Level 2840 is a tricky timed level, but tricky only at the start. You need to get to the extra time candies at the bottom of the board before the time runs out and to do this you need to make some special candies fairly quickly.
Unlock the colourbomb in the middle to also release more extra time candies from the dispenser and you are well on the way to completing this level.
It may take a few lives to get this right, but once you start to open up the board it will get easier to collect more extra time and clear the jelly.
Don't concern yourself with clearing jelly until you have cleared enough blockers to start getting plenty of extra time candies, then you will have time to look around and see where the jelly is.
All the popcorns have to be grown and wrapped candies are the best for this job.

Level 2839 needs some powerful combos if you are to have any chance of passing it.
Colourbomb combos are the best, switch a colourbomb with either a stripe or a wrap, or even two colourbombs switched together. This is the only way you will clear level 2839 with so many blockers and so few moves.
The cakes need to be cleared as there is jelly under them, but they will help with clearing the board too.
Once you clear the licorice it gets easier to clear the cakes although it will drop again when you use some combos.
I was quite lucky at the end of the video, but I'm grateful for any luck!

Because there are only three colours in level 2838 the candies cascade endlessly around and around through the portals and special candies keep forming and detonating.
The cascades do eventually stop, but the game can go on for endless minutes before they do.
You will not get any new lucky candies while the cascades continue so it is really just wasting time and racking up points.
The best way to beat level 2838 is to use a lucky candy booster. The lucky candies will keep dropping as the candies cascade and eventually all the orders are collected while you go and make a cup of tea.
I have not posted a video as it too over 20 minutes to complete the level and no one wants to watch candies cascading endlessly.
