Hints and tips showing how to pass level 856 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

Level 856 Candy Crush Saga is an order level, you have to collect yellow candies to complete the level. There are no yellow candies on the board and none will drop as you play. The only way you will get yellow candies is to change the lucky candies into yellows by either matching them or hitting them with special candies and combos.
Before you can change the lucky candies you will need to unlock them from the licorice locks. Make stripes if you can but you will also get some stripes dropping from the dispenser at the top of the board. Drop the stripes into positions where they will hit the lucky candies where you want to hit them and once the licorice locks are gone the lucky candies will drop down onto the bottom conveyor and they will be easier to match and change into yellows. The yellows should match with each other as you change more and more of the lucky candies so there is usually no need to switch the yellows together. Having said that, if you only need a few yellows and you can switch them then it is worth doing so to complete the orders.
Take your time and look carefully at the whole board before every move so you don't miss any chances to make the moves you need to complete the level.
