I am so close to giving this game up! Skill will not win this game, lucky board will!

Useless move after useless move and reshuffle after reshuffle, culminating in, at best, 7 or 8 moves to do what you need at least 15 moves to do. That isn't fun. It isn't fun at all. In fact, it's as boring as hell! Yes, I know, if I stick with it then I'll get the 'magic turn', where I miraculously get the keys and the cake in 5 moves and have plenty of time to get the rest, but in the meantime I'm reaching for a rope...
